Absolutely delicious gelato ! Such a cute spot with a nice variety of flavors ! The vanilla bean is absolutely delicious in a Afagoto ! Prices are a little high but worth the price !

A slick gelato spot in downtown Rahway serving up around 10 flavors plus espresso and coffee on the side. I had the banana dulce de leche. The actual banana flavor came through, which is rare and appreciated. The balance was spot on. It wasn't too fruity or too sweet. Only downside was the icy texture in the dulce de leche, which distracted from the gelato's creaminess. I knocked a star off because of that. Inside, it's stylish and cozy. Gold spirals on the walls give it a touch of glam without being over the top. The vibe is calm and polished. Service was efficient but not particularly warm. The staff member seemed focused, but a little friendliness would have elevated the visit. Street parking is metered and a bit tricky, but circling the block usually does the trick. Great spot for a quick sweet fix with some flair.

Daughter saw purple ice cream, well gelato and had to go inside. Chocolate cones were a nice touch and the location itself was beautiful. Service was prompt, staff were naturally friendly. As for taste I haven't had much gelato to compare it to. Ube flavor was good not over powering or sweet. Lost a star for the value an espresso size cup for $7.20 (cash) was steep.

Oh my goshhhh!!! Just do yourself a favor and go here!! You want a delightful refreshing ice treat, this is the place! Was craving a chilling treat & came here with my bestie per her recommendation. Sooo good! Ordered a cup with part blood orange sorbet and part mango. Soo happy and wanted more. Next time, I will order the lemon sorbet! For coconut lovers, the coconut gelato is delish as well! Also, tried their gigantic triple chocolate cookie which was amazing!

Finally got the chance to try Wholly Cow and it did not disappoint. There are not many places that have REAL homemade gelato in Union County but Wholly Cow does! I got an ice cream sandwich. Dulce de Leche gelato sandwiched in between two soft homemade chocolate chip cookies. It was great. The selection on offer is also great as well. Inside there is plenty of places to sit and it is open pretty late, 11:00pm, which is awesome.

Medium gelato with pistachio and cookies and creme

Wholly cow this place is just that, literally. I was so surprised to find a hidden local gem that makes FRESH, REAL gelato. So real, I thought the pistachio gelato was mislabeled because it wasn't the color green! I got the pistachio and cookies and cream! So yummy! Service was great and the shop was so cute! It had touches of cow print all over which I loved! Highly recommend checking them out!

This gelato shop was so good. It is perfect for an evening walk or an afternoon sweet tooth break. I had the chocolate chip cookie sandwich with vanilla bean, they were already premade and put right by the ice cream selection, the other option they had available was peanut butter cookie with strawberry jam gelato which sounded delish! The cookie remains soft, even with the hard ice cream in it. the cookie cost $6.75. There was only one gentleman working there but they just open recently so I'm sure they're just figuring things out to see how many customers they get. The place is so cute inside, the music and ambience were a vibe!! Check it out.

Beautiful cosy clean place, i tried mint chocolate chips gelato small size but definitely enough. It's creamy & smooth, not sure if it's authentic but taste great .

& Can't forget about the classics!

The staff was friendly and offered great suggestions. Although it was very busy on Saturday afternoon, I was happy to find a few seats available with the background music at the perfect, conversational volume. I only came in to order coffee, but seeing all those delicious pastries and baked goods made me almost change my mind. There were several winter specials available, so I decided to try the dulce de leche latte. I really enjoyed it since it was bold and strong, but had a smooth, sweet finish. There were many tasty-sounding latte choices such as horchata, tiramisu, and the golden palms latte, which is made of turmeric. I look forward to trying one of those the next time that I return.

I ordered three fried empanadas (two chicken and one beef). they were okay - the crust is a bit different than I'm used to, but maybe the empanadas I typically have are baked. Also seemed to be more potato than meat in the beef one. The Americano coffee is awful. It gives mostly hot water with a hint of coffee flavor. I tossed it and didn't complain. Granted it's a cafe and not a coffee shop, but it's coffee! They have a plethora of other drinks that may be worth trying, but i will never order coffee here again. The decor inside is nice Also note, this is mostly a beverage and snack place. Very little food on the menu.

But every door that closes gives us an opportunity to go somewhere else. Cafe Teasia this arctic Sunday night during the fallow holiday period was surely spartan ,modest in size and devote. There was a fellow with a backwards baseball cap on speaking with another someone far away on a laptop, mimicking the illusion of companionship. Another pair playing at the same human game we all play at was doing it in person as a couple or couple to be or two who were to have but these evening. The beau or fella was brashly loud which soon grew charming as I recalled when I used to try to wow girls with tales of meditation tricks and bragging I'd be dead in 2031 when the next Avatar comes out (or the equivalent in my time). So here I was coming in out of the cold playing the same innocent game for human connection. I wish I could warn him that her politely laughing may not be a good sign! Or maybe assure him it is - ah, but who knows what love is or indeed even what fun is. All i know was the last joint wasn't putting out any such vibe. Ah the severance. So I got two coffees to go because that's what coffees are for. But I also got my first ever "bubblentea". The mango bubble tea had these little pearl-like bubble balls that mash like tiny grapes in your mouth. Delightful candified moment. But here's what I'll always remember. The second i walked in, the cashier warmly greeted me and welcomed me with but three patrons here on a Sunday night - and the heat was out. She wore a coat. I didn't remove mine. Our breathe was nearly white but you know what? Not nearly so cold an experience as the last joint.

I come here only on Sunday mornings and often, when there is usually no line. For two years I have been doing this , I have received ZERO eye contact, no warmth, no engagement from this shift's crew--until today. That's why it mattered when one Asian barista this morning (who wasn't the one to take my order) warmly looked at me, smiled, and said something kind. It came right after her coworker placed my drink down, mumbled my name, and they turned their back on me when I thanked them -- but weren't doing anything else! Same energy when they took my order minutes earlier even when I was the only person in line. Like I owe them a favor for being at their counter! I've watched them and their colleagues treat me this way consistently. Mind you, I either only order a latte, a matcha, or a pastry. The worst part is that this treatment feels selective. I''ve seen this same crew be friendly, laugh, and engage with other customers--but from what I've seen for 2 years is that it seems only a certain type of walk-in gets this reception. It suck's to be flatly received and then notice the person behind me get a smile and a conversation, even if it's obvious that they're not a regular here ... at least not on Sundays. :) Again, thank you to that barista who broke the pattern for me today because I finally felt seen. I added a 3rd star out of gratitude. :) If you've found this crew non-selectively friendly, I'd genuinely like to know what day you come--because my Sunday morning experience has been consistently selective. I choose to be optimistic. And to management, let's talk about this.

I really loved the jelly donut. Tastes exactly like a jelly donut! The sticky rice has a nice coconuty caramel flavor despite having no caramel. The barista was so nice friendly. I live about 20 minutes away but I think I'll be making the drive to try more of the menu. This place turns into a brewery at night which I also want to try! Such a unique and fun business concept.
