    Raspberry rugelach

I finally got a chance to try the rainbow cake and some other goodies and I'm so glad I did! Raspberry + apricot rugelachs: awesome. They're like big fig newtons. Crumb cake: also awesome. Rainbow cake: this is the star of the show. Omg. This alone deserves a 5 star rating. Turnover: also yum. Sfogliatelle: this was my least favorite because it's kind of boring compared to the others, but still yummy. Service can be slow sometimes because there's usually only one person working.

Another place for coffee and sweets in Nolita. Cafe Belle is a small independent shop. It has quite a few good looking things to choose from, but some can get expensive though. High quality stuff and fresh. There's all kinds of cookies and pastries. Everything looks so good here. It also seems to be women owned. My boo and me checked it out one morning to get some coffee and pastries. Coffee is the main thing here to drink. It's about $3.50 for a latte. There's also many kinds of colorful cookies in the display case that we really wanted to try. Be careful. Some of these are very expensive. It's about $10 for a container of the vegan rainbow cookies. They look good and there's quite a few in the container but it's still more than a bit expensive. It also has a nice atmosphere. Lots of good sweets like cookies. They have some that are vegan and gluten free too.

This is such a charming little cafe!! The interior is very cute with about 6 tables. It has such a cozy vibe, especially with the Christmas decorations! The vanilla bean latte here was well made -- super smooth with great flavor. I also tried the florentine cookies which were new to me and really good. They're nutty and chocolatey, and were a great pairing with the latte. I thought prices here were pretty reasonable for a cute and high quality cafe/bakery in Nolita. Service was also great, very friendly and there were 2 people working so I didn't have to wait long at all.

Cute cafe in NYC where you can enjoy a fresh hot beverage and some goodies and more... Inside is tiny and elegant though they have a few tables outside where you can hang for a few minutes and enjoy. That's what I did. They are located right by the Old St. Patrick Cathedral/Basilica along a quiet street in Soho. I'd ordered a chai latte and was satisfied with it. I totally could taste the nutmeg and cinnamon as I was drinking it. And I had one of their almond horn cookie. Omg! It was yummy. I could literally taste the crunchy almond from the outside. Definitely chewy and gives a mild almond taste. These things can be additive. It's been a while since I scoped out a caffe in NYC. It was nice to see people slowly getting back into the new normal of life. Thank you for your services Cafe Belle!

Love their rainbow cake. Divine. Delicious. One of the best things in life.

Holy mother of everything tasty. Seriously. We went to a tour at the church right down the street (highly recommend). We walked past cafe belle on the way to the tour and I got good vibes. When the tour was done we stopped in for coffee and cake. It just so happened to be the best coffee we had during our 10 days in NYC and one of the best pieces of cake I have ever had. I got a pumpkin late that wasn't too sweet. But this cake definitely topped it all. We ate at some amazing restaurants, and this little cafe definitely stood out. I tried to find a recipe for this cake. I think it's specific to this cafe as I didn't find anything equivalent. HIGHLY recommend!!

Ordered some coffee cake and a pound of rainbow cookies for delivery. Can confirm that Cafe Belle makes the best rainbow cookies in NYC. Coffee cake was also excellent - so fluffy. Next time: I want to try the cannoli!

    Latte and spinach feta turnover

Happened upon this small cafe on a Saturday afternoon after getting off the subway. Cozy interior with a few tables inside as well as a bench outside. Many different pastries behind the glass as well as a rotating selection on the counter. Decided on the Latte ($4ish) to go along with a Spinach Feta Turnover ($4.50). Items were hot and ready after a few minutes. Coffee is thick and strong, not needing any extra sugar. The turnover is on the dense side but the spinach and feta combo is nice. Only one person working the place but she was able to accommodate everyone without any issues. Fine enough stop for a quick breakfast.

CAFE BELLE IS THE PLACE TO BE If you are coming to Manhattan, and you are looking for a small cozy place, with great coffee, where you can sit down with a friend (or even by yourself), definitely come here. Whenever I come to this cafe, my mind completely goes blank and I never know what I want. But no fear, the ladies are super sweet and if you just tell them what you're craving for, they know how to suggest the perfect pastry for you; even if it's something tiny like a cookie or something filling like their NUTELLA CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD! Yes, they don't allow computers on the weekend; and that can be a bummer for some people, but I think that's perfect because it gives everyone a chance to catch a seat. (Especially for someone like me who works in front of a computer on a daily basis and could use a break from so much screen time). So if you're ready for some delicious, creamy espresso and some REAL AUTHENTIC Italian pastries, pop in to Cafe Belle you won't regret it

They have vegan rainbow cookies!!! A whole box of 10 is $12. They don't have it all the time but the day I was there they did. They are delicious! So happy to have this option in the city.

