INSIDE A HIGH CLASS RESTAURNT IN LONG ISLAND, NY

delicious and good service, will recommand friends to go, the location is not far away from flushing, new york but you have to book a table before you go

8" Big Minnie Cake with vanilla cake and chocolate frosting.

We ordered with Cathy/Minnie's Bake Shop for a corporate birthday as we have many nut allergies in the office, and we were blown away with the quick service, taste of the cake, and how great it looked. They were able to deliver it to us when needed, and the fact that they guaranteed a nut-free cake was huge for us. We got the 8" Big Minnie cake and it was plenty for 15-20 people. We will definitely be ordering again.

I was at an event recently and they had an order of Minnie's and they were amazing! They were so cute and I loved the way they were decorated. The flavor combinations were also interesting and delicious. Each bite was moist and the icing/cupcake ratio was perfect.

I ordered the tower cake for a bridal shower. The cake was perfection! Working with Cathy was amazing. I highly recommend!

What can I say about Minnie's Bake Shop? Cathy is amazing!!! I have ordered several birthday cakes from her over the years & every time they're a hit at all my gatherings. She works with you directly to create a cake you're happy to present to your guest of honor. The Minnie Cakes have a variety of flavors and sizes to choose from, so you're bound to find a crowd pleaser. My personal favorite is the Paris Tea Cake and the great thing is that they're not too sweet! If you're looking for something special, she is happy to accommodate custom flavors. Her response time is top notch & is so personable! She also offers pick up & delivery options. Pricing is transparent & there are several payment options for you choose from. She makes ordering a special cake seamless and provides a cake that gets people asking "Where did you order this from?"

Forgive the photo quality, but here were the beautiful cakes Cathy provided for our wedding. We were SO thrilled with our choice.

We had Minnie's cakes at our wedding, and couldn't have been more thrilled with our choice. We wanted to serve our guests - who were coming from the U.K., Egypt, Germany and the West Coast - something sweet and truly delicious, ideally local, and budget friendly. Having tried a host of traditional tiered wedding cakes, which we mostly found to be quite dry and often extraordinarily expensive, we opted for cakes from Minnie's, which we'd had at a friend's birthday and LOVED. (I also thought the square shape of the Big Minnie's was chic and fresh, and the fact that the cakes had 'naked' edges with no icing: they were light, flavourful and not remotely cloying.) We got our florist to provide some edible flowers for the top, and cut one carrot cake and one pistachio cake on the day, with little Minnie cakes in chocolate chip and gluten-free salted caramel. Every single bite of every single cake was delicious, and our guests - all of whom have been to fancier weddings than ours - raved about how good they tasted (a host of them left our wedding with cake to go). Throughout the entire process, Cathy - Minnie's inimitable owner - was a joy to work with. She was responsive to emails, deliveries of both our test cakes and the wedding cakes were exactly on time, she gave truly great advice on flavours, and really looked after us in a way that made our day extra special. We would recommend these cakes, and particularly Cathy, to absolutely anyone without a moment's reservation. It was one of the great choices we made on our wedding day.

Awesome cake and great service!! We got the Triple chocolate and I love that there is the perfect amount of frosting and not overly sweet! Looks great!!

    Paris tea cake

There's literally no better cake in this city! Ever since I found Cathy's cakes, I've refused to buy any others. I've tried an assortment, including the Paris Tea Cake, the coconut, the carrot cake, the chocolate, the Meyer lemon, and the funfetti cakes. I've bought her full sized cakes, the Minnie's, and the cake cubes, so I've tried a good variety. Every single one hits the mark. By far, my favorite is the Paris tea cake. Cathy is also absolutely wonderful to work with when you're planning your cakes. She always goes above and beyond to make sure you get what you need. Love her! Further, her cakes are BEAUTIFUL! And they're huge! I've always gotten rave reviews and requests for repeats. Minnie's cakes will always be my go to for cakes

a piece of cake on a plate

This is the second cake I've ordered from Minnie's Bake Shop and it was even better than the first! Cathy, the owner, is an absolute pleasure to work with. I knew I wanted to incorporate blue into my custom funfetti 6 inch square cake, and Cathy helped me decide on the perfect shades of blue to use and it turned out amazing!! The blue & silver chocolate candies on top and the all-over glitter gave it a fun and celebratory look. The cake was delivered on time and Most importantly, the cakes from Minnie's are always SO DELICIOUS! Perfectly fresh and moist, I can't say enough good things about this business. Highly recommend!!

    banana chip is the best!

