My coworker and I wanted to get dessert after our dinner and found this place down the street. We decided to check it out. It's located on the same street as the Fresh Fish Market and across of Main Street Spirits on Main St in, I believe, downtown Rahway. There is only paid metered street parking around the area. Prior to ordering, I was given the option to sample some of their flavors. I ordered a small with two flavors: Banana Dulce de Leche and Espresso. The Banana Dulce de Leche was a pleasant surprise, with a good banana flavor that was unfortunately overpowered by the caramel. I also found the Dulce de Leche to be a bit icy, which didn't blend well. The Espresso was okay, but had only a light, aromatic coffee flavor. I thought it wasn't strong enough in my opinion. The actual banana flavor came through, which is rare and appreciated. The balance was spot on. It wasn't too fruity or too sweet. Standard flavors like Pistachio and Stracciatella are solid, true smooth to texture without so much heft, definitely full flavor. Their mango gelato is decadent and feels like you just had a case of Alfonso mangoes delivered to you. Another pleasant and robust favorite order is an affogato with vanilla or any flavor is a seminal go-getter treat that's energize you and tick that checkbox of decadence. All in all, an amazing and needed addition to Rahway! This gelato shop was so good. It is perfect for an evening walk or an afternoon sweet tooth break. I had the chocolate chip cookie sandwich with vanilla bean, they were already premade and put right by the ice cream selection, the other option they had available was peanut butter cookie with strawberry jam gelato which sounded delish! The cookie remains soft, even with the hard ice cream in it. the cookie cost $6.75. There was only one gentleman working there but they just open recently so I'm sure they're just figuring things out to see how many customers they get. The espresso is good just like any other cafe you visit, but the cost of the affogato itself is 2$ + more than others I've had at over 9$ for a cup without tip(10.34$ with 1$ tip)when they normally can be had at 6-7$(some places even offer 2 scoops at 6 bucks which is a steal). There's a lot of space inside to sit and the person that helped me out was pretty nice. Great spot but if the affogato price reflects the price of their other products, it's a tough buy. read more

We stopped in here today after I saw them post on Instagram that they have options for those with allergies. Our son has a nut allergy and it was great to see that all of the flavors are in separate containers and use their own scoopers. We all loved our flavors (both kids were big fans of Cookies and Cream) and the server was very patient and helpful. The space is also very nice, a great spot to just sit and enjoy your gelato. We stopped in on a rainy Friday night after getting pizza at Nancy's, we found it by accident while looking for parking. The ambiance inside is so nice, it's just mellow and has nice lighting and just a generally nice place to hang out.
