Surreal is always a great option when you have a sweet tooth. They have a variety of flavors like green tea Thai tea Ube. You can make Sundaes, floats, and they have teas. We always get a little bit of everything when we go with friends and family. This time we had a chocolate mason jar sundae and you get to Keep the mason jar which is sweet. Now you will spend a pretty penny to eat out like this but it's definitely for a moment you feel like indulging. Things usually cost about $6-13 dollars depending on what you get with add ons and what not. Overall this is a good spot in Westfield I've been to the one in Brunswick as well but this one seems to get more people probably because there's a lot of kids in the area and it's in a very popular part of downtown! Parking isn't too bad depending on what day you go.

Finally got to try Surreal. They don't have too many flavors... or normal flavors lol. I got a kids cup (which was huge) of the matcha and the Vietnamese coffee. They let you try the flavors too. You can add up to 4 toppings. The matcha was light but the coffee was way too strong and sweet. The good thing is they mix the toppings inside too. I would say it was way too sweet for my liking. Also really expensive at almost $10.

What a yummy, creamy experience! This place has really fancy and great options. Located in the heart of downtown westfield, a great place to go after a good meal (or I guess this can also be considered a meal in itself). The ice creams are big, but it is something you must try. I made my own chocolate ice cream. It was very good. They also have these huge mason jar ice cream which is something I will have to try next time. Staff was very friendly and place was super clean. I highly recommend if you are in the area! A must try. They also have bubble tea options.

Super cute ice cream shop. I ordered the cookie monster with wafers and condense milk in a mason jar. The flavor was not what I was expecting so I was surprisingly surprise at the unique flavor. The mason jar was like a little treat at the end. Would definitely recommend the Surreal Creamy. Cant wait to bring my son.

Monster cookie and cream

Order: - Monster Cookies & Cream (5/5) Pros: - Great tasting ice cream - Variety of unique flavors and toppings to choose from - Preset menu options and build your own - VERY large portions Cons: - Expensive, but it is worth just on the quantity alone - Long lines Overall: Lines out the door just shows you how good the ice cream is

Simply the best ice cream shop in town! I love all their ice cream flavors, but if I had to pick, I would rank matcha, taro and strawberry as my absolute favorites. The portions are ginormous and you can easily feed a family of four with just one item. My go-to order is the Vietnamese coffee float-tea with match/taro swirl. The store is usually packed, but you can generally get a table as the turnover is fairly fast. Pro tip: always get the order "swirled" and not capped even if you plan to get it to go. The capped portion is a lot smaller.

Taro bubble tea

Ordered the taro bubble tea, no options to adjust the level of sweetness like in other boba places. Service was better than the GC, though there was only one person bustling to keep up with orders - he definitely tried his best. We were sad to see the strawberry soft serve was out, would like to come back and try some of their fun signature desserts. Relaxed ambiance, it's apparent that is the place to be, good place to hang.

This place is located in downtown Westfield! We just tried the taro swirl which was good! Ambiance is decent enough!

Matcha and Taro twist

Pricey place to go for a quick ice cream, but the quality is there if you're looking for something a little elevated. The matcha and taro twist was excellent. I'm a huge fan of matcha ice cream but so often struggle to find GOOD matcha ice cream.

Macha and Taro Bubble Tea & Matcha Taro Swirled Ice Cream

It's a small establishment that is usually busy so expect a little bit of a wait. There options are pretty good and the serving sizes are even better and worth the money in my opinion. If you haven't tried it I would say go at least once, but beware if you do you may get addicted and have to keep coming back. Only con is I wish that they would have something or someone come clean off the tables after people leave ice cream can be very sticky and gross and you don't want to sit at a table like that.

Chocolate Black Out Mason Jar Special

This is the chocolate black out. It's supposed to come in a mason jar but they ran out so I had to get it in a plastic cup.

Vietnamese coffee and Earl Grey Swirl KIDDIE size with biscotti, chocolate straws, and waffle cookies.

This was the smallest size they offered and it was still enormous. About $9 after taxes. Ice cream itself was good, and very rich. Would go again but definitely need to split this with a friend or 3.

very expensive, decent quality. the cake ain't very good. the ice cream is very good. when u go through the ice cream to get to the cake it's disappointing because it dries your mouth out. guy working was alright . ambiance was normal i guess. i could maybe pogo stick here.

