Stopped in for an iced latte. The staff were very nice & I saw a sign about a croissant iced latte so I was curious if it was its own flavor drink or what & the girl was very helpful & explained that it's just a croissant on top of any iced latte or matcha. I went with a tiramisu iced latte which was very good & topped with lady fingers which I used to dip in the drink & cream topping. Their desserts look very good too & I'll have to go back to try some.
I don't remember the names of these, they were from last week on vacation. One was a Nutella croissant, the other was a filled with a pistachio cream. Both very good, very rich. Definitely needed a drink with them but in a good way. Was good and would go again.
Pastries are fresh and delicious without being too sweet. Croissants are buttery and flakey -- yum! I loved the pistachio croissant, which is both filled and topped with the perfect amount of pistachio cream. Pro tip: stop by after seeing a show in the area for 1/2 off pastries (during their final hour of the day) and the perfect late night treat.
The is nice spot in New York. The cakes were so delicious in the window. When you walk by it made me stop. All of the cakes had filling inside. The pictures are a day later. We did a 1 day trip from Philadelphia. It was still some good.

You can say that we were craving pistachio flavored things because we got the pistachio bambalone, pinwheel and croissant. The bambalone was good - but wasn't for me. My partner enjoyed it a lot. If you like donuts, this is a stuffed soft donut essentially. The pinwheel was really good - crispy and stuffed with soft pistachio cream - a nice combination. The croissant was my favorite- perfectly flaky and full of pistachio cream. All in all - they all were pretty good. My only complaint is that the prices are higher than what we get out of it. The flavors are standard - but the prices are on par with trendy unique flavored desserts.
Recently stopped into Zeppola Bakery, as I walked home from work in the chilly January weather. I won't lie: I was as drawn in by the warmth of this establishment (both physically and vibe-wise), as I was their treats. Though those looked terrific, too. Their freshly made desserts successfully beckoned me inside. And once I went in and scoped out their offerings up close and personal, I was pretty blown away. Everything looked so thoughtfully crafted and amazing...enticing, really...as though IRL reality had a filter on it. Pretty much everything popped OUT, but I had to choose one or two items, so as not to go overboard. Well, I chose a delicious looking Italian doughnut with custard cream as well as an incredibly seductive chocolate almond cake (which is gluten free, btw). When I went home, I announced to my spouse that Valentine's Day came early this year, yipppeeee, and we dug into these good looking goodies. They were both exquisite, as was their customer care there (in the bakery); so, I/we would def return for more yumminess. Thank God for the Italians. Talk about window shopping done right. We admired Zeppola's window the day before and said, that's the place for a little pick-me-up tomorrow, and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect between-meals respite from the hustle and bustle of the holidays in NYC. Latte and espresso were absolutely on point, but oh, the sweets... the Nutella bomboloni and pistachio croissant truly hit the spot. Taking a load off our tired feet while snuggling into those warm delights was exactly what we needed.
I've been to this bakery on handful times and each time it never disappoints with the delicious and fresh baked goods they have available. Almost always there's a line inside and outside and rightly so because they have a great amount of baked items that are truly delicious. On my next visit to this bakery, I will try one of their coffees to go with a doughnut or a Bombolini, which is what I enjoy getting from this bakery. The space is accommodating and well lit, which is great to see when you're consuming their food.
Walking down from Times Square I noticed this little bakery walked over took a peek in the window called the wife and said what should I get? Are you up getting this chocolate dipped croissant, which was simply outstanding . I'm more of a standard cake donut type person, but this was different. It was really good. Very flaky. Done to perfection. The inside of this small bakery is immaculate. Everything is well presented. They even have small pizza and small sandwiches and everything looks amazing. Yes, indeed this is a must stop. It's down near 37th St.

To me it was a little overdone and too crispy for me but I understand that they have to cook it a little longer because of the filling.The inside was flaky and the filling was very flavorful.

