Came here for the Summer Fridays pop up and the line was long- waited for about an hour and a half. I paid $13+ for a tiny salted mocha butter and oat latte and honestly, it was pretty good and stands out from the coffee I typically drink. I'm just not sure I could justify paying that much for that small amount of coffee every time. I'm aware that price also includes the lippy we got but for a first time experience it was worth it! Their stand is so cute and you can definitely spend time with the girlies and take cute flicks.
Ducked in from the rain and found exactly what I needed. Cafe Paradiso is neatly and secretly tucked away in plain sight, easy to miss, impossible to forget once you find it. The ambiance is full Italiano, transports you the second you walk in. Service was quick and pleasant, no wait, no fuss, just good energy. Had the cortado: silky smooth, creamy, hot, with that espresso hit right at the back of your throat. Exactly what a rainy day called for. Small spot, big charm. Worth seeking out
Soooooooo I saw the Summer Fridays x Caffè Paradiso collab online and immediately made it my mission to go check it out because it's definitely something I would never go out of my way to do unless I was in NYC lol. We went in the morning and got there around 8:30-8:40 AM. The line literally looped around THREE streets, but I was determined and my partner was committed to the bit as well. We got to place our order while we were still in line about 1.5 or 2 hrs in and then we paid about 35 mins before we got to the front of the line and got our drinks. I think our drinks were finally ready at 11:08 AM, so we waited around 2.5 hours total. The price was $26.13 for two salted mocha butter & oat lattes. I will say, the coffee itself wasn't that great in my opinion, but I expected that since it's premade coffee being dispensed from a tap. Regardless, i'd still say it was worth it for the free Summer Fridays LBB and it helped us kill time while the stores we wanted to visit slowly started opening up. Highly recommend if you have time to kill while in the city and it's incentivized like this lol
Ordered: Salted Brown Butter & Oat Latte "On Tap" (~$8): iced espresso w house-made salted butter oat milk Mint Matcha (~$8): matcha w oat milk and fresh mint panna Aya's take: Caffe Paradiso is one of the few places in NYC that has gone viral but knows how to control their lines! There was probably 20 people ahead of me at 2:45pm on a Sunday, and within literally 12 minutes, I was leaving with my order. Kudos to them! I fear the Salted Brown Butter & Oat Latte "On Tap" is delicious. It's the perfect blend of sweet and salty, and honestly for that price, my only complaint is that I wish it came with their panna. I also tried the Mint Matcha; their matcha is surprisingly decent too. Not the same quality as other matcha spots in the area but still solid and the fresh mint panna was refreshing, creamy, and would be great in an espresso-based drink too. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
I came solely for the SALTED BROWN BUTTER OAT LATTE. At first glance, the line seems long & there is still always a line here. However, it does move at a fairly decent pace. Once you get closer to the front, they ask if you are here exclusively for the brown butter oat latte to-go. You paid prior to getting it & they prep it for you on the spot. The process was super easy. For the drink itself, it's phenomenal. It's truly a shame that it's one size cause I def would have wanted the bigger size if they offered. It taste great on the first sip & it's really worth the hype. It's well sweetened. You can definitely taste the buttery-ness of the latte. It sounds weird but somehow it works. Overall, I would come back & would recommend it for coffee lovers.

Definitely the best latte I have had in NYC. I will forever be dreaming of the brown sugar oat milk latte. So rich and creamy with the perfect amount of sweetness.
I liked this! Coffee was smooth and they perfected the brown sugar flavor without it being overly sweet. The novelty of it was really just it coming out of a tap lol.
Lines were long, even on weekdays and in afternoons. The famous iced salted butter oat milk latte was sweeter than I expected, and had almost a bit of a sour aftertaste. Got it two days in a to confirm that I actually didn't really like it that much, so I can confidently say that it didn't necessarily live up to the hype for me personally. I will say however that it reminded me a lot of the iced butterscotch latte from Cafein in Centreville, VA (if any DMV locals wanted a closer alternative), which I also don't particularly love LOL
SO GOOD perfect each time and neverrrr upsets my stomach lol. Perfect blend and the staff is always great. Don't be intimidated by the line, it always goes fast and the staff/system is very organized and efficient. Well worth the hype! The best coffee like no other!

This place was amazing! We ordered the "Salted Brown Butter & Oat Latte" over ice which was very delectable. The service was quick, and the staff were friendly too! Highly recommend this place to get your caffeine fix.
Went for the viral brown sugar oat milk latte. Stood in line for the drink to be poured out of a tap. Tasty, but would've appreciated a hand mixed drink (understandably this would make the line extreeeemely long). Also, while we were in line we witnessed the barista give 2 girls 2 free drinks after jumping the line. Thumbs down for that!
I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but the Salted Brown Butter Oat Latte is 100% worth the wait! My friend and I stopped by at around 11am on a Sunday and there was around a 20 minute wait. The line moves really fast and is only for the brown butter drink. The coffee was so incredibly creamy and had the perfect balance between sweet and salty. Highly recommend!

