I absolutely loveddddd their croissant so much! It was softy, wasn't too flaky, and very chocolatey! It also reminded me of one of my favorite chocolates Ferraro roche. I only wished it had more filling. They provide plenty of seating outside as well since the inside had limited space. Would come back for a sweet treat!
Super tiny cute cafe next to the store great option to stop by while you wait. Girlfriend absolutely loved her cafe, said it was probably the best she's had all year (and she goes to a lot of coffee spots), really liked the almond croissant. Super fluffy, fresh, filled just enough not too much. The fresh squeezed OJ was also great. The server was kind and efficient with the order as well
Came in at around 11:30 on a Sunday. I was the first in the outside line, probably took around 8 minutes to actually get my drink. Personally I found the drink to be average. Probably wouldn't come back but it was very cute inside.
Let's talk about Café Leon dore! So I visited this place while I was on a trip to New York City. Well, getting here consist of taking trains. There is some small amount of parking available. If you know where to look. Now Let's talk about the coffee. I ordered a vanilla latte and got to sit outside in one of their two seaters. Taste of the coffee was great. It was strong, rich and really got you going. The vanilla syrup was settled, but you can still feel it. The price was adequate for a drink of that type. The space is very small for the café, so don't expect to sit inside at all but what you will find is a curated menu. Great staff and a great selection of accessories. Such a small cups which go very fast, so make sure you ask for them if available.
The hot chocolate here is probably one of the best drinks I have had. The chocolate chip cookie was delicious as well. Well worth the wait. The perfect drink to have on a cold winter evening.
I popped in here the other night as I was in the area, and looking to warm up. The space itself is very cozy and cute, with lots of wood accents. Just as a note, there isn't anyplace to sit, so if you're looking to sit down, this spot might not be a good choice. The menu had a good selection of coffees and teas, and also had some pastries. The service was great and shout out to Alex, as he was lovely to chat with for a few minutes.
This is an absolute, beautiful café! it is small, but feels like you were walking into a four star hotel. I got a vanilla latte and it tasted so very fresh. The staff was friendly and great at making coffee. There is no indoor seating, but a few tables outside.

Beautiful little cafe giving off Nolita/Soho vibes. They have repainted the shop to black this year (from white) which still looked good and gave it a fresher look. We went as soon as they opened but that also meant the outdoor chairs were not yet in place and available. oh well. so inside was cute (like in both looks and size lol). There wasnt any seating so we just did a grab-and-go. There are some merchandise for sale and I was so tempted to get an espresso cup. The pastries looked great and so far Ive tried their hazelnut croissant which was so good! the chocolate chip was very yummy too! I hope i could try more soon as all looked really fresh and delicious. and since we're here, we had to try their Freddo Cappuccino of course. I added simple syrup to mine and it was perfect! I didnt really expect to enjoy it so much but I did! Line isnt as long now compared to before. Yay!
Stopped by Café Leon Dore and ordered the Fred Cappuccino, and it was exactly what I needed--a nice, strong cup of coffee with bold flavor. It's definitely not sweet, so if you're someone who's into origin-focused coffee and more pure espresso taste, this one's for you.
I got the chai latte here at Cafe Leon and didn't really like it much. The pastries and sweets were pretty but pricey. I got the large chocolate chip cookie, the chocolate pieces were a little too big/strong flavored. Service is good and it wasn't too busy when I went in the afternoon.
We only popped into the little coffee door, but it was our favorite latte of the weekend by far.
A small, charming place with a very unique presentation. I ordered a cold coffee; the service was a bit slow, but it was a good experience and left me with a nice memory.

