I'm a stickler for plain & pepperoni slices - but you can't go wrong w any style slice/pie! For the pepperoni slices/pie that add the PERFECT AMOUNT of pepperoni- and you can ask for very little crust or a lot! I wanted to bring pizza over to my friends place near summit and I found this pizza spot randomly on google and then cross checked with Yelp and the pics and reviews convinced me to order from them. There was a lot of comments about there Buffalo chicken slice so I ordered a pie of the for pick up. The Large Buffalo Wing Pizza pie ($30.09 tax inc) looked good and tasted even better. There were literally big pieces of chicken cutlet (not wings) pieces drenched in blue cheese and Buffalo sauce with good ratio with the pizza dough. It was amazing. My friend and I could not finish it so I sadly left the rest of the pie at his place.. he told me it tasted even better the next day. I highly recommend this place if you're in the mood for Buffalo chicken slice. For years I put up with the rude delivery exchanges. Pizza was fine. Most times I'd pick up myself. I live three blocks away. Sometimes I'd order delivery. You work the hours I do, you would too. I didn't often order from there but when I did, always the same nonsense. They gave you the clear impression you weren't worth their time. Off and on hold. Yelling at you like Frank Rizzo. "Huh? What?" Screaming things to others on the side like "$30 order? We deliver for THAT?" Berating you with "that's it?" if an undeserved tip wasn't to up to their high pizza joint fiscal standards. It was always variations on the same in your face theme: YOU WANT A DELIVERY!!? WHAT AM I? A DAMN STORK!!?" That was never expressly said but they may as well have said that. There was never any doubt: your call was low priority and so were you. But the last time that broke my camel's back with putting up with a few minutes' abuse was this: It was yet another moronic ordeal in negotiating the rapids of aggression and unpleasantness then...waiting. Three blocks away. Waiting. An hour and a half. I finally get it and I open the box and waves of nausea wash over me: just about everything I hate: peppers and onions and Lord knows what. Wrong pie. I call and it's obvious I'm not happy and IMMEDIATELY they snap into how they handle every call: they interrupt and bark "Hold!" and put me on hold. You think we care!!? Five minutes pass. Waiting. That was it. I jump in my car tossing the stench box in my trunk to deflect the funk. I pull up outside and I go in. Demand my money back. They could care less. Almost can't be bothered to run the credit back onto the card. No apologies. No concerns. Once again I've inconvenienced them. I walked out and never went back. Walk by time to but never look in much less go in. There's other zero places I've ever received consistent abuse during ordering. I have no idea what their complexes or issues are. Try going to Serra and learn some manners. Right around the corner is the friendliest NORMAL coffee shop. This Trattoria nonsense went on for years which was my fault thinking the place would have turnover and they'd get normal phone guys. Nope. Don't order from this place. I even saw this happening to other hapless customers phone ordering when I'd pick up. If you don't like your job, find another. People patronize businesses primarily for how they're treated. read more

I ordered a slice and a soda and it was quickly heated for me. Let me tell you this pizza did not disappoint it was delicious! The crust was crispy and substantial enough to hold all of the large tasty pieces of the Buffalo chicken... it had just the right blend of toppings to make it perfect. The employees were very nice and friendly chatting with the regular customers who stopped by for lunch and I can see why they are so highly rated. Mediocre food and hidden fees sums up this small cluttered pizza shop. Pizza is average. There is much better pizza in elsewhere in Summit and Millburn. In addition to pizza, we ordered the baked shells and it was no better than heating up frozen baked shells from the grocery freezer aisle. The sauce had an overly strong rosemary aftertaste. The salad that came with the two dinners we ordered was comically small. It was a waste that they used two food containers. For the salads. They could have put both salads in the same container with room to spare. The worst part was when I paid the bill. They added a credit card fee without stating there would be an additional charge for using a credit card. When asked why they didn't mention the fee because I could have paid with cash, the snarky worker replied, "That is not how we do it here." I am not sure what that meant. Perhaps, he meant that the restaurant doesn't operate with ethics. I'm not sure. Bottom line: Go if must, but there is much better pizza and Italian fare elsewhere in Summit. read more

My absolute favorite place to get a slice or a delicious traditional Italian dish. The penne allá vodka is my absolute favorite, and you get an amazing portion for an extremely affordable price. Definitely a place where you will never leave hungry. The service staff is super kind and they have turned into a second family for me. The first two things you'll notice walking into this place when it's busy are the wide array of specialty pizza slices and the slight chaos in ordering those slices. People are yelling and talking over each other to place their orders. Honestly, I was completely overwhelmed by both of these things in the two times I've eaten here. I was immediately impressed by the wide variety of pizza slices offered. I usually like to get specialty slices, especially with their variety of specialty pizza, but I was the most impressed by the plain slice. My only complaint is that sometimes the slices seem to have too much bread, which I found most apparent in the vodka Sicilian slice I ordered. I know Sicilian slices are meant to be more "bready" than a regular thin slice, but I thought it was more than usual and a little overbearing.