Fantastic bakery with Italian influences. First time that I've seen a cannoli bar. My pastry was filled with a vanilla pudding, and it was very fresh, and the quality came through with every bite. The coffee was also delicious. Space to eat in is in the back. I loved the experience. Thank you for the welcoming hospitality.
A cute little bakery that serves delicious pastries! I came by on a Thursday morning and there was a small line. I tried the pistachio croissant and the spinach egg feta on croissant! Both were so delicious and airy! The staff are nice and there is seating at the back. I definitely need to come back to try more items.
Incredibly friendly staff and awesome selection. We got a few things. It was not crowded when we went in - around 9pm on a Saturday. So very quiet atmosphere. No line. The "funky" chocolate croissant was amazing. As was the chocolate cake. The chocolate chip cookie made it 3 for 3! Highly recommend!! read more
I was just walking down the street and this place caught my eyes so I gave it a try. Zeppola Bakery is the a hidden gem and kind of place that reminds you that pastries can be an art. Everything here looks amazing and taste awesome. The croissant rolls were buttery, soft on the inside with the right amount of crisp on the outside. So many selections to choose from. I will definitely go back for more. A clean cafe with friendly staff also made the visit enjoyable. read more

This is by far one of my fave Italian bakeries to get the Bomboloni (Italian donuts) where theirs are thicker then other places, soft and fluffy filled with generous different flavors of decadent cream. I was genuinely impressed by the quality and authenticity of everything I tried. The croissants (classic, square and round) were beautifully made with delicate layers and just the right balance of sweetness. Besides the sweet treats, they also serve lasagna, pizza and sandwiches. From flaky pastries to rich espresso, this cozy Italian bakery feels like a slice of Italy in every bite and definitely keeps calling me back for just more than one pastry. read more

Noticed the high rankings and decided to go and get an Americano with a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was perfect for a tired New Yorker or just some guy having coffee (me). The sandwich had to be microwaved to warm it up, would be great as made to order, but still was perfect and hit the spot. Highly recommend! read more

Very nice little bakery and pastry shop in NYC. They have many awesome and some unique items on their menu, and I got to try their Nutella croissant and cream Bombolone. Both were very good. There's an area in the back, away from where you order your food, where you can sit down and it your pastries and drink your coffee. I had to scurry off to attend an event so I didn't get the full experience. The Nutella croissant was good, but I can't say it blew me away. It was pretty fresh and filled with a good amount of filling. The bombolone was very good, though. Like an Italian donut filled with cream, or pistachio, or a few other fillings of choice. Zeppola Bakery came highly recommended, so I had to check it out. The service was efficient, pretty much in and out, but there is a small dining area if you would rather dig in right away. The bakery is well lit with a narrow hallway that leads to the back where the dining tables are. I ordered a mixed fruit tart which was scrumptious. The fruit tasted naturally sweet which complimented the pastry cream perfectly. Regrettably, it is just too small. I finished it quickly, so my friend treated me to a second tart. Hooray! The bathroom is accessible to the public and also located in the back. It's well maintained which makes me feel even better about eating here. Would recommend. read more
We came here for breakfast. We got the some baked goods and some pistachio lattes, hot and iced. The pastries were not good. The creamed filled croissant roll was okay. Cream good, stale croissant. The cannoli was bad. The cream tasted not homemade. Kind of plasticky. The drinks were okay. The hot latte was scalding! I couldn't hold the cup and waited like 15 mins to drink it. It's like they forgot the steamer and let it steam to 200+ F degrees. Not very good. The milk too scalded. The iced latte was better but still just okay. read more
They have three different sizes and shapes of croissants filled with a cream filling. They have a big ball-like one, a big square one and a thinner round one. Like a pinwheel. I tried the Pistachio, Strawberry and the Caramel thinner round ones!! My fave was Pistachio!! They also had chocolate and Nutella I believe. We enjoyed these so much, we went back two more times! They can be a little messy but they're really good! read more

