Irish Cream Latte
Patricia K.

I work from home and wanted the coffee experience even though I couldn't sit in a cafe. This truck is less than 10 minutes from my house and parked by a local church. They have a decent set of options including seasonal lattes, traditional coffees, pastries and teas. I decided to try the Irish Cream Latte and was not disappointed. You can definitely taste the difference in quality with Godwit and I appreciated it didn't taste overly sweet like other lattes I had. I liked it so much that I went back again later in the week to try the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte, which was also very good! You even have the option to buy their ground coffee to have at home. Prices are similar to most coffee spots (5.86 for each latte) but I also feel that you're paying for good quality and service by coming here. Highly recommend Godwit if you're nearby!

5 stars for their iced latte and iced chai latte. Tucked in a parking lot along a Main Street in Scotch Plains, this cute trailer delivers a great cups of chai and espresso. I got the iced latte, regular milk, no syrup ($5) and an iced chai latte as well ($5.25) In a world where most regular lattes and drinks can cost upwards of $6, that $1 difference and being a great drink makes a difference. Espresso-milk-ice ratio is great, bold and creamy at the same time. Syrups and milk alternatives are available for $0.50. Service was friendly, Apple Pay is available, parking is at a parking lot so no worries there. When it is raining they have a little tent where you can wait for your order.

What's not to love about a little coffee truck parked in front of a local church? While the truck itself is small, the drinks they turn out are flavorful. I ordered a cold brew with pumpkin syrup and oat milk. It was coffee and pumpkin forward with a nice twang of coffee goodness. The barista that took my order was attentive but was neutral when it comes to hospitality. Either way, there's plenty of parking, a small tent is pitched with a table underneath. They take cash or cards and it's in a convenient location, as it's on the way to Westfield and Scotch Plains. I'll be back.

Nothing bad to say about their coffee, it's a two person run little cart on the side of the road in front of a church. They have a couple of tables under a tent to sit in if you wish, which was super cute. We ordered an iced americano and an iced oat milk latte, which came out relatively quickly. They did take a bit longer for other specialty lattes, I noticed. They had a few pastries on display and their variety of roasted beans. I only wish that they had the roasted on date on the bags.

Excellent small batch coffee, friendly service from cute trailer roadside in Scotch Plains. It is located on main Street adjacent to parking lot. We went on a weekday morning , parked in the lot and enjoyed our coffee sitting in tent setup in the parking lot with 2 tables and few chairs. They also offer some pastries from a local bakery and coffee beans/ground to take home.

Still serving, despite the icy conditions!

Excellent small batch roasted coffee, I love stopping by here for a drink and a snack as well as the bags of coffee.

The brown sugar iced lattes were fantastic! Brief wait in our own private room right off the barista station. Will definitely return!

Service is good, coffee is not strong enough for me. It was a roadside trailer. The coffee was expensive.

The portions are fairly large and a good value for the price. The Cubano is no exaggeration of a mammoth of a sandwich here. My photo is only of half of it. The service is a tad on the slow side, but it's a good sign as it only means everything is fresh and made to order. The owners are extremely friendly and you could tell through interactions that they truly care about the customer experience as well as the quality of their product. As this is a food truck and therefore a mobile restaurant, the schedule, location, and menu can be found on their Facebook page.

The steak sandwich was delicious, exact flavors I expected and packed perfectly. The ham croquettes side dish caught my eye so I figured I'd give those a shot. $2 and they were so well made and fried perfectly, not burnt at all and the filing was delicious. The food would be 5 stars here, I only rated a 3 because the guy who took my order was short with me and was not friendly at all. I was the only one there too. It's a shame because the food was so good. Didn't have the best greeting but then as I was waiting for the food, posting up pictures of the truck and menu to Yelp it seems I couldn't hear him from the table on the other side of the truck so another customer told me my order was done. As I was coming up he was making a comment to the other customer about how he only has a cellphone for the business for that reason. Rude. Dude, I was on my phone posting up pictures for YOUR business! Definitely didn't like that.

It's a breath of fresh air to find places using real ingredients with a distinct flavor & charging under $10 each. Since I was starving I picked up 3 sandwiches: 1.) Brie - While quite good this was my least favorite. The brie & apple slices didn't pop out as much I wanted, but it still was satisfying. 2.) Stone Pony - Whoah! This is praise worthy. Roast beef was tasty & the caramelized onions & aioli horseradish are great additions to the flavor. 3.) Big Tex - This was my absolute favorite. If you have a hunger that needs to be quenched this is the sandwich to do it. The mac n cheese, bacon, & roast beef were on point. It mentions there is BBQ sauce, but I don't recall tasting it. Either way it wasn't overpowering as I'm not the biggest BBQ sauce fan & the sandwich stands on it's own with or without it Their sandwiches are perfectly portioned so you're not getting too little or too much. Their Staff was very friendly, there's seating outside, it's located next to a park and a bike trail, & there's actually a lot of parking despite it being a tiny shack. It's perfectly located & optimized if you like to grab & go or sit & chill. Kudos to these guys. Definitely worth going to over & over.

I come here only on Sunday mornings and often, when there is usually no line. For two years I have been doing this , I have received ZERO eye contact, no warmth, no engagement from this shift's crew--until today. That's why it mattered when one Asian barista this morning (who wasn't the one to take my order) warmly looked at me, smiled, and said something kind. It came right after her coworker placed my drink down, mumbled my name, and they turned their back on me when I thanked them -- but weren't doing anything else! Same energy when they took my order minutes earlier even when I was the only person in line. Like I owe them a favor for being at their counter! I've watched them and their colleagues treat me this way consistently. Mind you, I either only order a latte, a matcha, or a pastry. The worst part is that this treatment feels selective. I''ve seen this same crew be friendly, laugh, and engage with other customers--but from what I've seen for 2 years is that it seems only a certain type of walk-in gets this reception. It suck's to be flatly received and then notice the person behind me get a smile and a conversation, even if it's obvious that they're not a regular here ... at least not on Sundays. :) Again, thank you to that barista who broke the pattern for me today because I finally felt seen. I added a 3rd star out of gratitude. :) If you've found this crew non-selectively friendly, I'd genuinely like to know what day you come--because my Sunday morning experience has been consistently selective. I choose to be optimistic. And to management, let's talk about this.
