Service is great like other locations I've tried plus they even have some outdoor seating. It's even better when they're running a special. Ahh, Shake Shack. When this location first opened up, it was insanely busy. Much like how the Morris Plains Chick-fil-A was when it got its start. At this location, parking is tight, unless you're coming at an off hour. The Shack occupies a corner spot, slightly near one of the main entrances of the parking lot, so you know their will be minor traffic jams when several incoming vehicles have this place set as the final destination. The inside has a concrete, industrial look. However, with the glass windows, plenty of sunlight can penetrate the place. The bathrooms are located in the back. Then, there are the entrances. There's the front, main entrance, near the register, and the back entrance where you can make a quick exit if needed. It's located by the bathrooms. The ketchup and water pumps are easy to use. As for ordering, get in line, or pre-order with their app. If eating in, you'll get a buzzer that lets you know when your meal is ready. As for food? Well it's Shake Shack and pretty standardized as Shake Shacks go. They have beef, chicken, hotdogs, shakes, fries, and doggie treats. Generally you can mix and match items. Burger with fries? (Single? Double? Triple? With or without cheese? Breaded and fried Portobello mushroom stuffed with cheese? Chicken? Bacon? You want a hotdog instead?--actually their dogs are kinda salty, so perhaps stick with their potato bunned offerings instead). I haven't had their shakes, but legends say they're quite thick. Their fries are crinkle cut, and as far as fries go, they just seem like deep fried potatoes with salt on them, but not necessarily married. When they cooldown, they're much less enjoyable. I've mostly stuck with their burgers. However, I am partial to In-N-Out, and price wise, you might want to consider how much value you get out of dining here. But if you're shopping in the area, or if you are craving some kind of fast food burger, this place isn't a bad option. read more

On this trip I tried their new, limited time, BBQ Boneless Baby Back Rib Sandwich. $12.99 before tax or tip. No fries. No drink. For me that's a lot. It was good though. Surprisingly good. I expected a slightly elevated version of the McRib, and frankly, that's what it looked like, but I was wrong. It tasted pretty darn close to a real pulled pork BBQ sandwich. The sauce was good; tangy and not too sweet. The coleslaw was crisp and creamy and the pickles added a nice vinegary crunch. If it was $3 less, I'd head straight back for another. The location itself is always spotlessly clean and well maintained. The employees are polite and efficient. There are plenty of tables and the parking is plentiful. They've been hyping up the Truffle burger, so we stopped into get a regular truffle burger, and a truffle shack stack (mushroom & burger). What came out was underwhelming. There was a dab of truffle sauce on the burgers, both, and we ended up showing them and they gave us a side of the truffle sauce without too much complaint, but that was cold, which made the burgers less tasty since it brought down the temp of both. The fried onions on the truffle burger were good; the shack stack is better with the lettuce and tomato instead. Overall, have had better truffle burgers, pass. Back to the classics. read more

This is the best Shake Shack location, IMO. I've eaten here, at Bridgewater and Menlo Park. I came with 3 others, 2 of whom are insanely picky. They're still talking about the burgers. The meat was very fresh, with a nice sear on the outside but tender and juicy on the inside. Here you add the toppings to the burger v. asking to remove. We ordered cheeseburgers, mine was with fried crispy onions, chicken bites, fries, a chocolate and a vanilla milk shake. Everything was delicious. I'm sorry I didn't take photos and plan to next time. We ate outside with our dog and the staff was very kind. The tables have umbrellas. They give you a number when you order and bring the food to your table. The place was clean, including the bathroom and there's plenty of parking. They're located next to The Container Store and in the same complex as Starbucks. We plan to come back. read more

Fries were cooked to perfection, came out warm and delicious. If you go during the weekend, be prepared to wait up to 45 min! Exactly what you'd expect from a shake shake. They also have an ample amount of seating, including outdoor seating. My one complaint is that they don't have packaging that is conducive for to-go orders. The packaging is an open tray in a bag with nothing covered. I remember waiting over 45 minutes in line for the original shake shack and it was really worth the wait. And then more and more opened up and the quality just was not the same and I have not been to one since. This location is quite alright. Cannot comment on the service since we always order via the app and just pick up from the rack. The black and white shake is always good. Their burger is tasty and just a little different from anywhere else. There is nothing like the shroom burger. The fries are good but not too special. This location has outdoor seatings and a few TVs inside. It's a comfortable place to enjoy your meal. It is quite expensive though paying more than $7 for a burger (and more than $10 for a shroom burger) which isn't particularly big. But it's definitely higher quality compared to most fast food restaurants. read more

