Can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review, but I finally got around to it. I'm so glad Tasty junction opened in town. They have everything from soufflé pancakes to dumplings. There's bound to be something there for everyone to enjoy. We've visited on many occasion and we always get the beef jian bian, beef bao, and potstickers. We've gotten the lumpia Shanghai, but I find that a bit too salty and over fried. My kids love the soufflé pancakes and shaved ice. The soufflé pancakes are fluffy and delicious. The shaved ice is huge and definitely shareable. The place is clean, casual, and kid friendly. You order up front and they bring you your order. There's also free wifi if you want to grab a drink and do some work there.

I really like the concept of this place. It's essentially like a mini food court where you can order from several different mini "restaurants". There is a wide variety of what you can get from souffle pancakes to bulgogi to dumplings. We started out with some pork belly bao which was definitely the highlight of the meal; great flavors! We also ordered the bulgogi and some chicken + corn potstickers but those two fell a bit short for me. I felt the bulgogi was way too oily and the beef too chewy while the potstickers lacked flavor. I think this place really has a lot of potential if they can just nail some of the flavors a bit better!

Very good Asian fusion spot: Jian bing is a must get & probably one of the few spots in NJ that has this Chinese dish - 10/10 Soufflé pancake was good, again one of the few spots in NJ that has this Japanese style pancake - 9/10 Char siu fried rice was very good - 9.5/10 Bulgogi bao seems like their Korean-Chinese fusion dish, very good - 9/10

One of my new favorite places!!!! I'm obsessed! The owner is also so sweet! The iced matcha lattes are so good. I can't wait to come back

Saw this place on TikTok and had to check it out! This spot is great if you and your friends are all craving different things but want to eat together (: I'd recommend ordering from the kiosk only because there are sooo many options - you have to look through all of them! We decided on the Jian Bing - we got beef and this was really flavorful and juicy, Pork Chive dumplings - crispy and very succulent, and the Soufflé Pancake - we made our own: choose your cream and toppings. Super fun and would love to come again to try more menu items!

YUM!!! It's like a mini food court vibe with a trio of different menus to order from. Lots of food. Lots of beverages. And unique meals + combos! Picnic table style seating and would be easy for friends! Got a ube matcha latte with almond milk and it's so good. :)

At first it was quite confusing looking at the menu and wondering what I was able to order because of the different names but thats besides the point. To start I ordered the bacon egg and cheese combo that included the soufflé pancakes. Pancakes were yummy, it was fluffy and mildly sweet. The eggs were way too peppery and was not my favorite. Next we got the BEC jian bing. It was honestly kind of bland but not bad. The kimchi dumplings were my favorite. Couldve been crispier but I enjoyed the flavors and would order again. Lastly we got the beef buns. This was also a bit bland with the plain buns and thin beef slices and a piece of scallion. There is definitely potential for it to have more flavor. There was quite a lot on the menu and it was really difficult to narrow it down. Overall I felt it was good to try but probably won't return.

Build your own - pancakes topped with coffee whipped cream and Oreo crumble

Great local spot for fluffy Japanese pancakes! They have a few staple flavors but you can also build your own with a bunch of options. They also have a large selection of menu items that span across multiple Asian cuisines. I love this because when I'm here with others it gives us a chance to try a bunch of different things. The atmosphere is very casual. There's free WiFi - and I've taken my laptop to work here before. Most of the seating is inside the smaller restaurant but there's 1-2 tables outside as well.

Finally got my chance to try the Japanese soufflé pancakes today and they did not disappoint. Stopped by for brunch and tried the bulgogi dumplings and kimchi pork potstickers, as well as their cloud pancakes. All the food was delicious and so was their coffee. I was sad I couldn't try more of their menu options but I will definitely come back again. We arrived right at opening on Sunday 10:30am. By 11am, the cafe was already filling up. The good service, cute ambiance, and convenient parking is also a plus. Looking forward to the next visit.

Two words: soufflé pancakes. Don't leave without trying these! We got the black sesame one and it did not disappoint. The food here overall is great - we had a little bit of everything - fried rice, dumplings, udon, etc. The iced matcha latte was pretty good. There is limited seating and the place was pretty busy. I would prefer takeout from here rather than dining in but maybe except for the soufflé pancakes! Not sure those would be good via delivery. Would recommend for a quick lunch, dessert, or drinks!