Minnie's Bake Shop produces insanely delicious, decadent, and fresh desserts! You can tell the owner Cathy puts a lot of passion and love into making every single item - just count all the dollops of icing for each of the cakes. Although I've tried all 3 items (classic cakes, whoopie pies, and the cookie sticks), my favorite by far is the classic cake. First let's talk about the icing - this isn't some light cheapo frosting. Maybe it's because I put it in the fridge for a while, but the frosting here is heavy and hearty yet incredibly fresh so you know it's made from premium ingredients. For the cake itself, I've had the strawberry and the banana ones, and both were super dense and moist. This isn't your typical cake from a random bakery or grocery store where it's spongy and light - this is some flavor packed and decadent cake, think the texture of a flourless chocolate torte. None of the treats are super sweet either. They're just the right level of sweetness balanced with the flavor intended. My favorite by far was the banana chip one. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a treat outside of the traditional cupcake or cookies. The owner Cathy is also super friendly and accommodating!

The Mango and Pistachio looked so realistic and mirrored the flavors perfectly. I love the size of their cakes which are perfect to share with a group of 4. I indulged in their Black Sesame Mochi Cake and Blueberry Chiffon Cake which both have the fluffiest sponge cake base, a fluffy vibrant cream, and fresh ingredients and fruit. Give their drinks a try too. I enjoy their matcha here! The Traffic Lights is a strawberry matcha with a mango cream top. And I also tried their Black Sesame Latte but substituted the espresso for matcha and loved this customized pairing. FYI, there is no bathroom!

Finally decided to try this place after walking by it for years. I refused to try this in the past,…read morebecause I didn't like how many items they put on display. It felt like items weren't made with care and mass produced at a factory or something. I went 10 minutes before they closed and there was still 10+ of each dessert. I'm not convinced that they will dispose of them. Even if they do, it means they didn't do a good job in forecasting demand especially after being in business for multiple years. I ordered mango and yuzu. Both were too sweet and had one dimensional flavor and textures, not refreshing per their stated flavors. Even if their appearances take effort, they don't look pretty enough for me to forgive what goes in my mouth. I'm used to having patisseries with many layers and elements. Mango's sponge probably only took up 20% of the bottom, because I barely had bites of it. Most of my bites didn't have any. I didn't like how liquid the filling was. It didn't exactly ooze out but just melted into a puddle in my mouth. Yuzu looks pretty with the pink and yellow glaze, but it didn't go with the realistic fruit theme. I chose it for the flavor combination which is strawberry, yuzu, and guava. This was slightly better in terms of flavor variety in the mouth. The flower on top had a weird off putting flavor. The bottom crispy rice apparently is supposed to be chocolate but it came out plain. It was tasteless anyway, so not effective in terms of flavor or texture.

I had to run to work after an appointment so I ordered for takeout. The person taking my order was friendly. I opted for the Lumberjack and a black cold brew. While waiting, one member of the staff stocking up supplies on the side started chatting with me and then she offered to check up on my sandwich. She came out with it shortly thereafter. She was very friendly and helpful. The sandwich held up well during my 15-minute commute to the office. It is a really indulgent sandwich, with each bite revealing the sweetness and butteriness of the maple crueller, the saltiness of the thick cut bacon, and the savoriness of the cheese and the eggs as the yolks popped. I sipped the cold brew in between bites to cut the richness. It was a very satisfying meal. The Lumberjack is not something I would recommend you eat every day, but it's good as an occasional treat. The store has two beautiful double doors that create such a grand entrance, and once inside, you immediately feel the energy. The place was bustling with people, and everyone seemed happy and excited -- from the customers to the team behind the counter and the baristas. The cookie case was overflowing with so many amazing choices that it was hard to decide! I ended up getting the Rocky Road cookie, a Double Chocolate Chip cookie, a Two Chip Chocolate Chip cookie, and a blueberry muffin to enjoy for breakfast the next morning. The service was absolutely impeccable, and everyone I interacted with was warm, friendly, and delightful. When I got home, I had half of the Rocky Road cookie with a cup of tea, and it was incredible. The cookie was large and chunky but still perfectly enjoyable -- not heavy or overwhelming. It literally melted in my mouth. The chocolate was rich and smooth, and every bite was just delicious. The next morning, I tried the blueberry muffin, and it was just as impressive. It was light and airy, not overly sweet like many blueberry muffins can be. It truly felt like a breakfast pastry. The blueberries tasted fresh and burst with flavor in every bite. I will definitely be back for more cookies. This was such a wonderful find, and I'm so happy my coworker introduced me to this place!
