While waiting in line down a couple of blocks for our ramen place, I wanted to get boba! We kept seeing Teapulse around so decided to try it out. I got the Mango drink and it reminds me of Mango Boom Boom(?) from HeyTea. Refreshing, fresh, and natural tasting! I loved how it didn't taste flavored, but had the natural fruit in there. It almost was like a sorbet thick smoothie! As for the Egg Tart, it was crisp and tasty, but nothing crazy. I probably wouldn't get that again.

Teapulse is now added to my rotation of milk tea places. They use real tea that's super fragrant, just the right amount of sweetness and milkiness for a perfect balance. They also have delicious egg tarts. I got the Orchid Blanc and Amber Ceylon and both were spectacular. Can't wait to come back to try their other offerings.

This is one of my favorite Teapulse locations in NYC, beside the one in Chinatown! This place is very clean and the service is great. They sell Macau-style Portuguese egg tarts and recently, donuts which are both very delicious. They frequently have deals and promotions. Recently, I saw they posted up a sign offering FIT students a10% off student discount which is great for students who goes to school nearby. Overall, I really love this place. It's very close to K-Town too. Highly recommend trying Teapulse if you haven't already. They known for their Lemon Blast drink. It's my favorite drink.

On a hot day in NYC it's time for an iced brown sugar milk tea with boba. The tea in my drink must have been super hot. It melted all the ice, & it melted the bottom of my cup. The cup could not even stand flat on the table since the plastic melted, lol. So I really wanted a chill drink, but this one was still warm. Nonetheless it still tasted pretty good. Nothing exceptional. At least the shop had AC so I cooled down anyway, lol.

Cute new boba shop extension of this chain. Super clean. Pretty spacious for manhattan. Some seats and two order kiosk. A quick grab and go boba spot that maintains consistency in quality. Love teapulse! Delicious fruit teas!

I purchased doughnuts matcha and cookies cream doughnuts and 4 boba' . The boba were really good. Now the doughnuts on the other hand were ok. It was thick. It's not a mochi donuts which a very light. I can keep those doughnuts for week and it wouldn't get hard. This is the cute bag they gave me to put the drinks in. While we were walking.

I ordered the strawberry lemon fruit tea blast and it was so perfect and refreshing for a sunny summer day. Highly recommend and if you don't like overly sweet drinks, I got 30% sugar and I could really taste the tea and the natural fruity taste from the fruit chunks in the drink. There aren't too many seats but the drinks came out at a normal time with a lot of people inside. The interior is pretty cute!

New York, NY - the pastry that put Teapulse on the map is their pastel de nata, and damn, it might be one of the finest specimens of these Portuguese custard tarts I've had. They fill these flaky little beauties with something closer to a crème brûlée: thick, velvety, and rich, yet light and restrained in sweetness in the fashion of Asian bakeries. A box of'em is always a hit at parties. As you might've guessed, their other specialty is tea, and you bet they use a real tea base for their creative tea drinks and bobas: jasmine, Ceylon, etc. (Can we all agree that powdered boba "teas" are an anathema?) I've only tried a couple - a snow top amber Ceylon milk tea, and the cheese Thai boba milk tea - and they were both refreshing and delicious. Coffees/lattes, lemonades, and smoothies round out the menu. I like that you can customize the sweetness level. Supposedly Teapulse also sells croissant donuts (cronuts?), though I haven't seen them at this location. But definitely come for the pastel de nata!

Freshly brewed tea. Very refreshing on a hot summer. Did not like the white popping boba though. Very cute interior -- modern, sleek finish.

Teapulse became one of the places to stop by for drinks when visited NY. Stopped by for their drinks before heading to Penn Station, ordered the strawberry lemon blast and mango dew smoothie. Definitely the drinks here is on sweeter side compared to other brand such as Heytea and Mollytea. 30% sugar is just the right sweet level for me.

For my lactose intolerant friends, you can finally enjoy cheese cloud matcha WITHOUT needing Lactaid at Teapulse! This is the first dairy-free cheese cloud drink I've seen in the market, and oat milk is always my preferred milk for matcha. If you've been missing out on cheese cloud drinks because of dairy, this one's definitely worth trying. *Cheese Cloud Matcha Oat 抹茶燕麥芝士茶 $8.95 It comes in regular whole milk or oat milk versions. The matcha could've been richer as I personally preferred very bitter and strong matcha. Caramel cookie crumbles were similar to cereal for an extra crunch. Just a note that the cheese cloud is usually thicker than what I had here! *Pink Guava Milk 粉芭樂鮮奶 $7.55 A super refreshing, guava-forward drink. The guava popping boba was unlike any I've had before--it actually tasted like real guava rather than artificial flavoring. *** I ordered 30% sugar and less ice for both drinks!

    Mango Dew Smoothie ( M)
    Jessica M.

A big fan of the mango dew smoothie with fresh mango, pomelo and milk. I thought 30% was still kind of sweet personally but the flavors were nicely mixed and perfect for a summer cool down drink.

No real interaction with the staff but they are efficient. Place is clean with some space for seating. This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologized for the inconvenience of the inability to lower the price on the product ordered. As I waited patiently, I took photos of this business' environment. The staff stated the cash register is not working and currently unable to accept either credit or debit cards, but cash only payments. Ergo, I was unable to obtain a sales receipt nor a drink label printed. I wonder if the staff reboot the register or check their internet connection to be offline as the cause of non-functioning O/O/O. [1] Customer service is average. Well... if the staff can lower the price for one customer why not lower it for ALL customers? Surely, why not make my drink order as inclusion for lowering the price, please? Hell no, of course not! The conclusion was ironclad. In the real world, this cannot happen. As I stood on line waiting for this woman to let go and walk away from her argument I had shrunk to my own gnawing thoughts. I took photos of the atmospheric environment. There is a cute signage: "Bubble tea where refreshment meets creativity." The pink metal water bottle is very adorably cute which is something that I would certainly purchase. Peach green tea, medium $7.25 My favorite default topping grass jelly (aka herbal jelly) loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my standard request for $0.75 which was good, but not served chilled. At 30% sugar level request, it was slightly higher in sugar content. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would shake his head at me in disbelief with disapproval and disappointment for consuming this excessively sugary drink. The peach green tea was not the cause of the sweetness but a man-made sugar embed measurement error. Nevertheless, this Gong Cha satisfied my bubble tea fix as it is now my addiction - in addition to my other addiction, writing. [1] O/O/O = Out Of Order

I didn't realize golden bubble literally just meant golden boba balls. I thought it would be some sort of special milk tea flavor LOL. But it wasn't so it was just your typical milk tea (which was pretty good) with LOTS (too much) of boba (not good). The boba to tea ratio could definitely be a lot better, half the drink was boba which is way too much. I also wish the boba was a little less chewy. They recommended 50% sugar so I got 25% and it was still too sweet for me. The upside is that it did satisfy the boba craving for the moment. And the service was quick! Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil.
