    Western omelet with home fries
    Vanessa H.

Simple neighborhood diner with good food at decent prices. My family and I had the western omlete with home fries, garden omlete with toast, and a BLT all for under $30! The home fries are more like breakfast potatoes so they may be different than what people typically expect but they are amazing! They came nice and crispy with peppers and onions included. The garden omlete was packet with veggies and exactly what you'd expect. The BLT was spot on with crispy and flavorful bacon. Please note: This is a diner and not a coffee shop as stated in the name. If you're looking for a cafe, fancy lattes, macchiatos, etc then you'll want to look elsewhere. Come here for standard diner flare. To sum it up- the food was great and the staff was nice so we'll be back!

A one egg $12 avo blt that's missing the lettuce and tomato

Ordered a $7 avocado blt on a roll and asked for turkey bacon instead of pork bacon. When the total came to $12 and change I kindly asked the woman how much the added turkey bacon was. She looked at me with a straight face and said $5. A bit taken back, I just said okay and paid thinking I'd have to take it on the chin and steer clear moving forward. 5 minutes later I find that my now $12 breakfast sandwich had one egg a quarter of an avocado and was missing more than half of what makes a blt a B-L-T. More bread than sandwich made this highway robbery on the side of the parkway. Wouldn't recommend

We settled on splitting one savory and one sweet brunch dish We ordered ginger-lemograss tea and coffee ahead of the tres leches pancakes and the short rib juevos rancheros. The dishes came out quickly and beautifully presented. The egg was perfectly fluffy and complimented the melty delicious short rib. It's one of those dishes that gets even more delicious as you eat it. The meal was perfectly balanced, made with fresh, high quality ingredients. The chef was back there doin his thing! The pancakes were fluffy came topped with blueberries and strawberries, and a generous carafe of dulce de leche. I was worried that it might be a little sweet, but again this dish was perfectly balanced and flavorful. We will definitely make a trip back for brunch in the near future.

Place is welcoming and had nice natural lighting. We got their Huevos Rancheros, roasted chicken, tuna chaufa and lomo saltado. everything was great - good portions and beautiful flavors! Especially loved their Earl Grey latte too. the flavors of tea and espresso were very well balanced I would love to get that drink again. Also got their smores cookie for a nice sweet ending. We ended up chatting away even after we dined. Staff was very polite reminding us they needed the spot and was also kind enough to give us a some time even before the reminder. Would definitely recommend this place!

Located in Montclair, this small breakfast and lunch spot is a local favorite. The service was really good, they were very attentive to our large group and my toddler. They had some books for him. I had the huevas rancheros, which is only available Fri-Sun. It had 2 eggs that came on 2 fried tortillas and a side of potatoes and avocado slices. It was delicious, very flavourful and satisfying. The sourness of the seasoning went really well with the plain bean and tortilla taste and complimented the eggs well. Everyone at the table was satisfied with their meal. My son had the oatmeal, he loved it and he's not an oatmeal lover usually!

You have to try the Dominican drink called morir sonando. It's made with orange juice, milk, cane sugar, and chopped ice. You can order it with OJ or fresh passion fruit juice; either or is good. I also tried the Caribbean style oatmeal with caramelized bananas on top. SOOOOOOO good. And a vegetable quesadilla with fries. My friend ordered mangu con los tres golpes (mashed plantains, fried cheese, fried salami, and & sauteed onions) and a loaded chitvito uruguayo sandwich (steak, ham, bacon, mozzarella, egg , lettuce, tomato & mayo on an onions roll). The service was quick and attentive plus the space is small and cozy. 10/10 recommend for breakfast and lunch!

There's free street parking right up front. I've been here twice and both visits were positive experiences. The cafe is small, but cozy. The greenery and natural lighting make it a welcoming space to meet up with a friend over coffee and pastries or to study. There's a few tables, a couch, and stool seating facing the window. There's also free wifi and outlets. The tables are on the smaller side and the cafe isn't that big, so it's probably not best for large groups. Their menu is simple and a bit limited. Honestly... I prefer it that way! They have your core espresso drinks and a few paninis and croissant sandwiches. They bake their own pastries fresh on the premises. I recommend trying their cookies - they are huge, soft, and chewy! They also specialize in custom cakes for special occasions. Everything is reasonably priced. Baristas are sweet and efficient. They make some tasty iced lattes! The espresso is strong, but not too bitter. It has just the right balance of coffee and milk. I recently tried the Ham Solo sandwich ($10) which included scrambled egg, ham, cheddar, and avocado on a croissant with a side of chips. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. The egg was dry and the ham and cheese tasted like those cheap, pre-sliced ones from grocery stores. If I lived closer, I could see myself stopping by more often. Check them out if you're in the area!

When we first arrived, we saw there was a line out the door. Luckily we had made a reservation. We still had to wait about 15 minutes but they had a small seating area which we used. The place was pretty and had an interesting design to it. We were seated at the back on a bigger table which they divided into half for another family. The worker there mentioned they could move us to another table once there was an availability but this was no issue for us so we stayed where we were. We got the BLT sandwich with sauteed onions, micki mouse shaped waffle, birria tacos and shashuska. We also got the chicken and steak empanadas and also strawberry mint lemonade and mint lemonade. The food was good. The Shashuska and Birria Tacos were tasty. The birria tacos however were VERY oily...the oil was dripping out! The BLT was ok - nothing special but nothing bad but the fries it came with seemed to not have been seasoned evenly (some were very salty and others lacked salt). Waffle was good - normal. We also had gotten the chicken and steak empanadas. The chicken empanadas were tasty and better than the steak one. The sauce the chicken empanadas came with was limey and tasty. The steak one was salty according to my friend. What we all loved the most were our drinks. We had gotten the freshly squeezed strawberry mint lemonade and the mint lemonade and wow - it was so tasty and refreshing left me wanting more! Overall, place was nice, and food was good.
