Update 8/6/25 Dear Seven Grams My experience and food was so great had to come back for a second morning of greatness! This place really knows how to jumpstart a persons day! Thank you for your excellence in service, hospitality, and high quality coffee, and baked goods. Special thanks to Turon for going above and beyond to give me warm, fresh croissants. Thank you Jared for your upbeat friendly service, thank you David & Julissa for your over the top service that makes this location rock!!! Seven Grams Caffé is one of those rare coffee spots that immediately feels like your place the moment you walk in. A hidden gem located just off Varick, with big, savory flavor in every sip and bite. The scent of freshly pulled espresso hits you first--rich, bold, and inviting. Their coffee? Impeccable. The burlap filled with coffee beans from the coffee farms of Brazil are sitting at the door. Whether you go for a classic espresso, a iced tiramisu matcha, or their signature cold brew, you can taste the highest quality in every pour. It was suggested I try the raspberry croissant, what a way to start the morning! It tasted like heaven with every bite, the added sliced almonds, and fresh raspberries gave it an even more flavorful taste! I was on cloud 9..... It's a perfect spot to sit, and sip your brew before starting the day, outside seating is available to catch up with a friend, or just treat yourself. Special thanks to David, the lovely lady on the register whose name starts with a "D", and the rest of the friendly staff. The elevated vibes, good music. and some of the best coffee in the U.S. have not had coffee this good except for being on a coffee finca (farm) in South America, cafes in Italy, or Africa. This cafe is a good total win. Tip: If you visit the cafe's online website and enter your email, you can get 10% off your first purchase, and receive incentives.

I stopped by here earlier today by myself for my morning coffee. When traveling, I like to hit up local coffee shops and on this day I happened to go to Seven Grams Coffee. For full disclosure, this was my second coffee of the day but I did grab it on my walk into the office. I had actually noticed Seven Grams earlier in the morning but it was still closed at that point. In any case, it's located on Charlton Street in SoHo and the storefront itself is somewhat small. Inside there's a clean, modern setup with some seating and a display case loaded with yummy looking pastries. After looking over the drink options I ultimately decided on a cappuccino. It took about five minutes from ordering until I had my drink in hand and was on my way. Once I was able to taste it, I thought it was pretty good. The espresso here easily stood up to the milk and had a nice strong flavor. Then the milk itself was smooth and paired well with the coffee. The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. I enjoyed my cappuccino and would be interested to try some of their pastries.

Really good cafe in nyc! I've been to a couple of locations now and the quality is always very solid. They also recently added a gluten free and vegan chocolate chip cookie to their menu and it's actually quite tasty!

Seven Grams Caffe is located in a nice upscale area of SoHo and very close to where I was staying on my recent trip to NYC! They have amazing vegan savoury/ sweet options as well as coffees. I got a Cortado and my friend got a pumpkin scone along with Americano. Everything was delicious and so rich! I see Vegan options on the menu, and that itself wins my heart, this place although won a lot more (vegan) brownie points with it's taste as well ;) It's a very small cafe with limited seating. I did spot a couple of people working from the caffe and enjoying their coffee on a gloomy work day. I wish I knew about this place sooner but will definitely visit again when I'm back in the city!

The ambiance of this cafe is so nice, long tables with plenty of seating. I ordered a chai latte and the sizing is JUST right! They don't add too much ice either. The workers are so nice and patient. I'm also happy to know they have a bathroom (code required) to enter. 1000% will come back, definitely recommend for a quick and open lounge or a good place to study.

Stopped in for a pick-me-up and opted for an iced dirty chai. The drink was super solid and the employees were really friendly. Though I'm partial to the Chelsea location, this is a great option for the area!

We got an iced oat matcha and an coldbrew w Pat and it's great! Service was fast and vibe was solid. Great spot to swing by if you're on a walk

Stopped by to try the Dark Chocolate Coconut Cookie. I wasn't a big fan of it or the price. It tasted more healthy than I thought it would. The coconut offered some sweetness but I think the dark chocolate was a bit too intense. It costs close to $7, and the cookie isn't particularly large. Staff was speedy and they have indoor seating if you want to do a coffee chat with someone or do a little work inside.