This place saved the day. I just had a very terrible sad sandwich at Andrew's diner down the street and I was still hungry. I wandered in, and I got a delicious slice of pepperoni pizza and a cannoli. My bf got a gorgeous strawberry pastry. All was so great. It was fast, there was a nice seating area in The back, and it really turned the day around. read more

the donut didn't taste fresh and the cream was only in the center- it wasn't a filled donut. We also tried the chocolate glazed donut- and it was stale, we didn't even finish it. The iced coffee was delicious. Service was fast. read more
After two back to back dinners in K-town, four of us walked around searching for a dessert shop. Found this Italian balery on Yelp and decided to walk over since there were so many good reviews. Looking through the storefront window, we were excited. So much color and interesting items. However, we were all quite full, so decided to share one giant Pistachio Cream Bombolone. Sadly, the bombolone is nothing like what I had in Italy. It was very dense, more like bread, and not fluffy as I hoped it would be. I guess it was late at night and it's been sitting there for a while, but I cannot imagine it being much better fresh. As for the pistachio cream filling, there were plenty of it, but definitely too sweet for me. read more
Stopped in as this was on the bucket list for a friend, and we tried one of the round croissants (chocolate and ) and a classic custard Bombolone. They give it to you on a wax sheet in a little basket (cute, but not practical when trying to cut it, you have to angle high). Knives/forks/napkins at the counter or above the return bin area before you walk to the back. Bus your own table. Bombolone was excellent - think of a Boston creme but much better. Rich and sweet donut with a solid amount of custard inside. The round croissant we had was a little less good for me - mascarpone cheese was ok, but the chocolate on the croissant was rich and enjoyable with the round shape and pearls of sugar on top. Overall not a bad bakery, I've had better croissants (different shape) but the Bombolone was excellent. Will be back for those! They also have some other Italian food - sandwiches, looks like a pizza of some sort, etc. read more

Past by on my way back from a broadway show. Everything looked delicious through the window so I decided to go in and order a donut. The visuals/aesthetic of the shop was beautiful and the service was pleasant. Once I got home and ate my first donut, I instantly felt gross from the taste of oil in my mouth. The second donut looked more promising but I was unfortunately disappointed. The Nutella and chocolate was delicious but once I hit the actually pastry part I was completely disappointed. I felt like I was drinking a bottle of frying oil. Once again the visuals look appetizing but please reconsider the frying process so it doesn't feel like I'm eating bread soaked in oil instead of an actual donut. $30 down the drain. read more

I always walk by this bakery in Midtown and can't help but notice the gorgeous pastries in the window. We finally went in to try them, and everything looked amazing! They have those popular circle croissants, but the Nutella-filled pastries were my favorite. They've got a great mix of stuff, from hot and cold sandwiches to super fresh pastries. read more

Accidentally discovered when in Manhattan once,walking out of the Penn Station (it's really closeby). Might be my luck,but whenever I come,there's always Italian tourists inside - so I'm assuming it's Italian Bakery that's Italian-approved! :) I personally love their rolly croissants with pistachio cream along with a cup of double espresso to balance out the sweetness. Pricey ($10 for the pastry) but oh so worth it! Huge selection of all kinds of pastries,to please virtually anybody's sweet tooth. read more

Cool little Italian bakery with beautiful desserts! Wow! I was waiting for my socks to fly off my feet (spoiler alert: they did not.) We ordered the pistachio crème filled donut with a tiramisu latte There was a lil snaffu with our latte--we wanted it and asked for it hot but it was entered as an iced so we just took it. Wasn't a big deal. Also they denied our request to have the donut heated a little which in my opinion would have taken this donut from okay to oooookay! So it was just okay. It was a good recommendation, though. Staff was happy and helpful. Latte was a latte. The tiramisu cream didn't add much at all even after I stirred it in. It was worth a try, but not with the hype. the croissant with mascarpone filling was extremely light on the filling and the croissant itself was almost stale. Maybe because we picked them up at 8:30 pm on a Friday and they were sitting all day. Still for $7 a croissant, it should be fresh. The bomboloni (donut) filled with the same filling was also stale and tasted like it was a day or so old. You can't sell us two stale items for $14. Not good. The girl at the counter was nice so I guess 3 stars is the highest I could rate this place. read more
