Adorable serene patio garden escape in the heart of the bustling soho. This closed off back patio covered in shady plants is the perfect place to spend a summer afternoon. It feels like you're in another country. The food is surprisingly really good and indulgent. I didn't expect the food to be as good as the pastries. The croissants and macaroons were great as I would expect. The lattes are amazing. The cherry latter with a shot of espresso was so delicious and not too sweet! Everyone was so kind and gave great recommendations. They spoke French even!

Went for lunch and sat in the outdoor patio. The setting was beautiful and the weather was perfect. We were sat at a table right next to a tree and the grate around the tree made it a bit difficult to move my chair. The food was delicious. I had a quiche Lorraine and a side salad. It was very tasty. There was a minimum spend of $35 per person on the weekends and Fridays ($25 during the week). But, we had no problem hitting that because the dishes and drinks were a bit pricey. The service was good. There were several different servers who helped us. The food took a while to get to us. Patience is the key. We weren't in a rush and had plenty of time to sit, but if you want something quick, this might not be the ideal place for you.

I was in a business trip in New York and Ladurée was one of the places I had to stop by and grab some macaroons to take home. Since I was staying in the SoHo area, I decided to visit this location. The cafe is cute and spacious. The employees were friendly. I went home a happy girl!

If you're craving a Parisian escape in the middle of bustling Soho, Ladurée is the place. The pastry counter at the entrance draws you in with elegant macarons, but walk through, and you'll find a Rococo-style tearoom that feels straight out of Rimbaud and Flaubert's Paris. The real hidden gem is the private garden in the back, which we had a lovely view of from our table. Since there was literally snow on the ground, we opted to stay inside, but I'd love to return when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. I came here with a semi-large group for a celebration, and while the afternoon tea spread was beautifully presented, the service felt a bit disorganized. They kept mixing things up & clearing items before we were finished, which made the experience feel a little all over the place. That said, they did offer flutes of non-alcoholic champagne with rose petals, which was a nice touch (though I stuck with my green tea). The food was well-executed, featuring classic French treats like iconic macarons, buttery croissant sandwiches, and delicate pastries. Ladurée nails the atmosphere & presentation, making it a great spot for afternoon tea, a special occasion, or a charming escape from the chaos of Soho. While the service could be smoother, the gorgeous setting & indulgent treats more than make up for it.

I've always walked passed this pastry shop and look in a wanted to try it but for some reason (which I found out after) they were always booked and busy! So for my bday I got invited to go here by a total stranger because we had the same bday. Yep Anyhow I went with her and her friends and it was awesome. Had a variety of macaroons which are my absolute favorite. Inside is so dreamy and elegant. It's like walking out of the city into a fairytale world! We even ate our macaroons with knife and fork! Haha we didn't really have to but they had different sizes and we were given knife and forks so why not! We only went for their macaroons and got some other desert. We had a wonderful time. Service and wait time was great.

Where do I even begin, just walking in and seeing the bakery area with delicious options and holiday special items and drinks! I just wanted to buy everything! I was upset they were sold out Salted Carmel macaroons but I'll definitely order some online. We did some shopping in the bakery area as we awaited our whole party for our dinner reservations. The staff at the front were very patient with us kind. As our whole party of 5 arrived for our z4 pm reservations we were seated by whom it seemed to be the head hostess or maybe a manager. We were seated in the back room closet to the garden area which should have been lovely to sit outside but it was too cold so I'll definitely be back to sit outside. The waiter was a male who explained the menu and specials. He was very nice, the food came and was delicious and we enjoyed every aspect of the birthday dinner for my aunt. I am happy she picked this restaurant since I never been and it was absolutely beautiful!! I felt as if I were in France.

Macaroon, first attempt to eat. The teeth indents are as shown.

