I came here for happy hour on a random Wednesday and it was packed! They have a great happy hour menu. Cocktails are $8 and food is $6. Oysters are $2 each. I also love that happy hour ends at 7 pm. Happy hour is available at the bar/lounge and it's a seat yourself situation. We got: - cosmopolitan: pretty strong - margarita - goat cheese croquettes: comes with 4 pieces and these were yummy! - beef sliders: comes with 2, nothing special - oysters: we got 6 pieces. It came with lemon and horseradish

Sarabeth's environment is always comfortable enough for a casual meal with friends or a business lunch or happy hour. On my recent visit the host was a bit unwelcoming, but did her job, which wasn't the greatest first impression, but the water server and food server were much more pleasant for weekday lunch during restaurant week. The outdoor seating is currently under scaffolding, which makes it a fairly safe bet in pleasant temperatures even if the weather changes quickly. Inside was a bit too chilly even for a warm summer day. A table next to me outside had their dog with them, so dogs are welcome for outside seating. Ordering from the restaurant week lunch menu introduced me to some new and seasonal menu items not on the regular menu. I went for the tuna lettuce wraps and blackened jumbo shrimp with polenta. The tuna lettuce wraps had a very fresh flavor with most of the savory and salt coming from the truffle chips on top. The blackened jumbo shrimp looked like a small portion at first but in the end was quite filling and very flavorful. 3 good experiences, 2 meh experiences on this visit and previous visits makes this a convenient and decent option when I'm in the area, but rarely makes it my first choice for a dining experience.

This was our first time dining at Sarabeth's, and it was crowded for the weekend brunch. We had a reservation and arrived about 10 minutes early. We checked in with the hostess staffs, and waited. After everyone waiting for their tables have been seated, including the ones who arrived after us, it was just us two waiting... And then one of the staffs came over and asked what our name was for the reservation. I guess we have been forgotten...? So, after waiting 20 minutes patiently, we were finally taken to our table. We ordered Tiramisu Martini to go with our brunch, strong with a punch of espresso to wake you up. For food, we ordered one savory and one sweet dish. The server asked if we wanted any sides like bacon, and we thought "why not?" so we added bacon on the side. To our surprise, the thinly-sliced bacon was whooping $14! Should've checked the menu first... Lemon & Ricotta Pancakes were perfectly griddled, if that's a word. But, I didn't get much of lemon nor ricotta flavor. It tasted more like a regular pancake, with a hint of lemon, which was a bit disappointing. Adult Grilled Cheese came with tomato soup. I was a bit taken aback at the small potion size of the sandwich. Good thing it came with a nice sized soup. The sandwich was loaded with gooey, glorious cheese. The tomato soup provided extra substance to otherwise a small sandwich. It was more filling than it looked, quite tasty, and we enjoyed it. Overall, it was a "ok" brunch. We did get full enough from our cocktails and food. I wouldn't say the food was as good as I wanted them to be, especially the pancakes. The price point felt a bit high too, especially the side of bacon. Most of all, the way front staffs acted, how we were kind of forgotten while they just chatted among themselves, that made us feel not welcomed nor appreciated as customers.

Sarabeth's for brunch is a must during the holidays. We started with the muffin basket which includes an assortment of muffins and their jams with butter. I had the fruit bowl which was ripe and a large serving. My son had the breakfast bowls which he loved, the smoked salmon and pickled onions were a delight. Hubby had the farmers omelet which was delicious (snagged a bite) the Gruyère was creamy and flavorful. Great service rounded out our visit and we got the apricot preserves to go. Until next time!

I went here for my birthday breakfast and it was a great and elevated option as opposed to a diner or bagel spot in NY. I've heard great things and wanted to try it myself. I do want to go back maybe for lunch or dinner since the breakfast, super delicious, was pretty basic. Good quality and the service was great, but nothing "impressive" to write about. They did check our coats which I thought was a very upscale thing to offer for breakfast service. It was a huge place too, nice bathrooms, and you can tell they can get very busy.

This place isn't half bad - decent food, decent service, good atmosphere. Definitely feels like a chain but decent option for a last minute res if you're nearby

I came here for a private work lunch and was served a great 3 course meal! The space was big enough to fit at least 30 of us and it wasn't too cramped. For the meal, I had the tomato soup, classic eggs benedict and the dessert was their assorted cookies. I was pretty happy with my choices and thought the tomato soup was great and I actually wanted more of it. The eggs benedict were solid but I wouldn't say it was anything spectacular. Overall, it was a good brunch menu but I do wish the dessert had been something other than cookies. To me, this place is probably more about the aesthetics and ambience. When looking at the a la carte menu, I don't think the menu is as creative and very typical of a brunch menu. Overall, the food is decent and you will have a solid meal.

