Strawberry gateau- really good light, chocolate cake, the strawberries spoil fast as does any fruit so honestly should finish day of
If you're going to a Tous Les Jours smack in the middle of ktown, you should know what you're getting yourself into. High traffic, the line is usually long but does move pretty quickly. There's seating toward the back that is fine, but it can be a struggle to find an open table given the packed crowds. We tried the red velvet cake, and it was okay. The cream didn't taste particularly special, and the cake itself was pretty sweet, but didn't have that classic red velvet texture or taste. It wasn't something that stood out, unfortunately. The iced matcha was also fine, again nothing too exciting. All in all, this place is serving a touristy neighborhood, so don't expect a particularly special dining experience.
Super friendly staff, and nice coffee and pastries. Also tons of seating and a pleasant ambiance. Main downside is a serious lack of outlets and no free wifi, so not a great spot to get work done for any extended period of time.
This was my first time at Tour Les Jours, and I was genuinely impressed! Definitely planning a return trip. Here's what I tried: Ube Donut - 10/10 Soft, fluffy, and absolutely heavenly. This was hands down my favorite--like biting into a cloud with just the right touch of ube flavor. Ube Cake - 7/10 Light and mildly sweet with a creamy texture. A good option if you prefer something more subtle, though not as rich in flavor as the donut. Ube Latte - 10/10 Warm, creamy, and comforting--like sipping sweet ube milk in a cup. A cozy treat I'd definitely order again. Milk Bread with Custard - 10/10 Soft, pillowy bread with a lightly sweet custard center. Simple, but perfectly done. Garlic Bread with Cream Cheese - 9/10 My second favorite! Toasted just right with a bold garlic flavor. The cream cheese surprised me--in a good way. Would absolutely go back for this. Yuzu Pie - 6/10 My first time trying yuzu. It was citrusy and the crust was nice and flaky, but the flavor just wasn't my favorite. If you're a fan of sweet breads and pillowy desserts, this place is a dream. Don't miss the ube donut or that garlic bread!
You cant go wrong here... pick anything and it is all worth every bite. Mango cake slice... the best ever. And it has real mangos pieces in it. A bit on the expensive side, but they make that up with the presentation and quick service.
Counterstaff were friendly and they have seating towards the back. It's a decent spot to sit down with your laptop and type away. We ordered a slice of mango cloud cake and pistachio cream donut. The mango cloud cake was not that fluffy and light considering it's called a cloud cake. It wasn't too sweet though. The pistachio cream donut barely had pistachio flavor. You can tell from the color that it's artificial. I almost mistook it for pandan!
Tous les jours is one of my favorite bakeries. Their pastries are not too sweet and dont feel heavy. Their standout items for me would be the curry croquette, kimchi croquette, mango cool bun, and spinach feta danish. Their cakes are also delicious and super light! The strawberry lychee cake was a bit too sweet for me though. I've also tried their garlic cream cheese bread and that was so hard to rip off, I don't know if it's because it was cold when I got it but the bread was just tough. The green tea shaved ice was okay, too icy for my liking.
A nice cafe / dessert place to just sit and chat. It's a very casual atmosphere, with the plenty tables at the back of the cafe. The location is right in Ktown so it can be pretty crowded. We ordered three drinks: seasonal strawberry matcha latte , yuzu lemon, and lychee green. The drinks were actually quite good! Didn't have much expectations but they turned out quite nice. They weren't too sweet (asked for less sugar and the staff were accommodating). Place is pretty self service, you grab and order your own drinks / desserts. There's two bathrooms at the back (relatively clean).
A good friend converted me to this place recently and despite the fact that their Coffee Bun (and far more expensive) isn't as good as Paris Baguette, I've come to appreciate their Pistachio Latte. It's now part of my post Sunday mass routine. They also have such a massive store with more tables and other pastries to choose from, plus two working restrooms that seems to be kept clean at all times! Now if their staff would exert a bit of effort to be warmer and nicer to customers, it would be an even better experience! :)
I wanted to pick up a cake for a friendly get together and this place was highly recommended. I was familiar with their other locations and was very pleased. They have a ton of baked sweets which will leave you in a great mood. I have not tried them all but I eventually will. I usually come here for coffee and their milk bread which is delicious. They have several Korean donuts which you can try out. I love trying new flavors such as red bean and sweet rice. I picked up a Blueberry Cloud Cake. It came in a great presentation. All the cakes here are pricey but worth the cost. The cake was able to serve a whole party. It was very light and filled with flavor. I was unsure of at first how a blueberry cake would come out but Tres De Jour did not disappoint. Once again, a great location for all the bakery needs. I can't wait until the next event to try another cake!
Came here after dinner so it was pretty late, but they close at 11pm so it worked out! There's an abundance of seating so our group of 5 found a big communal table that was open. I ordered the strawberry pistachio latte and it was soooo good! I would come back for that all the time. Since it was late, most of the popular pastries were already gone, but we managed to find other things. The bathroom is pretty clean too, but you will need a code to get in.
Quick to-go egg tarts from Tous Les Jours. Bought on a weekday around noon. Prompt service and lovely ambiance in K-Town. Good for quick purchases, and the egg tarts tasted delicious. Downside is the price but was happy with the items!
How better the day is with some Tous Les Jours! The day is the best with dessert and some good pastries. Now this is a great chain, here in New York it's always a must. The customer service is always great. They have great coffee beverages! And the best of pastries period. Now parking no way! Figure that one out before even thinking of coming here. The style of the dining area is great and they have a public bathroom that's super clean. All in all . It's a great way to have a snack, and some coffee while out enjoying this beautiful city . Honestly, some of the pastries were a hit and a mess. The three pack of the cheese mochi honey thing that I had was delicious. But the savory hotdog thing was not great. It had like a weird cottage cheese on it and it didn't mention anything on the sign about it, and it was an odd taste. So when you picked things, I think you should take carefully, especially because of the price point. I do think that this place is very beautiful on the inside. It's a gorgeous store. It has such a nice selection of pastries and drinks. And they have a lot of seating so if it's not crowded or in the morning, it would be great to sit down and have and enjoyable time. read more

