    Kit Kat Gelato

Came in for gelato during the heat wave. Ordered the Kit Kat Gelato. While it tasted like Kit Kats (kudos), it lacked the creamy almost custard consistency of gelato. It's a nice looking place but the gelato wasn't what I expected.

Love the Chocolate Bar! Not only is the chocolate and the gelato amazing and delicious BUT the staff is always top notch! Everyone is always so kind and patient and they always work as a team. Oh and the chocolate Labubus are adorable!

This is such a cute dessert shop. My friend and I stopped here after dinner at La Bendita next door. I opted for gelato and added chocolate covered gummies as a topping. It was so good ! The price was reasonable too. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other options

Right in the heart of Westfield downtown, strolling past it after dinner and couldn't stop myself. Tons of variety for chocolate fans, they sell chocolate coated everything - pretzels, popsicles, Graham crackers, Oreos and rice krispies to name a few ! My eyes were on the Gelato however, the staff were friendly. Tried a few flavors and went for half and half of Vanilla caramel & Strawberry chocolate truffle. The flavors were subtle, not extra sweet, just the right amount. However I cut down 2 stars since the texture felt more like a lighter/skinnier icecream than a traditional Gelato. It lacked the thickness and creaminess that you get in a Gelato. But nice spot, great portions and value for money !!

Decided to try The Chocolate Bar after dinner today. As a lover of sweets, this place was one I figured I had to try. I am honestly disappointed. Although this could be a good spot for tweens on a date or families with picky little ones, I found this place to be lacking. It does have a nice "hip, modern" ambiance to it befitting Westfields younger demographic, but that's all you'll get out of it. The staff was friendly and let us taste the ice cream. However, it was lacking and simply tasted store bought. If you're wanting to try this spot, by all means go ahead! I will however be passing up a retry! Enjoy!

This was a walk up and order window with menus scattered about. What we got was very good. Chocolate covered strawberries, peanut butter marshmallows, chocolate covered pretzels and Turtles. I will definitely revisit to try other things another time. They had ice cream options as well. A pretty good list of flavors to choose from. The chocolate is quality tasting and the caramel was distinctly delicious. Even the pretzels were good, different from the regular chocolate dipped pretzels you'll find almost anywhere.

We stopped here for a sweet treat after dinner. They have a variety of chocolate but we wanted to try the gelato. I had the peanut butter cup flavor. There were a lot of peanut butter cup pieces which was great! A small cup comes with two scoops and is very reasonably priced. Definitely returning to try something new during my next visit.

This is one of my favorite places in Westfield. I've been going for years and the quality is always great. I usually get the gelato from here. The Roche is my favorite and tastes like a Ferrero Roche. The works is really great and is chock full of mix ins like oreos, cookie dough, chocolate chips, and sprinkles. You can also do an affogato here (at least pre Covid) and add a shot of espresso to the gelato. I definitely recommend this place for all your sweet tooth needs

I came cuz I wanted one chocolate covered pretzel lol This is a basic chocolate, coffee and gelato shop. There are a few tables in the front Parking- is street metered parking I was tended to as soon as I came in. I enjoyed my milk chocolate covered pretzel

"Blue-eyed boy meets a brown-eyed girl, Oh oh oh, the sweetest thing" (U2 - Sweetest Thing) If you suspect you'll find plenty of sweet things for your sweetheart's sweet tooth at the Chocolate Bar, your suspicion would be justified. Starting with the store's front awning (which looks suspiciously like a big Hershey's bar), there's an enchanted forest of sweetness everywhere you look. You'll see chocolates in every variation and permutation known to man, plus gelatos, sorbets, chocolate based espresso drinks, chocolate pretzels, cookies, truffles, turtles, brownies, biscottis and chocolate dipped strawberries. I had a small dish of their Stracciatella gelato - a very good vanilla gelato with thin chocolate flakes. It was outstanding!! The vanilla base was sweet creamy and flavorful, and the ribbons of chocolate lace were plentiful, crunchy and delicious. Well done, Chocolate Bar!