Caffe Paradiso is a very small cafe right across from Elizabeth Street Garden. It's a very small place from what I could see outside from the coffee tap station. I came here specifically for the Salted Brown Butter & Oat Latte. I know this drink got very popular from TikTok/social media but I was hoping the line wasn't too long. It was a bit rainy out when I arrived and because the cafe is so small, the line was out the door. Thankfully there were 2 employees taking orders for those waiting in line, one of which was looking specifically for those who wanted to order this latte on tap. I think that's great customer service because I wasted very little time in the line because that's truly all I wanted. I placed my order and paid for the latte with the employee from the line. She then handed me a token that allowed me to walk to the front of the line and trade in for the famous drink. I'm rating it 5-stars because the whole process was very quick, and the drink was very good! It's definitely on the sweeter side and it is a smaller drink than I expected, but it was so delicious and creamy. I definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area and in the mood for this kind of latte, and will be back if the line isn't too long. read more

I finally stopped at the viral Caffe Paradiso ( There is another one with a similar name so make sure you visit the location with a double F) . The day I came the line was not super long . They hand you a menu while in line so, by the time you reach the front you place your order and pay . The ambiance is fast paced & there is a very small seating area inside ( maybe 3-4 chairs) . You wait inside at the counter while they make your drink . The very viral coffee is the salted brown butter & oat latte which I ordered to go. They add the salt and the rest comes out on tap. I also ordered the Bombardino which is an espresso with egg yolk . ( Don't knock it till you try it) . They do recommend you drink that it there so that's what I did ! It was delicious. The latte only comes in one size and after a few sips it's gone but, it does taste delicious. I'll be back in NYC later this year so I'm I'll def be back . read more

Good escape from the rain. Drinks 4/5 Happy with the sugar level in our drinks. We don't like them too sweet with a little of that bitterness still in there. Service 5/5 I liked that our waitress got the hint that we only wanted coffee and didn't press us to order anything else or rush us out. Ambiance 5/5 Had a lovely seat at the window with Julliard as our view and our backs to the dining area. Felt nice and private. read more

Best coffee I've ever had -- it is absolutely worth the hype! It took about 10 minutes to get our coffee, but every second of the wait was worth it. The texture was incredibly smooth and silky, not heavy at all, yet rich and satisfying at the same time. I'm honestly not a coffee expert, so I can't explain exactly what made it so special, but it felt like heaven in a cup. One sip and I understood why people wait in line for it. If you're in New York, please, please get it. Highly recommend! read more
Oh Caffe Paradiso, I will miss you. I'm so sad that I'm visiting New York and only had time to stop by here ONCE. I expected a long line out the door but to my surprise, I waited less than 5 minutes. Since I knew what I wanted, I got to "skip" the line since everyone else was reviewing the menu. They have a tap outside for people that only ordered the salted brown butter and oat latte! Drink: Salted Brown Butter & Oat Latte (9/10): This was honestly one of the best lattes I've had in a while. It was perfectly sweet with a hit of nuttiness and saltiness to each sip. I was in New York last week and made a stop here since I'd been seeing it a lot on social media. I got their signature salted brown butter and oat on tap and added the cold foam. It was good but not amazing. I think I'd go for a latte instead of the tap next time. My son ordered their strawberry matcha and wasn't too happy with their milk to matcha ratio so all in all not the best first experience however the line wasn't that bad and we got our drinks quickly! read more

Yeah, I was one of the victims that came across social media videos (on IG, not Tiktok) about their popular Salted Brown Butter and Oat Latte on tap. I was prepared for the long line but coming on a Wednesday afternoon helps as there were only about 4-5 people ahead of us. Like most places in NY, there's not many seating here. I think I saw less than five high top seats by the barista island tabletop and they were all occupied. So I ordered the latte on tap while my friend ordered an iced Bergamot Honey Latte. Although the iced Salted Brown Butter and Oat Latte was good, it was personally not for me due to how sweet it is. While my friend preferred my drink, I liked hers better due to it simply being less sweet. Not faulting the drink itself, just not my personal liking. read more

I really liked it the first time I had it! But I did wait in a 45 minute line in the heat for this drink so I was hesitant to say it was worth it. I came again a few days later on a weekday and didn't have to wait longer than 5 minutes! But that day, it was a bit too salty (I was getting really big salt chunks in every sip). Definitely worth trying but see if you can avoid the long line! If you do decide to wait it out, it does move pretty quick. Also I didn't love their other cafe drinks so stick to the salted brown butter oat latte! read more

