A medium sized venue with free street parking. Has that old school diner feel with booth seating, table seating, & counter seating. They also have some outdoor seating. This place is dog friendly both inside and outside, although they do not have a dog specific menu. Fun fact: The dogs in the building were very well behaved, the Human children were not, lol. Staff are very very friendly and fun. This place definitely has that "Home Town" vibe. Food wise, we had the Chicken & Waffle, Belgian Waffle, French Toast, Scrambled Eggs w/Cheese, Canadian Bacon, Taylor Ham, & Sausage. Note the Arnold Palmer (not pictured) is not sweet, so if you like it that way it's a positive. For us, it was not. Also the chicken in the 'chicken & waffle' are chicken tenders. They also offer "regular syrup" or you could get Maple syrup for $2. Good experience overall, a solid option for when in the area again. Classic Jersey diner vibes. Nothing overly fancy, but exactly what you expect from a good local spot. I do wish they had a few more coffee options, but the regular coffee was good and the orange juice was actually really fresh and delicious. We ordered pancakes, eggs, and turkey bacon -- everything came out good and hit the spot. Service was great, staff was friendly, and the ambience was casual and comfortable. Overall, a solid diner experience.

On the hunt for the best chicken n waffles and these did not disappoint!!!! The waffles and chicken were perfectly crispy. The specialty comfort syrup was a little too sweet for me so I preferred using the maple syrup Saturday around 1:30pm, I was able to find parking right in front of the restaurant and was seated as soon as I stepped in. I did prefer one of the tables in the corner and the waitress was nice enough to clean it for me since it was dirty. The food didn't take long to come out. Would definitely come back to try other items on the menu!

I ordered a large latte with cinnamon, a croissant for chocolate chip cookies and a heated cinnamon roll. All this took 20 minutes to get. The staff seemed to be overwhelmed by the amount of people and took very long time to fulfill the order. Which was unfortunate because the coffee is actually pretty good, and it looks like they have a lot of events at this space that would be fun to come back to. Like a poetry open Mike game nights art painting. But the care in service leaves a lot to be desired. The cinnamon roll was soft and tasty and not overly sweet, which I appreciated and the chocolate chip cookies were also very good. the croissant was smashed inside the take away container as an afterthought and not with any care. This is something that I believe warrants attention by Management to train the staff. And waited essentially 25 minutes after ordering for

The food was AMAZING . The best omelet and avocado toast i have ever had hands DOWN!!!!! As we southerns say, "This food is so good it will make you want to SLAPPPP! YO MAMA" LoL . Hat off to chef. Overall the Service at the Sugar Tree Cafe started for us before we even entered the Cafe 10 out of 10 from me for everyone. Ohhh!!! and I must mention that a lovely lady came over and sat next to us, she boldly but in a friendly manner asked? So! how's the food here, i thaught she was new here like myself. As a new customer I immediately started bragging about my awesome food, service and, how beautiful the Cafe was. We laughed and talked for a good while, come to find out!!! she was one of the Founders of the Sugar Tree Cafe! totaly an AMAZING Woman thank you for such a great conversion, taking the time to listen and, asking was there anything that they could do to better accommodate us in the future. I was totally satisfied with everything, my Daughter is a pescaterian who offered suggestions that would accommodate her style of eating but they did go above and beyond to accommodate her by cooking her some salmonthat was not on the menu ty Chef Malcolm and VictoriaB. My girlfriend and I visited Tasty Junction for an early dinner one Saturday. They weren't too busy…read moreso it was easy to find a table for 2. Once you sit down you scan a QR Code to order your food and drinks. I was pretty hungry that day so we ended up ordering a ton of food. The drinks were pretty good and they were served in Le Creuset mugs. Not the biggest deal, but I can appreciate some nice drinkware. The bowl of Kimchi Fried rice came out first. It was a generous portion and the rice was cooked well, but I feel like it could've used some more kimchi. The eggs on top were cooked perfectly and added good texture to the dish. The next dish to come out was the HK French toast. The bread was nice and fluffy which paired well with a nice generous drizzle of condensed milk. I enjoyed this a lot. We also ordered scallion pancake, pork barbecue, and bossam baos. These were ok, I would probably pass on a return visit. I felt like the meat in the baos was a little tough though they did have decent flavor. The last entree was the smoked salmon and avocado croissant; I really enjoyed this. It had a generous helping of smoked salmon and avocado as well. The saltiness of the salmon paired well with the creamy and fatty avocado. The croissant was also nice and flaky. It was also served with a house salad which had a nice drizzle of dressing on it too. For dessert we ordered a Black Sesame Souffle Pancake. This was SO good. A few months ago I visited a place in Princeton that specialized in these Japanese-style pancakes and Tasty Junction's version was so much more enjoyable. I loved that it was served with a healthy scoop of ice cream. The pancake was airy and had a bounce to it. Each bite was so good and made even better with the ice cream. I'd definitely come back just for the pancakes. All in all Tasty Junction is a great spot tucked away in Glen Rock
