I've been here a few times and have tried the margarita pizza, the nachos, the wrap, and a couple different sandwiches - all are good in their own way. I've been there before, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but yesterday was my first time coming on a Wednesday, which is trivia night and 1/2 price wings and sangria. Our server, Crystal, was so pleasant, attentive and kind. My table enjoyed both boneless and bone-in wings. I must say, the boneless ones are the biggest and meatiest boneless wings that I've seen. I ordered the Korean bbq and garlic parmesan flavors which were both delicious. Also, I had a side of truffle fries which were amazing. The trivia was so much fun and I really enjoyed myself. Go for happy hour stay for the food! We had a little pig, little fig and this cheese! And the fig drizzle with the prosciutto my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Came with two of my coworkers turned friends for a little end of summer and new job celebration. We sat at the bar and the service was amazing. The bartenders were attentive but not too attentive. After my first drink, I asked them to surprise me. They did an amazing job of doing exactly that. Ive been to the other location in Greenbrook many times but this location has a better vibe. I find in Greenbrook sometimes the music is too loud but it was the perfect level. We could talk and actually hear each other. Now onto the food! Ive never had the eggrolls but I will continue to order them. They were delicious. Sometimes calamari is hit or miss but it was fried perfectly! My friend ordered the pizza before I arrived so I'm not sure which one it is BUT as you can see, we enjoyed. There was plenty of parking so you will not have an issue there. I'm surprised at other reviews of Capital. We went here for a group happy hour and I found a large and varied beer list with plenty of craft. They serve excellent food - every single thing we ordered, from the pizza to the potato pancakes (others disagreed, but I loved them) to the nachos (huuuge portion with plenty of toppings) and more. Service was great, attending to our group for whatever we needed. They let us keep our tab open past the 6:00 happy hour window. I'm beyond disappointed that after a recent visit to Capital Craft, I'm switching to two stars, which may be too generous. I visited recently with my best friend and SO for an early post-Christmas lunch. We were seated quickly since it was empty, and our server took our drink orders quickly. I think I am going to die on this hill, but if you have super long hair, it needs to be tied back in food service. I was pretty grossed out at the thought of her hair getting in my food, and it is common practice to require servers to keep it back. We ordered an appetizer of nachos, and I requested that the chicken be served on the side as my best friend and I are both vegetarians, my SO is not and doesn't mind eating meat separately. We ordered our entrees which included two Impossible burgers...which are meatless. The nachos took a long time to get to the table, and when the server put them down, they asked if it was okay if there was chicken on them. There was also a side plate of chicken on it, so why would you ask if it was okay when it's obvious it isn't going to be? I said no to it being okay since there are two vegetarians and we couldn't eat it if there was chicken on it. The server took the nachos back, which we know there is always a risk sending food back. In less than five minutes, the nachos were back on the table, and we were told that they were made fresh for us. I didn't believe that, considering they arrived back quicker than our original order took to make, and they were cold. It's more than likely it was the same nachos with the chicken picked off. I have been to this place like 20 times the past year and a half that I have been in Jersey. We love it here. First of all their$7 dollar espresso martini all day Thursdays is amazing because they make such a good martini. I never expected it. Our waitress was sweet and took our orders quickly, however there was a significant delay with getting our second round of beer after we had the flights. The drafts were good and cold. The service was interesting. Our waiter was super laid back and friendly. Appreciated that he let us linger over our beers without rushing us. But on the other hand, every single plate from apps to entrees sat dirty on our table the whole night. Close to two hours. Was odd he never saw that as a concern. The vibe was sorta nonexistent and it was a Friday night. I think the problem may be that their concept is confusing. Not sure if they are a sports bar, a craft brew pub or a sleek pizza place. I had high hopes for this restaurant as I tend to like craft grill type places. It was dead at lunch on a saturday which should have been a clue. Our waitress took our order and asked what side we wanted with our tacos/sandwiches etc. We also ordered ice tea which was warm when delivered. We never say our waitress again until we had been done for 20 minutes with empty drink glasses. So, the waitress never came to check on us, refill our drinks, etc. She brought the check and we were shocked that the drinks were $5/each and each side was $6. I had heard of Capital Craft but didn't know exactly where it was. After shopping at target, we were pleased to know it was very close to the parking lot. We were able to get a table for a party of three pretty easily on a Saturday night. We ordered the pretzel appetizer, which was delicious with a very good honey mustard, dipping sauce. The crabs stuffed salmon was delicious, but the salmon was much smaller than I expected - especially for $28. Our waiter was extremely nice but didn't stop by very often. The place has several TVs to watch sporting events, and wasn't too loud. I was able to hear my wife who was seated across from me at the table. They have a rewards program for regular dining, which sounds great, but it's rather complicated for figuring out how to accrue points. A group of 6 of us came for brunch and we were super excited to see bottomless mimosas for $20 (2 hour time limit). We had a reservation and were seated immediately. It wasn't crowded when we arrived, but by the time we left, it definitely wsa hopping busy! We started with bottomless mimosas because, duh. We had the crispy brussel sprouts and calamari to share (both were delicious!). I ended up with the california chicken wrap which was humongous. My wife and I have been casual diners here basically since it opened. It's always been kind of slow with the service but we got past that because the beverage selection is above average and the burgers were pretty good. Tonight a group of nine of us (5 adults / 4 kids) went and I'm pretty sure it was our last time going. We arrived at around 5:45 and noticed that it was pretty slow for a dinner crowd. We ordered food for the kids and pretzels for an appetizer. Those came out pretty quick but it took another 15-20 minutes to get our drink order and another 10 for our food order. We asked for pretzels with half no salt half salt, which they did for us. We ate them and asked for another order. 20 minutes later they came out all with salt and were soggy and cold so they were sent back and asked why they all had salt and were told that the kitchen was busy. Another 20 minutes later our entrees came out. Not all at once but sporadically. One order was wrong and had to be sent back. About an hour and 45 minutes later after sitting down, we got our check. One thing that I like about this place is that they offer a 25% discount for law enforcement, which we used numerous times before. When we got our bill, which was over $200, the discount was only $25. We inquired and were told that their 25% had changed today. How ironic. After some back and forth, the manager Brielle (who was very friendly as opposed to the other manager) honored the full 25%, but the overall experience of having a two hour dinner with kids and then having to dispute a promo that's terms were posted nowhere left a bad taste in my mouth. Another thing that I didn't like was something said by the manager. A table next to us sat down and got two soft drinks and got up and left because it took so long for the waiter to return. We told the manager about this and she said that the cameras also record audio and she was going to listen to what they said. If that's the case, they should have it posted somewhere conspicuously because that is flat out wrong and I'd have to question the legality of doing so. read more

If you are staying at Home2 hotel in walking distance from this restaurant, then I found your dinner spot. We sat at the bar, which was pretty large. They even had a large selection of draft beers, and what made my night even better was the large selection of seasonal pumpkin beers. I gave the bartender free range on which beer to put on our beer flight. He did not disappoint, and we even decided on one flavor to get a full glass. The drink menu definitely had me intrigued with all the Halloween theme drinks. I can't say that I've been to many restaurants that do this. I honestly don't even have one in mind. So fun and so festive of which made me love this place even more. I ordered the turkey burger which included brie, apples and aïoli sauce. I think it would've been better if it was some sort of raspberry jam instead of the sauce. It was still delicious but it could've been better. My husband went on the boring route and stuck with his buffalo chicken salad. There was definitely plenty of options that I wanted to order but there's only one of me.
