Absolutely amazing! I scouted this place out before our trip to the city because I wanted a delicious cheesecake. Well I found this place and it didn't disappoint at all. When we went, it wasn't busy so we were greeted and helped immediately. The staff was nice and helpful despite what other reviews said. They have so many options of cheesecake flavors but I just wanted the plain. They also have other desserts and when I saw the cherry butter cookies I had to get some. Everything was delicious and it held up very well with our travel back to Koreatown area and the flight home to Florida. I have a core memory of cheesecake that was crust less from my childhood that my mom used to get and keep in the freezer. I've been searching for that unique flavor and this is it! I finally found it. They have seating where you can dine there as well as some tables outside. Very easy to find and beautiful building. Highly recommend!

I had a delivery order from this classic 125 year old Italian bakery. The cannolis were excellent...crispy shell, delicious generous filling, the ends dipped in pistachios. The Neapolitan biscotti's were a little different than plain ones but also very tasty. Packed in typical pastry boxes. Fast delivery. Highly recommended...especially for the terrific cannolis.

Best spot in the city, no doubt. You walk in and it has the old school Italian ambiance that you want...glass cases full of beautiful, ornate, delicious pastries, great service, and a vibe that lets you know right away why this was Frank Sinatra's (and many others) favorite spots. It's a must stop. More than that, your regular stop for pastries, or to hang out for coffee. Can't beat it.

Old establishment. I have been here multiple times before but I do not think I have left a review. The coffee is great. The pastries are on point. Their sugar-free cookies do not have a weird bitter aftertaste, which is welcoming. Service can be gruff or personable, depending on day and time. Place is clean and organized and nostalgic.

went on a Late Sunday afternoon to pick up some pastries & sweets Such a magical NY fixture !! .. we got a 6in NY Cheesecake, vanilla Lobster tail, a mini carrot cake & a mini Millifoglia .. the cream inside of the lobster tail & the millifoglia was amazing .. I loooved these sweets so much even though I hate powdered sugar !! the worker was very kind, patient and helpful ... It was very busy in the front with many people coming in for sweets of their own we did to Go but they also have seats in the back where you are waited on !!

They ha lot of desserts available and surrounded by old world charm they have earned for years! It's good for stopping by to have some coffee or hot chocolate some with alcohol in it and an array of Italian desserts. My favorite is aluminum. It has pistachio layer and the center with cherries and and a cream frosting outside. The size is also just enough for me. They also have my favorite Pinole nuts. Two things I love in this place. It is also across the bus stop on First Avenue. Or half a block down from Second Avenue if coming from the north.

Venieros Bakery on 11th street in the East village is a great place for pastries!!! The beautiful cakes and cookies are delicious too. The pink and green neon sign brings back memories of the lower east side from many years ago. They have tables to sit at and take out too. Excellent customer service open late till 10 and 11 pm. Please check it out!

Cannolis are amazing. Crispy on the outside and the filling is not too sweet. Friends got affogato and the colorful ice cream item and both enjoyed. The service is fast, there's a decent amount of space to sit in the back and there are endless cake, cookie and other dessert options to choose from. It's a must go when in the area and looking for dessert! Decent amount of space to sit and the interior is old school but cozy. Highly recommend

This is one of my favorite pastry & coffee shops in the city. I like the strawberry shortcake, apple pie, and chocolate covered strawberries. It's the perfect place for a nice coffee date. They keep the original vintage vibe alive, and you can feel the incredible history here, dating back over a hundred years. The food, drinks, and atmosphere are very authentic.

Came to Veniero's on a weekend night for dessert with a couple of friends. The line (for both seated tables and to-go orders) was out the door but it moved suprisingly quickly. The wait staff were very quick with ordering which allowed tables to turn over but there was never any pressure to finish quickly. We enjoyed our meals in the dining room in the back which has a nice old-school Italian vibe. - New York Cheesecake (4.5/5) - The classic cheesecake was definitely our favorite - Cookies and Cheese Cheesecake (3.5/5) - dry, wouldn't repeat - Tiramisu Cake (4/5) - Good, but would probably try actual tiramisu next time - Rainbow Cake (4/5) - not bad if you like rainbow cookies, but slightly dry Have been to Veniero's many times and there's truly something for everyone! Most times it's hard to narrow down what you want.

Great Italian bakery at popular location. Prompt service in this old world charm store. Amazing dessert options. When I want a special treat or gift this is where I go when in NYC!

This used to be my favorite Italian bakery. I haven't been to this bakery in years like ten years since I was a teenager. Today I decided to make a special trip to go here to grab a few goodies. I forgot how small the place was and how low the ceilings were. That wasn't an issue though. The place was nice and cakes were stacked neatly. What was surprising to me is that they don't have any cookies laid in the front display. It's all placed in the back almost hidden. I was deeply disappointed with their cookie selection. It was deeply surprising that they don't sell the butter cookies that had jam in the middle and dipped with chocolate on one side with sprinkles. I did ask the clerk and even showed him a pic of what I was looking for and he said they never sold them. They only had the linzer cookies and they didn't look so good. They also did not have the lobster tail. They did have the sfogliatelle which they also called a lobster tail. I thought they were not the same? Some bakeries sell both and they are definitely not the same. I did end up buying one of their sfogliatelle with cream and some rugelachs. The sfogliatelle was good but the rugelachs tasted slightly underbaked. It did taste fresh though unlike many I've had in other bakeries. However, for $28 per pound, I wouldn't get it again. For those not having lobster tail and not having the Italian cookies, I will have to give Veniero's a low rating. I never thought an Italian bakery would not carry staples. Very disappointed. I need to find another Italian bakery now.

