This is a fantastic spot for Sunday brunch! We waited about 30 to 45 minutes for a table for three, but it was definitely worth the wait. We ordered the chicken pesto wrap, Eggs Benedict, and pancakes--everything was amazing! The waiter was very attentive and provided us with great suggestions for our meal. I would definitely go back again, maybe when it's not raining. =)
Little Collins was my daughter's choice. She planned the timing just right before it was too busy. Her brunch sandwich and home fries looked really good. She certainly enjoyed every bite. I had more than enough for a doggie bag. Mine was a. Broccoli Burrito. It was worthy of the Gas X later! I had not been here in years. I'm not sure if I would go regularly. If I'm with someone that wanted to try Little Collins I would not protest. I wish the space was bigger. Service was timely and with a smile. Go!

Fantastic little lunch/brunch spot! I came with a friend for lunch on a weekday and we were surprised by how busy it was. It's a bit confusing as there are separate waiting lines for dine-in and take-out and given it was a workday, there were plenty of people ordering take-out We were seated fairly quickly a the counter by the window and I ordered the Green Eggs n' Damn after seeing plenty of others getting the same. Loved the spinach & basil omelet stuffed with feta. The basil really comes through and adds a twist to omelet. I got a side of the greek sausage to try too and it was a little salty but yummy with a squeeze of lemon. My friend got the smash, avocado and feta on their thick cut toast. Great for a simple, lighter option!
It's a buzzing place! My friend and I took out breakfast to go, because we did not want to wait for 30 minute line. The latte and cappuccino were tasty and excellent. I ordered the green omelet with spinach and feta and sourdough, delish! Recommend coming here during off hours to avoid lines. Staff were friendly and considerate.

After finishing a late lunch nearby, my friend and I continued our catch-up at Little Collins. It's supposedly an Australian-style cafe, so I went with a flat white. It was good, but not particularly memorable and didn't quite live up to expectations. The little cookie on the side was a nice touch, though. The latte art was intricate and very pretty. We sipped our drinks at the high-top tables, which was much more casual. The sit-down tables were filled with late brunch diners. The cafe seemed pretty and well-liked, so I'm open to try their food in the future.
This venue is a non-regrettable tight squeeze. Located near Grand Central Station. Had a blueberry scones pain au chocolat. Both were fresh with good flavor. Unfortunately, they can not warm the pastries. Their toaster is too small to warm the pastries. Also had the B.E.C Sammie. It's small, fits in the palm of your hand. Flavorful, but the bread was not warm. The home fries were well seasoned but a little to mushy for me. Besides the pastries, I enjoyed the side of bacon best. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The cost, not overly expensive, basicslly Manhattan price point. If you've read my reviews, you recall I end with, "Will I return?" Meh, no thanks. It just wasn't anything to write home about and I'm JUST a train ride away!
We came for the chocolate chip cookie, but they were sold out, so we stayed for the fried chicken sandwich. Fried chicken sandwich: 7/10; It lacked seasoning on its own, but requesting chipotle mayo definitely amped up the flavor. The chicken filet was also on the thinner side, which took away from the overall bite. Service: 8/10; Our server was sweet, and the team (3 total) were hospitable. Ambience: 7/10; Loud, small, and narrow. We could barely hear each other, so it's best suited for takeout.
Came to little Collin's this morning, and it is in fact little. Lol. But it's really cute and I like the blue and white theme. There weren't that many options for sitting, so you have to be prepared to wait for a second for a table. Thankfully, upon arrival, we were able to sit down almost immediately as a couple tables opened up. The menu is pretty short and sweet. They have sandwiches, pancakes, French toast, potatoes, bakery options, etc. it seems that they are more of a coffee shop, so there were plenty of coffee and tea options. The homefries were really good, just a little oily and not as crispy as I would've liked. The restaurant makes their own jam, which seemed to be dragon fruit, and it was tasty but i don't think it went well with my sandwich. My friend gave her French toast a 7.5.
This is a long overdue from our trip to NY. Little Collins is such a good brunch spot. The food was really good and nicely presented, especially if you're in the mood for something a little treat. Everything tasted delicious (even though it's sweet) It does get busy, but the vibe is lively, which honestly works for brunch. Definitely a solid place for brunch if you are visiting
Came here looking for a quick but hearty bite to eat and left with my heart and tummy full! The place serves as both a dine in and take out place but there's not much division between the two. It's very quaint and modern but the best part was the food! I got shakshuka and while it didn't taste authentic it was flavorful and hearty! I scrapped the bowl clean! I also tried their BEC and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. Their matcha tonic I watched them make right in front of me and their pour over coffee is served in a French press. So many little elements I enjoyed about this place. Great service!
What an amazing place for breakfast or brunch! I went there for breakfast however the place was packed and I couldn't wait for a table so my only option was taking it to go. I got the Holy Shishito which was scrambled eggs with shishito peppers, cheddar, lemon aioli and chili flakes on a piece of sourdough bread. What an amazing and full of flavor sandwich! I truly enjoyed eating this! I'm certainly coming back here to try other things on the menu! read more
Probably the best flat white in Grand Central area. I am keen on counter culture beans and you can actually taste the beans, which I feel is so often missing from other flat whites nearby that are too milky. At $5 pre-tax, it's still manageable, but from a volume standpoint is probably 6 oz if I had to guess. I've never dined in because it's open kitchen and I would imagine smelling like it after I left, but the staff have always been nice and are efficient. Recommend! read more