4.5 stars Great great pastries, cakes and drinks. Was sad they took my favorite item (chocobread) away but still plenty to choose from. We love the taro bread, mocha bread and cakes. Tried their new passion fruit drink and it was good but not great Good seating area and very clean store. Usually quite well stocked. read more

My only regret is not getting the lavender latte. That's it. I was like lavender latte and let myself get wildly overstimulated with the 100 different options and got super indecisive and got a mini Madeline. Then distracted and next thing you know I ordered a coffee. Then someone was like why didn't you get the lavender latte. But it was too late and I dream about the latte all the time. And all of the beautiful pastries and cakes. I love love LOVE this spot. They have a seating area, staff that looked at me like what do you want girl- I had no idea literally, and no parking. 4/5 Highly recommend read more
This location did not disappoint! I know there are tons of cafes in NYC but I do like to stop by here time to time. Pastries are amazing as always. They are fresh and delicious. Service is always great there. I haven't had any unpleasant experiences. It's pretty spacious considering the size of typical New York cafe and plenty of seating. read more

I came back to Tous Les Jours for their donuts. They had an ube donut and black sugar donut which I didn't see last time. The ube donut had so much filling and it tasted really good. It wasn't overly sweet, just perfect. I highly recommend getting this! The black sugar donut had more filling than the mango or chocolate donut, but the ube definitely was the best one out of all the donuts I've tried. Each donut was $4.50. read more
The slice of mango cloud cake was really good. The mango tasted fresh and the cake was not overly sweet. There's not much service since it was mostly self service. The place was pretty crowded and there as a line for the bathroom where there was not toilet paper. read more

This was my first time visiting any Tous Les Jours location and I am so glad I did! Being in Manhattan, it was of course very crowded even at 10 in the morning, so please keep that in mind. But even so, everything seemed to be stocked super well. The place was somewhat small but there was a nice seating area where my friend and I ate. It was comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious! It was a little pricy, but honestly that is to be expected anywhere in NYC. It was honestly worth it because as soon as I took that first bite of the curry croquette I got, I was instantly in love. The flavors were on point and the texture was great. I wish it was a little hotter (wasn't cold or anything, still warm, just not straight out of the kitchen hot), but that's the only thing. The milk bread was soft and the cream inside was amazing. It was probably my favorite! I got the milk tea sweetened and I'm glad I did. It wasn't TOO sweet which is just how I like it. My friend enjoyed her food as well. Next time I'd love to try one of their cake slices-- the mango cloud cake specifically looked amazing. Would 100% visit again since there were so many other pastries I'd love to try. read more

I ordered a cake 6 days in advance and they told me literally 2 minutes into the pickup time frame through text they could not fulfill my order and canceled it. The cake was for a birthday party and I was scrambling to replace the cake. I also had called earlier to confirm if I could pick up the cake a little later outside the stated pick up window and was told it was fine. I went to the store to ask why the cancellation was made and they said they didn't offer that cake as an option despite it being listed an option for this location on their website. I ended up getting another cake at the location since the change was so last minute. The new cake was fine but I'm surprised there was no offer to discount it for my troubles. This cake was for a birthday party for someone traveling from out of town for the event and I had a reservation to make while everyone was waiting or extra costs would result. In hindsight it was odd how the place was so quick to charge me for the cake without confirming the order would be feasible until last minute. read more

