Wow factor when opening the box was awesome! So elegant. Vanilla tasted buttery and the chocolate was rich but subtle. My go to place now.

Called on a Wednesday asking if they could turn around 18 buttercream First Communion cupcakes by Saturday! They told me if I got the order in they could do them by Friday afternoon. I requested "pastel colors", "simple and elegant", "crosses" and "flowers". I could not have been happier. They were gorgeous!!! Moist and delicious. Love supporting a local business and will do so in the future for sure!

Got the order wrong. Cake was super dry and tasted like flour.

I ordered a birthday cake from Jammed Up, and I was disappointed with what I received. I ordered my custom cake through their website. I waited a couple of days and got no response, so I decided to message them on Instagram. They then got back to me almost instantly. My order was for a funfetti cake (not gluten-free, not vegan) with a white chocolate mousse filling and pink buttercream on the outside. I provided some images for what I was looking for and also asked for a gold drip and some decoration on the top including fresh flowers. I went to pick up my cake and decided not to open it because I had high hopes that it would meet my expectations. However, when I got to the car I took a peek at it. The outside looked plain and like it had been rushed. The gold drip looked more orange and you could see the paint marks where they had colored it. Even after being disappointed with the looks of it, I thought that it would taste good. When the time came to cut the cake it was extremely hard. Between the layers of cake, it was dark chocolate mousse instead of white chocolate. As for taste, the actual cake tasted like flour and was dry. All in all, I would not recommend this bakery. The cake that I received was not worth the price. I was very disappointed and will not be going back.

I needed an egg free cake for my daughter's birthday when my original plan fell through. Although they usually need 3+ days for custom cakes, I called and explained the situation and they looked at their calendar and offered to accommodate me. I am so thankful! The cake was delicious. No one would have ever suspected such a delicious cake to be vegan! Thank you for saving the day. With your allergy precautions, you earned a regular customer.

They made my 44th Birthday cake exactly as ordered! It was so yummy! This was my second cake from here. They also made my son's 3rd Birthday cake which was so good!

Beautiful vanilla ombré tiered cake with butter cream frosting - yum!

This was the first time I ordered a cake from Jammed Up. It was tiered with an ombré effect and butter cream frosting. It was beautiful -- we displayed it during the party. There were so many compliments -- 'best cake I've ever had' was a repeated refrain -- not kidding! I think they liked it because the cake portion had a richness that reminded me of a light pound cake my mother made when I was young - which is a true compliment. A true cake, elegantly created and yummy!

How a simple chocolate chip cookie can taste soooo good is beyond me! I can't wait to check back for larger doggie treats too.

The people are so nice and friendly, and they're right next to Van Gogh's Ear so they have a great showcase for their baked treats!

Very easy ordering process, recently ordered assorted cookies for Valentine's Day. Order was packaged securely, cookies were very fresh and everyone was happy to see the familiar Bovella's box of treats on our kitchen counter. Fudge filled American butter cookies and rainbow cookies are still our family's favorite!

