Vanilla macaron, rose macaron, and pain au chocolat
Carrie D.

The cutest little sweet shop ever. It was packed when we entered, but a table soon freed up and we were able to snag it without issue. We had a seasonal quiche (mushroom and goat cheese), lemonade, pain au chocolat, a rose macaron, and a vanilla macaron. And the macarons are not overrated! They're delicious and well deserving of their reputation.

I ordered an iced matcha with oat milk and got 2 of the chocolate vegan macarons. The matcha was not my favorite... I'm pretty particular when it comes to the rich flavor and coloring of my matchas and this didn't hit the mark for me. I couldn't taste the matcha at all, so it felt like I was drinking iced oat milk. I will say that it was nice to sit for a bit after doing a lot of walking and shopping in the area. The interior is really cute and there's some indoor and outdoor seating. Staff is also very friendly and were quick to tidy up the space after customers left.

Some of the best macarons you'll have! They have a great variety of flavors, but I like to stick to my classic order of the chocolate (my fav), salted caramel, and rose. My family and I frequent this location whenever we visit New York and always have the best experience. Service is always fantastic and it's just a beautiful patisserie that I highly recommend you visit. Even the macrons, pastries, etc. are all displayed in such a pretty manner! Though the seating area is very small, by the time you order and receive your items, there's often an empty table. The only thing to look out for is that the bakery itself is generally small as well, so it can get quite crowded, especially as you wait in line (which there often are). On my next visit I hope to try their new specialty drinks - they look stunning and a couple sitting next to us raved about how much they liked their drinks!

Recently visited this bakery in New York ... Very near to Central Park and has several locations Ladurée is a famous French luxury bakery and tea room known for its macarons, high tea, and elegant decor. Ladurée offers a wide range of unique classic and seasonal macaron flavors

Well, getting an early reservation, nay any reservation, at the Frick Café is a tough as, well, seeing the fabulous Frick without the crowds. So, just a mere block away, is Ladurée with a delicious turkey club on croissant and the very nice salmon (which you should allow to warm up a bit). Excellent coffee and of course desserts. Very nice service and have fun practicing your Franglais. Rather limited seating but you'll have a better experience if you can sit down to fully enjoy the not too expensive experience. Merci.

This was a cute bakery in upper east side with a few tables on the side. Took a while for someone to take our order and I couldn't get their attention when I wanted an additional item unfortunately. Everything looked delicious but we only got a pistachio Eugenie for a sweet. I liked the three different textures in the small biscuit cookie, but I didn't like the vanilla flavor at the bottom as much. The pistachio itself was great though. The quiche was pretty hearty, but it didn't stand out from a typical quiche. I would come back for their famous macarons next time.

Laduree does not have as many creative macaron flavors in the winter time, but I still like this location quite a bit. It's open earlier than other locations (at 8AM) so I like to grab a coffee, a pastry, and a macaron or two and relax at a corner table on the velvety bench before starting my day. The Parisian orchestral music is very relaxing -- sometimes maybe even more relaxing than some cafes in Paris and without all the cigarette smoke. Right now, they have a seasonal cherry blossom latte (without espresso though), so you can pick up a warm cup and stroll through the cherry blossoms at Central Park.

Gorgeous little French cafe right on UES. The decor the savories and the whole experience is awesome. Seating is limited, but it is nice to relax for coffee or tea and catch up with friends. Their desserts are simply another experience. The chocolates, the Macaroons were rich and flavorful. I wanted to try their tea as well, which is all a blend of different flavors and they carry their own brand. Try this place if you are in that area.

I was here to purchase a gift for a dear friend, and Tatiana was so helpful and wrapped everything up beautifully for me. Very grateful to her amazing service and can't wait to come back!

Plaisir sucre, delicious!

It had been many years since we had any macarons from Ladurée and we were lucky enough to visit this location on our last trip to the city. It was a chilly night, so we got two hot drinks and a couple of pastries and they were all delicious; the plaisir sucre in particular was out of this world amazing. They were all out of macarons by the time we were there, but we got a dozen eugénie cookies and brought them home. We had never tried any eugénies before and they are just as tasty as the macarons; they have a variety of textures and flavors and are really flavor-packed and worth the money. It's a great shop and we'll always stop in when we see a Ladurée!

