Such a cute cute place! It's very aesthetic inside and how they present their items! We got the strawberry mochi set, strawberry latte, and original einspanner. The strawberry mochi set came with mochi sheets, strawberries, red bean, and condense milk. It was a perfect combination of sweetness. The red bean wasn't too sweet which is perfect. Such a good light snack and perfect for pictures! The original einspanner was super creamy, not too sweet. The coffee is a bit strong so if you're a coffee lover, it's a must try! The strawberry latter was on the sweeter side, it was light and refreshing. Everything came out quickly, the workers gave good suggestions as well! Stopped by a popular dessert place in Ktown. The strawberry mochi set and cake were underwhelming--flavor was bland and nothing special (2/5). The black sesame with a shot of cappuccino, however, was excellent--rich and well-balanced (5/5). The place was busy, but tables weren't being cleared promptly, which made it hard to find a clean spot. Service could definitely improve (2/5). Come for the sesame dessert, but don't expect much from the strawberry items or the table turnover. read more

I have visited this tea shop three times. My first two visits were very pleasant. the staff were friendly and welcoming, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. However, during my most recent visit around 10:45 a.m. on 06/13/2026, I had a disappointing experience with one male staff members. While I was there with a date, I felt there was a noticeable difference in how he interacted with her compared to me. He was friendly and engaging with her, but came across as more dismissive and monotone toward me. It left me feeling uncomfortable and like I wasn't being treated with the same level of courtesy as other customers, which I felt like an unfair treatment. I value places that are consistent in how they treat everyone, so this visit stood out negatively compared to my previous experiences. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency in customer service from all different backgrounds worldwide, because I did enjoy my earlier visits. read more

Super cute place for a date or catching up with friends. The desserts are very unique and not too sweet. You order your dessert, pay and find your own table (they have an upstairs too snd the seating is very cute). $14-$20 for a cake (but Im pretty sure it's meant to be shared between two people). Recommend if you're in the area! read more

I really wanted to give it five stars because I loved the vibe and clean atmosphere. The benches upstairs were also turned outwards even though you're sharing a table, which I thought was interesting. The beepers (to let you know when order is ready) were really loud especially when they were all going off at once. The matcha bingsoo was delicious but very small for the amount we paid. It's not unreasonable to give a bit more shaved ice or some other toppings on the side, is it? Considering it's prime real estate in this area, it was still worth the try! read more

After dinner in Ktown, we stopped by here for some dessert. The space is clean, minimal, and spacious. All of the sets and dessert are also so aesthetic, but definitely pricey. We decided to get the Da-On Sang Set ($26) and Injeolmi Bingsoo ($21). Everything came out so quick --it was ready within a minute after we ordered. To start off, the bingsoo was super soft and silky. We really liked this one, especially the muted and nutty soy bean flavor of the injeolmi. As for the da-on set, I really didn't care for this one at all besides how cute it is. Everything was too sweet that we didn't finish any of these small bites unfortunately. It was also kind of tough to cut and share, especially with the wooden knives we were given. I'd mainly come here for the bingsoo. It's also a nice spot to get some work done or hang out. read more

I don't understand all the good reviews for this place??? I had the worst experience here. First of all- confusing checkout process. I was told the tea set is for dine in service only so when checking out, I paid a 20% tip but then I find out there is NO service & everything is self serve (pick up at the counter and also bus your dishes yourselves). Secondly, how is this $40? Definitely not worth it. The tea is much too mild, the strawberry cake was disgusting and really hard (and the fruit didn't taste fresh...). I liked the Yakgwa and that was the only thing I liked. And then the most important issue I had was the lack of sanitation. The dishes and cups were dirty. There was lint, hair, dirt in the cups and the teapot. I don't understand why they didn't wash them. I complained and got a partial refund at least. But they also made an excuse about why the ceramics were dirty and apparently the only way to guarantee cleanliness is to use a disposable plastic cup. The place is pretty but that's it. Also there was a guy sitting across from us who complained that he wasn't given the espresso that came with his tiramisu. He asked and they forgot and he had to buy another one, so they didn't even comp him for their mistake. So it's not even consistent since I got a partial refund but he didn't and had to pay full price TWICE. read more

Service was fine. If you go before 5 you cant get the shaved ice so I got the yuzuade and tiramisu. I really enjoyed the yuzuade it was sweet and refreshing and the tiramisu was creamy delicious and has a very strong espresso on the side. The café is very bright and spacious with two bathroom at the end and a second floor but I didnt go upstairs. read more

It was around 4pm on Sunday when we came to Seoul Sweets. It was pretty packed, but we found seating for 2 upstairs. There is a kiosk at the entrance for those who want to see what is available. If you come with more than one person, I recommend finding a seat first before ordering. Unfortunately, half of the drink options were grayed out, so we ordered the Mugwort Einspänner and Black Sesame Einspänner ($8.50 each). Pricey with small portions, but flavor is good. There is a bathroom upstairs and 2 downstairs. The café is a nice place to chill. read more

