So happy we stumbled across this place when we were looking for a burger spot. Their churrasco burger absolutely blew our taste buds away. Such a clever twist on a burger. It was absolutely delicious. They also make different homemade lemonade and my husband loved their mango lemonade.

Dry rub wings and bacon jam fries

Service was responsive and awesome. Food was absolutely delicious and I had dry rub wings and the bacon jam fries. My wife had the blackened chicken sandwich. The restaurant was warm and inviting.

Had such a great time here for happy hour. The staff was absolutely excellent and accommodating to us. Drinks were so good - especially the espresso martinis. For food we ordered the firecracker calamari, chips and guacamole, wings and cheeseburgers. Everything was good and satisfied us all. The ambiance here is a chill relaxing vibe but can also be fun and energetic.

Really nice place and service. I've noticed they added an outdoor patio for when it gets warmer out which looks really nice. It was empty when I came in and was greeted with a friendly smile and served quickly. The burger was good (a little more cooked than medium) and lacked a little bit of salt imo but overall a decent burger. Fries were very good and I appreciated having the lemon and lime for my drink. Street parking can be busy depending what time you visit. Will be back to try out other items but a solid choice in the area.

***4 1/2 stars*** I don't think my top tier chum and I would have ended up here if it wasn't for The Iron Claw, a good but incredibly depressing movie playing nearby in Rockaway. As the credits rolled, we looked at each other and said, "We need a cocktail." This was the number one option for cocktails in the area, and my chum was dubious. "It's in...downtown Dover? Are you sure?" It was, and we'll be back. We came here around dinnertime on the Saturday before Christmas; I suspect the downtown area was more crowded than usual as a result. We were able to secure street parking about two blocks away, but then had an adventure crossing the street to get over here - minimal crosswalks, so be prepared. The menu actually instructed patrons to park in a specific parking lot across the street, so that's definitely good to know going forward as I don't have a ton of interest in recreating my own version of Frogger to get a meal/drink. It was bustling inside as well, but we secured seats at the bar towards the back of the establishment. There was a live musical act that seemed to be setting up in the front, so I wasn't unhappy about our location (we're getting old and cranky). That said, I don't even remember hearing them so the acoustics were either very favorable to us or we dodged a bullet - who can say? The bartender was excellent and clearly knew his mixology, both in terms of overall drink quality and presentation. He was attentive throughout our time there and we never had to look around for him for anything. We each had two drinks. I initially went with an item from their specials menu, which I'm pretty sure had coquito in it (and included a fun, dramatic flair where the bartender basically incinerated cinnamon as he sprinkled it on the top; it was very good but after trying my chum's mule, I decided to pivot to that for my second beverage based mostly on palate preference. Very well made with a nice, mule zip to it. Also a plus? He gave us free shots at the end; I really can't remember a bartender doing that after only two drinks, but I'll take that pretty much every time. A classy move in my book. The food was very solid as well. Really my only nitpick (and the reason I can't commit to a full five stars here) is that we ordered tostones with pernil but it showed up with guac instead, making it considerably drier. But we also were distracted by the other food and never bothered to push back on that when it arrived, so that's for sure partially on us. The tequenos were the highlight for me; flavorful, with a great dipping sauce that emphasized the sweeter nature of the dish without being overwhelming. Hard to do, but that item disappeared quickly. We also got the bacon mac and cheese; honestly I don't think it did anything to set itself apart from other above average macs (not a complaint), but I did like how the bacon was broken up/dispersed on top of it. The fact that I seriously considered giving this a perfect rating despite one of the food items not being correct should tell you a lot. This was also a situation that reminded me favorably of a recent visit to pastaRAMEN in Montclair, where the staff clearly enjoyed working there and with each other - we saw a lot of smiles behind the scenes and good-natured laughter, which contributed overall to a positive experience. Frankly, I want to go back at this point just so they can slightly redeem themselves and I can unequivocally declare it a perfect meal. Glad to find a high quality spot like this in the Dover/Rockaway area.