Came here a day ago, unimpressive outside, but fancy interior with an elegant atmosphere and beautiful treats. Sorry to say that's where the positives end. The waitress/service was alright, but she brazenly sold me macaroons that were so hard that it left teeth indents on its products (that photo was my unsuccessful attempt to eat one). As soon as I bit into one, the back completely fell apart, revealing the staleness and age. I also bought other treats of its type, but they were of varying hardness and staleness that I was concerned that ingesting them would make me ill. I've eaten soft, pillowy macaroons from other establishments but in this case it was a horrible and nauseating experience. While the hot chocolate was decent, that did not assuage the pain of wasting roughly $50 for what should have been a respectable gift and time of cheer. My experience, so close to Christmas, was a miserable one. Needless to say, I won't be back.

Literally the best macaroons ever, sooo soft and fresh. Love the variety of flavors as well! Rose and pistachio were the absolute best. Some of the more unique tea or citrus ones were also very surprisingly good. The classic chocolate sadly wasn't the best but overall still amazing. I'm hesitant to give between 4 and 5 stars because although the macaroons were amazing, the seating is sooo limited and not the most comfy. It wasn't too clean as it's not clean between guests since seats are so in demand and overall was anything but elevating the experience. More seating can be unlocked inside but you need to spend minimum per person which was like a whole meal which didn't seem very customer friendly to those who just wanted quick bites. However decor and vibes were to be expected, amazing everywhere. Just have to fix seating situation for the perfect experience. Or just take out if you're fine with eating on the go.

    Just a little treat!

A taste of Paris in SoHo. Wonderful selection of classic French pastries and teas. The perfect stop for a quick refresher during an intense day of shopping. Always attentive and welcoming. The setting is so Parisian!

Ladurée was too fully booked that we could only secured a reservation in early May. Apparently all the cherry blossoms were gone. It was still nice to sit in the backyard surrounded by the greenery. We thought the cakes were standard and nothing mind-blowing. The lemon tart with meringue was pretty refreshing as a summer treat. Ladurée macarons are well known for a good reason -- they weren't too sweet, and we could clearly distinguish the flavor differences. Our faves are orange blossoms and rose. While we 100% enjoyed our girls' chat at the cafe, we both found the service was inattentive even during non peak hour. It took us forever to wait for the servers to come and take our order. Expect spending at least 2 hours there for the slow service. They were at first reluctant to offer us a backyard seat, and even forgot about my friend's well-planned birthday surprise, which she has specified in th. Luckily they gave us extra free macarons with birthday candle as compensation.

Recently, I visited Ladurée for a late-day birthday brunch and overall had a nice time. The service was excellent, but since it was closer to the end of brunch time, the kitchen was about to close. Something to be mindful of if you're planning a late brunch. However, even when the kitchen is closed, you can still order desserts and drinks from the bar. For my entree, I had the vegetarian omelette with goat cheese and spinach, accompanied by a side of truffle fries. The egg was a bit underwhelming, but the truffle fries made up for the meal in both portion and flavor. Despite not loving the omelette, they were very accommodating with customizations. To drink, I had the garden spritz, which is predictable for me given that I tend to go for what seems most balanced on the menu. I also tried the Royale Ladurée because I was still coming down from the New Year sparkling wine life! Both were delicious but not particularly noteworthy. The highlight of the experience was definitely the dessert. The tart Citron packed great flavors and textures, and the meringue was just the right amount to complement the citrus flavors. I would come back to try their tea service and for dessert.

