I've never been treated so badly at Five Guys!! The employee calling out the order numbers was flat-out nasty, hostile, and acted like customers were an inconvenience. He barked numbers with attitude, rolled his eyes, and spoke in a disrespectful, sarcastic tone that was completely uncalled for. It felt uncomfortable and embarrassing just standing there waiting for food I paid good money for. This wasn't "having a bad day" -- it was outright unprofessional behavior. No amount of decent food makes up for being treated like garbage. Management seriously needs to address this, because customer service like that will drive people away!!!! read more

My kids wanted fries so I came here. I've been to this location several times without issue and this time was no different. Fun fact: I used to mystery shop quite a bit for Five Guys some years ago. I learned the employees are supposed to take a scoop of fries and put it directly into the bag for each order of fries that you purchase. I always appreciate the extra fries which are always hot, crispy and perfectly salted. My kids never notice how much of their fries I've eaten on the way home because of this :-) Although I have not eaten meat in quite some time, their burgers have always been tasty from what I remember. This is good place for a burger. Very close to home. Their patty is very fresh, never frozen. I usually order all the way (which includes all the ingredients) with jalapeno. It usually come out delicious. We ordered small fries, but they give you much more, never skimpy on the portion. Small burger 1 patty is good size. Regular burger has 2 patties. They also have hotdogs (Hebrew National). I had hotdog there before, they are okay. I'm going to give this one a short review, because I have done a lot of five guys reviews in the past. This location was a decently clean, the staff was rude, but wasn't friendly either. Of all the five guys locations I have visited, this one had the worst wait time by far! We waited over 25 minutes for our food. It was only two people ordering. And this seemed pretty ridiculous to me. Also, there was a minimal amount of fries, which goes against the five guys standards. Hockey pucks in the guise of hamburgers. They tout the quality of their meat, but refuse to cook them anything but well done. Maybe the ground beef isn't so great after all? Someone took me to five guys and it changed my life because hearing " all toppings are free" is nuts and it's no way that can be true right? Well I was wrong I went there and didn't know they had their own lingo. A little cheeseburger is a regular cheeseburger and asking for a cheeseburger is a double cheeseburger. So my first time I went and ordered a bacon cheeseburger, regular fries, and a salted caramel shake for about $12-$15 sounds pricey but listen to what you get. While you wait for your food there is complementary fresh peanuts for you to eat ( I couldn't because I'm allergic) but all your food is made to order so I ordered my bacon cheeseburger and got lettuce tomatoes pickles and A1 sauce all for free and whatever size fry your order they give you that and more and what I mean by that are BAG FRIES. They literally give you a cup of fries and whatever was left in the pan they dump in your bag and all their shakes are 24oz cups. After that meal I was stuffed like a thanksgiving turkey and I was not complaining. You ever want a good a real good burger hit 5 guys you will not regret it. read more

Great local Five Guys. It's really clean and they are pretty fast. We usually get their little cheese burgers--which aren't really little just one patty. I've never had an order messed up even though they are always busy and we come here pretty often. There aren't a lot of burger spots in this area so because of that alone it's probably one of the best that's not a restaurant. read more

Really poor dining experience at this location. We went on a Saturday at 7pm. Order 2 little burgers, a hot dog, fries, and Shake. They weren't busy when we came in but slowly the customer count went up. Soon there were over 15 people waiting for food. Only one person taking orders, he was calling out the items to cooks making the burgers. No one was calling out numbers so customers had no idea when their food was ready. Our food sat on the counter for a while. By the time we went up and asked for our food everything was a soggy mess. Fries were cold and soggy. We asked for the manager who was no where to be found. We complained via their website and were called by the district manager who said 'there is audio and video in the restaurant' almost like they didn't believe us. I'm happy to give you our receipt buddy. The district manager also went on the day how they are the busiest store in NJ, should you staff your store better then rather than making excuses? The district manager did nothing to make our experience right, did not apologize or act concerned at all. $30 for burgers; train your staff on how to call out orders when you have so many customers waiting on food. And staff your store correctly for a Saturday night. Manager(s) should be on the floor doing table touches not MIA. Several customers dining in had the same issue and were unhappy. The food is amazing you can get virtually any combo of toppings on your burger and the taste is just amazingly fresh and out of this world... BEWARE... The fries are to much for one person so dont go and order a large frie thinking you can take them down again this is not mickey ds. Another Five Guys location that knows how to serve a great burger. As usual, a small order of fries is too big for one person - so I had to really put that diet thought out of my mind in order to finish my order. The cheeseburger is one of the better ones out there and it is nice to have to wait a few minutes for your fresh burger to be cooked in front of your eyes. No steam drawers here! I received an excellent hotdog and fries. I received terrible customer service with a huge dose of attitude. Their soda machine was dispensing seltzer water when I picked up my order. Went back in after eating my hotdog and fries to get a new cup of dt Coke. It had to be 20 minutes from when I first filled my glass amd was told it was fixed. It wasn't, and I requested a bottle of soda which I paid the difference for. However when she tried to charge me more that it should have been, the cashier copped a huge attitude and said this is was the cash register says a large Coke is. I showed the receipt and price on the board, and she wouldn't serve me. She refused to ring it up. In the end, I was charged the correct amount by another cashier. I've had Five Guys in Cali before but it didn't blow me away like this location did. The lady taking our order was pretty jolly; huge smile. She let my female companion know that "her money was no good there" as she gave me a wink. If that isn't Girl Power, not sure what is. I half expected the Spice Girls to jump out of the wall and start singing. Being the BOSS that I am (hahaha), I was going to cover the bill anyways; but, damn -- this lady made me feel good about parting with my cash; what can I say? Girl's got talent! She did bribe me, though, by promising to make me a special sandwich unlike one I had ever had. So we wait about 10 minutes for our order. My friend got her burger first (cheeseburger); I told her to go on with her bad self and start eating it b/c I had a flight to catch right after. When my sandwich finally arrived, i peeled open the foil to reveal a steaming hot burger that was so big I had to keep the foil wrapped around it like a condom so that the juices wouldn't escape. The veggies were marinated, grilled, full of flavor and just the right temperature. The patty was neither hard, nor soft. Topped with ketchup, my first bite was memorable. The fries are better here than at In-N-Out; remember to order just one serving for you and a companion - neither of us was able to finish our shared fries. My friend must have enjoyed her cheeseburger because she ate the whole damn thing. Five Guys gets a solid Five Stars. Entertaining server, solid burgers. I came by last week and they were closed for renovations. That's fine. A sign and covered windows made an appropriate statement. Came by today at midday. All lights on, neon, uncovered windows. Great. Walk in and manger guy says we're still closed. Why waste everyone's time looking like you're open, when you aren't. I saw this happen to others as I walked away. Stupid. This is my go to burger spot. I don't eat burgers as often as I used to - too many calories and I'm trying to watch my cholesterol. When the burger craving hits I want a quality burger that looks like real meat, not the shoe leather that other fast food places try to pass off as meat (McDonald's I am talking to you). I have never had a bad burger from here, Never. It is always tasty, always juicy; I savor every bite. The fries are fantastic! Greasy but good. The portions are huge. I order the small fries and I still cant finish them. I usually order the little burger as well, the regular one ( which is 2 burger patties) is too much for me. I haven't had a burger from McDonald's , Wendy's or Burger King since i started eating at Five Guys. It would be cool if they offered a turkey burger as a lower calorie/healthy option. Maybe one day.