This is a review of my pickup experience from tonight, 4/17/24. I placed an order on the app for pickup. My son went to pick it up. By the time I came home and looked at the order, there were no utensils, napkins, ketchup, and straws. Worse yet, my lemonade was missing. I called the manager, and he apologized, and asked me to go back to pick up the lemonade. When I arrived, I asked to speak to the manager. He came quickly, and apologized. I told him all the utensils were missing. He said there was an option on the app...I told him I would show him the receipt if needed. He said no need. I also said clearly your drinks were all behind the counter. No way could the staff packing my order would miss the lemonade. He again apologized, and asked me to wait. He came back with 2 coupons for a free shake and a free chicken burger. I said that was not necessary, but such a nice gesture. We ordered from this location several times, and nothing like this has happened before. I do think the manager is on top of the store and his staff. I'm a big fan of this chain and appreciate the fact that they serve 100% all natural Angus Beef which is always free from hormones and antibiotics. Popped in today to try the new Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich and Korean Gochujang Chick'n Bites. I wish the fried chicken was a tad more spicy, it was sweeter than I expected, however it was still very tasty, I love the crunchiness from the kimchi. I really liked the chick'n bites, the gochujang dipping sauce was pretty delicious, again, wish it was a bit spicer, but absolutely a notch above the regular chicken bites. Rounded out our order today with chicken stack and a shack stack, the former seemed plain after eating the Korean version. Meanwhile shack stack is great as always. Overall, it was a fairly pricey meal for "fast food" with the total coming out to nearly $40 including a drink. I like Shake Shack. Their burgers, shakes and fries really hit the spot. A little pricey and pretty greasy and now as I get older the grease definitely does not agree with me. This location is fairly new, clean and the staff is pleasant enough. When it gets busy, the line kind of starts going out the door. There's not enough room in the front to accommodate a big lunch or dinner rush. Use the App to order so you can skip the line. I'm not sure if it's Covid or what but we placed an order on the App, went to pick up at the specified time and our order was not ready which is fine. Waiting an extra 30 minutes is not fine. Finally get our order and drive home (5 minute drive) and our shakes are melted. So disappointing considering I probably have a shake maybe three times a year at the most. First time dining at this Shake Shack (with their socially distanced outdoor seating, of course). Ordering process was pretty easy: order & pay at the front, and pick up at the back. The back gets a pretty crowded from people waiting for their food. There doesn't seem to be a great way to queue up or to figure out the order in which we should stand. Our order was pretty simple: a Shack Stack, Smoke Shack, two cheese fries, a soda and a sweetened iced tea. They informed us that the cheese would be packaged separately which is fine. Long story short, the burgers were good but I found the fries' cheese to be lukewarm/cool, the iced tea was not sweetened, and they didn't give us napkins. Because of the constant crowding around the door, it was easier to just take the loss this time... cheese-less ketchup-less fries, tossed out the iced tea, and found a couple napkins in the car. Thankfully the burgers were still good. I'm sure if you brought your order home, all of the above could've been easily remedied with your own ketchup, heating up the cheese, throwing in some sugar into the tea... We unfortunately did not have these options outside. But I'll be curious to see if my normal go-to Shake Shacks are operating like this one. read more

For the first time I am experiencing Shake Shack. Living very close to one for years I have never even thought about the hype. Although there were always people packed in there like sardines, I never once thought about buying the food. Well my wife and I decided to for once and here is what I experienced. The Burger: I ordered a Double Smoke Shack w/ pickles to start. For one, MAN was this burger good! It was VERY satisfying and the peppers were a nice touch. The heat and flavor from the cherry peppers provided the entire burger personality without drowning out the actual taste from the sandwich. My mouth enjoyed the burger and was not overwhelmed at all by the heat. Unlike some other burgers/sandwiches based around peppers and heat, this burger was refreshing and I really wish I ordered another one. The Fries: I ordered Bacon Cheese Fries. The fries that Shake Shack uses are similar in taste and shape to the Ore-ida brand fries. Honestly I would save my money and go to Costco and pick up a 5lb bag of frozen fries and a jar of queso, fry up some bacon and make my own. Cheaper in the long run and will taste about 90% the same. Definitely saving my money next time. Oh and the amount of fries was negligible and was not enough for one person at all. The Shake: I ordered a Cookies and Cream w/ Malt shake. This rounded out my meal and I was in love from he first sip. It was EXTREMELY thick and rich in flavor. The texture was what I expected a shake to have, THICK and FULL BODIED, I could have eaten it with a spoon. I didn't want it to end! The bits of cookie were in every straw-full and I loved the fact that I could chew on something making the entire experience much more enjoyable. I am a fan of Shake Shacks shakes now. In The End: The Shake Shack app has a home on my phone. I will be ordering from them again in the future and will definitely be getting a burger and shake. Skipping their fries, I will be saving my $5 to go to the store and getting a big bag, with a jar of cheese, and some bacon to make at home. All in all, big thumbs up to Shake Shack! read more

The only downside to this location is the parking lot as it gets crowded and tight (as cars coming in struggle to maneuver and not paying attention to the pedestrians). This is at no fault to the restaurant, but mostly towards the property owners, who need to make this parking lot safe for us patrons. read more
