Fresh food takes time, the wait was worth it. The vibe was very welcoming we walked in and ordered the lemonade and iced tea lemonade were great. The honey chicken biscuit i would rate it a 7/10 just because it needed some more emphasis on flavor on seasoning but other that the biscuit was the perfect softness. My family was craving chicken and fries but try to avoid seed oils so we stumbled upon tonydoms and were happy to have found this spot. With all chicken halal and everything fried in beef tallow, the quality of the meat was delicious. The chicken is fried perfectly with a perfect crunch on the outside and juicy inside. The biscuits are also super delicious. I wish they had seed oil free sauces but overall a great spot with great food! I tried Tonydoms about a year ago. Wanted to love it. I love fried chicken. It's less than a mile from my house. Thought I would gain a million pounds. At that time I thought the chicken was fried too long. Breading was very dark. Did not return. Now a year later. Stopped in again. Two piece dark and a biscuit. Once again very dark. Should have taken a picture. Have to admit though. I liked it. It didn't taste over cooked. Is the dark color a thing? Not golden brown? Biscuit was good too. I think Popeyes is better. Is that harsh? No Popeyes makes great fried chicken. It's really, really cute inside. read more

Enjoyable fast food! We ordered our lunch on the touch screens. Food came out hot and delicious! It was lunch time and the all boys High School were out early so there was a line! I Guess Chicken tenders on a bun or biscuit just tastes so much better than a chicken patty. The Buffalo sauce was tangy but not hot spice wise. Everything had a lot of flavor and very enjoyable. French fries are a generous portion and size. Fries come in a paper bag. As for service, they have Very Friendly staff and Am dance well, there is a small area with a shelf/counter area & about 8 chairs, to eat if you need to dine in. Highly recommend. read more

Close to home and delicious. Small independent chicken joint that is definitely worth a visit. I had the classic chicken sandwich on a bun and thought it was cooked perfectly. Juicy and crispy with nice seasoning. My Daughter got the chicken honey biscuits which she devoured but it's a biscuit so less filling. Next time fries. My Wife had the Nashville hot tenders which she loved. We also had a side of max and cheese which they weren't fans of. I don't eat that so can't say why. I'd come back here again without doubt. A rare find. Casual takeout with fresh and simple preparation, premium ingredients, focus on quality. There aren't many restaurants that optimize like this in this part of New Jersey. They don't depend on gimmicks. It's just basic food made extremely well. Go if you like fried chicken. But also go if you like to eat food made to its purest perfection. I never heard of this place until today when it came up on door dash and the photos sold me as the fried chicken looked legit I opted for the tenders and they didn't let me down one bit. Very hearty portions of meat with a nice fried coating. Tasty and tender with a biscuit to accompany them. The fries were a little soggy but im sure better if you go there and i don't live that close to summit so not their fault We ordered a chicken sandwich and a chicken Caesar salad that looked amazing also with a ton of chicken in it. Overall great first experience. I would love to try the fried chicken but i am also a white meat person and it seems like they just had drumssticks and thighs. Looks great though and i definitely recommend this spot read more

Chicken fried in Beef Tallow is a whole different game. This might be the best chicken sandwich I've had in Jersey so far. There's plenty of chicken options from wings , drums and thighs to chicken tenders and sandwiches on brioche buns or buttery fresh biscuits. Buffalo ranch sandwich was awesome with crispy juicy tenders and a spicy Buffalo and tangy ranch sauce. Chicken biscuit had same crispy juicy tenders with the ranch and pickles on a fresh biscuit and I could not put either one down. Sides of fresh cheesy Mac and crispy French fries also fried in the beef tallow give a whole new flavor to everything. Fresh crunchy coleslaw as well. It was so good I had to get a box of tenders to go. Small place inside a few stools by the window. Seems most business is to go orders. This is must try chicken. read more

Ordered takeout and got a little bit of everything for the family. Chicken bucket, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, tenders , and fries. Everything was cooked to perfection, crispy and juicy. This place is located right outside of my job and it is so good. I ordered the Honey Chicken Biscuit and fries with honey mustard. The biscuit was incredible! Very flavorful and not dry at all. The sandwich is a little small but so good. You'll definitely wind up ordering more than one. They have a bunch of different things to choose from on their menu such as chicken fingers, chicken wraps , and more. I definitely look forward to coming back and trying something new. read more

The coleslaw had the zing of horseradish. I will say that about it. My fried chicken sandwich was OK. Nothing particularly distinguished it. I had the chicken biscuit. It was OK. I was looking for the angels to sing, so perhaps I set my standards too high based upon their advertisement. the true test is going to be their actual fried chicken, bone in. I will head back there and give them a second chance and be more than happy to revise my estimate upward. They are efficient, pleasant, clean, and in a convenient location. I am pulling for them. Seasoning is everything! Chicken and tenders were fried nicely, but tasted bland, no seasoning at all. The same with the biscuits and mac and cheese. Good for someone on a bland diet. The coleslaw was the only item seasoned with a lot of pepper and watery mayo. First and last time. No bueno! read more

I found a fried chicken place in town and was excited. Fresh chicken close to home and not KFC. The first time I tried it, I chose not to review it because I wanted to be sure. My 2nd time was today. As much as I wanted to like this place, I'm disappointed. The fries did not seem fresh. Soggy with a lot of burnt ones. Not sure if I got the bottom of a batch that was made earlier and was reheated or what, but not good. Now for the chicken....... I can't pinpoint it other than describing it as a"burnt" or " old oil" taste to the chicken. The taste is subtle, but when you cook and have cooked your share of chicken as well as having it from other places, you can tell. It was cooked through and juicy, but it lacked depth of flavor and seasoning. Not sure how long they have been there, but I don't know if I plan to make a third trip. I recommend either changing the oil altogether or changing the cooking temperature. Brine the chicken prior to cooking to add a deeper flavor right down to the bone. For those of you reading this that have had chicken made that way, know what I mean. The fries seem to be cut fresh, so they should be cooked fresh to order. I ordered online and had to wait. I do not mind waiting a little longer for fresh cut fries to order......Just a little "constructive" criticism, no hard feelings. read more

There is somewhat of a revolving door of restaurants operating out off his location. This time it is a perfectly passable fried chicken joint making chicken tenders, wings, and sandwiches. The interior is clean, albeit without much seating, but the main draw back is that there is only one person operating the front desk resulting in a bit of a bottleneck as they have to pack everyone's food, and take new orders, and fulfill mobile orders. read more

Stopped by since I had a fried chicken craving. Got a bucket of chicken, Mac and cheese, briskets, and cookies. Really good tasty chicken not greasy. Made with bread crumbs and not a batter more like home made. Nice size legs and thighs with good chicken flavor. A big cut above KFC. Placed a order on line was ready and hot when I got there. The place is fairly close to my job so my coworker and I decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. Let's start with the positive being the service, I called to try to order on the phone and the person answering was very nice and welcoming, same as when I went in to pick up the order. Outside of that what a huge mistake and disappointment in this place. The chicken seemed to only be seasoned with salt & the Mac & cheese tremendously lacked flavor and was far from an authentic baked Mac & cheese .