Cute dessert selection. The matcha mochi has fresh and juicy strawberry in the middle. It's definitely an upgrade from a regular mochi. I love the Dubai cookie. The pistachio filling has good amounts of kanafee, wrapped in mochi . So crunchy. To go container is quite sturdy to protect delicate pastries. The guy at the counter is very quiet and stoic. Clean store with some some seatings. read more

I had Seoul Sweets bookmarked for a while. I'm in KTown a lot for dinner - it's close to the Path and Penn Station, so it's a great meet up spot - so I'm always on the lookout for dessert spots. It's a really big space - there's a lot of seating both downstairs and upstairs. The pastries are a little bit pricey. I tried the mango cake and also the black sesame rice cake. The rice cake was good, but the sporks they give you are completely useless against the rice cakes. The mango cake was about the blandest cake I've ever had in my life. One good thing is that, at least on the upper level, they do not rush you out whatsoever. You can literally stay for as long as you want. read more

Overall: 5 stars Upscale Korean sweets shop with an immaculate vibe and spacious seating for casual work and conversation. The desserts run pricey, but I sampled their matcha mochi and was incredibly impressed on all accounts. Nice spacious atmosphere and unique desert. We went after dinner on a Saturday evening after 9pm and it was still very crowded. Choices of deserts were limited as they had sold out of a lot of their items. We had the strawberry mochi, the Joo Ak (fried rice donut) and a vanilla latte. Everything was tasty. Mochi and Joo Ak were both chewy, nice texture, not too sweet. I would have loved to try some of their other items. I did think some of their "sets" and mini cakes were priced a little on the high side. There is seating available upstairs. There is a designated area upstairs on the side where you can return your dishes and treys. Would like to come back but next time a little earlier to have more options. read more

We really liked this place!! I came here with my partner for a quick coffee in the morning and the interior is beautiful. We came early enough that the restaurant was quiet and calm with music playing in the background. Service was quick too and they dont rush anyone to leave. I have not tried the desserts so I cannot comment about that but the drinks we got were delicious!! read more

It's a really nice establishment and super spacious but this.. is not worth $40. Staff was nice but I think ordering off the kiosk would've been a better choice. They didn't really study their menu to be able to tell us exactly what came with our order. You also avoid the awkward tip screen because you have to bring the tray to your table yourself and then clean up after yourself so it's not even a service. Other dessert places around the area are much better options. read more

Korean cafes here in New York's K-town are a nice spot to relax, get some work done, or meet up with some friends for a causal hangout. Seoul Sweets is the epitome of that and now a go-to when I'm in the area. The decor felt sophisticated in both of its levels. The bottom floor gave a busy cafe feel where there were individual tables to hunker down and do work, while upstairs is more brightly lit and made for get-togethers. You order everything from the machine when you first enter. Once your order is placed, head inside on the first floor for them to prepare the actual items. During my first visit, I ordered a lemonade to sip and tried their Strawberry Daifuku with red bean. On my second visit, I ordered a Strawberry Matcha Latte with non-dairy milk, and sipped on that for hours upstairs while doing some work on their good Wi-Fi connection. One recommendation I have for them is to have a nutrition/ingredients menu available or to mark items on what it may contain allergen wise. The staff misinformed me about a few items that I'm sure weren't actually vegan but I didn't let that bother me too much. Still, it'd be important and easier for them if they had better labels. read more

Passing by this place as we headed for our dinner reservation, we decided we definitely wanted to try desserts here instead of at the restaurant where we were headed, and we were so glad we did. After dinner, we came back feeling a bit too full, so we shared the matcha bingsoo. It was incredible because it was light and not overwhelming, with no extra things like mochi and tapinaki. This had light shaved "snow" with matcha ice cream, topped with matcha powder and syrup. It was not overly sweet, thankfully, and it was the perfect way to conclude the night. They have three types of bingsoos: matcha, mango, and strawberry. There are two kiosks by the entrance that we used to see what the different bingsoo would look like. You can place your entire order at the kiosk if it makes it easier for you, but I definitely urge you to go in and see their entire dessert offerings. Their dessert display is quite extensive, and all the desserts looked quite pretty. Being so late, we chose not to have coffee, but they offered complimentary herb-flavored water on the side by the cashier. The aesthetic is serene and modern. There's fun music playing in the background, but we were still able to hold a conversation without resorting to shouting. There were signs displayed on the wall requesting us to leave the dishes on the table after eating, and the staff quickly came over to take the dishes and cups away and clean the table and seats. The service was quick, and the servers are very friendly and helpful should you have any questions. Their presentation as they serve their drinks and desserts is very well thought out, and they take great pride in making it a wonderful experience for you. read more

This place serves a unique traditional Korean + fusion desserts. It is 2 story place and has a variety of desserts, it's a self service type of place. I personally enjoyed their Jujube tea set (traditional dessert). I didn't care for the rice cake, it seems dry due to how long it has been sitting in air without a proper storage. This place to me was more of social media hyped place and can't say it was worth the price. read more

