The vibe was great. The sweets were so good. I had an almond croissant for next day and it was amazing sorry no photo. But pistachio choux was beautiful and yummy
I'm always craving macarons, so this was the perfect spot to fuel my midweek lull. There were so many amazing macaron flavors I had never seen before (i.e champagne, rose lychee, lavender, earl grey tea). These macarons were some of the best I've had - the perfect amount of filling and the cookie was fluffy and soft. I got 14 different flavors, but my favorites were the champagne and the rasberry. The storefront is so aesthetically pleasing, which is what initially put this spot on my radar as I was passing through Cranford. The outside is painted pink and decorated with pink flowers and pink tables. The inside is just as cute - so cozy and elegant! Definitely will be coming here again for the macarons, but will be making my way through their pastries, cakes, and sandwiches as well. Check this spot out if you have the chance - it will not disappoint!
If you are looking for delicious French pastries in NJ, look no further. If I lived anywhere near this place, I would be here all the time. I loved the owners and the pastries. The pastry shop is located in a wonderful spot. Close to many nice shops and the Zoo! The pastry shop had a wide range of pastries. They had warm baked goods and delicious cakes. They had every flavor of cake, raspberry, chocolatey, coffee, etc. the first day we only bought two French pastries and enjoyed them greatly. The next day we got 4 items from the warm bakery. The croissant were delicious and flakey. We really enjoyed this place overall. Lovely couple, lovely location, lovely desserts. I highly highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.
It is disconcerting how many calories I've consumed here, it has not done wonders to my waistline, but my taste buds are in heaven. It is my go to place for all things, birthday celebrations, holidays, get together or just because. I love taking the cakes to parties and hear the "oohs" and "aahs" when I unveil the beautiful creations. I always eagerly wait with bated breath to see all of the wonderful new inventions the chef comes up with for each major holidays. Everything is spectacular and breathtaking.
Wow! This place is great! It's a small shop with cute little touches of Parisian reminders. As soon as I walked in, the delicious aroma of fresh baked sweet goodies infused me, even with a double mask on. The window display is so cute with rustic wooden trays each holding a different variety of croissants. Inside you'll find beautiful and unique pastries. I had the almond croissant- filled with an almond paste and buttery soft layers of dough, it was really delicious. The ends of the croissant were the best parts where I savored the flaky, crusty corners. I also tried the hazelnut pastry- it's like eating the pastry version of a ferrero rocher chocolate. The service was good too- as soon as we walked in, a staff person came and asked us what we wanted and proceeded to start our order from croissants to pastries to macaroons.
The cutest, most delicious bakery in downtown Cranford. It does get busy on the weekends and they only allow a few people inside at a time. Their bread and pastries are stunning. Their coffee was also delicious. They have some small seating outside to enjoy your treats and people watch. Almond croissant was 10/10.
Finally got a chance to try this place. I'm quite close, and wish that I'd come sooner. The Macarons were fairly good. They are not the best that I've had, but price was decent @ 12 for $25. There was a large variety of flavors. The presentation was nice, so would be good for a gift. We got a few small pastries/cakes, and those were really good. Better than most of the local bakeries in presentation and taste in my opinon. Each item was $5.5 which I think is reasonable given the quality. And apparantly they can make bigger versions of anything... you just need to order in advance. I believe you just tell them the # of people and they make the appropriate size (and the price is 5.5 pp).
Chose this place for my bf's and my own birthday cakes! We got the dark chocolate raspberry cake, it's absolutely delicious. Nothing like I've ever tasted before. Every person that had this cake all said about the same thing- "Wow it's really good!" The staff were amazing & kind as well. Would love to order again if I got the chance.
It was my first time coming to this cafe and I thought it was super cute! I came went during COVID-19 and they took my order outside. There is also a menu attached to the window so you can look at it before you order. The employees are very friendly and took safety measures for proper social distancing. I got 6 macarons for $2.50 each. I chose the flavors: dairy-free mango, passionfruit, rose lychee, strawberry poppies, lavender, and cotton candy. Out of the 6 flavors, I think I like lavender the most because it has a strong lavender flavor that I really love. I would say the flavors all have strong flavoring to it and taste amazing. They also have a huge selection of flavors that you can choose from. Overall, I really love this cafe and their macarons! I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone with a sweet tooth!
Excellent place! Purchased croissants, macarons, a green dessert, and a Neapolitan dessert. Pricey (especially the macarons) but worth it. The macarons melt in your mouth and are full of flavor. The croissants were flakey and buttery perfection. I'll definitely return when I feel like treating myself or others.
So I finally came to this place after having it bookmarked in yelp for over a year. I suddenly had a sweet tooth and decided to take the 20min drive. The place is small and cute. I went around 4 so most of the fresh pastries I saw online were gone. They had a few desserts too. The ladies behind the counter were really nice and patient. They took the time ti explain everything to me. Everything looked good. My only con is that most of the desserts they had, had either chocolate, hazelnuts, or nuts in it. No i am not allergic, but I wanted variety and not be in a chocolate coma because I adore chocolate. I really wanted the "nutella bread" ive been seeing on yelp but they stated the baker hasnt made it for a while. I dont remember the names of the desserts but one was raspberry cheesecake, dark chocolate mousse, and a chocolate eclair. All were perfect. I thought It would of been overly sweet due to how beautiful it looked, but I was wrong. All in all, I love this place and I will come back. Morley for special occasion purposes. Highly reccomended.
Nice and cozy place for a croissant and pastries. They have big selection of macarons. The staff is very nice. There's wifi available if need to upload to tik tok or insta. cc accepted. I had the Kuign amann which came out from the oven and it was really good.

