Lobby - December 2025

Really enjoyed our stay at the Archer Hotel Florham Park over the holidays! We've finally found a nicer hotel nearish to our families. It's a newer hotel located in a business park, not far from the highway. The lobby is industrial chic, and it was decorated festively for the holidays. Staff at the front desk were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. We really appreciated the free parking and their well stocked NOSH/amenities section (think water, sodas, milk, protein drinks, salty snacks, sweet snacks, toiletries...all at reasonable prices). Our room and bed were comfortable! The bathroom was unusually large. Would have preferred a standup shower but the bathtub was fine and helpful for anyone with kids - had a rubber ducky! While there, we enjoyed daily use of their nicely maintained gym/fitness center. They have 3 or 4 treadmills, 1 Peloton bike, a few other machines, free weights, mats, and some TRX equipment, as well as towels and water. Thanks for a comfortable and peaceful stay. We'll likely be back on our next NJ visit.

My husband and I were invited to an event at Archer Hotel! Loved the ambiance! Decor was modern with a touch of vintage items! Loved the art work throughout the hotel. Amazing fire places! Food was very tasty! Plenty of drinks! Staff very accommodating!

So patient which was refreshing... decor is exquisite city mixed with old world charm everything from old fashioned pool tables to chandeliers can be found food is good for bar food very light not a huge menu but still not bad ... drinks were fantastic! and strong i recommend a martini from carlos. my favorite was the personal touch of fresh candies and champagne in my room!

We just had drinks and an app and a burger at the bar. The wings were great and the I'd get the burger again. Bartenders were also friendly.

Ask the Community - Archer Hotel Florham Park

Has anyone stayed here for their wedding night? If so, any suggestions/recommendations? Do they add any special touches for newlyweds?

They do offer different packages. It is a very nice upscale hotel.

Is this property dog friendly? Edited to ask-- are larger, well trained dogs permitted for an additional fee? I have a well trained golden retriever and live locally but am…

Yes, for pets under 25lbs. All service dogs are welcome.

While the aesthetic has a hipster edge to it, let's be clear: this is not a place where you get a cheap bucket of beer served by a pretentious, disinterested bartender. It is a haven for people who truly appreciate exceptional spirits. They distill incredibly high-quality, rare spirits right on-site, and the innovation and quality show in every glass. It is obvious that an immense amount of thought, care, and consideration goes into the flavor profiles of both their unique creations and their brilliant takes on classics. The drinks are pricey, but it's worth it for the premium experience. Their rum old fashioned is a personal favorite -- a truly innovative take on a timeless cocktail. For those who abstain from alcoholic beverages -- they do have a handful of tasty mocktails available. What elevates the experience even further is the exceptional service behind the rail. Instead of the indifferent attitude you get at some trendy spots, the team here is welcoming and highly engaged. They take the time to ask about your flavor preferences to recommend the perfect drink. The space can get quite loud and high-energy -- especially when multiple lively groups or bachelorette parties are overlapping -- so be prepared for the cacophony. Even so, for phenomenal cocktails and incredible service, this place is unmatched! If you want a masterfully crafted drink in an unforgettable, high-energy setting, this is the spot. We will definitely be back! PRO TIP #1: New Jersey's draconian liquor laws prohibit microbreweries or distilleries from serving food, so bring your own snacks or order via your favorite delivery app. PRO TIP #2: Dismal Harmony does not have a private parking lot, but there is plenty of paid on-street parking on Morris Street. Bring change or use the ParkMobile app for the meters ($1 per hour) Monday through Saturday from 8am til 6PM; all street meters are free Monday through Saturday after 6pm and all day on Sunday. If you can't find a spot on the street, paid parking is also available in the Morristown Parking Authority Lot #10 (12 Wilmot Street).

Staff were very helpful & friendly. You have to take your time and look through this place just to appreciate it. They even have ashtrays mounted on the wall between urinals so you truly never have to leave your cigar behind, lol. They have a huge parking lot as they sit on a site all their own. I was surprised to learn that when ordering food (not desserts or drinks) you get a cigar with it. You don't choose it, they do. I got a 'Romeo y Julieta Reserve,' so a quality cigar, not some random nonsense. Not truly sure if that is every time, or just your first time there, which for me it was. I ordered their parm garlic wings & they were very good and well prepared. The space is great & very comfortable. Servers come to you and take your order and bring your food, so you never have to even leave your lounge chair. I found 4 cigars that I hadn't been able to find elsewhere & 2 cigars that I ended up ordering online in the past. Now I know where to find all 6 for future enjoyment. Prices on everything are fair. For 5 cigars, food, non-alcoholic drink, & tip I spent about $110 & got a good complimentary cigar. This place will be highly recommended by me moving forward.

There are very few places left in the world where you can smoke cigars indoors while eating lunch…read more The food here is very mediocre ... and expensive! You do get a free cigar (which is actually a pretty nice, brand name stick in most cases) with your meal, which I am sure goes with the cost. Before the world went utterly insane with inflation ... It used to be one of the best deals ever. The food was $12.95 plus the free cigar! Now, it's more like $23 per sandwich. Owch. The best value was the cheese plate, which at $15 was huge and included fruit. Now, that cheese platter is actually smaller than it used to be and costs $44! The decor is pretty cool ... dark and moody ... but there are a couple TVs with sports playing and high ceilings. The air purification makes it smell a lot less like cigar smoke than it used to ... but know that whatever clothes you wear here will likely need a dry cleaning after. The waitresses have been here forever ... and there are a lot of regulars. Imagine what a guy would look like that would want to smoke a cigar while eating and that's exactly what you will find here as a customer. Fake Sopramos accent ... beefy ... loud ... gold chain ... It's a 'bro crowd' for sure with some flashy investment banker types mixed in. Lots of Hummers and G-Wagons in the parking lot. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves cigars. The food is edible and in some cases even good. But nothing amazing. I've had the corned beef sandwich ... don't expect NYC deli quality ... the flatbread (Trader Joe's is just as good) ... and the Cuban sandwich. All okay. The Cuban left me hungry. You can also eat at the bar and peruse their extensive whiskey and beer menu. The drinks are pricey, so a sandwich, a beer ... and I guess you could count the free cigar ... come to around $40, after tip.
