I'm a big sandwich guy, growing up working in a NY deli that was locally legendary. So, it's hard for me to rate a chain highly with so many great mom & pop shops around (the now closed "Carved" in Sterling, for example). It does the job. My kids love the Rosemary Parmesan bread. This one in particular at least seems to be very frugal on the meat. I even ordered extra meat on door dash for an extra $4 and it was still very lonely on the giant sub. During covid times, Jersey Mike's delivers via UberEats, Door Dash, and GrubHub. My hubs and I were in the mood for Italian subs (#13 on their menu). I wanted a "mini" which is like a quarter of a sub while he wanted "regular" which is about half. Accidentally, they made 2 regulars which was really nice of them. According to their menu, it was supposed to have provolone, ham, prosciutto, capicola, salami, and pepperoni, but it seemed to be really heavy on the ham and skimpy or actually missing some of the other meat types listed. I have three suggestions.. though everything is good as long as the line is on point and hears your order out.. ham salami provo lettuce tomato mayo oil vinegar salt pepper oregano and onions.. banana peppers if you want a kick.. reg white roll.. winner!!!! I went in the other day very randomly and had my first Jersey Mike's sub. I had the Italian cheeseburger with chipotle mayo. It was cool not too memorable. I thought the legendary Jersey Mike's would have me running back for more but it was just ok. Workers were nice. I didn't like how the guy making my sandwich had to keep stopping to move the stove or whatever it was. Going under the counter to pull things and then still cooking the food? 1st and only time I will be ordering from this company! My colleagues and I from work put in an order on Sunday through Ubereats for 6 various subs. After over an hour later we checked and it showed the order as being completed??!! Clearly nothing was received by us so we started the in app chat process to inquire about the order. Despite the poor reputation of at least one of their area locations, this (and most) Jersey Mike's spots makes a good commercial-grade sandwich. Sometimes they're a bit surly behind the counter or sloppy in their wrapping, but their #7 (turkey and provalone) and #13 (original Italian) are predictably tasty. I wouldn't be quick to compare a sub chain to a good neighborhood Italian deli, but the latter isn't found everywhere. Jersey Mike's is usually very accommodating to requests for adding (or removing) secondary components, special sandwich cutting or marking. We usually pick-up in person, rather than using one of the delivery services, and they aren't always ready at the time indicated by their website. That said, we aren't kept waiting long. read more

I have eaten Jersey Mike's subs before, and thought they were good, but not exceptional. This is the first regular sized sub I purchased today. My daughter had a gift card, and the cashier had no idea how to check the balance. That's all right, maybe he is a new employee. The man who took my order did not speak up, and the other worker made more food than I had ordered as a result. I did not pay for a full size when I only ordered a regular size. Jersey Mike's Subs are so good and I love having one so close to my house. Besides having great subs, their differentiator is the quality of their service. They have an assembly line method where everyone greets you with a smile. I usually get the Club Sub which has turkey, ham, bacon and provolone and ask for it Mike's Way which includes lettuce, tomatoes, onion, salt, pepper, oregano, and oil and vinegar.