I had this place bookmarked after seeing it all over TikTok and I'm so happy I finally got to try it! First of all, be sure to go in to their clothing store next door first, it's a whole vibeeeeee. The streetwear and fashion are everything. We walked into the little super tiny cafe and it's only big enough for you to place your order and head outside. Because they're known for their frothy cold foam, I went that route (which I normally wouldn't have ever). I ordered the freddo cappuccino (it is Greek coffee so maybe that's what didn't make it for me). I do wish the beans were arabica for an authentic espresso flavor. I paired my frothy cappuccino with a "Nutella" croissant. Unfortunately, I do wish they called it hazelnut instead of Nutella because it was for sure NOTella. Despite that, the hazelnut spread was delicious and I have no complaints. I knew what I was getting into since I could tell from the color and texture of the chocolate. Everything is a bit pricier since it's a chic boutique coffee shop but we really enjoyed the experience and sitting outside enjoying while people watching. I'd definitely come back! One thing to note is the cold foam froth is only available in regular milk. read more

I am amazed by the coffee here. I was thinking it would be another inflated influencer spot. But the coffee here is delicious. If I had to compare it's on the same scale, as devocion. I purchase a ice cortado with pistachios milk and honey. 10/10 It's a tiny spot and there tends to be a line, but it moves fast. Best to go with the weather is nice. read more

Such a cute spot to stop by in NYC! Café Leon Dore has a really cool, laid-back atmosphere that fits perfectly with the brand's aesthetic. Super cute, but small cafe! I love the overall aesthetic of the brand, and of course had to stop by the Aime Leon Dore store right next door! 'Freddo Cappuccino': I loved how thick the cream foam top was! The coffee itself was not too strong, but a bit on the acidic side.. Staff were nice, and drinks came out pretty quickly. There's a few outdoor tables in front of the storefront, and I thought it was so cute how they had the checkerboard pattern on the table! read more

Aimé Leon Dore was fully booked, so decided to at least stop by the café. honestly didnt expect much, but my latte (asked for it to be sweetened) ended up being really good with a strong taste in espresso. it is an intimate space, once ~5 people are lined up inside it basically becomes full, so this is for sure a grab-and-go situation read more

Coffee here was good! Well prepared and super high quality taste -- nothing artificial here. More for hardcore coffee lovers than lattes/matcha ppl. As expected from Aime Leon Dore themselves. Almond croissant was also tasty but probably even better if warmed up. As tourists staying in SOHO, we were super excited to make this one of our first stops. Aesthetics are super nice in the place too. If you enjoy ALD vibes, you'll also enjoy checking out the cafe too. read more
I always wanted to come to the ALD store and I came across the café, which is next-door so I stopped by to get a coffee. I got the Freddie cappuccino and it was pretty good, but I did not get the pastries that was available in the café. It is usually busy and sometimes long, waiting line but worth the wait! Overall, loved the coffee and would come back here ! read more

I don't know what stars to give this place as I have not tried their drinks or food yet. I came down to this area and wanted to find a coffee shop to stop by at before I had to go somewhere else that I was early to. I walked in the door was open so I figured they were open. When I walked in I got stared at in an odd way for a second. One of the ladies said it a pretty rude way we are not open for another 15 min, I said oh ok sorry didn't realize. I asked if it was possible I stood by the door or by the window just to keep warm for a bit. She said no as they weren't opened yet. I figured that is what they were going to say. But she could have said it in a nicer way. I walked out but was not going to wait around for 15 min in the cold when she was rude to me. Maybe next time I am in the area I will stop by to try their coffee drink they are known for but not 100% sure. This place was very small and from what I read in other reviews its connected to a clothing store of sorts. When I walked in, it seemed like a very chic, upscale bougie coffee shop and I was excited to try it. Oh well. In other reviews I have read I see that the staff were not friendly to some other people too. read more

Nice people. Nice, well dressed people. Nice, well dressed young people. Nice, well dressed young polite people serving coffee and light fare in the city! No seating except for outside, I didn't realize this. We ended up having to take our food to a park down the block. It was cold out, and this wasn't what I expected. The kiddo was happy, and that's all that mattered. Thank you for making his day. read more
Cute cafe in the middle of Soho attached to a clothing store. There's a few tables right outside the cafe, which was perfect when we stopped by because the weather was so nice, but there's no seating inside. The cafe sells branded merch (aprons and towels etc), and the pastries looked yummy but we ended up just ordering their iced freddo cappaccino. They give you the option of adding either sugar or honey to the coffee (I opted for honey). Overall the drink was fine - the coffee was strong and and milk foam (they said it was made from 2% skim milk) was thick. I expected the milk foam to be sweet (maybe I'm thinking too much of einspanners) but it wasn't at all. Overall solid drink and cute cafe, but pricey (as you would expect). read more

