Love this place! Owner so super-nice and friendly. Space is well lit and clean. Everything is home made. Coffees are delicious and perfectly balanced...strong but not bitter or acid-y. Pastries are all amazing and my favorite thing there...the dates! I'm not sure exactly what's in them (sugar? Syrup?) but the sweetness is very mild. Then they are sprinkled with chopped pistachios. Omg these are soooo damn good! You can buy them singly or by the boxful. There's a few tables in the back to sit and relax and enjoy your drink/snack. Highly, highly recommended!

To be honest...I didn't get a chance to try any of the drinks as I was in a rush to be somewhere and my mission was to try the stuffed dates after seeing this place on Social Media. It is a quaint and small coffee shop. The service was nice and took the time to answer questions. I ordered all the stuffed dates they had that day and all are pretty solid. They are on the pricier end but I never had a stuffed date before and I truly enjoyed it. It was my way of being "fake healthy" :P. I would probably revisit again for more stuffed dates and to try a drink. Quick tip: if they run out of complementary dates and busy, they will not replenish so you will miss out on the freebie. They told me they will replenish it later in the day when there is down time so it is kind of first come first serve so get there early! They did tell me all the stuffed dates are made fresh daily.

FANCY DESSERTS: When you take a bite into these pastries, it is a delight and a treat. Firstly, it's immersive, the artistic makeup of these treats are incredible and made to look like untouched foods. The outside is a crispy chocolate shell and the inside is a masterfully mixed cream and pastry. When you bite into these you get an explosion of flavor that leaves a lasting impression. You MUST go here.

I had previously tried their Tart Brûlée, Matcha Almond Bun, and Mushroom Suisse at the other location and found them pretty good, but almost too buttery, especially the Mushroom Suisse. I also vaguely remember getting their "Banana" dessert, as they're best known for their fruit-shaped desserts, and finding it decent. At this spot, I got the $5.95 Pain Saucisse, listed as a buttery pastry filled with beef sausage, pickles, and cheese for a savory, tangy flavor. Similar to the other suisse, it was very buttery, with there also being too much cheese. This led to the whole thing being a tad salty and oily. Outside of that, I liked the smoky sausage, and there was a faint bite from the pickle. If this were balanced better, I would have liked it a lot more. For the price, it's certainly better than the various trash Nathan's carts, but that's not saying much. If I were to go back, I would likely get either the pistachio cube, matcha croissant, or black sesame puff square. In short, a decent, fancy pastry shop.

The counter attendant skipped me completely when I clearly had not ordered yet, and she was the only counter attendant there. I tried not to mind because I just needed coffee anyway, but the line took a bit to come up to the cashier. At no point did anybody try to check with me if I've been served. When I get to the cashier, I placed my coffee order, and asked for an iced coffee with milk and simple syrup (very clear instructions). When the cashier went to prepare my coffee, she came back with a full cup of black coffee. I reminded her that I wanted milk. She then proceeds to take it back to dump part of the coffee to make room for milk (which I get means I have to pour it myself). But at no point did she tell me where the milk and sugar was and they were nowhere in sight. I asked her if the cup had simple syrup already. She begins to attend to the guy behind me and just says no without even looking at me. At this point, I'm annoyed because she was being rude. So I got snappy and said "so you have no sweeteners at all???" and only then did she tell me the sugar and milk are on the side. Please train your counter attendants to at the very least not be rude. It wasn't busy or too early or too late for them to have an attitude. I'm not giving my money to any establishment that doesn't even bother to train staff on common courtesy.
