Love their 2 pizzas for the price of 1 on Tuesdays - very affordable. Service is quick - the pizzas come out extraordinary fast! On Tuesdays this summer, they had a live DJ outside which was tons of fun. Outdoor seating has been really lovely this season. The pizza is definitely more artisan and not traditional NYC style pizza, but is still extremely tasty with a thin crust that is a bit charred from the brick oven. We have ordered take out from here a few times. Finally we were able to eat dinner here, outside. The staff is very friendly. For the outdoor dining, you use the QR code to order and pay on your phone and then they bring the food out to you. We did have to wait quite a bit for water. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower - delicious, spicy! We also ordered the eggplant meatballs - delicious, my favorite! For the first time we ordered the veggie Jackson pizza - kale, eggplant, mushrooms, caramelized onions, fresh homemade mozzarella, truffle oil - did not like it, wouldn't order it again. It was dry and underdelivered on flavor. Will be back - I love the eggplant meatballs and buffalo cauliflower! This place had a really cute ambiance while we were walking by! Outdoor seating and lights with a man playing some acoustic guitar tunes, made the for the perfect atmosphere on a warm fall night. It took us a while to get seated, they seemed pretty busy but the food was really good! Mushroom truffle pizza I got (fungi?) had amazing flavors and the dough tasted fresh! It was a little soggy in the middle areas- thin crust with the weight of the toppings did not fare well but we still gobbled that down very quickly and it was delicious! Fresh mozzarella added a very nice touch as well as the truffle oil. The cauliflower gnocchi was the definition of comfort food! Soft and pillowy gnocchis with a light balsamic type sauce on it. I enjoyed an early dinner with my daughter and son-in-law last night which was very good. Ordering was quick and easy using their app and the food came out hot and fast. We enjoyed a Grandma and a Bee Sting pizza and 2 salads. We all agree that the Bee Sting could have used more hot honey, but that said both pies were very tasty. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the interior was open, bright, and clean. We'll be back to try more varieties. read more

Stopped by for dinner since we were passing through and I was in the mood for pizza we figured we try a new place out. After looking over the menu we went with a Drunken Pizza- Vodka sauce, ricotta, fresh mozzarella, and basil and a Fun Guy- Mushrooms, Bufala mozzarella, and truffle oil $14 each. We shared the pizzas and they were both very good. I would have just preferred the crust to be a little more crisp. But I really enjoyed the flavor of the vodka sauce and the mushrooms with the truffle oil were a great combination. Even though they are meant to be single serving pizzas we still brought home 5 slices which were still quite tasty heated in the toaster oven. We have eaten here a few times, both in person and for takeout. We love the spicy cauliflower appetizer and the eggplant meatball appetizer. Their salads are also good. The pizza wasn't our favorite however when we had it. The flavors just seemed a bit lackluster when we tried it. Maybe we caught them on an off day as we always see people walking out with pizza takeout orders when we go by there, so it is pretty popular. There are a lot of other pizza places nearby that we like more, but I would give it another shot. read more

A more modern place in summit with a clean feel. When we came in late (around 8pm) there was no one else around but the waiter still seated us promptly. The pizza was definitely fresh made as we saw them toss the dough in the back right after the order. The crust was quite crisp though it was very thin in the middle and much thicker at the edges. The vodka sauce of the drunken pizza was an amazing touch. I the grandma pizza was alright but the meatball was not the best I've ever had. However, the service was mediocre as she did not come back to fill my water once that night. Also, my one personal pizza ended up adding up to around $20 which is a bit more than I had expected. read more

