I don't typically drive 25+ minutes to try new places but friends of ours said they wanted to try this place out. Apparently had heard good things. Outside, the place is kind of unique. Looks like maybe it was a barn or blacksmith type place, but also looks like during the summer it has a nice patio seating area. Inside, it's a nice big bar when you walk in and a smaller dining room off to the side. The ding room is nice. Tables and chair a bit tight, but nothing bad. Decorated nicely with what seem to be originals from maybe a local artist. Another area I rarely break tradition with is cocktails. I don't stray far but the cocktail menu was really impressive and creative so I decided to try a "Mango Bajito" which was really, really good. We all tried each other drinks and they were all unique and delicious. The menu is interesting. A kind of Latino-Italian mix - things like Chicken Piccata, Mushroom Ravioli (outstanding), Shrimp or steak over guac and tostones, garlic shrimp, etc. Everything was really, really fresh and delicious. The sauces were flavorful without being overbearing. We were there on a Saturday night and they had music after 930 pm (DJ that night) and it was good - not too loud, but entertaining. Seemed like a mellow crowd and there were people dancing as we left, but I wouldn't call it a "clublike" atmosphere (I'm old, so that was good, LOL). Throughout the meal, I believe she was one of the owners, came to our table to check in on us, chat - and she was very nice, and appreciative that we came. To me it was worth the drive across the board. Food, ambiance, service, friendliness and importantly, uniqueness - there are a million Italian restaurants in New Jersey - some good, some great. There are a ton of Latino restaurants too - all with their own cultural flavors - also some good and some great. One11 Bar and Kitchen was great because it had a unique combination AND it was executed well. I'd recommend it. read more

Yelp is spot on once again. My wife and I checked Yelp in a new area and we saw high ratings for One11 and it did not disappoint. It wasn't far from our Dover hotel. My wife loved her seafood pasta. Very fresh and loaded with a variety of quality seafood. I had the blackened chicken sandwich and it was awesome. Had some heat but not too too much so I could handle it and the fries were excellent. The large chicken portion fed me the next day too. The place was packed and continued to get busier as the DJ started Saturday night at 9pm. The service was good and helpful. Really nice place and service. I've noticed they added an outdoor patio for when it gets warmer out which looks really nice. It was empty when I came in and was greeted with a friendly smile and served quickly. The burger was good (a little more cooked than medium) and lacked a little bit of salt imo but overall a decent burger. Fries were very good and I appreciated having the lemon and lime for my drink. Street parking can be busy depending what time you visit. Will be back to try out other items but a solid choice in the area. read more