I had high hopes considering how good the reviews are, but honestly it was just okay! We came on a Sunday around noon and were told the wait would be 30-40 minutes. It was way too hot and crowded inside for us to wait, so they told us we could just come back in 20 minutes to check on our spot. I wish they had a call list or a texting service to let us know when we were up. We came back at the 20 minute mark and thankfully were seated pretty quickly after that. Thankfully the dining area was cooler than the waiting area. For food I got The Smash and added a poached egg. My bf got the breakfast burrito (he would have gotten the eggs Benedict, but it didn't look like they had Cholula). I had read reviews that this was the best avocado toast in NY, but it was maybe my least favorite of the few I tried! Could just be me, but it had more of an acidic flavor than I like. My last bite was also a mouthful of feta which I had thought was egg lol, it was honestly hard for me to get down. My bf's breakfast burrito was maybe the smallest he's ever had, but it tasted decent. 5/5 for service, and the ambiance (though hot) was cute. I'd be tempted to give them another try because of how good the reviews are, but I wouldn't get their avocado toast again. read more

Came here for a sit down on the quicker side lunch with my friend who needed to catch a bus back to his hometown later in the day. He picked this place as we were looking for places near where he needed to get the bus. I was the first one here and so when I walked in I was a bit shocked of how crowded it was and that there were no tables. Yes it was at lunch time so not sure why I was shocked of how crowded it was. Put my name down for a table for three. Had to wait about 10 or so min. We finally got to sit at our table and the waiter came over quick to us and asked if we knew what we wanted. We said we were waiting for the third person and we didn't know yet what we wanted. Our waiter seemed a tad out of it. Not in a bad way I am not sure how to explain it. Anyways, we finally got to order and I got just eggs over easy with a side of bacon. It came with toast and butter. my friends had ordered a breakfast burrito and than other friend ordered eggs Benedict with bacon. His came out with what looked to be lox but he did not send it back as we did not really have time to waite for them to re do it he was ok with the fish. Good thing he had no allergies like I do. My other friend who got the breakfast burrito seemed like she was enjoying hers. My eggs over easy were fine nothing special kinda tasteless though. It came with one small little package of butter that was pretty much melted as it was on the same plate as the warm toast and eggs. This was kinda annoying. You got also 3 small pieces of bacon. I took a bite of one of the pieces and did not want to finish them as that one bite tasted a little like fish even though I told the waiter my allergies. Not sure if it is cooked in same oil or something as fish or what but I did not finish them. To drink I had just a regular iced latte. Comes in a small glass which I was not expecting. It was nothing special. My other friend got a bloody mary which looked pretty good. And my third friend got a glass of Orange juice. All in all, this is not somewhere I will be running back too. If I am in the area and am starving or need a caffeine pick me up I will think about it. It is also near Grand Central station. One last thing is that this place gets crowded fast and can be a bit noisy at times. read more
Little Collins is a stone's throw from my old office in Midtown East off of 3rd near GC and the Chrysler building. I used to grab coffee here in the mornings when I was visiting the office but decided to sit and eat one morning. I was looking for something a big lighter and guilt free from my daily bagel diet in NY and opted for the granola bowl and a macchiato. The coffee was smooth, creamy, and delightful. The granola bowl was nice and tangy from the labneh, sweetened with vanilla and maple, and has a nice crunch from the coconut, granola, and brûlée banana on top. It's always busy, not a place to linger too long, and has a nice variety to their menu. read more

Australian coffee shop in Midtown on Lexington. It's small, quaint, and most importantly (to me), it's open early. So get there early, because it filled up Sunday morning (by 8 am). I enjoyed The Sweet Uncle Fred, a toasted banana bread with ricotta, berries, honey and almond brittle along with a tiny macchiato. I usually don't have sweet breakfasts, but I did love Sweet Uncle Fred. read more
Found this on Yelp while visiting NYC. The place is a little crammed, so I actually had dinner with two women to my left (one talked the ENTIRE time - no breath taken in two hours) and the couple on my right was on a first date, after meeting online. I learned way too much about four people that I really didn't need to know. Service by Amber was great. Excellent Mediterrean Panini with a hefty price tag at $17.50 and pretty decent Gyro at $18.50. French Fries were tasty. Cute place, nice service, expensive sandwiches. For a panini, gyro and french fries we paid $75.00. Oooph! read more

