    Blackened Pork Chop
    Dasle K.

Toddler-friendly, amazing food, superb service. The short rib ragu was incredible! The pork chop was also so tasty. Everyone loved their food. We had a group of 11 - 6 adults and 5 toddlers and the staff accommodated us so well. We were in a separate room that we had all to ourselves until people came in for their 7pm reservations. Would love to come back for their Christmas decor next season!

As much as I LOVE a happy hour deal, I never get out of work early enough to go. But this time I did!! It was a hot day so we both ordered the cucumber cocktail which was so refreshing. I normally wouldn't go for that, because it reminds me of spa water but it was perfect. We ordered oysters along with the Brussel sprouts and it was delish. For dessert, we got the chocolate banana cake with ice cream but it sounded better than it was. The cake was dry and felt like an old muffin. Other than the dessert, no complaints. Service was fast and friendly and the outdoor patio was empty so we were able to choose where we sat.

We had a very nice experience, I appreciated the vegan options, I had fried pickles buffalo cauliflower, and the Korean renewal without the egg. The strangers meet cocktails was als veg nice and service was great. He had the pork chop and said it was very good and well cooked. Beautiful restaurant and we will be revisiting.

happy to have picked this place for dinner with the fam! we went on a weekday so it wasnt so crowded. Perfect since we got smaller kids with us! we sat outside since the August weather was nice that day and made it for happy hour. The food was delicious and was truly a definition of happy hour! lol we got fresh oysters, savory sticky shrimp and wings, and yummy fried pickles! Not to mention service from Michael was simply amazing. He was very pleasant and kind! also patient as we sometimes took a while to decide what to get! for entrees we ordered a bunch since we were a party of 12 but it seems everybody enjoy their food! i know i enjoyed my Cherry Pepper Rigatoni with added shrimp! a tad salty and oily but still good! too bad we didnt try dessert since we brought cake but that maybe another reason to return aside from all the good stuff happening here! oh and both indoor and outdoor settings are just beautiful!

Service was friendly and attentive. Only con was that we were offered extra bread at no charge but they did charge on the check. Very decorated location with so many photo ops. I had the secret Santa which was different but good. Meatballs were okay but the shrimp was fantastic. Parking might be troublesome depending on the time.

Wonderful food, cocktails and service at this Verona spot. Here a few times a month. Julian behind the bar makes excellent cocktails and the kitchen never disappoints. Get the Parkside donuts for dessert.

Came here for dinner on a Friday night and was seated promptly with our reservation. While the service was very friendly, it was so, so slow. We waited probably close to 10 minutes before our server came to greet us. The drinks took very long to come out despite being sat right by the bar, as did the food. We ordered some cocktails- one of their specialty drinks and an old fashioned, both were fantastic! For our starter, we got the sticky shrimp which were great, definitely my favorite thing that I tried. My husband ordered the French dip and I went for the chicken sandwich. The chicken was crispy and I loved the pairing of it with the pickles and slaw, but the piece of chicken was huge and there wasn't enough slaw to balance it out so the sandwich tasted a bit dry. The fries were hand cut and tasted good so there was a lot of potential there, but were underdone. Overall the ambiance is nice and the patio seating is perfect for an evening cocktail, so I'd come back for a round of drinks and the sticky shrimp!

Mike was an incredible server and we had an INCREDIBLE meal. It was so beautiful inside and the perfect volume. We ate the Brussel sprouts, filet, and sugar donuts. I'd come back again for all three and Mike!

Great atmosphere as it reminds me of their sister location (the barrow house). It's a funky vibe and truly fits the name park side social -- you feel important here. The cocktails are phenomenal and so funky fresh from the names all the way to the flavors! The food is average. I find that the hope is to make the plates just as funky as their drinks versus providing some staple dishes without the elevated spin. While there our elevated brussel sprouts weren't cooked all the way through, the French fries weren't crisp and my pulled pork sandwich was filled with just chunks of fatty pieces of pork. Another customer near us also had some concerns with their plate.