I've been going to this place for years it's never a disappointment every flavor they have is just simply amazing every time I bring new people with me they die over the gelato and want to go back highly recommended reasonable prices and great flavors!! My favorite is "the works"! It has cookie dough Oreo sprinkles and vanilla gelato!!!

There is street parking…read moreand a few parking lots in the area so we just parked at one, wanted about, and also made a stop here. As a nod to the name (Kirshenbaum is German for cherry tree), there are little cherries everywhere inside from signs to wallpaper. Ample seats, natural light, friendly staff, plus delectable treats make this place a good one to stop at. They also serve light bites but as we were sort of hopping from one place to another on a Sunday, I only ordered a few sweet treats. BLACK FOREST: my daughter picked this, likely because she thought it was a chocolate cake. But it was not your average chocolate cake. A good sized slice with moist cake, cherries, and dark chocolate bits throughout, I highly enjoyed this one. It's perfectly sweet - though I admit my daughter finished the exterior layer of frosting so the thin layered in between the cake were ideal for my taste buds. It was a bit too elevated for my daughter who only really wanted your regular chocolate cake. MATCHA CRUFFIN: This is a croissant-muffin filled with matcha cream, rolled in sugar. The laminated dough was packed so not like your airy-but-crispy-exterior croissant, nor was it noticeable buttery, but it did do its job by keeping its shape and the layers helped give its name. It was lovely to pull apart, with a nice, chewy texture. The filling wasn't exactly in the center (I shared this with my husband) so I dipped a little into the filling (borderline reminded me of pastry cream) that my husband got. It's light but also has a very nice matcha flavor that comes through. RASPBERRY LYCHEE PIE: I love pie and I was happy to find a uniquely flavored one here especially since it reminded me of my favorite ice cream flavor in Europe at Haagen Dazs years back (rose raspberry lychee) so I pounced on it. First off, this is definitely a mousse pie. We're vegetarian so a part of me wonders if gelatin was used to make this so I likely won't get this a second time without me asking the necessary questions - but it is good. As with most mousse confections, this is light and delicate in a way. Airy. Still substantial that I didn't feel cheated out of my money but not too filling. Nothing overpowered each other and the flavors and textures worked together beautifully. There were chunks of raspberries but I don't recall actual bits of lychee fruit in there, though you do get the flavor of it in there. I absolutely love the interesting flavors here and the items I got. I especially am a fan of how everything is perfectly sweet. I have a sweet tooth, but only for things that aren't too sweet and this is completely up my alley. They do have gluten free options but nothing extensive. And I'm pretty sure they include eggs. I have a kid with multiple food allergies and he couldn't have anything here so I got him a bottle of apple juice and he was content with it. I'll definitely stop by again to try more items and get a drink to go with. Maybe get my daughter a cookie since I hear they're pretty good.

The service was patient and friendly as we took some time on what to order. I tried four different offerings. Double Chocolate Chip Cookie ($4.25) - This was a dark chocolate cookie with chocolate chip chunks. This was a good size, but it just fell short for me. I liked the chewy middle and texture, but it just felt like more chocolate could have been tasted as crazy as that sounds. Strawberry Jam Donut ($3.85) - This was a brioche donut filled with their own strawberry jam. The strawberry jam was the lone highlight here. It was great, but the actual donut was not. It was also a little small for the price. I just did not think I liked the brioche type of donut here. It needed to be sweeter, but that jelly, exceptional. Cheesy Jalapeno Croissant ($7) - This was filled with mozzarella cheese, pickled jalapeno peppers, and was topped with an everything seasoning. This was definitely the best product tried of the day. The croissant was flaky and light while the inside had plenty of jalapenos and mozzarella. The jalapenos of this particular one were quite spicy, which was nice. The everything topping was not needed I thought. Gluten Free Strawberry Lemon Cake Slice ($7.25) - This was a lemon vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream. This was a nice sized slice. If I did not know this was gluten free before eating, I do not think I would have been able to tell. Having said that though, the cake slice as a whole was just okay. The cake had good texture, and the buttercream was nicely done, but it just was alright and did not excite me. Maybe, I was missing the gluten! Will I go back? Possibly.