Passed by this place countless times since it's on a main Street in downtown Westfield and finally…read moremade it in with my family on a Saturday morning. We were greeted as soon as we walked in... and then I quickly realized there were THREE people behind the counter. We were the only ones there for a few moments before another family walked in behind us. They had gone there before so generally knew what they wanted. Me? Not so much. Despite how many people were working at the time, there were no explanations or help... but they do respond to questions. They have a few small tables but it's a relatively small store. There are display cases filled with cookies, pastries, cupcakes, and cakes. Lots of character in there, but nothing is labeled and there are no prices other than the cookies (they're purchased by weight... 1 lb is 10 cookies). I sort of ran with it, but since I don't know the names of half the items, this will be a more general review. I grabbed a lobster tail and a sfogliatelle. They look similar at first glance... but when I asked, they are definitely NOT the same thing. In fact, she sounded a bit offended I asked. Hahaha. She mentioned something about the sfogliatelle being baked? It also comes in two sizes and I got the large. I later ate them and... I'm not too sure what the difference is because they're similar in shape. The lobster tail seems to be a flaky pastry that was cut in half and the cream piped in. The sfogliatelle was not cut but it was filled as well and I'm pretty sure they added orange zest to it... I liked that. The lobster tail didn't have any citrus that I remembered. I enjoyed them... but we ate them the next day. They weren't the crispiest then. Also got two large cannoli's filled with the regular cream. Plus a cream puff filled with "custard" (you can opt for ricotta instead). And an interesting beige white tart and a teeny fruit tart (I actually wanted the bigger fruit tart but they got the mini one instead... I didn't notice until we got home since everything is packed behind the counter). Cannolis were pretty good! Lots of cream and the shells were still crisp, but you could taste the oil since they're deep fried. I should have gotten the smaller size so the proportions would have been more balanced. The cream puff was a cream puff? Nice and light with the thick filling inside that wasn't too sweet. The fruit tart was good with a standard sweet tart shortbread crust. The mystery lattice tart thing was good as well! Not sweet and had very interesting flavors... fairly certain almonds were a part of it. Probably a version of frangipane? My daughter got a Spider-Man cupcake. Their cupcakes have a thin icing type topping instead of your typical piped frosting on top. They're also filled with a buttery frosting that isn't too sweet! I was pleasantly surprised. I was apprehensive when she was adamant on getting that cupcake because they're often overly sweet. I would like to note that a lot of their creams/custard filled goodies use the same filling. And it's not what I expected. Custard, it said. The filling was definitely more dense, not too sweet (a great thing), but also slightly grainy. I can't say they were eggy and they were far from the consistency of pudding. I'm thinking they might be ricotta based? The most loose "filling" we ate was probably the cannoli cream. Overall, I'm not sure exactly what I ate since they never really went the extra step or elaborated when I asked questions. Very to the point for a group of teenagers who were behind the counter. They were nice? But sort of uninterested. They seemed a little more enthusiastic about the other family. Oh yes. I also ordered a coffee for my husband... which wasn't rung up. I went back wondering where it was and it turns out it was forgotten about but we did eventually get it. He got a large and it is a HUGE cup. So... the goodies were pretty good. I was surprised in several ways - the fact I'm not too sure what I ordered and that they were perfectly sweet. But I found service lacking a bit. I will likely go back again if I'm in the area but I'd probably be just as clueless. We would have tried the goodies there and stayed longer but one of my kids has multiple food allergies and the place doesn't seem great for that (or for non-regulars) so we ate them later when our kid could have something as well. The pastries ended up being about $4-5 each and the cupcake was $4.50 - so the total adds up FAST. There is an automatic 3.75% service charge that was added on... not sure what that's about? The total was about $40 at the end, not including tip. My rating is a 3 because though I generally enjoyed the treats I got, I have mixed feelings due to the experience on this first visit as a whole. I'm hoping my future visits will be better.

Each step I took felt less like a choice and more like I was being led. And my nose led me straight to CeeCee's Cupcake Palace. That is where I met CeeCee. She has the kind of kindness that makes it impossible to just walk away without trying some of her delicious smelling cupcakes and treats. Even as guy that doesn't enjoy a cupcake or a piece of cake, the first bite into CeeCees cupcakes changed my whole perception of cake as a whole. And while her cupcakes are delicious her cake pops are absolutely to die for. After my first time trying CeeCees I understood something important: this wasn't just about cupcakes or cake pops. It was about joy, carefully crafted and generously shared in the form of cake. All shoppers of the freehold mall are spoiled with this cupcake establishment and I now have a newfound appreciation for the kind of magic only CeeCee can bake.

As I made my journey to Ulta, I saw this intriguing bakery with bright lights and bright pink colors. I made a mental note to stop by on my way out, which I did. Cee Cee's Cupcake Palace is a black and family owned business in the mall. They seem to specialize in these massive cupcakes with some flavors being named after some of our favorite soul food desserts, such as sweet potato pie and banana pudding. Those are the two flavors I decided to buy. Service was prompt, friendly, and efficient. The cupcakes themselves were just okay to me. I like moist cupcakes and these were a little dry. The toppings and fillings helped add a little moisture to the cake. Nevertheless and overall, it's a pretty solid spot. It's not something I'm in a rush to return to, but would be willing to try again at another time.
