So glad my friend and i decided to try this place. It was packed, but only took 15 mins to get seated. We had a drink at the bar while we waited. Both drinks were delish, but the lemonade boozy drink was so refreshing. We ordered the eggplant ricotta and the waiter suggested we get the sesame flatbread. IT WAS SO GOOD WE ORDERED A SECOND. We also tried the vodka dipping sauce and OH MY GOD..just at delish! Highly recommend this place.

I stopped by Parla for pizza and honestly--what an experience. From the moment I walked in, the service stood out. While I was waiting for a table, multiple staff members checked in on me and even offered a drink, which made me feel genuinely taken care of before I even sat down. Once seated, that level of attentiveness didn't miss a beat. The team was warm, welcoming, and consistently made sure everything was just right without being overbearing. We ordered the Hot Hunny pizza and the Burrizza--both completely different but equally incredible. The flavors were unique, well-balanced, and honestly just exquisite. The ambiance tied everything together perfectly--super cozy, inviting, and with a cute, stylish vibe that makes you want to stay a while. Safe to say, I've found a new go-to spot in the city. Next time though, I'm definitely making a reservation!

Cocktails/ Food ordered: -Espresso Martini -Mafaldine Alla Vodka -"Hot Hunny" Square pizza Parla is always buzzing, constantly packed whenever I visit. It took 3 New York visits to finally have the opportunity to dine here. But even with how busy it was, the service was on point. Our server was super attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed. We managed to snag a table outside, which was perfect because the weather was just gorgeous. It was so nice to sit out there, soaking up the sun and enjoying the vibe of everything going on around us. It really added to the whole experience. Honestly, if you're looking for a spot with a lively atmosphere, great service, and the chance to enjoy a meal outdoors, you really can't go wrong. Espresso Martini: You get that classic rich, bold espresso flavor right away, perfectly balanced by the vodka. But what really sets it apart is the cacao, which adds this lovely, deep chocolate note, and then, boom, a bright, zesty hint of lemon at the end. It's such a refreshing and sophisticated twist on a classic! Mafaldine Alla Vodka: The pasta itself had this amazing, almost wavy shape that really held onto that creamy vodka sauce. Every bite gave you a great chew. The sauce was super creamy with that perfect little kick from the chili flakes. But the real game-changer? Those toasted sesame seeds! They added such an unexpected, delightful crunch and nutty flavor that just worked so well with the fresh basil and savory parmesan. Seriously, it's a must-try. "Hot Hunny" Square pizza: The crust was seriously perfect , you get this amazing fluffiness that just melts in your mouth, but then it transitions into this super satisfying, crispy bottom. That combo with the tangy classic tomato sauce and pepperoni. Then you get that creamy, fresh stracciatella cheese melting over everything, which is just amazing..... And the Calabrian chili honey? That's the star! It gives this perfect sweet and spicy drizzle that brings all the flavors together and makes each bite exciting.

My husband and I came here early in the evening. I'm embarrassed to say, I didn't expect much from this restaurant, but I was happy to be proven wrong. We began our dinner with a plate of Caesar salad. It was wonderfully fresh, the lettuce crisp, the dressing light, with a slight nuttiness from the toasted sesame seeds and a salty funk from the anchovies. For our main course, we ordered the hot honey pizza, which we both loved. Greasy as pizza should be, the focaccia bread thick, crisp, and airy, sweet from the drizzle yet savory from the pepperoni, each bite was a mouthwatering delight. To end our time here, we ordered the chocolate sherry gelato, which was the best gelato I had ever tasted I enjoyed the lightness of the chocolate - it wasn't too dark or too rich. The gelato itself was so creamy, every scoop was heaven. I came here with low expectations and left fully satisfied. I would dine here again.

On entering, the mood was lively and welcoming. Started by sharing a Parla Chopped (Tuscan kale, red onion, celery, cucumbers, olives, chickpeas and delicious calamari with a tasty Italian ranch dressing). We followed it with a basic Pepe Bianco. The crust was outstanding and the mozzarella, Parmesan and black pepper added the perfect flavors. We were unable to finish the pie and the leftovers made for a very special breakfast!. Need to return to try other appetizers and their pastas

Visited here for lunch with some friends on a Sunday afternoon - we had a 2:30 reservation but weren't seated til 3 pm - the restaurant is tiny but the staff is so kind, they were extremely apologetic about the wait time but didn't want to rush the other party out as they also had young children (so did we). We ordered an app - chicken Milanese salad, and went straight for the pizzas. We got hot honey, pie dye, the NY classic, and angry roni, SO SO good!!! We thought the 3 pies would have been too much, but we actually ended up having leftovers! The food was absolutely fantastic - I was a huge fan of the deep dish style pizza, so buttery, crispy, and soft all at the same time! Huge bonus points for 2 massive and clean bathrooms with a very chic baby changing table! Will def be back!

