Can't believe it's been so long since I've reviewed Tiff's. I live in the neighborhood and have probably eaten here upwards of 100 times. Why I love Tiff's: + It's always reliable. Classic and easy to please food like wings, burgers, dillas, sandwiches. My new fave is the balsamic veggie quesadilla. It's all great. + Full bar and lots of beers and tap + Fast and friendly service + Always plenty of seating, both indoors and out. The outdoor patio is really nice too. + My top reason - so good for kids. Kid's menu portions are large and prices are fair. My kids are always happy with the food here. We recently came in on a Sunday which is kids eat free day, and they also have a balloon artist which is cute. + A full bar with lots of TVs and an upstairs comedy club. Overall this is a wonderful spot to have in the neighborhood, and we're regulars and huge fans. read more

In a word....meh. Seems to me the food was cooked earlier and reheated, dry. Didn't enjoy the electronic menu. Found it hard to navigate. I think these folks were in Union. Concept of food is great but they use cheap ingredients...quality is not there. Got a burger and asked for it to be cooked rare, it was medium well... this is a simple request and the difference of how it's cooked changes the flavor of the burger. My friends and I went to Tiff's for lunch this afternoon. It was so delicious! Our waiter was super kind and helpful. We each ordered a burger and they came out great. I ordered the Cherry Bomb Burger. It was Cooke perfectly and the cherry peppers add a great flavor profile. Also, the fries were phenomenal. My friends ordered a Black Bean Burger and a Jersey Burger. They both enjoyed them as well. When we got there, I had seen another table order dessert. I decided to try some. We met up with some friends at this bar/restaurant. They had a parking lot which was convenient. They seemed to have a comedy show upstairs but we hung out at a high top by the bar for dinner to watch the games. They had iPad-type menu/s to view the food and drinks with a lot to choose from. I got the avocado burger which had a choice of a few sides- I chose the fries. Others got salad and burgers but all different variations. It was a fun, casual place where we were able to hang out, watch the games, and catch up. read more

We recently hosted a baby shower at Tiff's Tavern for my son and daughter-in-law, who are expecting a baby boy, and the experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. When I first reached out by email, Alex responded within about 10 minutes. From that moment on he was incredibly helpful, organized, and easy to work with. He walked us through all of the options and helped us create a plan that worked perfectly for our event. One of our biggest priorities was having the food served buffet-style instead of a sit-down lunch, and Alex made sure that was arranged exactly the way we wanted. The food was excellent and everything ran smoothly during the event. Originally I planned to do the decorations myself, but Alex told me they offer decoration packages. My daughter-in-law wanted a jungle theme, which they had available. Alex even shared photos from a similar event he had done in the same room, which helped us picture how everything would look. When we arrived, the decorations were absolutely stunning and far exceeded our expectations. We had family and friends traveling from all over New Jersey as well as Boston, and Morristown turned out to be the perfect central location for everyone. Alex also made sure the children attending had their own menu and even provided coloring sheets and crayons, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everything about the day was seamless, beautiful, and exactly what we hoped for. Alex truly made the entire planning process stress-free, and the event itself was perfect. My significant other and I recently attended a comedy show at Tiff's, and while we had a great time overall, there were a few hiccups. We arrived during the scheduled door time, but it ended up being another 45 minutes before people could actually line up to go upstairs where the show takes place. During the wait, we were told we could grab a table or hang at the bar. We snagged a table in the large bar area, and one of the bartenders provided us with tablets to browse the menu. I ordered a cocktail while we waited, and it was quite good--I was very happy with the service from the staff. The price for my drink was reasonable as well. When it was finally time to line up for the show, there was some confusion and disorganization, with people trying to cut the established line. The venue could improve in corralling people and keeping things orderly. Despite this, we were able to check in fairly quickly and be seated. We had a nice view of the stage, and the sound quality for the show was excellent. We ordered a bucket of Surfsides, which came with too little ice when the drinks weren't that cold to begin with. Overall, we had a fun night and would definitely return to Tiff's for another night out. read more

The burgers were good but the fries were not soft and fresh - we could not eat them. Service was good by our young server. However we were not impressed with the atmosphere - the place was loud especially in the bar area. Surprise - they charge 3% extra if you pay with your credit/debit card. Not happy. We went to Tiff's on a Wednesday night for dinner and a comedy show. I definitely love the fact that it's all in one with good parking available! We sat the bar area, the service was good considering she was the only one managing all the tables and the bar! She still served as fast as she could with a smile! I have been here a few times now. Once for trivia night, once for a comedy show , and once for dinner. The food is delicious, prices are fair and service is top notch. While at the bar, I ordered a chocolates martini. It was good but just didn't sit well with my stomach, I told the bartender not expecting her to do anything about it. She took it off my tab. They have a great craft beer, ipa, wine and cocktail menu if you are just coming to drink. They also have a very diverse food menu. There should be something for everyone to enjoy. The ambiance is loud for trivia night and at the bar but perfect for eating dinner with a friend. They do a lot of free comedy shows where you just have to order a drink or food. For the most part (with maybe one annoying exception) the comedians were hilarious and top tier performers. Tiffs has a lot to offer and a lot going for it. Highly recommend. read more