If I had known that Pierre is in the house on Madison Main Street (he is known for Pierre & Michel in Elmwood & Ridgewood), I would have been over to visit a lot sooner. Albeit the name in the door, he is much, much more than Macarons! Awesome pastries! Nice man too! read more

It's not what it was when they opened. I was hoping it was just me, just a fluke, but I have come in several times and left disappointed. My 9 AM chocolate almond croissant was stale. Not fluffy, not fresh. I remember when they first opened everything was fantastic, but I'd rather have no croissant than a stale croissant. Service, as always, was friendly. The ambience is nice, it's very clean inside with cute little tables. I would come in for a macaron or hot drink, but I'm iffy on the baked goods after several not-so-fresh items over the years. read more
The place has changed a bit. They no longer have the croissants where you load them yourself. They added a few more tables inside. We ordered the hazelnut donut and hazelnut croissant. We also got a chocolate bun. We picked up 3 desserts. The beignet was soft even after a day. The croissants were well filled. The desserts were very decadent. read more

I have been back and forth about trying this spot and decided I finally would. When I walked in I began looking around. They had all kinds of sweets around. I asked a few questions with a nice young man. I had my eye on a peach tart and went with it. The only thing I didn't like was it was exposed and not covered like some of the other items. People were able to touch if they wanted to but I still wanted to try it . I paid a little over $3 and left. When I got home, I ate and it was tasty. The crust was soft and the peaches were sweet. I enjoyed the dessert. read more

Let me start by saying, EVERYTHING I had here is absolutely delicious! The reason for 3 stars is the service I received today. I placed a custom birthday cake over the phone two days ago (June 3rd) I went to the store on June 5th around 11:30AM to pick up the cake. The cake was not yet ready as they had to wirte "Happy Birthday" on the cake. No big deal. As I waited near all the delicious bakery items. I ask the young lady at the counter for help. I wanted to purchase additional items. I felt she was annoyed at my request, but she reluctantly helped me. This is something new. I have not had any problems at this store before. I felt I was bothering her by asking her to do her job. I was the only customer in the store at the time so I could not observe how she interacted with other customers. I will give her the benefit of the doubt. She may be having a bad day or didn't want to be at work. It may be an one off situation. As a paying customer I felt I did not receive the customer experience we normally get here. This experience left a bad aftertaste for me. Personally I will not be coming back. While everything here is delicious, I expect the service to match the product they are selling. Everyone else was delightful and helpful. read more