***4 1/2 stars*** I don't think my top tier chum and I would have ended up here if it wasn't for The Iron Claw, a good but incredibly depressing movie playing nearby in Rockaway. As the credits rolled, we looked at each other and said, "We need a cocktail." This was the number one option for cocktails in the area, and my chum was dubious. "It's in...downtown Dover? Are you sure?" It was, and we'll be back. We came here around dinnertime on the Saturday before Christmas; I suspect the downtown area was more crowded than usual as a result. We were able to secure street parking about two blocks away, but then had an adventure crossing the street to get over here - minimal crosswalks, so be prepared. The menu actually instructed patrons to park in a specific parking lot across the street, so that's definitely good to know going forward as I don't have a ton of interest in recreating my own version of Frogger to get a meal/drink. It was bustling inside as well, but we secured seats at the bar towards the back of the establishment. There was a live musical act that seemed to be setting up in the front, so I wasn't unhappy about our location (we're getting old and cranky). That said, I don't even remember hearing them so the acoustics were either very favorable to us or we dodged a bullet - who can say? The bartender was excellent and clearly knew his mixology, both in terms of overall drink quality and presentation. He was attentive throughout our time there and we never had to look around for him for anything. We each had two drinks. I initially went with an item from their specials menu, which I'm pretty sure had coquito in it (and included a fun, dramatic flair where the bartender basically incinerated cinnamon as he sprinkled it on the top; it was very good but after trying my chum's mule, I decided to pivot to that for my second beverage based mostly on palate preference. Very well made with a nice, mule zip to it. Also a plus? He gave us free shots at the end; I really can't remember a bartender doing that after only two drinks, but I'll take that pretty much every time. A classy move in my book. The food was very solid as well. Really my only nitpick (and the reason I can't commit to a full five stars here) is that we ordered tostones with pernil but it showed up with guac instead, making it considerably drier. But we also were distracted by the other food and never bothered to push back on that when it arrived, so that's for sure partially on us. The tequenos were the highlight for me; flavorful, with a great dipping sauce that emphasized the sweeter nature of the dish without being overwhelming. Hard to do, but that item disappeared quickly. We also got the bacon mac and cheese; honestly I don't think it did anything to set itself apart from other above average macs (not a complaint), but I did like how the bacon was broken up/dispersed on top of it. The fact that I seriously considered giving this a perfect rating despite one of the food items not being correct should tell you a lot. This was also a situation that reminded me favorably of a recent visit to pastaRAMEN in Montclair, where the staff clearly enjoyed working there and with each other - we saw a lot of smiles behind the scenes and good-natured laughter, which contributed overall to a positive experience. Frankly, I want to go back at this point just so they can slightly redeem themselves and I can unequivocally declare it a perfect meal. This is a neighborhood bar with pretty decent food! The space has a few tables, and a large bar section, however, the first thing that hits you is the noise level - it is pretty significant. decore is nothing special and not the reason you come here. The place has a local following, and many of the other patrons know each other. Service was very attentive and the specialty drinks were top-notch (though on the sweet side) The food was good, the menu had various options without being overwhelmingly large, and prices were very reasonable. We tried one of the specials which was our least favorable part of the meal (and had a bit of sticker shock when we got the bill). One11 has only been open for about 4 months now, and what a great addition to the Dover food scene it is! After seeing other Yelp friend's reviews, my wife and I stopped in for a late Sunday lunch. The place has been totally renovated and looks awesome. We sat at the bar and the bartender, Jorge, gave us the history of the location, while also explaining the menu and the details of One11. We also met the chef and owner while there. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The cocktail menu alone is inspiring. My wife had a rum punch and I had a Mule. Jorge explained how they make their own dried fruit which goes into the drinks. My Mule wasn't any mule, it was made of Prickly Pear and the sprig in it was lit on fire. Very cool! We ordered a few appetizers, shrimp in garlic sauce, firecracker calamari, and Siracha tequinos. Each dish was better than the last. We even tried a couple of the homemade desserts, the Tres Leches cake and the Quesillo with rum. Outstanding! We even ran into some friends from town while we were there. A really fun time! There's live music Friday and Saturday nights. Plenty of parking in the area. If you're around Dover looking for an excellent casual meal, I definitely recommend giving One11 a try! read more

I'll start this review with a few words: homemade, fresh, and genuine. The blue cheese was homemade, the kids chicken fingers were homemade, and the fries were homemade... My wife had a flank steak with chimichurri; chimichurri was incredible. The steak was cooked perfectly. I had a blackened chicken sandwich with mozzarella and homemade blue cheese. It was spicy, but not overly heat eccentric and just WOW! Mac & cheese for my other child was great with a little bit of crumbled bacon on top. She absolutely loved it... She's two years old. My wife had a House margarita on a special because we came in on a Tuesday night - $8 dollars. She thought it was very good. Everything was absolutely incredible. The chef is also the owner, and to be honest the vision was inspiring, and we will certainly be back! On Friday and Saturday after 9 PM the place turns into a dance club... Cool spot in the Dover, Randolph area. Warm, welcoming tavern style decor. Super friendly and attentive staff. Outstanding service. We started with a couple apps. Dry rub wings and Sausage puff pastry. The wings were alright. But they were bland and really didn't have any seasoning or dry rub to speak of. Just a little salt and pepper. I probably wouldn't order them again. The Sausage puff pastry made up for the wings. It was perfectly seasoned, flavorful and excellent. For the mains we ordered the Chicken Balsamico and a Mushroom Swiss Burger. The Chicken Balsamico was really very good. Chicken breast with hot peppers in a balsamic reduction served with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The Mushroom Swiss burger was just mediocre. We ordered it medium well. It was served medium rare. And even though the meat was rare it was dry and didn't hold together very well. The fries served with the burger were top notch. For desert we split a slice of key lime pie which was pretty good. It had a perfect crust but the key lime filling was a bit dense. Overall we had a nice experience at One11. A bit uneven, but I recommend the place and would definitely dine there again the next time we are in the area. read more