Came here after work to get some cake slices. Decided that we wanted to do an at home cake tasting so we can figure out what flavor cloud cake to order birthday cakes. I even told the staff at the register when I placed my order and paid. He had recommended the sweet potato cake as I close all the cakes on the top shelf (which all happened to be cloud cakes). If they had other types of cakes, I would gladly picked those as well (I didn't pick tiramisu as I already know). Saw the special Halloween cakes and specials and wish they could offer them after Halloween. That Cookies n Cream Cheesecake sound amazing! Should offer it as a birthday cake option as well. Ordered 6 cakes: 1. regular Vanilla Cloud (already tasted before but wanted something to compare the others at the same time as classic Vanilla Cloud cake is great) 2. Mango Cloud 3. Mocha Cloud 4. Red Velvet 5. Chocolate Cloud 6. Taro Cloud My family and I sampled the cakes and ranked them in this order for best tasting: 1. Vanilla Cloud 2. Taro Cloud & Mango Cloud are both equally great and on same level 3. Mocha Cloud, frosting abit too sweet but enjoyable 4. Red Velvet & Chocolate Cloud are horribly sweet and werid so we place them on same level. This chocolate cloud cake had some sort of raspberry jam in the middle which was tart and odd. The red velvet was too sweet but a tiny better than the raspberry jam filling. We had ordered other chocolate cloud cakes in the past that never had this filling before which had tasted better. Perhaps the sliced chocolate cloud cake is just different from their chocolate cloud whole cakes. I decided on Taro Cloud Cake to order for my mom's birthday and we decided on Mango Cloud Cake for my mother-in-law's cake. I called to make the order and they told that the Taro Cloud Cake is not available as a whole cake and only as sliced cake Wish/suggestion: add Taro Cloud cake to the Whole Cake selection. It is amazing! Also, they should consider adding the cookies n Cream Cheesecake. I think if they add flavored and regular cheesecakes it would be a hit. read more
Just stopped in for a break from walking about the city . It was a hot summer day. The space was larger than expected from outside. Very clean not too noisy, especially considering the amount of people inside. Just ordered the iced pistachio latte. It had good pistachio flavor and it sure looked pretty. I'd say top 5 of my favorite pistachio lattes. Service was friendly with a smile. Nothing to complain about and worth the stop. read more

If I'm in k-town, this is the prime bakery spot I usually go to for pastries, cakes, and coffee/tea. The service is quick and you can always count on the food and drinks to be good. Highly recommend trying their seasonal drinks and their croquettes (my favorite one is the kimchi croquette but the curry one is pretty good too). If you have a sweet tooth, try their cake slices (all is good - especially their cloud cakes and chocolate mousse cakes). I also love that they have a spacious seating area past the baked goods - you're not sitting on top of anyone and there's usually not so much of a problem finding seats because people come and go pretty quickly. On Christmas day, my mom went to the store located in Flushing on Prince Street. She wanted to buy a chocolate cake for her grandchildren who love and only eat chocolate cake. She asked the staff to recommended the chocolate cake. The staff introduced the snowman cake. Since the cake outside icing was white, my mom asked the staff again whether it's chocolate or not. The staff said it's chocolate inside if you cut it open. Then my mom bought the cake and even showed off in front of her grandchildren. When the kids so excited to cut open the cake after the Christmas dinner, all inside was two tiers white cake with one tiny thin layer of light grey color chocolate. The kids were disappointed and refused to eat and even cried a bit. Of course my mom as grandma was also so upset. What she thought would be the highlight of the dinner now ruining the whole holiday atmosphere. The second day, my mom went to the store again asked the manager why their staff recommended a cake with almost no chocolate when the customer specifically asked for a chocolate cake. The manager said it's customer responsibility to read the description of the receipt. But my mom doesn't speak and read English that's why she asked the staff to provide accurate recommendation. The manager said he had nothing to offer but saying "sorry". It was such unprofessional way to comfort a disappointed customer provided with wrongful information, just easily shifting the responsibility from your own trained staffs to an elderly customer. The store better retrains all your staffs. If not sure, better read your own menu before you assure the customer. Most of the customers will depend on your words in any bakery, especially cake which covered by all icing that we won't be able to visualize what's containing inside. Also, when we tried the cake, the thin layer of the grayish color of the buttercream, it tasted more like red bean not chocolate. Also due to your own staff inaccurate recommendation, the customer bought a wrong cake, you should replace the cake or offer refund. But the manager just said sorry and blamed the customer didn't read the menu before buying the cake. What a disgraceful way of handling a loyal customer been with your for years. Most of the time, the customer just look for a sincere solution to resolve the matter and comfort their disappointment. But now you lose a loyal customer family for sure. read more
This location is very popular and in K town. I knew it was popular when I walked in and didn't see any bags of matcha bread loaf slices I was craving for. I saw the walnut cream loaf bread though so I ended up getting that. The walnut break with the walnut cream tastes somewhat like walnut but mostly tasted like sweet cream. The bread isn't that soft and a bit hard. This bakery sells a lot of nice pastries laden with cream and a lot of desserts that are very pretty and cute. They carry blueberry, mango, and matcha flavors in their cakes. Now they are carrying a tiramisu latte and carry an extensive list of other flavorful lattes that are seasonal along with teas. This location has a lot of seats and bathrooms are available. read more
