Simple neighborhood diner with good food at decent prices. My family and I had the western omlete with home fries, garden omlete with toast, and a BLT all for under $30! The home fries are more like breakfast potatoes so they may be different than what people typically expect but they are amazing! They came nice and crispy with peppers and onions included. The garden omlete was packet with veggies and exactly what you'd expect. The BLT was spot on with crispy and flavorful bacon. Please note: This is a diner and not a coffee shop as stated in the name. If you're looking for a cafe, fancy lattes, macchiatos, etc then you'll want to look elsewhere. Come here for standard diner flare. Ordered a $7 avocado blt on a roll and asked for turkey bacon instead of pork bacon. When the total came to $12 and change I kindly asked the woman how much the added turkey bacon was. She looked at me with a straight face and said $5. A bit taken back, I just said okay and paid thinking I'd have to take it on the chin and steer clear moving forward. 5 minutes later I find that my now $12 breakfast sandwich had one egg a quarter of an avocado and was missing more than half of what makes a blt a B-L-T. Can't believe it took me and my fiancé 2 years of living in Bloomfield to finally check out this local breakfast spot! Came here yesterday and it totally hit the spot. It's what you'd expect as far as a jersey diner menu goes except it's such a nice, small, family run spot so you can just tell that the food has that homemade feel to it versus going to a big diner. The coffee was great, my Taylor Ham egg and cheese (on a croissant) was perfectly done and it was all super affordable! The egg on my sandwich was done just right (over easy) and the amount of Taylor ham on it was generous. I ate it all way before I could even think to take a picture. I've also gotta say that the home fries were awesome--seasoned really well and crispy! We'll definitely be coming back here and and I'd pick this over a big, crowded diner any day. read more

A neighborhood café on the corner. The food is always done to order. Service and atmosphere are personal and friendly. Parking in the rear is often open. Customers often know each other and new comers are clearly well received and quickly become part of conversations. Keeping to ones self is not frowned upon either. Come in for the breakfast special - 4.95 for a breakfast sandwich and a cup o' Joe or tea. The bacon is salty, the food is hot (a tad greasy but guess what...merica!). It's a basic coffee shop. They do simple breakfast foods, basic sandwiches, etc. What makes them special is two things. 1. The servers are very personable and friendly. It doesn't hurt that there are only a handful of tables. They took the time to introduce themselves--even the chef. For that personal touch alone, I'll return. 2. The chef takes pride in his Lebanese offerings. If you're adventurous--or just like Lebanese food, there are not many a local establishment offering this cuisine. In addition, it seemed like a true local place. One of the patrons who also introduced himself was the former mayor. I was very happy with my egg sandwich. The bagel was fresh and tasty. Even the coffee was better than most of the local diners. Egg sandwich on a bagel, fruit cup and coffee for about $10. Not bad. read more

I love this place. It's a super old school luncheonette. No more than 7 tables in there. Small, so you won't be overwhelmed with 20 conversations around you. Not a ton of people so you get great service that seems to be exclusive to you. The food was cooked perfect. Im very critical and it left me with nothing but good things to say. Coffee was good, I actually had 3 cups it was so good. (normally I'm one cup and out, move on to juice only). I will definitely return for breakfast. I'm anxious to try their lunch. This little spot rules over Nevada Diner just down the road. Portions were good and relatively inexpensive compared to portions and price at area diners. I can only judge based on the Greek omelette but great little local place that makes a great omelette. Staff is very attentive and they try to keep things happy. While it does have a HomeTown feel to it I stopped in to get a quick bite to eat and I actually wasn't very impressed, I thought it would be because I actually read the reviews before stopping in. I wanted to order a veggie burger and so before ordering I asked what was in it. The girl waiting on my table says I don't know. In which is a bit weird because either thought she immediately ask the cook in the back, then she asked the cook after i asked her to and he said he didn't know because they were pre-packaged which I thought was not really good. I have a food allergy and I need to know what the main ingredients of some foods. I just ended up ordering a BLT with fries which The BLT came out first and then about another 10 minutes later the fries were done covered in Grease and on a plate that just looked horrible it looked about 25 fries short of a real order I probably won't go back here again. Sucks because I read such good reviews. Also the waitress waiting on my table had leggings on in which were see thru. read more