I like the old style nature of Venieros. You can come in and they have a number of great desserts competing for your interest. From mini cheesecakes, tiramisus to cookies it's a vast array. You can dine in or take it to go. I ordered the mini cheesecake with berries. Service was quick and the staff pleasant. Venieros is open fairly late so your craving has time to be satisfied.

The menu has plenty of variety across pastas, seafood, and cocktails, with some unique dishes that made the experience memorable. The drinks were a highlight, and the seafood options stood out the most for me. My Tipsy Tayke: The Fragola Fizz was juicy, fruity, and refreshing. The Forever Summer was another standout, with the smokiness of the mezcal blending really well with the fruit flavors without overpowering them. Both are easy recommendations depending on whether you want something fruity or a little more complex. My Taysty Tayke: Get Down & Dirty, Expeditiously: Seafood Ravioli Unique, flavorful, and packed with different seafood flavors. The ravioli itself was delicate and had a tendency to fall apart, but the flavor made up for it. Standout: Calamari Crispy, seasoned, and enjoyable. It had a slightly chewy texture, but I still found myself going back for more. The Carpaccio wasn't necessarily for me texture-wise, but I really enjoyed the greens and dressing that accompanied it. The garnish felt intentional and helped bring the dish together. The Pappardelle came with plenty of sauce but could have used more flavor overall. The complimentary bread was also tougher and chewier than I prefer. Desserts: The Lemon Sorbet was easily my favorite dessert. Bright, refreshing, and packed with real lemon flavor. The Mango Sorbet was another refreshing option with a smooth tropical sweetness. The Panna Cotta Cheesecake leaned closer to a mousse in texture and was definitely on the sweeter side. I especially enjoyed it with the cherry, which helped balance everything out. Service: Warm and attentive throughout the meal, fitting the inviting atmosphere. Plates From My Visit: Calamari Carpaccio Seafood Ravioli Pappardelle Lemon Sorbet Mango Sorbet Panna Cotta Cheesecake Fragola Fizz Forever Summer In Conclusion: A warm Chelsea Italian spot with strong cocktails, unique seafood dishes, and refreshing desserts. The Seafood Ravioli was the highlight of the savory side, but whatever you do, save room for that Lemon Sorbet. Stamped by Elajas

When we entered the restaurant and took the elevator up to the restaurant, we were delighted to find free wine provided for us to pour in the elevator. Admittedly, it was red wine, so not my favorite, and it did taste cheap, but still appreciated. To start off, we ordered the onion torta, focaccia, and smashed potatoes. The onion torta was surprisingly good and tasted like a form of french onion soup. As a focaccia enthusiast, the focaccia was fluffy and delicious. We also got the charred beans, carrots, ravioli, tagliatelle, ravioli, and trout to share. The charred beans were surprisingly the long beans and not the smaller ones we expected. However, they were very juicy and better than we thought they would be. The rigatoni resembled cacio e pepe with its pepperiness, the tagliatelle tasted like standard red sauce, but i did enjoy the ravioli and the ricotta inside. For dessert, we had the basque cheesecake which was alright, but I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake. Overall, we had a great time at Ci Siamo and I would definitely recommend ordering the focaccia and onion torta and we could have skipped the carrots, beans, trout, and tagliatelle.

It was incredibly creamy and cheesy, with hints of fresh black pepper flavor that blew standard at-home black pepper grinders out of the water. Despite it being the simplest pasta of the night, I enjoyed it immensely. RIGATONI - 32 This pasta was simple yet slightly innovative, featuring sausage paired with a broccoli-based pesto. There was a slight bitterness that was polarizing among our group. While this wasn't my favorite pasta, I appreciated the creativity. PERCIATELLI NERO - 35 This dish packed in more components than just pasta and sauce: plenty of crab, tomatoes, and crispy breadcrumbs on top. However, the combination wasn't very memorable. None of the flavors really stood out, and it was my least favorite pasta of the night. It's obvious they use quality ingredients and the kitchen is technically very sound. The pasta in particular was cooked perfectly. Everything we had was good and well executed, but nothing really jumped out at me or felt especially memorable. There are several places around the city that I feel can deliver a similar meal and experience without quite as much hype. That's not to say I didn't enjoy L'Artusi, because I absolutely did. It just didn't separate itself from some of the other really good Italian restaurants I've visited. Service was great, the atmosphere was nice, and overall we had a very enjoyable dinner. Just one where my expectations may have been a little higher than the experience delivered.