Stopped in today for lunch had the buy one get one ribs Which were very good and tender instead of french fries or chips you should offer potato salad or baked beans with it. That goes a little bit better with ribs and you should add extra barbecue sauce with it that we had to ask for because they were a little dry without it. Also, you should have regular paper menus that are updated. The girl said that they weren't updated so she couldn't give us one. I really don't like use an iPad to order my meal. There's too much involved with it. Do you wanna have an easy time when you go out to eat? also I ordered the Tito's bloody Mary and it didn't come anything like it shows you on the menu it had no salted rim and celery. First time that I'm here, and off to a bad start, they give you a small iPad to order food from , first of all you can't even read it. It's so dark, I asked for a paper menu and they said they don't have it, how do you expect elderly people to navigate on an iPad that have no experience and not have a paper menu it's totally ridiculous and totally unacceptable. I've been hearing about this place for years. We finally got here for dinner before a comedy show and it was great. Their outdoor area is super cute. The service was great and so was the food. I wish I had taken a pic of the wings - we had tried the new Truffalo flavor which was divine. I had the pear salad and my fiancé had a burger. Great ambiance and a perfect date night out for dinner and a show! Will definitely go here again. Just to note the $1 for bleu cheese and celery is a little ridiculous when they just give you 3 pieces of celery. Why does Tiff's have such a low Yelp rating? Ridiculous. Their drinks are great (although they need rock ice cubes), their ribs are better than any I have had in the area, their burgers and sandwiches are great. Service is excellent. Interesting experience At Tiff's Burger. I was there Tuesday evening with a friend for dinner. Within 30 minutes of paying for the bill with my credit card, it was compromised and two bogus phishing charges were attempted. Their food travels extremely well for delivery. 90% of my orders are delivered because it takes about 15-20 minutes and like i said the food travels extremely well. But if you actually sit down and eat its also a fantastic experience. Food comes out very quick (eta 15 minutes). I don't know what's considered normal or fast or slow but to me it seems quick and NOT in a bad way. Food is very consistent as a long time customer. My review on Tiff's with regard to the normal review standards (Food-3, Service-2, Ambiance-2) are secondary to an incident my wife and I observed during our first (and definitely LAST) visit since it converted from Tiffany's. The food (plain flatbread, a Plain Hamburger and a Bacon Cheeseburger) were fine but unremarkable. The service was less than fine, since our server spilled a good deal of my beer, apologized but didn't take it back to refill OR completely wipe up what spilled. Ambiance leaves a lot to be desired when you are seated around the corner from the restroom when there were other tables available (and offered to other parties of 2). The incident occurred after we received the check and with at least six occupied tables when my wife noticed almost 10 employees working their way around the inside of the restaurant (she commented that someone must be celebrating a birthday and they were going to sing "Happy Birthday!) But they all went to the outside of the restaurant and stood there, arms folded and watching something that was blocked from my view. This continued for at least 10 minutes, then they all filed back in and our waiter came over to pick up the check. I asked him what was going on and he said the manager had to hold a meeting. As we left, I asked the hostess who was in charge; she looked at 2 or 3 other employees that were present and said, "I guess Steve...." So I assume it was "Steve" that felt it necessary to hold a meeting with all employees (with the exception of the kitchen staff) at 6:45PM on a Thursday during service. I just tried to order a takeout meal from Tiff's and was extremely disappointed in their customer service. I was ordering a full rack of ribs but wanted to substitute mac and cheese for the sides they had on their menu. The girl on the phone first told me that they did not have mac and cheese as a side. I noted that they do have mac and cheese on the menu as a kids meal and that I would take whatever was the equivalent of the sides available with the ribs. She checked with the manager and came back to tell me that I could make the substitution but it would cost me $8.00 which was the price of the kids meal. I asked to speak to the manager and explained that I would be fine paying an upcharge to substitute mac and cheese but that it did not seem right that I would not be getting the included side with the ribs and I would be paying for french fries that I did not want with the kids meal. Apparently this was too much for her to handle, and she very rudely told me that there was nothing else she could do. It is utterly ridiculous to turn a customer away over a couple of tablespoons of macaroni and cheese! Perhaps this lack of customer service explains why their other restaurant is now closed. I am now enjoying a delicious rack of ribs from the local diner, paid a $2.00 upcharge for a side of macaroni and cheese AND saved $15.00 over what I would have paid at Tiff's! Needless to say, I will not be returning to Tiff's!! read more

I'm gonna put this out there right now: the folks who talk shit on Tiff's all seem to be a bunch of bitter assholes. Comparing this place to others in town simply isn't fair. People complaining that it's a place for young folks? Get bent, grandpa. The server we here on comedy night - which we're sitting at right now - couldn't be nicer. The food came out fresh and hot. My chicken sandwich with the Truffalo sauce was simply delicious. The housemade chips were a delight. My partner's avocado burger came out cooked to perfection. This is a great local pub that has a variety of beers and solid bar food. I absolutely ADORED the crispy sweet potato fries, regular fries, and onion rings. Burgers were good and ribs were solid. I'm a huge fan of the Tiff's burgers. I've been to the one in Rockaway (now closed) and the one in Union. This is my first time to the one in Morris Plains. I got the Plain + Simple for $10.50 and split the half rack of baby back ribs with my friend for $15. I chose chips for my burger side and onion rings for the half rack side. The burger, as expected, was great. I love the meat mixture and they always butter and toast their buns. Though this time my bun felt less toasted. The chips are my absolute favorite, they're freshly fried and are so crispy! I even got a side of it to go ($6!!!). The ribs felt over priced, they tasted yummy but there just wasn't much meat for the price. The ambience felt more family friendly then date night friendly. It was very lit up and the seating felt more casual. I would come back for the burgers. read more

$14 dollars for eight wings but then they tax you $1 for blue cheese or ranch. The cheesesteak on "ciabatta" is really glorified white bread softer than a baby's arse. The kids chicken fingers were served warm. The waitress took so long delivering the alcohol it was impossible to get banged up.