Wow!! Amazing cocktails!

One11 has only been open for about 4 months now, and what a great addition to the Dover food scene it is! After seeing other Yelp friend's reviews, my wife and I stopped in for a late Sunday lunch. The place has been totally renovated and looks awesome. We sat at the bar and the bartender, Jorge, gave us the history of the location, while also explaining the menu and the details of One11. We also met the chef and owner while there. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The cocktail menu alone is inspiring. My wife had a rum punch and I had a Mule. Jorge explained how they make their own dried fruit which goes into the drinks. My Mule wasn't any mule, it was made of Prickly Pear and the sprig in it was lit on fire. Very cool! We ordered a few appetizers, shrimp in garlic sauce, firecracker calamari, and Siracha tequinos. Each dish was better than the last. We even tried a couple of the homemade desserts, the Tres Leches cake and the Quesillo with rum. Outstanding! We even ran into some friends from town while we were there. A really fun time! There's live music Friday and Saturday nights. Plenty of parking in the area. If you're around Dover looking for an excellent casual meal, I definitely recommend giving One11 a try!

Cute space! We sat at the bar and the service was friendly and prompt. Food was good, but I can't believe how expensive things are nowadays! We had fried plantains topped with guacamole and 4 shrimp for $19. I had 4 mushroom raviolis with 3 shrimp for $21. H had penne vodka with chicken for $19. The cocktail, Naked and Famous, was delicious! Pints of beer were $6. The bartender offered us a small sample of the sangria and it was great! Very flavorful and not too sweet. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here!

Stunning service, food, and atmosphere. The firecracker calamari was insanely good, as well as everything else. Highly recommend this spot (and the blueberry margarita)! :) Will certainly be coming back for more.

This restaurant popped up on yelp with 5 * n thought we'd try it as we were in the area. In the heart of Dover near train station. Found parking on the street. Friendly welcoming staff. Walked into bar area w hi tables n chairs n it was a lil noisy. So asked the waiter to seat us in the side dining room n they obliged. So many great items on the menu n was a tough choice. We settled on the mushroom puff w Italian sausage n mozzarella . Was very tasty. Also had the firecracker calamari. It was spicy n delicious. Plenty of calamari .Never had it before. And the Cesar salad was good too. For entrees had the mushroom ravioli . It' had mushrooms n shrimp and a nice spicy sauce. Delicious. And the Penne chicken vodka. That was yummy too. Since we had filled up on the appetizers there was plenty LO's to bring home n Sunday lunch is already checked off. And we topped it off w crème brilee n shared it. Yummy. Tx u for a great dinner. Will be back soon.

The craft cocktails are well made and thoughtful, and if you prefer beer, there are solid options there too. As a bourbon lover, I especially enjoyed their private barrel pick served neat, a real treat and easily a standout pour. This is a perfect pre-dinner or post-evening stop, we have done both, and it works beautifully either way. Dress is slightly casual but leans upscale, and while pricing is a bit higher than average, it feels completely worth it for the setting, quality, and experience. We sank into the chairs, talked story with friends, and lost track of time, which really says it all. If you are anywhere near Skytop Lodge, make sure this is on your list. Since we were big fans of those alcohols, we decided to check it out. The walls of the space were covered in colorful murals with Latin American imagery. There were banquettes along either wall with small tables and ottomans scattered in front of them, providing separate, little areas for each group. Large playing cards were fanned across each table with Jack, Queen, King, and Ace cards each having a menu on its backside. There were bar bites, a spirits list, classic cocktails that could be reimaged with your agave spirit of choice (picture a tequila mojito), and even a custom beverages. The creative drinks were not cheap, coming in at around $20 on average, but they certainly were complex! My La Balacara featured Casamigos Mezcal, spiced pear, Luxardo, orange, ginger, chestnut honey, and a chili tincture. I thought the drink sounded outrageous, but, sadly, all I tasted was that honey, the ingredient of which I was least interested. In fact, the smokiness of the mezcal really did not play well with the chestnut honey, leaving it to taste sort of like licorice. I was not a fan. My companion's El Encanto included Casamigos Cristalino, Lillet Blanc, strawberry-lemongrass cordial, guava, and basil, which sounded herbaceous, but really just tasted like a fancy daiquiri. He enjoyed it, but I found it unimpressive. Our drinks were accompanied by a complementary bowl of spiced popcorn, which was delicious. We had come from an earlier dinner, so the snack was as much as I needed. However, the few larger food items that I saw others order all looked great. While I would go back to Perico to try some other items, I felt like I had had better, more affordable cocktails upstairs at Panela.

