    I have to admit I cheated by copying my first paragraph off the website(LOL) because it describes why they are different to any other bakery I've been to. The rest of the review are my words. Papa Ganache is a small batch vegan bakery offering amazingly delicious vegan and gluten-free sweet and savory treats. Our products are heart-healthy, cholesterol-free, no trans fat, no hydrogenated oil, no high fructose corn syrup, dairy-free, egg-free, all-natural, no preservatives, no animal products, and mostly organic As you walk inside you immediately see the store is brightly lit, extremely clean and inviting. The 2 women were very friendly, sincere, gave great recommendations and explained the benefits of the Vegan and Gluten free options they offered. From what I heard they have specials on the weekend like stuffed donuts. They have a wise range of pastries, brownies, cupcakes, donuts, cakes and other options like lasagna, breakfast sandwiches, etc. They were very accommodating, patient, and explained everything. Prices are not cheap although you get quality amd a healthy choice. In my book that's a great value. I bought a few things to take home including a Vegan Brownie, Vegan gluten feee S'mores bar, Vegan and Gluten free tri-color cookies, and slice of 7 layer cake. Everything I tasted so far was great and made me feel I was eating very healthy. I'm sure I missed out on a lot so I will definitely be back. I highly recommend you give them a try and they are worth the drive.

    I am so happy they opened this store nearby because they sell some baked goods from here in Whole Foods. I love that this bakery is 100% vegan. I decided to stop in and get a couple of my clients some treats. When I arrived I found nearby parking with no issue. When I walked in I was given a warm greeting from the two workers. One of the ladies was very informative for whatever I needed to know about what's vegan, gluten free and different prices. I ordered a bunch of mixed cupcakes and a chocolate chip cookie for me. The place is a bit pricey so prepare for that but most vegan places aren't too cheap. My clients were so exited when I brung the cupcakes in. They were all different flavors for them to choose from. When I got home I warmed up my cookie and endulged. The cookie was very good and soft. I will be back for more.

    I love sweet and savory vegan treats so when I saw Papa Ganache isn't too far from my house, I had to stop by! Papa Ganache is a cute little shop serving up some of the best vegan desserts. Upon walking in, you'll see a food section where they have vegan chicken wraps, mac, and cheese, eggplant wraps, etc. You'll also see a beautiful display case of treats. Everything from cupcakes, cakes, cookies, brownies, all of it! They even have a gluten-free section. The lady who assisted us was super friendly and knowledgeable about every treat. She listed every single one which made it even harder to choose (a good problem to have lol). After contemplating on what to choose we finally made our order: Vegan Mac and Cheese - It was okay. The breadcrumbs somewhat threw me off. Chicken Ranch Wrap - Pretty good! Gluten-Free Swiss Roll - Tasted just like the ones I ate when I was younger. So good! Ube Truffle - DELISH! Tres Leches Cupcake - LOVED! Cookie Dough Truffle - OBSESSED! I wish they were able to warm up our mac and cheese and chicken wrap but it was okay, I heated it up at home. All in all, if you're looking for a good vegan dessert definitely stop by Papa Ganache!

    Love the cupcake selection at Papa Ganache. I also like knowing that i don't have to sacrifice taste and these cupcakes are amazing! They're gluten-free and vegan which I love! They also recently put in an area where's you can eat-in/restaurant with limited hours so check that too. I need to try that out soon for sure. I'll be the food is delish. But right now, the cupcakes are pretty awesome.

    My sister and I were nearby and decided to stop by Papa Ganache for some sweet and savory vegan treats! Upon entering, Papa Ganache has such a comforting ambiance and a beautiful layout that showcases all of their food & desserts. The woman who assisted us was also very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about each item that was being offered. There were so many tempting options that we didn't know what to choose at first but she helped us narrow down a few great dessert choices! FOOD: * Vegan Mac & Cheese: 3.5/5. * Chicken Ranch Wrap: 4/5. * Swiss Roll (GF): 4/5. * Tres Leches Cupcake: 4/5. * Cookie Dough Truffle: 4/5. * Ube Truffle: 5/5. For the savory items, we went with the vegan Mac & cheese and chicken ranch wrap. Both items are offered to-go style so that you may take them home and heat them up. I warmed up the vegan Mac & cheese in the microwave and then toasted the breadcrumbs in the air fryer. It was a solid vegan Mac and cheese that had a nice cheesy flavor and garlicky breadcrumbs! As for the chicken ranch wrap, I heated it up in the air fryer and loved the tofu "chicken" pieces and vegan ranch! If I picked it up again, I would add my own lettuce and tomato to add extra freshness- but I understand that it would've been soggy if the store offered it. The stars of the show are definitely the beautifully made vegan desserts! The Swiss Roll was a bit dense but in the best way possible. It certainly had the nostalgic taste of a Swiss Roll and is a great gluten free option! The Tres Leches Cupcake & Cookie Dough Truffle were delicious and would savor any sweet tooth. Lastly, the Ube Truffle was sincerely one of the best desserts I've ever had- period! The inside was a moist and flavorful Ube cake coated in delicious white chocolate. HIGHLY recommend it! Overall, I had an excellent experience at Papa Ganache and would love to stop by again next time I'm in town! They offer amazing service and an array of gorgeous vegan and GF options.