Amazing milk teas and fruit flavors (i love the almond milk tea, and strawberry fruity tea). The atmosphere is cozy which is great in an era of everything turning fluorescent and cold. But every door that closes gives us an opportunity to go somewhere else. Cafe Teasia this arctic Sunday night during the fallow holiday period was surely spartan ,modest in size and devote. There was a fellow with a backwards baseball cap on speaking with another someone far away on a laptop, mimicking the illusion of companionship. Another pair playing at the same human game we all play at was doing it in person as a couple or couple to be or two who were to have but these evening. The beau or fella was brashly loud which soon grew charming as I recalled when I used to try to wow girls with tales of meditation tricks and bragging I'd be dead in 2031 when the next Avatar comes out (or the equivalent in my time). So here I was coming in out of the cold playing the same innocent game for human connection. I wish I could warn him that her politely laughing may not be a good sign! Or maybe assure him it is - ah, but who knows what love is or indeed even what fun is. All i know was the last joint wasn't putting out any such vibe. Ah the severance. So I got two coffees to go because that's what coffees are for. But I also got my first ever "bubblentea". The mango bubble tea had these little pearl-like bubble balls that mash like tiny grapes in your mouth. Delightful candified moment. But here's what I'll always remember. The second i walked in, the cashier warmly greeted me and welcomed me with but three patrons here on a Sunday night - and the heat was out. She wore a coat. I didn't remove mine. Our breathe was nearly white but you know what? Not nearly so cold an experience as the last joint.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon with my family as we explored more of Downtown Westfield. There…read moreis street parking and designated lots dotted around. We just found a parking lot and parked. There are some tables and chairs in the front part of the shop so you can stay and enjoy as well as two benches outside if the weather is cooperative. The place is located on a side street and is pretty easy to find. They have a steady stream of customers coming in and out and they specialize in ice cream and cookies. They also have brownies as well. You can get them as ice cream sandwiches, an open faced cookie with ice cream on top (same with brownie), or just ice cream. There might be more I missed but I was preoccupied because one of my kids has multiple food allergies so we went in with not very high hopes, but it turns out they have all the ingredients printed out for you - so great news for those with complicated food allergies. Having said that, my kid could only have 2 cookies and 2 ice cream (chocolate, mint chocolate) flavors and it covers his favorite ice cream flavor of all time: chocolate. He's allergic to wheat, eggs, avocado, peanuts, tree nuts, kiwi, and pineapple and he didn't have a reaction. They got his ice cream from the back with a new spoon so no cross contamination. Major kudos there! We got: COOKIES AND CREAM SANDWICH: yep, cookies and cream ice cream between two cookies and cream cookies for my eldest who is a fan of everything cookies and cream. She really enjoyed this and ate most. I was impressed. The adults helped her finish it off. BROWN BUTTER DOUGHNUT (seasonal) + BLACKBERRY CRUMBLE SANDWICH: you can do split flavors so I did for the adults' treat. These were sandwiched between Snickerdoodle and Gooey Butter Cake Cookies. They will also split it for you if you want and make sure both halves have both flavors (yes, I wanted). Yum! DARK CHOCOLATE: my youngest got this in a kiddie cup. Yep, the one with food allergies. He ate it ALL and I didn't get a taste. I suppose that tells you a lot. The ice creams weren't too sweet but this might depend greatly on the flavors you get and the cookie(s). Ours were just right... though my husband said the cookies were maybe too much, haha. A great place to get an indulgent treat. And I'm glad my youngest was happy with his ice cream. You do have the option of getting them warmed at the end as well as toppings but my metabolism now really can't do additional goodies. Never mind what I already got. No regrets though! They're somewhat reasonably-okay priced... $4.50 for the kiddie cup and $9.19 for each ice cream sandwich (they are big and shareable so $4.60 per person?). However, I feel like I could have also finished one by myself if it were hot outside and I hadn't eaten in 2 hours. Okay, price isn't the most economical; just don't go regularly. I like how I didn't need to chug down a cup of water after the ice cream AND cookies so I was thoroughly pleased. The staff there are super friendly and helpful on top of all that! The tables look cleanish (I spotted tiny crumbs that were missed) but we wiped them down anyway like we usually do. I'll definitely be back when I'm in need of a treat! Sadly, no photos this time sound since everyone started eating as soon as they got them.

Love the concept but premium prices are a but much. Average of 9-10 bucks for ice cream is a bit…read morewild but I guess the times we live in and based on location. Serving sizes are good- so it may be best to split one with someone.
