I was really looking forward to my Angel's Apple Salad from Master Pizza. The ingredients sounded wonderful -- fresh spinach with Granny Smith apples, cranberries, red onions, avocados, walnuts, sliced carrots, feta, and a side of balsamic dressing. When it arrived, it looked beautiful and very fresh. Unfortunately, before I even started eating, I found a hair wrapped around one of the apple slices. The good thing about this restaurant is that they are true to their word- they told us the pizza would be ready in 15 minutes when we made a pick up order and it was ready to be picked up less than that! My daughter recommended Master Pizza . She said it is just like New York pizza which we love. I tried it and she was correct. I am not a fan of this restaurant's pizza. I find the sauce to be bland. No amount of oregano nor pepper flakes awakens the slice. Just recently a neighbor and good friend ordered about 6 pies due to their usual spot was not open and all noted 'this pizza is not from the usual place cause it's bland. What Master Pizza does well is offer an array of toppings and staff is friendly. Nice assortment of drinks and chips. Parking can be a chore and one can find parking on side streets since there is no parking lot. Prices are on par with competitor. Will I purchase from here? Mostly overpriced but it's worth par for the course in the area. Got bbq wings and garlic bread with cheese last night and the wings were overly fatty and not as crispy as you'd hope, but still decent. Do not waste your money on this "garlic bread". It was one piece of bread cut in half with one piece of cheese on one side and some brown wet garlic substance on top of it. We went here last night for the first time. They gave us the 15% first time Yelp discount. We ordered at the counter for dine in service. We were served by Gary who could not have been kinder or more professional. He is definitely an asset to this business . There is another colleague of his who is also very kind and polite, but we didn't get his name. Although we ordered our food for dine in, they brought it to our table wrapped to go. The restaurant is clean, but the person who sat at our table before us had left of mess of red pepper flakes, which I easily cleaned up myself. This is the first place that I have ever seen Italian hot dog pizza. My husband ordered two slices and he really liked them. I got the 14 inch eggplant Parmesan sandwich and we got an order of garlic parmesan wings. The wings could have been a little crunchier, but that is merely personal preference. The wings and eggplant parmesan sandwich both had good flavor. My personal preference is bread that has a crunchy crust, and their bread is soft, but once again, that is completely a matter of preference The 4 stars are because we got our order wrapped to go, when it should have been dine in & because they charge a 4% credit card transaction fee. I do not support that I did ask if they were hurrying us out and they said that they were not. We did not get that impression until we were getting ready to go and then they started cleaning everything up for the night, but at that time, it was about 15 minutes before they were getting ready to close, so totally understandable. I called them at 11 am when they open, got some great suggestions from the person who took my order and it was delivered exactly on time. I ordered the Master Pizza Special Sicilian style, Vodka Rigatoni, Vegetarian and Margherita plus a half tray of salad and various drinks. I had low expectations when I ordered pizza from Master Pizza last night. I was so surprised, not only did the pizza beat my expectations , I ate the whole thing!, I expected to have half to eat later today but, no, I had to be greedy and finish the whole thing! I ordered a Margherita Classico with pepperoni. Mmmm! The mix of textures, the crunch of the crust...excellent. And...it arrived hot! It has been years since I have had a pizza delivered due to disappointments but I was craving a pizza last night and I am glad I took the plunge. I will definitely order from here again. I should add, I tried ordering online and simply had no luck with their server. I finally called in and the person who answered the phone acknowledged something was wrong with online ordering.