I gave them several chances, but these were my last 3 experiences: 1) Refused to sit me on a Friday at 7:35pm (close time is 8pm). 2) Didn't honor an offer they had on their own online ordering platform (2 pizzas for price of 1 - made us pay for the second pie when we got there to pick up) 3) Messed up the order and argued with me about it All 3 times staff was rude. By the way, I used to love this place and was a weekly loyal customer. They used to have good food and great service. Came here on a Saturday since I was craving pizza. The pizza here is delicious! The crust is light and fluffy and flavorful. I added a balsamic drizzle to my pizza and wow that was a game changer ! When I walked in at 9:05PM I was told the kitchen was closed, despite there being customers sitting down waiting their food to come. False advertising on their end. Great pizza! Third time coming here. Decided to order some pizzas to pick up for Two-For-Tuesday tonight (Buy 2 pizzas for the price of one). We ordered the Broccoli Rabe pizza and a Drunken Grandma pizza. Came to pick it up since they don't deliver, and they were packed as usual! Brought the pizza home and it was delicious! They forgot to cut the broccoli rabe pizza but it was still really good. The center of the pizzas were definitely a little softer and not as crispy as the outsides, but that seems to be typical of their pizza. Cute inside also, and it's byob which is always great. I love this place! Pizza is thin-crust, baked in a super-hot brick oven, so it has a delicate crunch. Toppings are so creative, fresh and tasty, never heavy with grease. Names are clever, too: e.g. "Drunken Grandma" is meatball with vodka sauce, "Fun Guy" is mushroom (fungi, get it?). Specials vary by season, and are always interesting combinations that are worth a try. We cry every year when fresh corn is gone, and with it our favorite "Maize" pizza. Appetizers: A must! "Balsamico" is the only calamari I will eat any more--cannot be beat! Grilled vegetables--mmm! Sharing plate--yes, we will! I love to see what new salads they'll come up with, based on what's in season. I go to pizza vita because it is the closest Iv had to a legit Italian styled pizza from Napoli. looking at some of the passed reviews I see people commenting on being too soggy, pizza vita may have a bit more sog in the center then Napoli pizza but it's really not that far off and I guess it just boils down to personal preference on how you like your pizza made. The ingredients are from the motherland, Italy (at least the oils and cheeses). The 3 most important qualities in a restaurant were exceeded! Service, A +. Food, A++ and Price, A. It's Summit so the prices are on par with the area. The food, holy wow it was outstanding. Started with the cold anitpasto which had an assortment of cheese and meats...the mozz with ricotta inside was moutwatering awesome! The meats, cheeses, olives, artichokes...yummy! Had their 4 cheese pizza which was the best I have had in Jersey. On par with Frank Pepe's in CT. The 4 different cheeses went so well together. Their dough was superb. Doughy crust, thin pizza. Pie's are 9" and they do not sell by the slice. This is not a pizzeria, it's a classy brick oven restaurant. :-) Service was attentive, quick and friendly. I had the same waitress at HB's and she was excellent once again. I recommend going here even if you need to go out of your way. It's a BYOB which saves you a bunch of cash. Four of 'em, raw dough still visible on the sides of every crust, unpleasantly soft, slimy and limp in the middle despite some notable char on the bottom, ouch. My teenager said it was like eating a donut. :( I think the pizzaiolo who was working the oven the evening of Tues, 5 August needs a WHOLE LOT more training. So it was Not A-OK, it was meh in the end, argh. Unbelievable that a wood-fired oven turned out these mushy pizzas, because buffalo mozzarella cheese this creamy, pepperoni this thin and yummy, meatball slices this juicy, cherry tomatoes this ripe, mushrooms this flavorful -- in short, toppings this fine deserve 5-star pizza crust. The meat toppings truly are outstanding, none of those standard round pepperoni slices, these look sliced in house and were extraordinarily tasty. Service? Friendly and working hard, A-OK. Oh except when we asked why the pizzas weren't quite done in the middle she sorta said "oh yeah..." Noise level? Somewhere between loud and intolerable, speak up sonny I can't hear you. Prices? About $15 for a personal pie, that's a little spendy but for a properly baked pie, well it's Summit, nobody cares about money. For an underdone pie that price is criminal. Vegetarian rating: 4 stars because of the many veg pie and pasta choices, you can do very well here. I walked in and was immediately met with one too many religious relics. I mean not only was their a giant cross next to the front door, there was a Jesus fish ON the cross....awkward. My friend was raving about this pizza, and said they were really quick so we went to grab a bite on a Monday and there was about 10 other people in the restaurant- so not dead. What was disappointing is that the middle of the pie was soggy. Towards the crust was nice and crispy and the crust was doughy but cooked at the same time. But a soggy middle, and liquid under my pizza is unacceptable in a place that has Pizza in their name. The pleasant surprise was the speck of prosciutto on top. I was disappointed with the price. Most pies were $15+ and fairly small pies. I just kept thinking I could go to Arturos and get a better pizza for less, but it is what it is. You live, you learn. read more
