Vacationing in NY and had to stop by for a visit for some pastries ! Arrived early and line wasn't too long! Purchased couples pastries to try. Both the pistachio and raspberry croissant was a bit too oily lacking the flakiness /chew I was looking for ! Cinnamon bun wasn't too bad but overly sweet generous with the frosting! The KA was probably my fav- simple and laminated ! Overall try it but don't think I'll be back but you will have to try it yourself I don't mind the price being a tad higher, hey we are in NY

This bakery is for take out only by the window. I arrived there about half hour before it opened and there was about five more people coming to form the line. The croissants are buttery with good amount of filling. I had the pistachio rose and I enjoyed it very much. The pistachio filling isn't very sweet and I didn't notice the rose at all. The tahini chocolate chip cookies are highly recommended as well. Kouign Aman with raspberry is also buttery. The sweetness of the raspberry is a good touch to balance the richness of the pastry

Raspberry almond croissant was SO good I'd come back for it and to try more pastries. Came on a Monday around 2 and no line. The cold brew was also pretty good. Service really nice they were kind. I want to come back to keep trying things

Got a chocolate croissant and it was pretty good but it didn't change my life. I'm not the biggest croissant person so next time I want to try the cookie.

Came here after hearing so much about it. Luckily the line wasn't too long and it moved at a decent pace. When I got to the counter to see what was available I tried to ask the cashier what the different types of croissants were since it wasn't immediately obvious to me. She replied in a snarky tone, "everything we have available is on the menu today" and pointed at the menu. Unfortunately, I can't read French so I wasn't sure what many of the words on the menu meant (e.g. "aux amandes au framboise") and it didn't seem like she wanted to tell me, so I decided to just order the Pistachio Rose croissant. It was quite flat and not very flaky and crispy for a croissant and had a thick and overly sweet filling. Not quite what I was hoping for, especially at the price point. I wish I had ordered a plain croissant instead.

If I could give it a Zero, I would. It's super rare for me to say so. I came around 10a.m. to check out this relatively new spot-just a few blocks from my home. There was a small line. You order in a window of what appears to be a tiny space on the ground floor- like an apartment. The pastries in the display underwhelming. The cinnamon bun lookalike was reminiscent of fake pastries. I went for "rose pistachio." It felt super heavy in the bag. OMG. Once I opened it, the buttery substance oozed out of a pistachio filling. It was so off putting. The croissant was layered and flaky... probably made on the premises & the notes of rose petals were such a surprise. Regardless, this must be the worst pastry I've ever had. Absolutely horrid, grease dripping down my hand, sloppy filling. How can anyone pose this as trendy or good. Service entitled: when asked the drip coffee source, told annoyingly it was from "partners." Trader Joe's Ethiopian? Honestly The Village boasts such veritable bakeries & superb drip coffee. I feel like getting my money back- $12 so above its true worth.

Short wait under 10min on a cold Sunday morning outside their West village window. Tried the plain croissant, the pistachio rose croissant, and the raspberry kouign amann. Came out to $20 for 3 pastries. Their plain croissant was spectacular. Would come back again and just get this next time! Would also love to come back and try their cheesy bread or focaccia. The kouign amann is better at Miolin bakery in my opinion.

West Village bakery window, Saturday around 1pm, no line, still had a large selection however they were out of the raspberry croissant I wanted to try... I ordered the chocolate almond croissant instead. I will remember each flakey, buttery, chocolate almond bite! With all of the fabulous carbs popping up in the city, I rarely consider croissants... based on their reviews, I knew a croissant would be my choice and now I want to try them all! $6.50 chocolate almond croissant.

Small little window but nice to have a wonderful bakery in nyc. Defs runs out quick was was able ro snag almond chocolate crossing. Really good quality, French style. Defs worth it as good flavoring and quality. Recommend

I'm so excited this Brooklyn bakery now has an outpost in the Greenwich/west village area! For croissants, I tried the everything bagel croissant and it was crispy, buttery and flavorful. A nice change of scenery if you're looking for something other than their staple sweet and decadent almond croissants. I also snatched a half sized baguette for the road and it was a pretty decent loaf. A note on the wait: They typically have moderate lines due to the social media hype, but I went mid day( 3pm) and happy to report that there were no lines during off peak times. I don't think the coffee was going to be amazing but I'll try it next time!

We stumbled upon this place randomly and decided to get some coffee. It's like a little hole in the wall, they have no seating and it's right on the street. I ordered a cappuccino and it was one of the best I've had! The milk stayed frothy throughout every sip- it was so good! They also have bread and pastry items as well. But this is definitely one of the better coffee places for on the go. Service was nice and fast

I stopped by here in December with a girlfriend before a day shopping in West Village. We got ham and cheese croissants which were really yummy. There was a short line but the staff was all really nice and helpful, worked very quick too. The coffee was pretty good as well. Over all really nice place and I would stop by again if I was in the area.

We heard about this place on Reddit, but the opinions are mixed. Some people say it's really good, some people say it's overhyped, so we came to see for ourselves. TLDR: It's fine. Overhyped. Not worth $7 or the line in my opinion. Note, this review is based on their raspberry Kouign-Amann. I thought the raspberry was too sweet and not enough tart, but maybe that's my preference for non-jammy raspberries. AMBIANCE: It's a line that forms at a window. Nowhere to go inside or sit.

Went to the Flatiron store both times and didn't have to wait long to order. The staff were great and packed all of the little cakes nicely so that they survived the trek back to our condo. Mango--all around favorite, wound up buying like 4 of these cause half my friends preferred it and I liked it a surprising amount Blueberry--very mild, no tartness, not too sweet with good blueberry flavor Orange--fresh and orangey in the middle, loved this one Pear--reminds me of cinnamon apples (I guess this was cinnamon pears), which isn't my favorite flavor but others enjoyed Banana--made me sad cause I LOVE banana flavored stuff and this just... wasn't? It had old tasting banana paste in the middle assuming because it's real banana and not artificial, is tiny, and didn't taste good Yuzu--nice yuzu flavor and disappeared fast Cloud--forgot the actual name and apparently didn't take a picture, it had chocolate/hazelnut mousse with some sort of caramel and something crunchy, also delicious All of the petit gateaus were on the mild side which is a big plus for me. Appearance was top notch and the balance of cream to filling on point. I'd like to try some of the other pastries next time for sure.

Something with eggs, and meat, and a hot beverage as winter is fast approaching. Anything else would do fine, but the first two were an absolute must. Daily Provisions fulfilled those obligations. Though pricey, and probably why I will not return, they make one tasty breakfast sandwich. It might even outdo Panera! If only I could see how it is made rather than just wrapped and packaged for me, with me assuming they just took a pre-packaged sandwich and heated it up. I really hope they do not do that. The taste of it tells me they do not, but I have to surmise. I also got a hot chocolate, which is super rich. It is not super hot, but if you are not careful you could have an accident on the sidewalk because of the milk they use. Drink it slow and steady. Or pace yourself between sips. Do not let the body recognize this is full of the things that make bowel movements happen. Thankfully, I held my ground. They also sell crullers. I love a good cruller. Choux pastry donuts full of rich flavor, without all the density of an actual donut. This one may be too rich. It is also quite expensive. Nearby Donut Pub does a better job with them. I had to be careful eating this. Being careful and knowing how much it cost to get a breakfast here are what keep it a three star review. However, their offerings will keep you out of the cold and give you strengths on days you need to be picked up.
