Specialty coffee @ lower manhattan NYC A cozy farm to cup coffee from Puerto Rico. The rum fused black coffee had a nice subtle rum flavor, the mazapan coffee was nutty, sweet and creamy. They have various locations through out NYC and NJ. The barista in front was helpful explaining different kind of coffee.

I found this place through a friend. He highly recommends their coffee and is a regular here. I gave it a try. It definitely tastes good. I've only tried their hot coffees and hot lattes. It is marketed as Puerto Rico's finest coffee "fresh farm to cup". I've never had Puerto Rican coffee before this store, so I can't really compare it to anything. It's naturally less bitter than most other coffees I've had. The flavors they offer are super unique like Mazapan Latte, Horchata latte, and Coquito Latte. Definitely a healthier option than most, as their lattes are only 190 calories a cup. I love the latte art that they make. There is a cute decorated sit down area inside.

Really spacious location and i had a great drink in a pouch. The barista was friendly and introduced me to 2different coffee bean choices. Only have oatmilk and regular milk. But i'm ok with it.

Great vibe, friendly service and decent amount of seating area! Came here early on a Saturday morning and got the mint tea. Would recommend as an alternative to the usual Starbucks and Dunkin chains!

While in NYC this past weekend, we stopped in for a quick coffee to warm up and also to wake up for the rest of the day! The atmosphere was very fun and it was interesting to look around! There was plenty of seating and quite a few people were working / studying there. I liked that they give an option for which roast is used in the cappuccino (although two of the roasts are a $3 premium)! I selected the regular roast and was really happy with the flavor of the cappuccino! It was rich and didn't taste like the coffee was over roasted which happens at a lot of places. I thought the base price for a cappuccino was reasonable ($6) considering New York pricing. The staff was very friendly and happy to make any adjustments we wanted! Would absolutely visit again!

I ordered the Tres Leches and my husband got the Dolce De Leche and it was delicious! We both got the dark chocolate butter roast and it was very rich and tasty! Not the mention the staff was super friendly and helpful! They also sell stickers and cute little pins! Such a great experience overall!

I got the Pina colada iced latte with less ice and it was quite good! My fiancee got the coquito which had coconut based drink which was delicious too. Pricewise this place is quite steep but the unique flavor was cool. The service was good with no issues. They answered my questions and got the drink out fast! Cool ambiance inside with good amount of tables and the drinks coming in a pouch.

I really enjoyed this place. They serve a special coffee where you can choose between hot or iced, and they let you smell different types of beans before picking your favorite. The coffee has a really unique taste, and the barista was super helpful, answered all our questions and helped us choose based on our preferences. Overall, a really nice and cozy spot.

Not your standard coffee shop. Vibrant coffee shop with PR influence that delivers a unique infused coffee experience. A little bit loud for a business meeting but certainly suitable otherwise. The iced horchata hit the spot and was largely a meal replacement, I wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Leave it up to me to get a $12 latte - had the coquito flavored latte with oat milk and rum beans if I remember correctly. Nothing too crazy - would definitely get the rum infused version next time just to test the waters.

Excellent coffee, I got a rum coffee cappuccino with the horchata flavor and it was fantastic. I think I got it three times while visiting from Orlando. I tasted LOTS of coffee while in NYC and this was definitely my favorite :)

Decent gourmet coffee - Iced drinks come in a little bag which is kind of awkward because it doesn't seal all the way due to the straw so it might spill if you are no careful. I would have preferred a cup but I think people like it since it's new and different. I got an iced cold brew for $7. They also sell coffee beans. There is some seating but it is limited as it does get packed. I think they also have other locations.

Looking for local coffee shops in the Financial District, I stumbled across 787 Coffee. On my way to work, I stopped into 787 Coffee to get a hot chocolate at around 7:20 A.M! Currently 787 Coffee Shop locations are in New York, Texas, and Puerto Rico. The coffee process starts in Maricao, Puerto Rico! The beans are grown at the highest mountain tops and no chemicals are used! The team member at the register had informed me about the history of 787 Coffee since it was my first time at their location in the Financial District! I ended up ordering a medium hot chocolate and one order of their blueberry loaf slice. It was freshly baked! The blueberries were super scrumptious and the loaf was perfect! The bread was soft and crumbly! The hot chocolate was yummy too! It was a great breakfast! I'm so glad I had a chance to stop inside 787 Coffee! If I am in the Financial District and looking for a place to get some hot chocolate, I'll have to stop by 787 Coffee again! The team members at this location are helpful and friendly!

We got the Banter Bowl, which includes pickled carrot, cabbage, watermelon radish, cucumber, edamame, avocado, quinoa, and miso ponzu dressing. You have a choice of meats, so we chose the grilled chicken. Second, we ordered the falafel bowl that includes three falafels, pickled onions, avocado, cucumber, whipped garlic feta, kale salad, romesco, and Za'atar dressing that had a delicious flavor. However, our ultimate favorite had to be the Thai Crunch Wrap with sweet potato fries. It was fairly busy, and our drinks took a while to come, but the food arrived shortly after. The next time I'm back, I will be sure to reorder the Thai crunch wrap. If you have food allergies, they are extremely accommodating and have numerous vegan/vegetarian/GF.

Think vintage wallpaper, little knick-knacks, and warm lighting. It's got character. I ordered the market salad with mixed greens, honeycrisp apples, goat cheese, candied pecans, and sherry vinaigrette. It was a hearty portion - super fresh and flavorful, and honestly more than I could finish (not a complaint!). I also ordered a Diet Pepsi with grenadine; they don't carry Diet Coke, which I almost docked a point for, but the mix was unexpectedly delicious. Highly recommend it. My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water.
