There was a line to order at the kiosks that went out the door but it moved quickly. Ordered the matcha soft serve and it was less than $2. Matcha flavor was there but very light, but a nice sweet treat for the price. Would come back to try the drinks here.
A quick, reasonably priced dessert spot? Count me in! After a night out, my friends and I stopped to get a quick bite here. We shared a Vanilla Soft Serve & Peach Oolong Tea with Boba. The ice cream was creamy, fluffy, and not too sweet. The boba was cheap, refreshing, and needed in this weather. I loved the combination of both especially after walking around all night! There's so many different options to choose from.
World's largest chain, surpassing Starbucks and Mcdonalds, with 50,000 locations worldwide. Founded in China in 1997, it started as a shave ice store, rapidly expanding across China, then internationally. It has 6 locations in the NYC area, including this one in Koreatown. It's a big store, with a small menu...this is all about volume here. Their classic soft serve is only $1.19 (in NYC...in 2026!). I stood in line to use one of the 4 self-serve machines to place my order (there is one register if one has to pay by cash). Since it was soft serve in a cone, it needed to be made right in front of me. So my order number immediately displayed in the 'Ready' section of the big board. So I fought my way up, told someone my number, and she drew out both cones as I waited. The sugar waffle cone was great, and the ice cream serving was generous. It tasted OK too. We ended up taking it outside (there is an upstairs dining area, but it's closed) and it tasted even better on a hot humid day.
This ice cream shop was crowded. It could because it's located right in Herald Square, 34th street. Think of a sibling to Times Square. Anyway I came here after having some dinner in the area and I wanted something sweet and cheap. This was definitely a winner. It was very crowded but they had tablets and regular counters that you could order from. I wanted to try the Matcha soft serve ice cream and boy I was in for a surprise! It was very Matcha forward. It had that grassy taste but sweet, creamy and cold. It started melting as soon as it was given to me. I'm happy I gave it a try, I will definitely want to try the vanilla next time. I'm going to give them a thumb up! Happy Yelping!
Love me some Mixue Ice Cream!!! For only a $1.19 & $1.69 you can't go wrong haha. Great prices and they sell bubble teas, ice cream, and many drinks. Service was super fast and friendly. The ambience was packed because this was a very popular location but like moves quickly. Highly recommend to anyone!

It's crowded but the line moves fast and for most things under $3 how can you go wrong? Won't be life changing food, but it might be life changing for your budget!
I've seen Mixue all over my social media. I walked by on a hot day and figured it was a must try. I went with the strawberry sundae @ $3.49. It was pretty tasty. I didn't finish it. I probably should have gone with the $1.19 cone just for portability and walking around practicality. There are no tables here. You order on a digital kiosk and in a minute your order is ready. I'd go back again if I was walking by!
This is a weird place. It always has a line and weird music playing. The drinks and snacks are fine but it's annoying to order at the kiosk over your phone. I wish it was better organized. Feel free to come try it, but it feels more like an Asian tourist trap.

I finally made it to the busy KTown Mixue location - it is often so busy. I dropped by on a weekday afternoon which definitely helped with the wait. With matcha soft serve for less than 2$ and bubble tea less than 5$, you really can't get such a great deal in the city. The coconut jelly was really good along side the tapioca in my twin topping bubble tea. The matcha soft serve was absolutely worth it at its price - of course, it's less than 2$ ice cream so don't expect to be mind blown by the taste. Affordable - efficient service - there's a reason why it is always busy, but I have no regrets stopping by for a cheap sweet treat here once in a while when the line isn't too long.
I had been craving for Boba for weeks & while trying to find a good spot I ended up finding this gem. All this years living in NYC never find a place this cheap ! They also have soft serve cone icecream ! I felt like a child & trust me when I say this I will be back. I finally can try some different flavors of boba now. So if you are near 32 nd street near Empire State Building you definitely gotta come & try this place .
Very affordable bubble teas, coffee, and sundaes. Especially fan of their matcha sodt serve. It almost $2. Drinks are okay, what can you expect from a $5 bubble tea, but i always go their for soft service. It's always packed with people, so i suggest to scan the QR to order from your phone.
Sooo cheap, I was in awe. Didn't get to try any of their drinks, but they looked really good. I did try the soft serve, and I thought it was okay. It definitely tastes like it's a dollar though. Not necessarily a bad thing!! I think what put me a little off was that I expected it to be vanilla but it was more milk flavored.