Super cool because they take your order in line and then if you get the draft latte then they give you a chip to go up to the stand. If not, you receive your order inside. Yes it is that good. Yes it is worth the wait in line (get there early, the line moves quickly), yes it's coffee on tap but it's really good, yes it's a social media worthy experience that's living up to the popularity!! If you are on the socials, then no doubt you've seen this viral NYC coffee on tap spot. I love trying coffee spots so I knew I had to visit. I hopped on the train and got there around an hour after they opened and the line was only about 15 people long. They take your order while you are waiting in line (it's a to go spot so no seating), and things move quickly. I got the salted caramel with a croissant and it was smooth creamy but not heavy and not too sweet perfection...the chocolate almond croissant was great but quite small. On my second visit I decided on the bergamot honey latte--again it see very good...the bergamot is there but not over powering. This time I got the banana bread and it was superb! Take your coffee and treats to the park across the street with benches. You can people watch and enjoy your morning coffee!! read more
This place was very busy and tight inside! I'm glad we were able to in and out with our drinks quickly despite the line. I tried their matcha and a latte. I enjoyed the latte but suprisingly enough the matcha was better! Both weren't overly sweetened despite looking really sweet on social media. I recommend getting both drinks. read more

I was so ready to hate on caffe paradiso - complain about the long lines and talk about how it is overhyped. But it isn't. And I'm already planning my next visit. The line was around the block at 10 am on a Saturday morning. But moved very quickly. We were at the counter in less than 20 mins. We got (obviously!) the trending salted brown butter latte and a seasonal hot beverage. Both were excellent! The best part is the small park right across the street where we carried our coffee and croissants to and enjoyed a little picnic in the sun! I'll be back! read more
This was my first sip when I touched down in New York, and it was truly perfect. The line outside moves incredibly fast, and the service is excellent as your order is taken outside. The salted brown butter oat milk latte on tap means you are not waiting too long for your drink. The creaminess of the oat with the strong flavor of the coffee was balanced well with the nuttiness from the brown butter and the sweet and salty notes. Overall, just a well rounded drink, and the best coffee I had on my trip I an one to take my time with my drinks, but this was finished in 10 minutes with how delicious it was. read more
Actually worth the hype despite the trendiness of it all. The line looks intimidatingly long but it actually end moves fast because someone brings a menu to you while you wait in line and another comes to take your order. If you get the salted brown sugar oat latte on tap, they give you a little card with the drink name. You give it to the person manning the tap and get your drink! They have two straws lengths, choose what you prefer. Really delicious sweet treat of a coffee. read more

Worth the hype and fully warranted to be going viral now. The Salted Butter Oatmilk Latte is the best latte I have ever had. I inhaled it. In fact, we went back in line just to get another cup. The line moves fast and I like the idea of a paper card to show you paid once it is your turn to grab your drink. The inside is stunning, love the black and white picture on the wall of a girl being pursued by three men. Their milk options are pistachio milk, oat and panna...I mean say less. What an experience. Highly recommend. It reminded me of La Colombe's draft latte, except this is so much better. read more

I am literally not a coffee person, but Caffe Paradiso changed that for me. This was easily the most delicious coffee I've ever had - I've been dreaming about it daily since I left. Since it's viral on TikTok, the line was very long, but it moved decently fast. I waited about 20 minutes total. Because they're so popular right now, the process is very "go, go, go." You prepay for your coffee, grab it, and head out. They definitely rush you through a bit, so I didn't get to really sit and enjoy the interior, but from what I saw, the place is really pretty. Seeing the coffee on tap was a cool touch, too. The workers were surprisingly nice considering the insane amount of people they have to deal with all day. I'm definitely coming back, hopefully at a time when it's a little less hectic so I can actually scope out the vibe more. ** if anyone knows a drink like this in orange county please lmk ** read more

I went here for the salted brown butter and oat latte and let me tell you it did not disappoint! We waited about 20 minutes, but the line moves fast. This latte is on draft and although it is a popular place online I actually enjoyed the drink. If you go into it with the expectation of waiting in a line, it's worth the hype! We stopped by Caffe Paradiso to try their viral salted caramel oat milk drink and it was absolutely worth it. There was a line when we arrived, but it moved quickly. The wait was totally worth it. I was in the mood for something hot, and the staff recommended their Autumn Spiced Latte as the warm version of the viral salted caramel drink. It definitely hit the spot... cozy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. It's definitely a grab and go spot versus a sit down coffee shop. They only had two seats which were taken when we went, but we wouldn't have sat in there anyway, because it was crowded. I wish the space was larger, so we could've sat down and enjoyed our drinks, but overall, it was still worth the visit. read more
Do people even get anything else other than the salted brown butter oat latte? There isn't a cash register - just a person with a chip reader who takes your order. Ninety percent of the people who come here just get the latte. I came on a very slow Thursday morning and was able to try this without standing in line for an hour. I thought it was a yummy latte but nothing to wait in line for, unfortunately. read more
