Food is awesome. Love the croffle. It's a hot waffle with toppings. So many drink options.

We just found a parking lot and parked. There are some tables and chairs in the front part of the shop so you can stay and enjoy as well as two benches outside if the weather is cooperative. The place is located on a side street and is pretty easy to find. They have a steady stream of customers coming in and out and they specialize in ice cream and cookies. They also have brownies as well. You can get them as ice cream sandwiches, an open faced cookie with ice cream on top (same with brownie), or just ice cream. There might be more I missed but I was preoccupied because one of my kids has multiple food allergies so we went in with not very high hopes, but it turns out they have all the ingredients printed out for you - so great news for those with complicated food allergies. Having said that, my kid could only have 2 cookies and 2 ice cream (chocolate, mint chocolate) flavors and it covers his favorite ice cream flavor of all time: chocolate. He's allergic to wheat, eggs, avocado, peanuts, tree nuts, kiwi, and pineapple and he didn't have a reaction. They got his ice cream from the back with a new spoon so no cross contamination. Major kudos there! We got: COOKIES AND CREAM SANDWICH: yep, cookies and cream ice cream between two cookies and cream cookies for my eldest who is a fan of everything cookies and cream. She really enjoyed this and ate most. I was impressed. The adults helped her finish it off. BROWN BUTTER DOUGHNUT (seasonal) + BLACKBERRY CRUMBLE SANDWICH: you can do split flavors so I did for the adults' treat. These were sandwiched between Snickerdoodle and Gooey Butter Cake Cookies. They will also split it for you if you want and make sure both halves have both flavors (yes, I wanted). Yum! DARK CHOCOLATE: my youngest got this in a kiddie cup. Yep, the one with food allergies. He ate it ALL and I didn't get a taste. I suppose that tells you a lot. The ice creams weren't too sweet but this might depend greatly on the flavors you get and the cookie(s). Ours were just right... though my husband said the cookies were maybe too much, haha. A great place to get an indulgent treat. And I'm glad my youngest was happy with his ice cream. You do have the option of getting them warmed at the end as well as toppings but my metabolism now really can't do additional goodies. Never mind what I already got. No regrets though! They're somewhat reasonably-okay priced... $4.50 for the kiddie cup and $9.19 for each ice cream sandwich (they are big and shareable so $4.60 per person?). However, I feel like I could have also finished one by myself if it were hot outside and I hadn't eaten in 2 hours. Okay, price isn't the most economical; just don't go regularly. I like how I didn't need to chug down a cup of water after the ice cream AND cookies so I was thoroughly pleased. The staff there are super friendly and helpful on top of all that! The tables look cleanish (I spotted tiny crumbs that were missed) but we wiped them down anyway like we usually do. I'll definitely be back when I'm in need of a treat! Sadly, no photos this time sound since everyone started eating as soon as they got them.

Love the concept but premium prices are a but much. Average of 9-10 bucks for ice cream is a bit…read morewild but I guess the times we live in and based on location. Serving sizes are good- so it may be best to split one with someone.

Being that this summer has been absolutely sweltering this year, soft ice cream always seems to be my dessert of choice on those unbearably hot days. This place in the middle of Westfield is very clean on the inside, really nice and luckily on the day we visited, there was nobody inside so we were attended to immediately. They have multiple flavors of soft serve ice cream, At this visit we decided upon the monster cookies and chocolate soft swerve swirl. We thought about their other desserts, but ultimately decided against it but the mason jar sundae looked amazing. The ice cream itself, the chocolate was silky and smooth and absolutely as soft ice cream should be. The monster cookies tasted okay, but was a little gritty for soft serve. Maybe this flavor would work better with some of their other desserts, but as stand alone soft serve, it just was not it. I've had monster cookie adjacent ice creams usually as hard ice cream, and maybe it works better that way. Overall, solid, definitely would try their other flavors and other extensive desserts available.

