Stopped by Maman on a Saturday morning in early November. There was a line out the door but we later realized that that was for indoor seating. The sun was out so we got our order to go and enjoyed it on the patio style seating out front. We got the harvest tart, the olive oil pistachio tea cake, and their seasonal fall vanilla honey butter latte. I had high expectations from the latte and left a tad disappointed. The tart was great though! The location for the tribeca cafe is really nice and I enjoyed sitting outdoors people watching, occasionally catching up with passerby doggos on their walks, and enjoying the warm sun on a crisp fall day. 10/10 for the fall aesthetics but likely 7/10 for the food. I had been wanting to try this place for some time, and finally did. I ordered the salmon croissant roll, wild blueberry latte and a papaya matcha lemonade. First time trying a croissant sandwich, and I can say it won't be my last. The croissant was flaky, buttery and worth the calories. The host and server were friendly and took care of us right away. There are a few small two-top tables in the front, and larger tables plus some very comfy booths in the back. Bonus points for a clean bathroom, always appreciated. They had a few holiday-inspired drinks, so we tried those. I can't remember the exact name of mine, but it was a mint hot chocolate with liqueur, topped with cocoa whipped cream and cacao nibs -- absolutely delicious and exactly what you want on a cold, rainy day. We also ordered a chocolate croissant, which was great. After we settled in, a line started forming. By the time we left, the place was packed, so we clearly lucked out arriving when we did. The potatoes were perfectly done, the onions were the tastiest I've ever had, the arugula added a brightness to the dish. Amazing food and drinks! I went for some early morning matcha and breakfast, and safe to say everything was delicious. I got a hot matcha latte, which tasted delicious: the matcha was strong and came sweetened (but not too sweet), and the latte art was so cute. I also got the salmon croissant which changed my life. The salmon lox was so fresh with an extra crispy croissant and cream cheese. It also comes with pickled onions and dill which add such a good pickled flavor. Everything was perfect. I came around 9-10am, and it was pretty crowded. I would recommend going early if you want to enjoy your food in a quiet space, but there was no issue with getting a table or receiving my food and drink. The cafe itself is super cute. Very European, full of greenery, and food and drink came with beautiful dishes. Went for breakfast at opening and despite there being 4 staff, it was disorganized with many of the baked goods not ready yet. More expensive than other choices here and not as good. Mini chain Maman is always a good spot to have in mind as a back up plan. Their cafes are cute with their rustic decor (very Instagram friendly) and their food and coffee are good. The breakfast pastries, cookies and cakes are great and I like their lunchtime soup and salad options. It's not super cheap but it's not too expensive either. This location is tucked away in the back of a paper source store and has a mix of individual and communal tables along with a couple of sofas, it's probably the nicest one I've been too as it's not too busy compared to some of the other locations. On a side note I've recommended Maman to a few friends and acquaintances and they've all agreed that it's an enjoyable spot to grab breakfast/brunch that isn't exorbitantly expensive before a day of sightseeing. read more

For the prices in the neighborhood, this was a great experience and we left feeling full and satisfied.