Nice and convenient place for a good cup of Coffee. Tried the Iced Coffee and an Iced Mocha, both were very flavorful and nice. Good ambience and good people. Definitely coming back here again...

So cute. From the cups, to the interior, to the employees, this was such a well rounded experience. Would definitely come back!

This was a nice coffee shop right by our hotel located in South Village. You can either order with someone upfront or order your drink/food at the kiosk which was easy and convenient to use. They have a variety of pastries that looked good, but I didn't try and also coffee beans you can buy. This coffee shop has a nice cozy vibe to it and it's not very loud which is nice. I ordered a vanilla latte and it had a nice balance of vanilla and coffee. Would definitely come back here to try the pastries out next time I am in New York.

I looooove this coffee chain. I think about their vegan chocolate chip cookies almost all the time. Why are they so good? Do they specialize in coffee, or cookies? I want to know. They have a range of flavors but my absolute favorites are the vegan ones (tahini olive oil chocolate chip, pb dark chocolate). They almost remind me of a vegan version of Levain cookies. They also have other pastry items that are great as well, and obviously coffees/teas. This particular location is on a quiet side street. I dont know what crowd it caters to, probably the people that work in the office buildings nearby since the neighborhood is neither touristy nor trendy. Either way it's great if you want to avoid crowds and lines.

If texture doesn't bother you (liberal amount of black sesame!), I'd suggest getting this latte (10/10). Both pastries were great in their own right. For my second matcha of the day, this matcha was like your everyday/average matcha. Can't go wrong, but it wasn't mind-blowing. If you're in the Theatre District, I'd definitely recommend popping in for a drink & a treat!

I had seen their cute pastries online and wanted to check them out. We got the items above and a few coffees. The cakes are cute. Tho not as light and fluffy as I was expecting. I thought they'd be more like the asian bakeries we have back in SF. Not as sweet as american desserts, but it was kinda in between. The egg sandwich I really wanted to like since I've been craving one. But the it was sooo dry. Definitely needed more mayo. And the bread wasn't very fluffy either. Cute spot if you want cute desserts. Tho I think they are more geared towards posting on socials. REVIEW #3999

It's pricey, but welcome to FiDi. My one complaint is they try to upsell you. Like, I'm sure your pastry that's unique to Puerto Rico and that I've never had before is delicious, but I need to get going and I don't want to dip into my 401k for it.

It happened to be 787 Coffee which I have visited plenty of times on the island and enjoy. With excitement and in Spanish I tell the cashier that I was happy to come across this place as I have tried them out in PR. How is it that this "jibara" apparently from Maricao, spoke to me in broken English while I am talking to her in our native language, total fail. Anyhow, I ordered the coquito hot latte with an extra shot of rum and oat milk, fine, I paid $11 for a very small coffee. Now what I can't believe is that the quesito pastry was $8. I really wanted it but it was not until I paid that I then noticed the price. I sat to eat it while I waited for my name to be called as mentioned by the cashier. I walked around looking at everything, the music very loud and hard for people sitting to have conversations, the place is very colorful and with many PR sayings, however the place also feels very Americanized with the music and layout. I still awaited my name to be called minutes later, but nothing. I approached the cashier, who was just standing there, to ask about my coffee and she wasn't able to tell me so she asked the barista steps away from her. He pointed to a cofre sitting on their counter, it had my name, and when I pointed out that I was waiting for my name to be called, she shrugged her shoulders and smiled like she didn't care. The coffee by now was not all that hot, I never tasted any rum or coquito flavor and felt I wasted my time at this place. What's more upsetting is that I left a nice tip for a service that was not provided. They couldn't even bring the coffee ti my table once they realized it was sitting there and they forgot to call my name. You can find better service elsewhere.