Macarons - a little worse for wear after a day carried around in my bag, but still tasted great :)

The famous Ladurée macarons. I remember when they first opened a store in NY on Madison Ave about 10 years ago when the macaron craze hit NYC. Everyone was clamoring for them. I ate my fair share back then and hadn't had their macarons in several years. This time trying them again I do still appreciate the consistency of the delicate shell and the varied fruit or other sweet jammy or creamy concoctions sandwiched in the middle. They carry and are most well known for classic flavors--think pistachio, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, strawberry, lemon and the like. These are good, though from a creativity standpoint they add variety by carrying seasonal flavors, which to me are more compelling. The part I'm not particularly thrilled about is that none of the macarons are made fresh in store. There was an article a while back that uncovered how all the non-French locations get macaron components made in Switzerland and frozen then shipped to the other countries. This is a bit sad considering how lovely they are fresh. I've tried a few of their house blend teas and find them a bit on the perfumey side. Maybe I'm not used to the stronger fragrances since I'm more of a herbal and Asian tea drinker--think more green, floral or earthy, rather than the heightened floral notes of Ladurée's tea blends. This location is quite nice, like all Ladurée outposts decorated to look fancy and elegant in a 19th century Parisian aristocratic kind of way. Worth checking out if you want to do a nice brunch lunch or dessert stop. I haven't tried the food or other desserts personally though they look worth checking out. The outside seating areas are designed beautifully and seem like an enjoyable place to spend an afternoon.

I have been on a French food streak recently and so this place is a must visit for delicious Parisian sweets. The inside is opulently decorated! Marie Antoinette vibes and all the sweets to go with it. Desserts Passionfruit macaron: the burst of passion fruit is subtle but not too much. This was pretty good! Marie Antoinette flavor they have is very earl grey like and maybe a tad more flowery. Pistachio macaron : I loved this! 10/10 almond taste is nice and highly recommend if you like almond! Citron tart was decent and I ordered this since I like citron flavored desserts. Isapan is so good! Comes with raspberries that are fresh and plump. The center is a bit chilled with lychees. Looks absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend. The service is based on ordering at the counter. It was nice and casual. It's definitely a chill type of place where the pace is gradual as you soak in the surroundings. Ambiance is so old french. Love it.

You will have to go to their website and choose the location.

Is the outdoor seating area heated, would it be warm enough to out there during February?

It's not heated very well (if at all) from what I recall. You'd have to sit bundled up to be warm.

What time do they close? Is it that hard to update your hours?

Hi Sera, looks like they have updated hours at https://www.laduree.us/locations.

Do you need to make a reservation?

They take walk ups but typically they are booked for the day so I would recommend making a reservation. We tried to get a table for lunch 2 days in a row (midweek) and both times they were completely booked for the day

    per person!

Do you have to buy a gift box in order to buy macrons or if you just order some they'll just give you a box?

If you want a gift box, you need to order one of their gift boxes! For example, they have gift boxes of 6 macaroons, 8 macaroons, etc. but if you're just ordering 1-4 macaroons they'll just put them in a paper bag and give it to you.

Does this location have any of the macaroon keychains for sale and if so how much are they?

Yes. They have 4 colors to choose. It's $55 each

3.5 stars overall…read more We got chocolates, macrons, and truffles from this spot and they are delicious Their macrons are delicious, but they are on the sweeter side. I deducted one star as a few of the macrons tasted very similar to each other and didn't stand out plus they were on the soft side, there wasn't a slight crispy to the outer shell. Though there were 2 that i absolutely loved given the fresh flavor profile. Their truffles are great as I tried both the dark chocolate mousse truffles, they are coated in cocoa powder and are absolutely divine melt in your mouth truffle. I Loved it since I love dark chocolates, like i don't touch milk or white chocolate (of course white chocolate is pure sugar, that's another topic); these chocolates are definitely an indulgence, rich, super sweet, and diverse flavors (has hazelnut praline, pistachio, almond, ganache with lemon zest, the 100% cocoa ganache and so much more). This was definitely super rich and the sweetest dark chocolates I have ever had so it doesn't feel too much like dark chocolate (the two kinds in the box of 24 or so were good but the rest on the sweet side). Minus half a star for this Can't comment on the service or the ambience given I haven't been to the location, but I would love to stop by and check this spot out in the future especially for their dark chocolate truffles as those were the best among anything else I tried and would try them again