We just found a parking lot and parked. There are some tables and chairs in the front part of the shop so you can stay and enjoy as well as two benches outside if the weather is cooperative. The place is located on a side street and is pretty easy to find. They have a steady stream of customers coming in and out and they specialize in ice cream and cookies. They also have brownies as well. You can get them as ice cream sandwiches, an open faced cookie with ice cream on top (same with brownie), or just ice cream. There might be more I missed but I was preoccupied because one of my kids has multiple food allergies so we went in with not very high hopes, but it turns out they have all the ingredients printed out for you - so great news for those with complicated food allergies. Having said that, my kid could only have 2 cookies and 2 ice cream (chocolate, mint chocolate) flavors and it covers his favorite ice cream flavor of all time: chocolate. He's allergic to wheat, eggs, avocado, peanuts, tree nuts, kiwi, and pineapple and he didn't have a reaction. They got his ice cream from the back with a new spoon so no cross contamination. Major kudos there! We got: COOKIES AND CREAM SANDWICH: yep, cookies and cream ice cream between two cookies and cream cookies for my eldest who is a fan of everything cookies and cream. She really enjoyed this and ate most. I was impressed. The adults helped her finish it off. BROWN BUTTER DOUGHNUT (seasonal) + BLACKBERRY CRUMBLE SANDWICH: you can do split flavors so I did for the adults' treat. These were sandwiched between Snickerdoodle and Gooey Butter Cake Cookies. They will also split it for you if you want and make sure both halves have both flavors (yes, I wanted). Yum! DARK CHOCOLATE: my youngest got this in a kiddie cup. Yep, the one with food allergies. He ate it ALL and I didn't get a taste. I suppose that tells you a lot. The ice creams weren't too sweet but this might depend greatly on the flavors you get and the cookie(s). Ours were just right... though my husband said the cookies were maybe too much, haha. A great place to get an indulgent treat. And I'm glad my youngest was happy with his ice cream. You do have the option of getting them warmed at the end as well as toppings but my metabolism now really can't do additional goodies. Never mind what I already got. No regrets though! They're somewhat reasonably-okay priced... $4.50 for the kiddie cup and $9.19 for each ice cream sandwich (they are big and shareable so $4.60 per person?). However, I feel like I could have also finished one by myself if it were hot outside and I hadn't eaten in 2 hours. Okay, price isn't the most economical; just don't go regularly. I like how I didn't need to chug down a cup of water after the ice cream AND cookies so I was thoroughly pleased. The staff there are super friendly and helpful on top of all that! The tables look cleanish (I spotted tiny crumbs that were missed) but we wiped them down anyway like we usually do. I'll definitely be back when I'm in need of a treat! Sadly, no photos this time sound since everyone started eating as soon as they got them.

Love the concept but premium prices are a but much. Average of 9-10 bucks for ice cream is a bit…read morewild but I guess the times we live in and based on location. Serving sizes are good- so it may be best to split one with someone.

But every door that closes gives us an opportunity to go somewhere else. Cafe Teasia this arctic Sunday night during the fallow holiday period was surely spartan ,modest in size and devote. There was a fellow with a backwards baseball cap on speaking with another someone far away on a laptop, mimicking the illusion of companionship. Another pair playing at the same human game we all play at was doing it in person as a couple or couple to be or two who were to have but these evening. The beau or fella was brashly loud which soon grew charming as I recalled when I used to try to wow girls with tales of meditation tricks and bragging I'd be dead in 2031 when the next Avatar comes out (or the equivalent in my time). So here I was coming in out of the cold playing the same innocent game for human connection. I wish I could warn him that her politely laughing may not be a good sign! Or maybe assure him it is - ah, but who knows what love is or indeed even what fun is. All i know was the last joint wasn't putting out any such vibe. Ah the severance. So I got two coffees to go because that's what coffees are for. But I also got my first ever "bubblentea". The mango bubble tea had these little pearl-like bubble balls that mash like tiny grapes in your mouth. Delightful candified moment. But here's what I'll always remember. The second i walked in, the cashier warmly greeted me and welcomed me with but three patrons here on a Sunday night - and the heat was out. She wore a coat. I didn't remove mine. Our breathe was nearly white but you know what? Not nearly so cold an experience as the last joint.
