I think this place is good, but I wouldn't consider it to be my top choice in terms of coffee in the city (which there are TONS of choices). One thing I do have to say is that I enjoy how none of the drinks are sickly sweet, which makes it enjoyable to drink. After some freezing weather I stopped by this coffee shop and decided to get something to warm up with. The staff was friendly and helpful and we decided to try a seasonal drink of theres. This is one of 4 locations in New York while they have 1 other location in Los Angeles. However, they are more prominent globally as they have a strong presence in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. I came here during the afternoon on Thursday 10/9/2025 at around 3:30pm. As expected, there was a bit of a line but did move rather quickly. The interior layout of the building was bright, cheerful, and upscale while utilizing as much natural light as possible. The neutral earth tone colors flow well as beige, gold, and off-white flow freely around the entire interior. Seating was tricky to find but my lady and I did find two available spots that gave us that million dollar view of the Brooklyn Bridge. As for our beverages of choice, she went with a "Hot Vanilla Latte" while I opted for an "Iced Matcha Latte". Since they were busy and the flow of customers did not ease up, we got our drinks in a timely manner, under 5 minutes. I will say that the overall taste of the matcha was good (but not great) as I've had much better. But from an aesthetic perspective, this place had a great New York vibe as the staff and demographic of customers hit all the high notes for me. All in all, "% Arabica" was a good above-average place that allows you to slow down from the daily hustle-and-bustle grind that we encounter on a regular basis. With decent hours; 7:30am-6:00pm 7 days a week, fast Wi-Fi connections, and squeaky clean restrooms, this location does what it can to stay above some of the better coffee shops in the area. This location is usually sprawling with tourists and a respectable crowd on the weekends. Nothing beats the picturesque backdrop of Brooklyn Bridge while you're sipping on your latte. I've been here many times by now and their roasting game is pretty top notch. If it's busy (which it usually is), expect a long wait to get your drink. This is the last of my New York reviews from my trip during the final week of 2024. I was in Dumbo during a frigid morning and needed some good coffee to warm me up! While the inside was bustling with people everywhere, service was relatively quick and the staff were both very kind, but also very knowledgeable about coffee. Knowing % Arabica is a Japanese chain with locations only in New York and LA, I'm glad we stopped in. We ordered a Kyoto Latte and a Spanish Latte. The Kyoto Latte was impeccable. Possibly one of the best I've had. Smooth, not overly sweet, and incredibly easy going down. The Spanish Latte was just as smooth but did have a bit more sweetness. The drinks were about $7, which is more than fair for a 16oz. Something else I found really fascinating was that inside there are coffee beans from all over the world for sale. I also appreciate the fact that the default milk they use is lactose free which made my stomach happy. Walking around Brooklyn on a Thursday morning, I was passing by on my way to the Brooklyn Bridge when I came across Arabica Coffee with a group of friends. Opting to order a few coffees, I decided to join in and check out what Arabica had to offer. Looking at the menu, most of the items were coffees except for a few items shown on the side. With little options for other items, I decided to order a Still 12oz Lemonade ($5.25) and a Blueberry Cheese Danish ($5) to go with it. The coffee shop was the size of your typical place. But what really made this place standout were the large crescent windows facing the Brooklyn Bridge. Not only this, but the majority of the seats in the coffee shop were on the perimeter of the place which really encouraged those enjoying their drinks to look outside. After about 5 minutes of waiting, my food and drink were ready and the barista instructed me to give the lemonade a stir. Sitting down inside, I noticed that the cup of lemonade was noticeably small. Perhaps this was just the typical size of a 12 ounce cup. But looking inside, the amount of ice inside did detract a tad from the amount of lemonade inside. Based on the merit of size alone, I would probably order another drink the next time I come by. As for the Danish, the pastry was on the smaller side too. But fortunately, there were a few blueberries on top and a decent surface area of cheese which was appreciated. At five dollars for the Danish, the size was a little small. And from my eyes, the price to portion ratio just wasn't there. From a flavor perspective, the items I had were all pretty standard. Upon tasting the lemonade at first, the mixture tasted like water with a hint of lemon in it. And after mixing in the drink, the lemonade tasted similar to that of a Simply Lemonade with a tad less sugar. It was definitely refreshing for a early morning, but it isn't something that I would rush to a coffee shop for. As for the Danish, I liked how the edges of the pastry were crisp, how the cheese in the middle had a subtle sweetness to it, and how the blueberries seemed fresh. But from this, it wasn't anything particularly above average. Arabica definitely has the ambiance for a hip coffee shop, taking on what seemed to be an industrial setting in the Brooklyn area. But from the lemonade and Danish I was able to try, I'd suggest sticking with their coffee. Especially since the menu is mostly made up of coffee and other caffeinated drinks, I would imagine this is their specialty. For what it's worth, the items I had weren't bad by any means. Rather, there are other places where there is more bang for the buck! Perhaps this could have been an off-day, which is why you should come out and give Arabica a try! read more

A popular coffee chain and always been a fan since discovering it in Japan. Their % logo is recognizable and aesthetic. Interior is minimal and clean, true to its minimalistic branding. Ordered an iced matcha because it was 100 degrees outside and needed a cold drink to cool down. It was busy and line was almost out the door. Don't expect the typical sweet matcha drinks you get from other stores. Arabica uses authentic matcha so the drink is pretty concentrated with no sugar added. You can add your own sugar/syrup at the front counter. I had to add a lot of syrup for the matcha to cater to my liking. Just a disclaimer if you are used to Americanized matcha.