Took a chance on this place one random morning after an overnight sleepover in Manhattan with my bestie. The food picture porn was enough to encourage us to walk here un-caffeinated without reservations. It was about a 20 minute wait initially, but were then told it was shorter if we opted to sit in the bar stools by the front window, which we quickly said yes to. I wish they had a hook to hang your handbag, but we managed. Our waitress was friendly and took our orders quickly and didn't hover. Everything coming out of that kitchen looked too good to eat, and was stoked for our turn. The overall vibe is organized chaos. Families laughing and dogs in strollers mixed with the morning rush of hurried plates and refilling of coffees. My latte was not only beautiful but delicious. It almost instantly made me more personable as I am not a morning glory. My bestie had some food restrictions, and our waitress was very patient and noted with care her concerns. Our breakfast overall was savory, beautiful, filling and tasty. I practiced some mindful eating, and felt like it heightened my experience. I quickly referred this place to three friends mid-chew. Little Collin's is the perfect spot for a brunch. Located right by Grand Central, makes it easy to get to. It can get quite busy however worth the wait! Waited less than 30 mins on a busy weekend for a walk in, staff keeps things moving and keeps things clean. Simple decor yet amazing food. The breakfast burrito was delicious - with potatoes, chorizo, cheese and eggs wrapped in a soft tortilla. The shishito toast was unique. Never really had that combo however was incredibly delicious. The star of the show was the French toast. Quite possibly the best one I've ever had. The bread was soft, crispy on the edges and the cream was sweet enough topped with fresh berries. Honestly it was good. Came on a weekend morning and had to wait like 40 minutes but it wasn't bad. Inside is super cute there's also a bakery takeout section. Service was good as well. Slightly pricey but it's sit down I guess. The pancakes whipped cream and like sticky walnuts + hazelnuts were soooo good. This was my fav dish. The hazelnuts + sticky walnuts really elevated the dish imo with the crunch. Also ofc as always whipped cream is so yummy. The pancake itself was alright and decently fluffy. The breakfast burrito tortilla itself was good. The burrito probably could've had more / better meat. I think the chorizo lacked fat and oil. The salsa was good though. In general it tasted relatively clean if that's up your alley. My friend said his salmon eggs Benedict was also very good but I didn't try. read more

Came here on a rainy weekend day at around 1pm and was able to get sat right away. It's a cozy little spot with really great, solid food. The B.L.A.T was so good with the crispy bacon and the sweet uncle fred was on a banana bread that was moist and not too sweet. The buzzy bloom had an orange-y flavor with a cold brew after taste that I enjoyed, though it may not be for everyone if you don't like orange mixed with coffee. Overall a solid spot that I'll keep coming back to and hope to try more of their baked goods. read more

Went on a Sat ~8:30am without reservation and the place was mostly packed. We were fortunately seated within ~10min. The ambiance is comfortable. Got a hot latte, but the glass cup it came in has no handle so it was difficult to hold (hence one star off). Also got a chicken sandwich (special for the day) and it was delicious - the chicken is juicy and flavorful. The other items on the menu also look delicious. Would come back again but would not get a hot latte (unless I specify to have it in a cup with handle). read more
Breakfast, Day 2 We stopped at Little Collins because it was perfectly located on our route to our next sightseeing stop--and it did not disappoint! I'm still dreaming about The Smash--a delicious combo of avocado and feta on multigrain toast, topped with pepitas, mint, and chili flakes. Absolute perfection. Wow, this place is busy! Came for brunch on a holiday Monday, and it was packed. Managed to snag a spot at the window. Split the chicken pesto wrap, kale salad, and a side of fried halloumi with my friend- and it was plentyyy of food! Also got a matcha latte and americano (which came with a cute frothed milk bottle). All the food was delicious! Standouts were definitely fried halloumi (loveee) and the salsa verde dipping sauce which came with the chicken pesto wrap (tangy and fresh- honestly could've drank this haha). The salad was yummy too. Drinks were pretty but tasted fine, nothing to write home about. Service was surprisingly good for being so busy! But man this place was packed the entire time we were in. Would come back to try their breakfast menu though! read more

Needed somewhere to dine for breakfast before heading to the Sherri show and landed here! It's a small but busy cafe with limited seating! Waited about 10-15 mins before being sat. I ordered Eggs Benny with mushrooms w/ a side of potatoes. My meal was a 10/10. I ordered a Chai Latte to go, that was delicious as well. read more
This place is hopping on Saturday mornings- be prepared for a bit of a wait for a table (we were party of four). Food is great though so well worth the wait. Would recommend Mary's Mushrooms, the shakshouka, pancakes, and salmon rosti. The sourdough toast is great. Service was quick. read more

EXCELLENT COFFEE & COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHY FOOD MENU Cheerful, intelligent and helpful service. My Avocado mash was delicious, healthy, adorned with seeds and red pepper. My Burundi bean of the day macchiato was awesomely different. read more

It's not that type of establishment. They are a small restaurant and you can just walk in. They tend to get pretty busy and packed, especially during lunch hours so takeout is convenient if you can't snag a seat. They have many "on the go" options.…

Do you have any organic food options? Your restaurant came up on an organic list yet, I saw nothing in your description or menu saying anything about organic food options.
Is there WiFi and seating available?
I'm not sure about WiFi but seating is VERY tight and limited. If you sit down, you'll constantly be bumping elbows with patrons waiting in line or ones waiting for you to leave.