5/5 stars. SO good. All the flavors, the ambiance, the friendly service. Everything was amazing. We got the ricotta starter. Delicious. It's ricotta with fried rosemary and aged balsamic. Truly the perfect bite. Tip: be sure to ask for bread because otherwise it will literally just come as the serving of ricotta. I got the Lumache Pomodoro which is tomato, melted garlic, stracciatella, and basil pesto. I ordered as is, minus the pesto. This pasta dish was SO good. Everything tasted so fresh and the sauce was divine. I'm sure it would've been amazing with the pesto but I personally don't love pesto so I did without. My friend got the Hot Hunny pizza - which is clearly the hot item here - and she absolutely loved it. We were headed to a show so we didn't box it up for takeout. Beware it's huge! You could easily split it. Not pictured: the chocolate x pistachio gelato. The perfect dessert to top it all off. The perfect portion size for the two of us to share...even after being so full from the amazing dinner! I could not recommend this place more.

Love Parla !! The food is always great! We got the burrata (kinda a small serving to share and you gotta order bread on the side). The hot hunny pizza is our favorite. Service is prompt, at times hovery, but I get that they try to get people in and out since I've never been when it wasn't busy! Ambiance is cute but tiny and not very Ada accessible.

Really wanted to love Parla as it seems like reservations here are hard to secure and it's the newest Italian spot in the city however the experience and food fell pretty flat. We've attempted a walk in on the most popular days and times aka dinner time, yet have always come to a "It'll be a 40-60 min wait" which is crazy given that there's a chance the long wait will not lead to a positive outcome. We eventually had reservations and it's safe to say that Parla is good for what it is if you're in the UWS and craving a pasta pizza combo and are either riding solo or stumble upon an off time to dine. We ordered- Lumache Pomodoro NY Classic The setting is very intimate and can get quite loud however it truly felt like we were at the hottest spot in the neighborhood, so no surprise there. The pizza was quite dry and we essentially had to dip each of our slices in the pasta just so it could taste a bit less...dry. I thought you'd get more bang out of your buck by ordering a round pizza, however maybe flavor wise the square pizzas could be better. Maybe would stop by again for pasta, but begrudgingly.

A phenomenal experience! Service was great from start to finish. Shoutout to the manager at the front. We had a short a wait even though we had a reservation, but they brought us water and quickly took us to our seats once a table opened up. Waiter was awesome, telling us all his favorites which led to us buying the barriza. The pizza was super crispy, flavorful and I'll be back for another. Ambiance is nice inside. It can get packed, but enjoyed the lighting and decor. Highly recommend this place to anyone near.

Loved the food here. The pasta was tasty fresh and zesty. The pizza was delicious as well and light. The service was attentive and wait staff were very welcoming and polite. Would recommend!

So tasty! We were nearby and looking for dinner. The photos and reviews on Yelp looked so good we knew we had to head over. Their site said walk-ins were welcome and it was a Monday night so off we went. They were packed, but we were able to grab a seat at the bar. Started with the Parla chopped which we delicious. The pasta was amazing, you can tell they make it fresh in house, and the pizza did not disappoint. Save room for a little soft serve for dessert. A lovely spot to grab dinner!

The place was buzzing on a Friday! Definitely not a place you can walk in expecting to get seats, I highly recommend making reservations. It is a vibey pizza parlor. The environment was filled with birthday celebrations, date nights, etc. Definitely a spot if you want an elevated dining experience but don't want to be overly pretentious. I ordered to go because it was too crowded. The pizza was just fine, I felt like it lacked cheese and probably didn't travel too well. However the Chicken Milanese was a rockstar! It was beautifully battered and the salad was refreshing, highly suggest. During the wait for pickup we ordered drinks. I am obsessed with the cocktail menu and want to try more when I go. Worth having a couple.

Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer. For drinks, she brought over someone more seasoned, who quickly helped guide us based on our preferred taste profiles. Her suggestions were very good. The mushroom burger was the highlight for me. It was a little salty, but the crispy mushroom and soft bun were a great combination. I honestly wished I had more than half. The wings were okay. They were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but coated in a Dorito-like powder that made them very messy.