Mixue is becoming my go-to because where else am I getting jasmine tea with boba for $2.50 in NYC?! I get mine with 50% sugar, and it hits every time. The boba is just as good as the stuff at places charging $6 or more per drink, and this location was just as good as the others I've tried. Ordering through the QR code on my phone is super easy, and my drink came out fast. They also have a points system for rewards, so make sure you add your phone number!!! Also, $1.69 for a matcha ice cream cone and $1.19 for vanilla is actually wild. Affordable af without feeling like you're settling for less. The only thing I don't like about that mobile ordering is that they automatically add a tip so check before you pay. read more

There's a ton of hype around this, and for good reason - who doesn't like a $1 soft serve? Lines are out the door, but I came on a night when I only had to wait five minutes. Is Mixue popular because it's good or because it's cheap? I came to find out. The size of the ice cream was perfect: not too big that I felt sickly full after, but not too small that I felt swindled. The taste reminded me of powdered milk in Asia, and what was off putting at first grew on me. Is it worth $1? Yes. Would I come here again if I had the chance? Certainly. read more

On a sunny Manhattan afternoon, we found ourselves strolling up Broadway and stopped at the Mixue. Don't be too worried about the line - it goes fast; you can also order online and get in the pickup line. We waited a little bit, just long enough to get all kinds of photos of the happy decor and kitschy interior, then they called our order and we continued walking up Broadway, enjoying our cones of green matcha softserv. It was so good, I didn't remember to take a photo until it was half gone. :-( No matter, it was well worth the quick stop. If you haven't tried Mixue yet, go ahead and stop in - it's well worth it! read more
I tried Mixue in Asia (Malaysia and Indonesia) before I tried it in NY. They did a good job. In Asia the ice cream was far sweeter than it is here. You can scan the QR code and place the order online, then pick it up. It's a long line but moves fast, don't let it deter you. Everyone loves a good deal in NYC, so it was packed but I didn't mind it. Drink and soft serve was under $6. read more

THE BIG: A Chinese ice cream and tea chain in Manhattan! Bright red store that has their doors open. Public transportation recommended. THE BLACK AND WHITE: Walking up and down broadway, the Mixue shop caught my eye. First by it's bright red exterior and cute mascot. And secondly the line. It was long but moved very quickly. Ordering was through the kiosk and a softserve was so cheap! We got a matcha softserve and it was the right amount of sweetness to get through the afternoon. Bubble bubble! Bubble tea! Quick on the go bubble tea! Had this in Vietnam and Taiwan before and this timesquare loc did not disappoint! Location: it is located along Koreatown, no seatings inside. You will notice it quickly due to their iconic Mixue mascot! Service: not much interaction, I just ordered on the kiosk and wait for my bubble tea. Food: I ordered their regular milk tea with boba and their chocolate soft serve. Their tea is very classic which I love, no extra flavorings like the other milk tea stores. Their soft serve is also delicious! Price rating: 4 out of 10. Very very cheap!! Around $5 for 1 bubble tea. And $2 for softserve! I will probably try their other flavors. I never tried this in china but when I tried it here I was surprised by how good the matcha ice cream is. I was also able to try some of the drinks which were decent for its price. We were lucky to avoid the long lines and had a great experience there. read more