We have enjoyed our meals at the bar where the bartenders are informative, friendly, & make great drinks! Tequenos are unique & a must have have - the dipping sauce is so tasty! Came here looking for a new experience. We certainly found it. One11 is a unique concept restaurant. Fusion Latin and modern American. The place is warm and inviting. Very comfortable. The menu is not huge but any foodie will find something good to eat here. Everything here is home made and fresh and you can tell. You can also tell that this food is made by a chef, not a cook. We sampled multiple appies..Shrimp Ajillo. Not just shrimp in oil and garlic but with some thoughtful and delicious spices as well- outstanding. Home made veggie soup was very good. We shared a Caesar Salad that had a wonderful homemade dressing. Bright fresh and clean. It was not overdressed but super flavorful. We ended our meal with Sweet Siracha Tequenos. These were sooo good Perfect sweet and savory dipping sauce. Good to either start your meal or end it. Very unique and different. Love seeing these places in Dover. Great food at good prices. Rolled up on the new 'Hot Spot' party bar in town at ONE11 for Happy Hour and was very impressed with all the renovations and improvements that new ownership has made. It's really cool to see the transformation from a dive bar to an excellent establishment which I have no doubt that I'll be a regular customer at.    First time here I ordered a couple of Beers and some Latin inspired Buffalo Wings at the Bar. The Wings were Tremendously Tasty and my Bartender who's name is Shaz was on point with everything I needed. In fact after I explained that I used to be a regular here when it was Murray's she was glad to give me the grand tour including their new upgraded kitchen, brand new point of sale system, TVs everywhere you look, killer sound system, huge outdoor seating area, and very cool interior dining areas.    It was great catching up with some locals that I haven't seen in forever and we had a blast remembering some of the shenanigans that once took place over here. We took my sister out to this restaurant for her 77th birthday. She lives fairly close to this restaurant and has been there many times herself. So this is where she wanted us to take her. Fantastic dinner at One11. The drinks were delicious, the service was GREAT and the food was perfect. We stopped in for my sister's birthday and it did not disappoint! So many great things to say about this place, the music/ambiance was awesome, and they have paintings from a local artist hanging in their dining room (which are for sale). For drinks, we got El Parce, margarita (which comes in a mini Patron bottle), and P*rn Star Martini We got chips and guac for the table (delish) and the fried calamari. For dinner, I got penne pesto with salmon. The pesto was freshly made and def made in-house. All of our dishes were delicious, some of the others that we tried were the Chimichurri Sirloin and ONE11 Penne Vodka. For dessert, I had the creme brulee which was amazing (and so happy there's a local place with creme brulee!!). Our new place! I've been there once, and all of the reviews are correct! The staff was friendly, helpful, kind, and attentive. We had the Porn Star martini (several, they were so good) and the rest of the drink menu looked delicious!. The food menu is packed with flavor. We had the Firecracker calamari. They were so tender and the sauce had peppers and spices, but it was not spicy. We had two specials (they change every weekend). We had a sirloin, steak sandwich with onions, chimichurri, and cheese (AMAZING), and mushroom risotto with grilled shrimp - cheesy and perfectly done. We plan to bring our teens and friends here to see how amazing it is. It is a bit pricy, but great food and the warm atmosphere are worth it! read more

What a great new place for the neighborhood! Renovated old Irish bar into a new trendy craft cocktail bar with amazing food. The biggest thing that stands out is that it's a family business. Mom is in the kitchen and her kids are running everything else so you can tell everyone really cares. I had their special of the evening which was a unique twist of their Chimichurri Sirloin on a sandwich. The combination of crunch from the arugula and bite from the caramelized onions put this sandwich over the top. The Penne Pesto with Salmon was also filling and rich in flavor.