Very easy ordering process, recently ordered assorted cookies for Valentine's Day. Order was packaged securely, cookies were very fresh and everyone was happy to see the familiar Bovella's box of treats on our kitchen counter. Fudge filled American butter cookies and rainbow cookies are still our family's favorite!

We were greeted as soon as we walked in... and then I quickly realized there were THREE people behind the counter. We were the only ones there for a few moments before another family walked in behind us. They had gone there before so generally knew what they wanted. Me? Not so much. Despite how many people were working at the time, there were no explanations or help... but they do respond to questions. They have a few small tables but it's a relatively small store. There are display cases filled with cookies, pastries, cupcakes, and cakes. Lots of character in there, but nothing is labeled and there are no prices other than the cookies (they're purchased by weight... 1 lb is 10 cookies). I sort of ran with it, but since I don't know the names of half the items, this will be a more general review. I grabbed a lobster tail and a sfogliatelle. They look similar at first glance... but when I asked, they are definitely NOT the same thing. In fact, she sounded a bit offended I asked. Hahaha. She mentioned something about the sfogliatelle being baked? It also comes in two sizes and I got the large. I later ate them and... I'm not too sure what the difference is because they're similar in shape. The lobster tail seems to be a flaky pastry that was cut in half and the cream piped in. The sfogliatelle was not cut but it was filled as well and I'm pretty sure they added orange zest to it... I liked that. The lobster tail didn't have any citrus that I remembered. I enjoyed them... but we ate them the next day. They weren't the crispiest then. Also got two large cannoli's filled with the regular cream. Plus a cream puff filled with "custard" (you can opt for ricotta instead). And an interesting beige white tart and a teeny fruit tart (I actually wanted the bigger fruit tart but they got the mini one instead... I didn't notice until we got home since everything is packed behind the counter). Cannolis were pretty good! Lots of cream and the shells were still crisp, but you could taste the oil since they're deep fried. I should have gotten the smaller size so the proportions would have been more balanced. The cream puff was a cream puff? Nice and light with the thick filling inside that wasn't too sweet. The fruit tart was good with a standard sweet tart shortbread crust. The mystery lattice tart thing was good as well! Not sweet and had very interesting flavors... fairly certain almonds were a part of it. Probably a version of frangipane? My daughter got a Spider-Man cupcake. Their cupcakes have a thin icing type topping instead of your typical piped frosting on top. They're also filled with a buttery frosting that isn't too sweet! I was pleasantly surprised. I was apprehensive when she was adamant on getting that cupcake because they're often overly sweet. I would like to note that a lot of their creams/custard filled goodies use the same filling. And it's not what I expected. Custard, it said. The filling was definitely more dense, not too sweet (a great thing), but also slightly grainy. I can't say they were eggy and they were far from the consistency of pudding. I'm thinking they might be ricotta based? The most loose "filling" we ate was probably the cannoli cream. Overall, I'm not sure exactly what I ate since they never really went the extra step or elaborated when I asked questions. Very to the point for a group of teenagers who were behind the counter. They were nice? But sort of uninterested. They seemed a little more enthusiastic about the other family. Oh yes. I also ordered a coffee for my husband... which wasn't rung up. I went back wondering where it was and it turns out it was forgotten about but we did eventually get it. He got a large and it is a HUGE cup. So... the goodies were pretty good. I was surprised in several ways - the fact I'm not too sure what I ordered and that they were perfectly sweet. But I found service lacking a bit. I will likely go back again if I'm in the area but I'd probably be just as clueless. We would have tried the goodies there and stayed longer but one of my kids has multiple food allergies and the place doesn't seem great for that (or for non-regulars) so we ate them later when our kid could have something as well. The pastries ended up being about $4-5 each and the cupcake was $4.50 - so the total adds up FAST. There is an automatic 3.75% service charge that was added on... not sure what that's about? The total was about $40 at the end, not including tip. My rating is a 3 because though I generally enjoyed the treats I got, I have mixed feelings due to the experience on this first visit as a whole. I'm hoping my future visits will be better.