The service here was so fast, I really was expecting it to be more hectic than it was. While in line I scanned the QR code that let me order on my phone, like it recommended and it helped us feel more like we were actively waiting. Everything tasted really good and for the price it can't be beat. Glad I finally tried this on a sunny day. read more
$1.19 soft serve!!! The vanilla cone was $1.19 while the chocolate and matcha were $1.69. The soft serve is pretty mid, but for the price you can't really complain. For those wondering I do find mcd cones better, but mixue's soft serve is less sweet and there's chocolate and matcha. There's also a tastier waffle cone! There's multiple kiosks to order from but also a cash register. The soft serve came out extremely fast! Havent tried their drinks yet but it's under/around $5! read more
The biggest fast chain restaurant has made its mark in the US, including bringing along its affordable prices. In these economic times, it's pretty amazing to get a drink for under $5 these days. While the line was out the door, it went by quickly. They also have a screen to show your status in line for your order. I ended up ordering an Oolong Tea ($1.99) and Pudding Milk Tea ($3.99). Both were great and refreshing. Also wish I could've tried the Ice Cream, but it was sold out the day I went. I really appreciate the prices, especially being in NYC. Excited as they bring a bigger footprint into the US. read more

My best friend and I were in ktown and saw there was a Mixue location there. I've been wanting to visit one of the locations. It was my friend and mine first time trying this place. We both got the Peach Mango Jasmine with less ice. I got the 30% sugar and she got no sugar. We ordered on the app while waiting in line. We didn't have to wait too long for our orders. The drink was absolutely delicious. I definitely will order again without the sugar. Two less stars because of the ice. We ordered less ice but half the cup was ice for both of us. I would think less ice would be one-quarter of ice in the cup. Ice took a lot of space in the cup. Other than that, the price was good, the place was spacious, and everything on the menu looked amazing. My friend and I are coming back for the ice cream. read more
Right near Herald Square in the bustle of it all was this store I have never heard of but there I was standing on that long line with all these people. They did have a red carpet out welcoming all in lol. I'm sure it was the prices for the ice cream, milk tea and Jasmine teas that created the line and it being the weekend. The vanilla and matcha soft serve was priced at 1.30 -1.69. The taro milk tea that I got was 3.99 plus tax added up to 4.34. so not to bad of prices for the middle of Manhattan. Taro tea was a bit lite, compared to the rich purples I'm used to. The pearls were also clear. Everything was happening so fast and numbers were being called all over the place so I don't blame them or my self for trying to get in and out lol. It quenched the thirst I had from walking around all day. Not a bad pop in and out spot. The " I love you, you love me" song that was on repeat I could have def done without yeesh! read more

It didn't taste like much to me, although my friends strongly tasted a milky flavor. At that price though, I'd buy it again and try the matcha flavor. The cone was good. There was a bit of a line, but it moves super fast. I actually ordered online through a QR code while waiting on line, but would've reached the kiosk to order in person a couple minutes later anyway. Across the street from the Herald Square Station. Bright red walls and big snowman logo, you can't miss it! Seeing that not too many people are inside, I know this is my chance to finally try the soft serve. Four kiosks are lined up side by side on the left towards the wall. Brightly lit LED menus with colorful pictures of each item are displayed on the overhead. If you wanna pay with cash instead, all you gotta do is just go up to the register and place an order. Fast service from okayish-polite staff. There're no seats as it's mostly a grab-and-go spot. You get the ice cream or drink, and then you leave for other customers to order. A cute life-size statue of Snow King (snowman mascot) is right by the entrance/exit of the store. You'll hear the Mixue theme song over and over again. Got myself a vanilla-flavored soft serve. Be careful that you don't grasp the cone part too hard because it will break easily and the bottom might start leaking/dripping. Costs $1.19 (11¢ tax) = $1.30 in total when paying in cash. Where else can you get soft serve this cheap in NYC? Cheaper than McDonald's too. Definitely not from Nana's Green Tea right across the street! Has a subtle hint of coconut as the flavor. It tends to lean more on the icier side instead of the really soft, fluffy texture. Ngl I like that better. Not too sweet at all which is a huge plus in my book. It is a basic waffle cone that's not stale. Appearance and taste wise are high quality despite how cheap it actually costs. I like how the soft serve looks exactly like the pic from the menu and social media in general. No false advertising there. Will stop by whenever I'm near/in Koreatown again. I most likely will not try their drinks because I dislike having huge chunks of ice in my drinks and no ice doesn't seem to be an option either. Overall, quick service at Mixue plus the soft serve is affordable + tasty. read more