Well, now. Finding truly authentic Venezuelan cuisine wasn't on my 2026 bingo card (as the cool…read morekids say), but I'm definitely stamping this square. Dios mio, what a meal! There was not a bad bite to be had. We might've cut the roofs of our mouths with the crisped-to-perfection Patacón, but I don't care--I think all sandwiches should be encased in fried plantain instead of bread. And the succulent pernil filling? Dios mio otra vez! Though, tbf, when is pernil ever a bad choice? Then there was the stuffed-to-the-brim Cachapa filled with carne mechada and Venezuelan cheese. It was enormous. Like, Jesus pulling from the neverending fish basket enormous. It never ended. We had to take it home. But before we did, I practically ate all of the arepa, which was the sweetest, bursting-with-corn-flavor arepa I've ever had outside of South America. It was so good, I practically cried with every bite. Tears of corny joy, mind you. We got an entree of grilled fish (Filete de Pescado a la Plancha), which came with a complimentary side--in our case, arroz amarillo cuz I gotta have my grains. The fish was perfectly crispy on the outside, meltingly tender on the inside. As with everything else, it was also way bigger than it had any right to be. Finally, we ended with what we THOUGHT would be a small item--the Arepa Arcoiris Llanero--but we were mistaken. It was stuffed so full of fresh avocado, shredded chicken, and various veggies that it had to be further encased in a paper wrapper for fear of the arepa wrap giving up on its job. We didn't make it more than a few bites before having to regretfully pack it home, but those few bites were chef's kiss. Venezuela has long been on my bucket list (who doesn't want to see Mount Roraima or Angel Falls?), but until I can get there, I'll be more than happy to "settle" for coming to this beautifully modern paradise of culinary delights. Throw in the huge portions and unbelievably low prices, and it's kind of a no-brainer to make the trip.

The service wasn't too bad, my cup ran empty every now and then but wasn't egregious. Let's talk presentation, the way drinks and food come out is clearly something the head of Maracaibo wanted to place extra detail on. Though the extra presentation is a bit gimmicky, it still got the job done for the most part. The sampler came in a giant Ferris wheel contraption. Not pictured, but my cocktail came with floating cotton candy. Nevertheless, the food was still incredible. The sampler is a must, not only for the presentation, but for the delicious eats that can push you out of your comfort zone. For first time Venezuelan eaters the amount of ways plantain could be prepped and served may be jarring, but I would encourage bravery and just try everything and anything you can on the sampler. Each bite was worth it! Let's talk main entrees, you won't be disappointed by the portions. If you enjoy plantain, definitely go for the patacon - if not, I'd suggest holding off as you may get your fill of it elsewhere. The skirt steak (churrasco) was cooked to my liking, went well in my patacon sandwich. It is massive, I couldn't eat it all - had to take some back. Onto the arepa bowl. Though the contents of the bowl instead could be something you may get elsewhere (like Chipotle for example), it's the addition of the arepa bowl blended with the flavors of everything else and the sauces they drizzle on top that completes this dish. It's unique and it screams for you to taste and pay attention. Overall - great foods, great ambiance, great people. Bit gimmicky but it is what it is.