Literally was walking around to find a coffee place and saw that Cafe Leon Dore was open. Upon entering, we knew we made the right decision because the interior was nice and clean. They had a pretty standard menu and we decided to get the freddo cappuccino. Honestly, it was one of the best coffees we have had in NYC. No wonder there were lots of people in this cafe. Service was pretty normal. Quickly ordered and got our order from the pick-up section. If we are ever in the area again, we will come back for sure. Food: 5/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 read more

Cafe Leon Dore is a must-visit coffee cafe on Mulberry Street. This small, yet exceptional coffee shop stands out for its neo-renaissance/italianate charm, coffee, and giant mouth-watering chocolate cookies. The shop is very narrow, but it's worth waiting in the small quarters for their infamous cappuccino. Here, the cappuccino is made only one way -- with skim milk and plenty of frothy texture on top. Taste wise, the cappuccino is fairly bitter. I wish it tasted a bit more creamier for some balance. Still, the ambiance and service made up for the taste! The barista was patient with us, took our order, and happily prepared our drinks. If you have more of a sweet tooth, they don't offer many syrups of seasonal flavors, just brown sugar or another common sweetener. Came for the viral Freddo cappuccino. It was super popular last summer and now that the hype has died down I was finally able to check it out without waiting in long lines. When ordering they ask if you'd like sugar or honey added to the drink. As someone who usually prefers sweeter coffee I opted for both sugar and honey. I think this is what really made me enjoy it. I saw reviews state that the coffee itself tasted sour, but for mine the sugar masked that a bit so I enjoyed it. It wasn't the best coffee I ever had, but the presentation is pretty and I loved the aesthetic. We also ordered a chocolate croissant and chocolate chip cookie. I actually really enjoyed the croissant. It was soft and had a good amount of chocolate inside. The cookie was ok, a little too cakey for my preference. There's no seating inside, just a small counter to stand and eat if you'd like. No outside tables either. It's good to try the Freddo cappuccino once, but not sure if it's for everyone. Definitely opt for the added sweetener if you prefer sweeter drinks! read more
Great location and fantastic coffee, I had their ham and cheese sandwich as well and it was a great snack. Only drawback was the limited seating which sucked on a hot day - but people were great to share tables! They kept the area pretty clean and the staff gave great recommendations. read more

Cute little cafe. Pretty small though so once you order it's pretty much get in & get out. I ordered the freddo which was pretty good, I just wish it was sweeter but that's my personal preference. Their Nutella croissant was delicious. Would recommend trying this place at least once! read more
Pleasantly no lines on a Tuesday afternoon! You can shop next door while you wait for your drinks; super aesthetic and cute vibes. Ordered the most popular drinks and came to a consensus that it wasn't up there, but still really sweet and quality coffee. Cashier was super friendly and everything inside was just sorrr cute, as were most buildings in this neighborhood. Next time I go, I will ask for more sugar and less milk heheh read more

Small little cafe in Soho that's right next to Aimé Leon Dore. The iced freddo espresso (add honey) with oat milk was my go-to. They also have a freddo cappuccino that is quite popular! You absolutely have to go their chocolate chip cookie. We went back a few times during our short trip to stock up on the cookies! They also have some small Greek cookies that melt in your mouth. read more

Tried their Ice Freddie Cappuccino (Greek coffee) because it's their signature Greek coffee. Surprisingly it wasn't too bitter and had a hint of sweetness as the after taste. read more

As someone who has a poor sense of fashion, I was intimidated by this entire area--I mean come on, even the coffee is aesthetic. my friend and I waited around 15 minutes in line to order coffee here, after which my friend also went to look in the clothing shop. The clothing shop and coffee shop had two separate lines. I sat outside on the cement block to enjoy my drink while waiting for her. my drink was potent, but the flavor wasn't so bitter. It tasted like a nice, strong coffee. It's also really beautiful. The service was quick and friendly. I think they can serve 2-3 people at a time because the shop is so small, and I just stood by the barista to watch him make my drink after ordering. There's also free candy that you can take. My friend tried their cookies and they were tasty although a bit sweet! Not sure if I would come back since there are so many shops in the area but I would recommend trying this out for a pick-meup while shopping. read more