    Baby Shower Cake
    Shari B.

Cafe Belle just made my daughter's baby shower complete with an absolutely gorgeous cake! Not only did the cake meet and exceed all of our expectations aesthetically but it was also absolutely scrumptious. The cake was moist and not overly sweet and the fillings were a divine combination of smooth, rich chocolate with a second layer of raspberry jam. Noelle also delivered the cake herself with plenty of time to set up. We also ordered cake pops and rainbow cookies to go along with the cake and they were wonderful as well. Thanks for helping make our baby shower a big hit! We will definitely go back to Cafe Belle!!

    1/2 lb Rainbow Cookie Box
    Alice K.

Popped into this place wandering the streets of NYC just looking for some water. After checking the reviews, I picked up a box of the rainbow cookie/cakes. These were delicious, one of the best and most unique desserts I tried in the city. The thin layer of jam between the colored cake tiers was a tasty touch. Also got an iced coffee, good and can't complain. There was only one barista and she was very slammed- when it got busy she handled it well! Definitely try this place if you are in the area looking for a unique yet lowkey NYC cafe experience.

    Meri K.

Cute for pastries and coffee. Smells fantastic inside, even though the desserts aren't made on premises. A few tables inside and maybe 1 outside in sidewalk. Has a loyalty program. Cute wallpaper!

Cute decor inside and outside of the cafe!

If you look at the mural behind the cash out point it gives you a little touch of history what once happened within these walls. I ordered the salmon toast. It was a little hard but I like the cream cheese was thinly spread not just thrown in like many places. The salmon was good and the mint tasted fresh. The capers were like slightly toasted and crispy, i've never had them like that before and I loved it. I think the toast was just missing a little drizzle of olive oil on top. To be honest, I think the capers were my favorite part. They were just this unique texture. I've never experienced before. I also got an iced lavender chai latte to go. It was so light and delightful, with the perfect blend of lavender. I really enjoyed this place and would totally come back again.

When you enter there is a bar you can sit at and two large high top tables next to it. As you walk further in there is a lounge with couches and various sizes tables. The whole space is surrounded by books! Heaven! We ordered a chai, matcha and a ginger cookie. Shout out to the woman taking my order for comping me my drink for my birthday! Everyone from the staff was friendly - I really enjoyed being there. The only thing I would say is someone should come by to check on the tables more often as I had to return other people's abandoned drinks. But you know what first world problems, am I right? Maybe they can have a sign or mention to customers to return their own cups before leaving. I sort of can't imagine why people don't... It is quite popular spot so you need to be very patient and strategic if you want to grab a table, as well as sprinkled with a little bit of luck. We unfortunately got there a little late. I went there at 3pm and hunted for a table and my friend got there by 330pm. By the time we ordered and started drinking our coffees - we were informed the lounge area will be closed at 4pm to prepare for the evening wine bar. Oh right this cafe turns into a wine bar in the evenings! How cool! At 4pm we thankfully grabbed one of the high tables - sharing it with another couple but it was large enough for the 4 of us. The lights dimmed and the atmosphere changed to more intimate. We unfortunately had to leave at 5pm, but I imagined picking up a James Baldwin book, ordering some white wine and enjoying both.... Thankfully the dining area was cooler than the waiting area. For food I got The Smash and added a poached egg. My bf got the breakfast burrito (he would have gotten the eggs Benedict, but it didn't look like they had Cholula). I had read reviews that this was the best avocado toast in NY, but it was maybe my least favorite of the few I tried! Could just be me, but it had more of an acidic flavor than I like. My last bite was also a mouthful of feta which I had thought was egg lol, it was honestly hard for me to get down. My bf's breakfast burrito was maybe the smallest he's ever had, but it tasted decent. 5/5 for service, and the ambiance (though hot) was cute. I'd be tempted to give them another try because of how good the reviews are, but I wouldn't get their avocado toast again.

The melon pieces were sweet, the ice is milk based so it was creamy and flavorful on its own. We barely used the condensed milk that it came with (and we loved how they put it on the side for us instead). At the bottom of the shaved ice was cereal pieces and mochi which gave a nice different texture. We also tried their drinks specifically their blue lemonade and mango-ade which I thought was just ok. The highlight is definitely their shaved ice. Definitely go for the large as the small seemed much smaller and for double the price, you can get almost 2-3x more.