I finally got the chance to try Seoul Sweets. Let me start by saying everything is delicious! I tried their tea set and cannot wait to go back and try more! Ordered at the kiosk in the vestibule and then sat upstairs. The ambiance was soooo aesthetically pleasing. I like the concept of this place, but was very disappointed by the food. Desserts seem more pretty versus actually tasting good or even seeming fresh. Came on a weekend afternoon and there was no line, but lots of people seated. Seems to be a popular place to study, read, just hangout, etc. Quite large with an upstairs and has a nice ambiance. Unfortunately I found the desserts to be a disappointment. Everything lacked flavor and it didn't taste fresh - textures even felt off for some of them (overly dry or really hard). I ordered one of the dessert sets that comes with multiple things (see photo). It's a good price, but again, nothing tasted fresh so I only took a bite out of each. Also got some of the cakes and felt similarly. I will say, the tea was quite good, so maybe this is more of a drink hangout spot! read more

You can order from the kiosk by the front door or inside on the first floor. I tried the Strawberry Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($10). Honestly, it felt overpriced. The matcha was just okay, but the homemade strawberry syrup was delicious--sweet, flavorful, and had real strawberry bits in it. I also got the Black Sesame Einspänner ($8 for 12 oz), which I really liked. The espresso was strong and the black sesame flavor came through nicely. I was walking through Koreatown just happened past this place and instantly knew I needed to go in. Had a very chic sort of modern vibe, in the view of the treats is basically irresistible. If I'm being honest, I really would have gotten a full tray with a whole selection of sweets on it, but I had already had dinner so I couldn't eat very much. However the sweets were too enticing, and they didn't disappoint. My order was good, and I would recommend both items, especially the joo-ak. But I strongly suspect that if one is gonna do this place right they should get one of the full trays. read more

I love it here. The Koreans take cafe culture so seriously and I am so happy to see it in NYC. I've seen cafes with a waterfall in Seoul. Just stunning. The decor is so lovely. Clean, quiet and nature themed. The desserts are so cute. For card put in your order at the kiosk, cash at the register. They also give you free skincare samples. I have never seen that before at a cafe before (what I say about the Koreans? STUNNING). Anyways I'm coming back whenever I'm in the area. Love it. read more

I'm satisfied that I can taste the nutty creaminess. Though I wish it can be bolder and have more umami. Perhaps it has to do with concentration. At the same time, $6.50 is a good price given the location, alternative matcha and drink options nearby, flavor. I also asked how much matcha they use in the medium vs large sizes. Medium is 4g for a 12oz cup. Large is 5g for a 16oz cup. Even though large is a better deal by volume, I got medium because it has a higher concentration of matcha. Since I got a hot latte, my cup came with the lid on it already. I didn't look at it immediately, so no photo available lol. I looked later on and the color looks bright green. The seating is weird where they only have a table with two seats against the window. Then there's a random one chair next to the cashier and another one next to the pickup area. The stools are slightly taller than the counters which made me feel like I was towering over the counter. I don't recommend betting on spending time to hang out there. Just buy it to go.

Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! Date of Visit: 2/1/2025 My boyfriend and I were excited to try out this new Korean sweets spot, but unfortunately, our visit was frustrating. Upon arriving, we noticed a long line, and both the first and second floors appeared to be full. While we were waiting, halfway through the line, a staff member informed us that only take-out was available. At this point, we assumed we wouldn't be able to sit down, so we placed our order for a strawberry mochi set and one individual sweet to go. However, when our order came out, it was plated rather than boxed, which led us to believe we could still find a seat. But there was no clear system for seating. People were actively reserving and even stealing seats we were standing in line for. As a result, we spent the next 15 minutes going back and forth between the first and second floors, trying to find a place to sit, all while holding our food. Eventually, we asked if we could have our sweets boxed for take-out instead, since we were unable to find a seat. The staff informed us that they couldn't box our food. This was confusing because, earlier, we were told that only take-out was available, and we had assumed that meant we could take the food with us if we couldn't find a seat. In fact, the picture I took shows the food boxed, so I don't understand why they couldn't do this initially. Despite our request, the staff ignored us and continued serving other customers, leaving us standing with our food for another 20 minutes. After waiting for 30 minutes in total, we expressed our frustration and again asked to have the food boxed, but this time, we had to wait in line once more just to make that request. While we understand the staff was busy, it was clear that the restaurant lacks an operational system to manage seating and take-out orders effectively. We observed other customers, including people with outside food, students using tables without ordering, and others lingering without drinks or food. This created a chaotic and frustrating environment, especially when there were no clear guidelines for seating or time limits. The interior is minimalist and inviting, with additional seating available on the second floor. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, explaining the desserts to help those unfamiliar with the menu. The desserts themselves were visually appealing and well-prepared. While I found the pricing slightly high for the portions, the flavors and presentation helped make up for it. I was particularly drawn to the mochi and roll cakes.
