Quite possibly the best all around bakery in NJ, at least from where I visited. Cakes. Got it. Cookies. Got it. Pastries. Got it. Donuts. Got it. Fresh baked bread. Got it. Delicious ass sandwiches made with the delicious ass bread. Got it. This place has it all. Great staff too.

not only just an italian bakery with a ton of options but also a place to get lunch. they have great italian sandwiches on fresh bread - i ordered the eggplant, zucchini, roasted red peppers, & balsamic glaze sandwich. so nice to see there was a vegan option & it was ready within ten minutes. i ate at one of their tables - quiet, cozy & quaint. definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick lunch bite in summit, definitely underrated!

Panini - Two sandwiches with bread, greens, and meat are served on a white plate, with a serrated knife nearby.

I love this place and all the baked items and pastries. We tried the food today. The warm panini of broccoli rabe and roast pork was very fresh and good. The tiny quiche was a little dry. Stick to the fresh sandwiches or pizzas. And don't forget the dessert!

Based on my two macarons, a raspberry and a chocolate, three stars. Why only 3? I'll get to it. The bakery is nice, clean, and filled with plenty of cakes, tarts, cookies, and other goodie combos. Service is nice. Polite. I'm gluten free. I don't make a big deal of it. In rare instances I'll have a taste of something, but most likely, not. I'll pick out a macaron any day. I like my macarons to have a bit of a soft crunch on the outside, and not be too sweet. Both the ones I bought here lacked those qualities. It was like eating a preserve cookie that was too fresh and the preserve was sweetened with sugar. Everything here looks good. Sometimes looks can be deceiving. Never judge a book by its cover.

The butter roll was so yummy and exactly what I needed as a quick snack. The staff was super friendly and they were willing to tell us about all their treats and make recommendations

It looks like everything is made in-house, and we especially appreciated that their bread is sourdough. They offer a great variety of breads and baked goods. We kept it simple and tried a gluten-free hazelnut chocolate cake, a chocolate mousse, a chocolate chip cookie, and a latte that came with a small espresso cookie on the side. The service was outstanding, and everything we had was delicious. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more items.

Everything looked so delicious! We wanted to dine in and followed the signs to the seating area which was also bustling. We were seated across from each other at a long communal table, which is fine, but our neighbors seemed offput by having to move their coats and bags off the chairs. We were sitting so tightly together that I could barely shrug my jacket off without elbowing my neighbors. We waited and looked around for about 10 minutes. When no server approached us, we realized we needed to get up and order at the back counter. This was not made clear. Orange Juice for me (fresh squeezed - $12), iced coffee for him, the Spreads and Breads, and the Schnitzel Sandwich. We also split a small cinnamon bun. Our bill was nearly $80. Yowza. I will say that everything we ordered was good. We had things to do so we essentially ate and left. We were in and out in under 45 minutes. This is definitely a locals kind of place. We'll opt to grab-and-go if we are in the area again.

Because they usually disappoint in the flavor department, I try to manage expectations. A friend served these at dinner last night and I smiled politely before my first bite but man-oh-man do they live up to the tiny perfection of their appearance. Light, airy cake, both chocolate and vanilla-based -- already pretty unusual. But some with added surprise touches of chips or sprinkles in exactly right proportions. And the frosting, just...WOW. Holy Toledo. Fluffy clouds of delicate buttercream, not a hint of greasiness or grinding sugar!!! With actual flavor of fruit in the strawberry and lemon and vanilla in the white toppings. My dream frosting in precisely the right amount relative to itty-bitty cake size. Remarkably, as tiny ones tend to quickly stakes, they are tasting just as amazing the next day, as I type this. Plus, the ones I passed over last night, thinking "meh, blue frosting, that'll be unbearably sweet" or had other reservations about? Uniformly delicious!!! Do I sound ridiculously fulsome about mini cupcakes? Yes, yes I do. But only because these are probably the best I've had in a decade (of many, many cupcake trials), in ANY size. The fact that they are beautiful, minute replicas of gourmet grown-up cupcakes is like getting a winning scratch-off in your birthday card from grandma. Pure bliss.

Wish they had more GF options since the cupcakes I picked up were delicious. I got two vanilla…read morecupcakes with vanilla/sprinkles and chocolate frosting. The chocolate frosting was thicker than the vanilla and the vanilla was definitely fluffier and lighter. Both were good but different. Other options were mini cupcakes but some cookies and other things in GF would have been great.