Checked out another Mixue in the K-Town location. Came on a weekday about noon & it was a handful of customers. Not super busy. Ordered on the site and drink was prepared quickly. Got the oolong tea with 50% sugar since I've had at other locations. It was made consistently. Staff was friendly. Its just still too cold to eat their ice cream so I'm waiting to come back to try. Location is more of grab and go. No where to sit or stand to have your drink. There is an upstairs but was blocked off. Not sure was that meant to be seating. Very affordable prices. read more

Mixue is finally here! The infamous global chain from China has officially landed in the states, bringing its viral Snow King mascot and affordable treats with it. Known for having some of the cheapest prices in the city, their $1.19 soft serve is a total steal. I honestly couldn't resist it, and it tastes just as delicious as other more expensive soft serves I've had. However, I also tried the $4 milk tea and found it to be pretty mediocre. It's stupidly cheap and very decent soft serve, milk tea and other drinks, and who knows what else that I passed on because the wait for those looked crazy. I am surprised the lines are still this long given they've been open for a while, but order soft serve via website and it comes out in no time. I swear the line is part of the ambiance, along with the crazy scale of the operation inside. Poke your head inside for sure and it's, well, kind of wow how busy it is. I did not find the ice cream itself to be all that special-- would honestly be just as happy at a certain major American fast food chain that is also all over the world, but as a stop at a brand new (to me) chain I had never been before, it was fun and I was already in the area. read more
Looked for a quick bubble tea place by 34th. Yelp'd and saw this place. And there was a mascot outside and playing kpop loudly so it was easy to spot. Pure sensory overload with the music, the people, the organized chaos of ordering and waiting but fun. Line was long but is pretty quick. There are kiosks inside to place your order. They also have soft serve ice cream. My mini makes me go here every time we're in the vicinity. Popular flavors sell out but there's always another interesting option. read more
If I were forced to empty my bank account and place a bet on which food & beverage chain has the most retail locations worldwide, I would have lost every last penny. I'd have gone with Starbucks or McDonalds, not Mixue. Mixue? Really? I'd never even heard of it. Turns out 41,000 of their 47,000 stores are in China, so I'm not gonna be too hard on myself. Mixue specializes in ice cream and boba, and only has 4 US locations, so I had to get down here and investigate myself and see what all the hype is about. As I was about 100 feet away, I could hear their jingle playing on a huge speaker outside. The well penned, eloquent lyrics "I love you, you love me, Mixue Ice cream and tea" played on loop. At first I found myself nodding my head and thinking "they kind of slid on this..." but after about 3 minutes, it became a form of audible water boarding. These employees are truly God's strongest soldiers for having to hear this ALL day. I walked past a short Chinese man in their "Snow King" mascot costume into a squeaky clean environment with an assembly line of employees dialed in. I ordered soft serve ice cream ($1.19), lemonade ($1.99), peach oolong tea ($3.49), and pearl milk tea ($4.99). Soft serve ice cream at $1.19 cents is unheard of in New York City. I semi-regularly pay $6 from those mid ice cream trucks. It's straight 2008 prices in here, how could you not love that? And the soft serve BANGED. The ice cream is a firm texture inside of a big cake cone. This is how soft serve should be. Upon first bite, there was a strong after taste that was far too sweet and creamy for me. However as I kept eating, that after taste dispersed and it tasted like the nostalgic soft serve ice cream I grew up on. It was a roller coaster. The boba was buns, but I just don't like Boba in general so don't even listen to me here. Boba is one of those things that I don't get how anybody likes.