    Papa Ganache opened up in the heart of downtown Cranford this past Saturday, and the way my family tells it, they had a line wrapping down the block outside their storefront! As for me, I slipped in at 5:51pm the following Monday night instead and they were just starting to put things away for the day. The young women at the counter were polite and helped direct me between the vegan dessert selection and the gluten-free section, one on each side. I ordered four vegan cupcakes, which came to a total of $16. Now, I have to preface this by admitting that I've never had a vegan cupcake before. With that said, I thought the flavor of these cupcakes was fairly good, but I did think they were lacking a good deal in moistness. It could be that I had just gotten there at the end of the day so they dried out or maybe this is just part and parcel of vegan cupcakes. Regardless, I was definitely reaching for a tall glass of milk after my taste test. Of the four I tried -- carrot, crème brûlée, coconut, and dark chocolate -- the coconut was definitely the most flavorful and my favorite. Honorable mention to the crème brûlée though, because the crunchy sugary top on that one was very yummy. Overall, a good experience. Five stars instead of four though due to my own lack of know-how when it comes to vegan desserts.

    Passed by this place countless times since it's on a main Street in downtown Westfield and finally…read moremade it in with my family on a Saturday morning. We were greeted as soon as we walked in... and then I quickly realized there were THREE people behind the counter. We were the only ones there for a few moments before another family walked in behind us. They had gone there before so generally knew what they wanted. Me? Not so much. Despite how many people were working at the time, there were no explanations or help... but they do respond to questions. They have a few small tables but it's a relatively small store. There are display cases filled with cookies, pastries, cupcakes, and cakes. Lots of character in there, but nothing is labeled and there are no prices other than the cookies (they're purchased by weight... 1 lb is 10 cookies). I sort of ran with it, but since I don't know the names of half the items, this will be a more general review. I grabbed a lobster tail and a sfogliatelle. They look similar at first glance... but when I asked, they are definitely NOT the same thing. In fact, she sounded a bit offended I asked. Hahaha. She mentioned something about the sfogliatelle being baked? It also comes in two sizes and I got the large. I later ate them and... I'm not too sure what the difference is because they're similar in shape. The lobster tail seems to be a flaky pastry that was cut in half and the cream piped in. The sfogliatelle was not cut but it was filled as well and I'm pretty sure they added orange zest to it... I liked that. The lobster tail didn't have any citrus that I remembered. I enjoyed them... but we ate them the next day. They weren't the crispiest then. Also got two large cannoli's filled with the regular cream. Plus a cream puff filled with "custard" (you can opt for ricotta instead). And an interesting beige white tart and a teeny fruit tart (I actually wanted the bigger fruit tart but they got the mini one instead... I didn't notice until we got home since everything is packed behind the counter). Cannolis were pretty good! Lots of cream and the shells were still crisp, but you could taste the oil since they're deep fried. I should have gotten the smaller size so the proportions would have been more balanced. The cream puff was a cream puff? Nice and light with the thick filling inside that wasn't too sweet. The fruit tart was good with a standard sweet tart shortbread crust. The mystery lattice tart thing was good as well! Not sweet and had very interesting flavors... fairly certain almonds were a part of it. Probably a version of frangipane? My daughter got a Spider-Man cupcake. Their cupcakes have a thin icing type topping instead of your typical piped frosting on top. They're also filled with a buttery frosting that isn't too sweet! I was pleasantly surprised. I was apprehensive when she was adamant on getting that cupcake because they're often overly sweet. I would like to note that a lot of their creams/custard filled goodies use the same filling. And it's not what I expected. Custard, it said. The filling was definitely more dense, not too sweet (a great thing), but also slightly grainy. I can't say they were eggy and they were far from the consistency of pudding. I'm thinking they might be ricotta based? The most loose "filling" we ate was probably the cannoli cream. Overall, I'm not sure exactly what I ate since they never really went the extra step or elaborated when I asked questions. Very to the point for a group of teenagers who were behind the counter. They were nice? But sort of uninterested. They seemed a little more enthusiastic about the other family. Oh yes. I also ordered a coffee for my husband... which wasn't rung up. I went back wondering where it was and it turns out it was forgotten about but we did eventually get it. He got a large and it is a HUGE cup. So... the goodies were pretty good. I was surprised in several ways - the fact I'm not too sure what I ordered and that they were perfectly sweet. But I found service lacking a bit. I will likely go back again if I'm in the area but I'd probably be just as clueless. We would have tried the goodies there and stayed longer but one of my kids has multiple food allergies and the place doesn't seem great for that (or for non-regulars) so we ate them later when our kid could have something as well. The pastries ended up being about $4-5 each and the cupcake was $4.50 - so the total adds up FAST. There is an automatic 3.75% service charge that was added on... not sure what that's about? The total was about $40 at the end, not including tip. My rating is a 3 because though I generally enjoyed the treats I got, I have mixed feelings due to the experience on this first visit as a whole. I'm hoping my future visits will be better.

I don't love all of the other pastries, it's not my style- but I keep coming here for specifically for this cookie and it's perfect. The rum baba has a soft spongey soaked dough- but I've had better. It wasn't quite rummy enough