This place is magical and one of my favorite Christmas bars, especially in NJ! I love how they have vegan options and it's clearly labeled on the menu. My personal favorite is their version of a Christmas themed Espresso martini with almond milk called Rudolph's Replacement. They even serve it in the cutest dinosaur with a Santa hat mug. The drink is so fun and decadent and has just the right amount of sweetness to balance out the tartness of the booze. I also tried the buffalo cauliflower wings and they were spicier than I expected them to be, which I loved. The decor and ambiance here is so wonderful and I really love all of the intricate details. There's great photo opps no matter where you turn. Everyone here was so friendly from the other patrons to the staff.

It's a very cute place to sit and socialize as the name states. Even, better during the holidays. It is transformed into a Christmas Miracle. During the holidays it is called Miracle on Bloomfield. It just the right place to get you into the holiday spirit. We have a few drinks. The Krampus is large but spicy. I had the Chrismapolitan. While the cup is small, it packs a punch. The Secret Santa was a hit too. My burger and fries were very tasty but they ran out of buns - they offered different choices of bread but it wasn't the same. The sticky shrimp and wings were a hit with some members of my party. Overall a great night.

Great way to get into the holiday spirit and a fun spot to hang out with friends. The drinks were great as well. Food was very good, you can't go wrong with any of it. I always appreciate when I asked for breakfast potatoes extra crispy and they listen! Big fan of the brunch burger, definitely a fork and knife affair. I haven't had dinner here but I have visited for the bottomless brunch a separate time and it was really good.

The fillings come out on flat sticks in a wooden holder (kinda like a taco stand), and you get boxes of nori (seaweed sheets) on the side. You slide the filling onto the seaweed yourself and eat it right away, so everything stays nice and crisp. It's a little DIY, but in a good way. Not sure why the restaurant isn't busier because the good was very good. We split a cauliflower fritters appetizer, which was tasty and hot. It was a cross between breaded fried cauliflower and the Indian Gobi style. I had the mushroom burger, an 8 oz hamburger with mushrooms and sauteed spinach along with melted cheese. The meat was fresh and good. A big step above most burgers plus generous portions of sauteed onions and mushrooms along with melted cheeses. When I get my hamburger craving, I know where I'm going. The Butter Chicken Tacos were an unusual option. Based on Indian Butter Chicken, the national dish of UK along with Chicken Marsala, it was served in a naan with a side of rice. Really very flavorful and creative. The chopped salmon burger with mayo also comes with cheese, which was unexpected, but worked well. Service was prompt and friendly. The waitress and another wait staff person even moved furniture around looking for my grandson's red crayon. (He was sitting on it). Worth a visit even if you don't go have a craft bar or cocktail.

My friend had reserved tables in the back until midnight, yet her guest were rudely told to move to the front before we had even finished our food and drinks (around 11:15 pm). After moving to the front, I set my new drink down on the table to take a quick birthday photo just a few feet away. When I returned, that drink was gone as well. When I brought this to the manager's attention, she initially said there was nothing she could do. After more discussion, she offered a shot of Cuervo, which was not comparable to what I had originally ordered. To make matters worse, the manager, Lori, continued to argue with me in front of other customers, which felt extremely unprofessional and unnecessary. Even after I pointed that out, the interaction continued longer than it should have. We left extremely unhappy with how management handled the entire situation. It's unfortunate that one person's actions (Lori) and lack of professionalism were enough to completely ruin what should have been a special celebration. From the lack of accountability to the way the situation was handled, there was no real effort to make things right.

We made a resy so when we arrived our table was available and had a nice city view. Our goal was to catch the sunset based on the time and while we kinda did, there are absolutely no direct views of the west so you catch bits and pieces of the sunset. Sunrise would probably be awesome up there bc you'd get clear views but clearly a bar won't be open at sunrise. They have a nice specialty cocktail menu and their speciality sangria sounded like we couldn't pass it up so that's what we ordered but there was nothing special about it in any way so we were a little disappointed. We ordered shrimp cocktail and sausage and pepper sliders for a small bite and neither of those were anything to write home about either. Nearly all of us opted for a specialty cocktail, and we all raved about how delicious they were. I particularly enjoyed the Golden Echo, a delightful blend of passionfruit liqueur, mango puree, lime, spicy bitters, ginger beer, and dark rum. It truly transported me to a Caribbean getaway! We also thoroughly enjoyed the fries with their addictive herb aioli and the popcorn, both of which disappeared quickly.