Corner seat with my chai latte (yummy) and my rose croissant (so flaky and tasty). They served it on this pretty dish!

Lovely and friendly staff. The menu, while limited (wish there were more savory options), was fresh and delicious. The area was smaller than I expected. However, I was never rushed. Soft lighting, pretty corner of classic Ladurée decor, this is a nice spot for a pause, a quick bite and of course, to buy their tasty macarons!

MAC GREY EARL a must!

The coffee was pure deliciousness! The pastries delicious. The grey earl macaroon is a must! Definitely recommend to stop by on your way to The Met.

Wow, what an amazing little shop. Not only were the treats exploding with flavor and so delicious. They weren't too sweet, but they just had such good flavor! The service was outstanding, and the line moved pretty quick as well. Coffee was good too! Such a cool inside & great ambience! Super friendly staff!

Does the rose latte come in decaf as well?

Does anyone have Laudrée's dine in menu?

I just posted it

Are the macaroons made in ny or flown in from Paris?? If not from Paris it's not the same!

The macarons at Ladurée (either Paris or any other store around the world) are actually not made fresh in store. All of their macarons are preassembled across factories in Switzerland, frozen, and then shipped across the world.

Is there an outdoor area?

Technically yes, but it's more like 3 small tables for you to sit at and enjoy your sweets outside. :)

Is there an alternative way to contact the store outside of the telephone 📞(& going personally to the store)? Have been calling to place an order but no one answers or returns voicemails.

I've unfortunately encountered similar issues with this store, and it's extremely frustrating. I've called the Soho store complaining before (they're a LITTLE more responsive) and asked them to leave a message with the Madison store to call me back,… Read more

The inside is nice too but feels a bit stuffy. The croque Madame which is made with turkey and not ham which was super lucky for me was absolutely delicious. And even though it looks small on the plate it was very filling. The eggs was also perfect. The macarons were absolutely delicious. However for $5 for one you would expect less cracks. Service was also great. If you're looking for a high end brunch experience I would definitely recommend.

This place is known for their macarons, I do not eat them but this location has a full on menu. I had a latte which comes with the Laduree logo on top and the latte was very good. Honestly, better than my meal. Which, by the way if you want to dine in it's a $35.00 min per person per table. Before I read this I was just thinking about going ti get a coffee and sit in the outside garden area. I was wrong. I ended up getting eggs Benedict with bacon. It came on a brioche bread which, I never had before. Usually, this dish comes on an english muffin. It was good and had the sauce on the side. The eggs itself come as two legit hard boiled eggs on top which, I had never seen before. Was it worth the price...ehh not really, but did have a nice waiter who took my allergies seriously and wrote them all down. Yes, I am glad I came to check it out, do I need to come back here though not really, unless I came for like a tea with some friends than maybe we would see.

3.5 stars overall…read more We got chocolates, macrons, and truffles from this spot and they are delicious Their macrons are delicious, but they are on the sweeter side. I deducted one star as a few of the macrons tasted very similar to each other and didn't stand out plus they were on the soft side, there wasn't a slight crispy to the outer shell. Though there were 2 that i absolutely loved given the fresh flavor profile. Their truffles are great as I tried both the dark chocolate mousse truffles, they are coated in cocoa powder and are absolutely divine melt in your mouth truffle. I Loved it since I love dark chocolates, like i don't touch milk or white chocolate (of course white chocolate is pure sugar, that's another topic); these chocolates are definitely an indulgence, rich, super sweet, and diverse flavors (has hazelnut praline, pistachio, almond, ganache with lemon zest, the 100% cocoa ganache and so much more). This was definitely super rich and the sweetest dark chocolates I have ever had so it doesn't feel too much like dark chocolate (the two kinds in the box of 24 or so were good but the rest on the sweet side). Minus half a star for this Can't comment on the service or the ambience given I haven't been to the location, but I would love to stop by and check this spot out in the future especially for their dark chocolate truffles as those were the best among anything else I tried and would try them again