This amazing French patisserie is a real gem in downtown Cranford. Raja spent a lot of time explaining their delights to me. The café prepares croissant sandwiches, along with a full espresso bar. They also have gelato and sorbet from a Brooklyn gelateria. The huge variety of their popular macarons are bought in, because they can't have a gluten-free kitchen in their tiny space, but their beautiful French pastries, croissants, brioches, and baguettes are baked fresh daily by the chef, and are as close to Paris as you can get right now. read more

Oh my goodness, this place deserves all of the hype. I had Le Caraibe (passion fruit) and it was one of the best things I ever put in my mouth. You have to have a forkful of all of the elements together because the pâtisserie chef here absolutely knows what he's doing. It's so perfectly put together, tasting almost like a limoncello pastry but one million times better. Side note -- make sure you refrigerate the pastries and whatnot that you get! The employees inside too are so sweet and personable. They're French and it shows that they know exactly what they're doing in there. On top of that, this place is right in the heart of downtown and is so well-kept and adorable. It's a little shoppe but with a good number of inside and outdoor tables (when it's not COVID times). Will happily return again soon. C'était magnifique. read more
I adore Délice!! I was so excited when I heard a French bakery was opening right in downtown Cranford. I was there the day they opened and fell in love immediately with the bright cafe and felt like I was whisked away to France. The croissants and pain au chocolat are so, so good there. Try a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Believe me when I say the calories are more than worth the buttery goodness that complements the melty cheese with every bite. And of course, the macarons are wonderful! They have so many fantastic flavors and every one I've had is filled with the perfect amount of filling and the cookies are magical. I've made macarons before so I know the painstaking process of making macarons. It is lengthy and just one error can ruin a batch. The fact that these are perfect every single time and are flawless is a true feat. Pierre is so lovely and I am greeted warmly with smiles every time I'm there. Get yourself a box to sample several macarons!! They also make a great gift! read more

Wow! What can I say about this place, deliciousness in a box! I ordered a cake and mango dessert for my birthday and it was the best decision ever. The mini dessert was passion for mousse with a mango compote, Coconut sponge, and white crunch. I eat the entire thing in one sitting it was absolutely delectable. So airy and just the right amount of sweet with the fruit. I ordered a cake the day before as well and for $40 this cake is an absolute steal. It was a vanilla mousse, with a cream Brulé Vanilla chocolate sponge , and a white chocolatey crunch. The cake was beautiful as well as delicious I had three pieces in one day (happy birthday to me!). The chef even came out to show me the cake before boxing it. Parking is easy in the neighborhood. Definitely recommend placing your orders the day before as some orders are special made. You need to try this bakery as of yesterday! read more

A friend of mine suggested we stop by to grab more coffee after breakfast. The front window of the shop is certainly eye catching with the pastries displayed across the window...letting the food do the talking! I ordered a macchiato and a small sampling of macaroons and sat outside to just chill a bit. The macchiato was delicious and so were the macarons. The interior has 1 glass cases of just macaroons and separate one for decadent looking desserts. I know I would get myself into trouble ordering so I just stuck with the macarons. There are other sweets references on the menu so I am curious to see how their cakes are. I would certainly come back for their pastries! Maybe next time, grab a box of some to take home. read more

OMG I LOVE THIS BAKERY! My co-workers and I come here for the mini cakes and croissants! I've probably had every mini cake over the last year, and they are just as good as they look! It's a tiny bakery in downtown Cranford, and it's worth the trip. It's a little on the pricey side but it doesn't matter because you will buy everything, lol. And the presentation is nice, too. They put your goodies in cute little boxes and bags. They're great to share with friends, family, colleagues. :) read more
