This truck was at the Monmouth Food Truck festival and amongst all the other trucks that were there, though lots sounded good, this one immediately got my attention with it's menu and it's black truck with neon lettering and font. Firstly, I gotta give credit to the young lady who took my order. She was very pleasant, patient and informative about the order that I placed. Made me feel like I was ordering at a good restaurant. It's nice to see that carry over looking up into a food truck to order some food. The food though boy oh boy. What drew me as I mentioned was the menu which had several good sounding burgers, but the one that I knew I had to have was the Pulled pork burger. Two of my favorite things in one, how I could I lose? I didn't. It was so good, I wish I could call them up and get one whenever I felt the need to have one. Best burger I've had in 2020! I'm lucky that their truck stops by Lyndhurst every few weeks. I grabbed my first burger here on my bday and been coming back since. I wish they would stop by the Union at Lyndhurst more often. It's hard to track where their truck is going when I get a craving for Good Mood Good Food burgers. I know it's a small detail but I love how they stamp their little logo on the burger buns. Little decorations go a long way for me lol. Our apt building in Jersey City has been kind enough to facilitate contactless food trucks on Saturdays for the residents during our Stay at home Order. Today was Good Food = Good Mood, and omg it was great. Our food was ready fairly quickly super hot when we got it. I noticed that our burgers were missing the bacon so I ran back downstairs hoping to catch them before they left. They were super kind and apologetic in regard to the oversight and gave us some free drinks. This gave them bonus points with me before I even too my first bite. *Takes a bite* I lie to you not, my fiancé said wow about 5 times while eating his burger. I've passed this truck several times at festivals, thinking "well it's just burgers, so let me try the other trucks." So after seeing previews of the food at Branchburg, I realized that I've been missing out all this time. The fried avocados looked amazing so I decided to economize by throwing them on a burger. Hipsters rejoice: the avocado BLT is a great sandwich idea! Unfortunately the avo gets a bit smooshed between all those other ingredients, but it totally works. The burger was good, but it was done more than I like. Went to the food truck on Pier 13 and got the Truffle Burger with a side of truffle fries!! Amazing!! The burger was juicy and flavorful, the Parmesan cheese gave it such a great taste along with the truffle spread. The fries were crispy and so good that I went back and got a second order of fries. Absolutely LOVE the new rotation of food trucks at the Porch at 30th Street Station and I was lucky that my first April stop was here at Good Mood Food Truck. They have a pretty varied menu, with all types of tasty sounding stuffed burgers, avocado fries, parmesan truffle fries, tacos, and lots of sides and good good served with aioli. Having to try tacos every where I visit, I opted for one each of the BBQ pulled pork taco and the crispy avocado taco. Most places don't let you mix and match, so that was a nice touch. Plus, 2 loaded tacos came to $8.50, which isn't bad. Both were fantastic and filling. The BBQ sauce on the pulled pork was heavenly, the toppings were just enough, the aioli brought it all together and the flour tortilla was fresh, warm and didn't fall apart. Same goes for the fried avocado taco - let's just say I'm generally hesitant about deep frying things that are meant to stay fresh, but holy hell did this sway me. Abso-effin-lutely delicious - next time I'm just ordering the avocado fries with the dipping sauce for lunch. The woman who took my order was super friendly and they also take debit, which is great. Caught this truck at the Rock Carnival in Lakewood NJ on 10/1 & it was GREAT! Had one of their stuffed burgers that had a thick slice of bacon & a fried egg on top & it was INCREDIBLE! One of the best burgers I've ever had. Also had the rice arrancini & they were damn good too. My job has food trucks come every Friday. I yelped so that I can decide which truck I was going to. I chose this on because of the amazing reviews that were given. I wanted to get a Jersey burger, which consisted of Jersey Burger - Grass fed beef, pork roll, fried egg and cheese, unfortunately they did not have it on the menu. I went with the avocado tacos. They are pretty good. I like the hint of spiciness to it, the chives, and the avocado was not too shabby. I am debating on going back and grabbing the burger just to try it! I tried them for the first time today during the Woodbridge food truck festival and it was utterly delicious. I was honestly impressed by the quality of their food. In my opinion they are above par to gourmet luxury burger places. You can tell from your first bite that they use quality clean ingredients. You can tell that the ingredients they use are "clean " or wholesome because You don't feel lethargic or nauseous after eating it like you would with Burger King or McDonald's. I ordered their pulled pork burger and it was absolutely delicious. I love how their bun has their logo on it. The food presentation is very aesthetically pleasing. When your ready to pick up your order they call you by your name which I thought was a nice personalized touch. The food is fresh, they have grass fed beef, they make an awesome rendition of the Juicy Lucy originated in Minneapolis, where the cheese is on the inside of the burger just waiting to melt out with your first bite.