Went in for Mother's Day brunch. I got a chopped salad with chicken. The chicken was RAW. I understand it's busy, but this is unacceptable and dangerous. I ate at least one piece (and a bulk of the salad) before realizing it was not cooked properly. When we flagged it to the manager all we got was a "sorry", and an offer to comp my salad, how generous! Won't be coming back.

The food was what I expected for a quaint breakfast spot. The flavors were fine and the service was actually really good. I didn't care for my mushroom egg dish but I was trying something I wouldn't typically try. The sausage was pretty good and I did enjoy the latte.

The location is great and easy to get to and the restaurant is right on the corner. When you walk in the restaurant is decorated nicely for the fall with fall foliage and pumpkins. The restaurant was very busy, but of course it's Saturday morning and it was time for brunch. The staff were excellent friendly, engaging and helpful. We were a large party we had a group of nine but we had reservations. They seated us right away at alarge table towards the front of the restaurant near the bar. Our server was one poin he had waters out to us right away and he came immediately and took our drink orders he explained the menu his likes his favorites , and got our service going right away. I love that they have bottomless coffee. We had a carafe of five flower mimosa, which was delicious. It's made of four flower juice, St. Germaine and sparkling wine. A few of us had the brunch special which was the mixed berry compote French toast with whipped cream cheese and Doerfler's organic maple syrup. The French toast was light and fluffy and not soggy, which was just delicious and a mixture of the berries and the syrup was just right. We also ordered applewood bacon they gave you a very large serving, which surprised me and the bacon was some of the best bacon I've had. I have to say.. We also had the deviled eggs but they didn't taste that great they weren't seasoned very well. They were just OK. I wouldn't get those again. Three of us had the smoked salmon omelette, which was perfect. Mine was cooked hard and it was light and fluffy was perfect. It wasn't too eggy and it wasn't too fishy, and it had capers in it as well which really added great flavor. All in all some of the was great and some was so so but the service was outstanding.

Everything was delicious and at the same time very healthy. It's great to find a place where you can enjoy food and feel good about your choice. Will definitely come back!

$75 per person for Thanksgiving meal. The turkey was SOOOO juicy and amazing. All the sides were phenomenal, especially the sausage stuffing. Only thing missing was Mac and cheese

I stopped by for lunch on a weekday as a walk-in and had no issues with wait time since it wasn't too busy. The atmosphere was lively but not overcrowded, making for a really enjoyable dining experience--though I suspect the timing played a big part in that. Service was quick and efficient, with my waiter being both attentive and friendly. I opted for the lunch prix fixe and was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. Everything I ordered was delicious, with the steak cooked exactly how I liked it. The calamari was great too, glad they didn't remove the tentacles cuz those are my favorite part of the calamari. The lavender lemonade was the perfect refreshing drink for a warm spring day--both flavorful and thirst-quenching. The bathrooms were spotless and had a whimsical, thoughtfully designed vibe, which I really appreciated. A clean and spacious restroom is always a plus! Overall, though expensive, but a really great experience, and I'll definitely be back.

My date ordered the hanger steak and said it was absolutely amazing. Only hiccup: his first glass of wine he got came out hot... like, microwave-level warm. Fortunately, the server brought a new (cold) one and the rest of the meal was smooth sailing. Service was friendly, the vibe was homey and relaxed, and the food was solid across the board. Would definitely come back, especially for that salad and another round of grenadine magic.

It was our first time eating at a Friedman's location. It had a nice diner feel to it, with a mix of booths and tables. The brunch menu has a variety of breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and burgers, starters, and entrees (fish tacos, grain bowl, fried chicken). I like that several of the items are naturally gluten free, and some can be made gluten free by request. We decided to go with three breakfast items from the brunch menu: I got the shakshuka, my sister got the Nova Benny, and we got the lemon ricotta pancakes to share. All 3 dishes were great. The shashuka came with grilled ciabatta, perfect for dipping into the sunny side eggs and tomato sauce. My sister loved that the poached eggs and smoked salmon of the Nova Benny came on top of a crispy potato latke. The pancakes were fluffy and the lemon ricotta and lemon zest elevated their flavor. Our server was friendly and attentive, and he asked us if we had any allergies when he took our order. He came by several times to check on us and refill water.