The create your own cloud pancake was delicious as well as the Thai tea. Staff very nice. Cute little place.

Tasty Cafe is a hidden gem tucked into a small plaza--you could easily miss it if you're not looking! It's run by a young woman honoring her family's traditions, and you can really feel the heart behind everything here. The vibe is casual and welcoming. You order at the counter and sit at picnic-style tables, which adds to the cozy, down-to-earth atmosphere. We were entertained watching the soufflé pancake batter whipped fresh to order, topped with fresh whipped cream--a really nice touch that made it feel special. For the lunch special, we had the pork belly fried rice and Bulgogi dumplings. Both were made to order and tasted incredibly fresh. Definitely give them a try

Such is the cast with County Pancake House turned, LeCafe Pancake. Country Pancake was legendary with a menu boasting close to 150 varieties of pancakes, waffles and French toast. Literally anything that you could have imagined was available from plain to blueberry marshmallow M&Ms. If it wasn't on the menu they'd concoct it for you. It was novel that the wait staff had most menu items memorized so when, for example, you said "I'll have a 110" they'd reply, "strawberry buckwheat" or whatever. You get the idea. During their long run in Ridgewood, people would flock there from all over the tri state to sample their selections. Wait times were crazy but oh so worth it. Then, a couple of years ago, the owner decided to retire. Great, you had a winning restaurant that was usually packed so why mess with success? Clearly the new owners decided they could do things better and failed. All they had to do was literally NOTHING. Keep the same menu, staff, decor and all would have been great. Instead, they join the ranks of Paparazzi and Joe's American, both of which enjoyed incredible popularity which all but died after misguided renovations. Gone is the massive selection, attentive staff and amazing food. That's not to say my pancakes weren't delicious, they were. But the choices are now severely limited, the iced coffee tasted like flavored water and the cornbread sucked. The staff was also friendly but clearly overwhelmed, something the old owner would have never tolerated. With nearby choices like Daily Treat and Raymond's I probably won't be returning anytime soon which is sad because in their old incarnation, they were always my only choice.

They offered two little slips to each customer - one for a savory crepe and one for a sweet and you can build you own. Great concept but it would be beneficial if the server confirmed the order because we asked for nutella, banana, strawberry, and ice cream and got 2/4. We were in a rush to leave so forgot to check the receipt to see if we were charged for the others; however it was $48 (w/o tip) for 1 panini, 1 crepe and 1 latte so a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion. The sandwich and crepe were both just okay, nothing to rave about. The drink was aesthetically pleasing with the iced Bear and tasted great. We asked for whipped cream on the latte but our server forgot that too. She also forgot to provide us water until we asked and it came at the end of the meal.  Outside dining was not optimal as it's right next to the railroad tracks and quite loud. There is a kids play area which I thought was a nice addition to the space, but I do wish it was gated off for the younger kids as it's so close to the road! Overall, I found that it was a bit overrated and underwhelming... there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that I wouldn't opt to come back here.

After a long kids play date at nearby Wild Duck pond, we decided to drop in on a Saturday afternoon at 12:20ish and there were plennnnttty of open tables and seats when we arrived. Although the restaurant doesn't say diner anywhere, the menu is as classic diner as it gets. There's a heavy emphasis on the all-day breakfast menu, but they serve your typical salads, paninis, wraps, triple decker sammies, burgers and hodgepodge of entrees. On our 1st trip here, we ended up getting our kids the kids mac and cheese and kids pancakes. Although I didn't try much of it, I took a few taste test bites, which were decent. Nothing about it blew me away, but it was what it was. As for my wife, she ordered the Shrimp, Avocado, Roasted Corn Salad and she thoroughly enjoyed it, but, once again, I didn't really have at it, so can't give an honest review on it. As for me, I got an Omelette with Home Fries and Toast during our 1st meal here. The reason I don't specify it is because my omelette ended up getting swapped with a friend of ours. This was no fault of the restaurant's though as our friend claimed my omelette without confirming it was the right order, which ended up leaving me with his omelette. Bottom line, the omelette I ended up eating was still solid. I probably would have enjoyed it more though if I got the order I was anticipating, but, nevertheless, it was still good. Our waiter was friendly and handled our orders like a champ. In fact, he kept separate bills for us on the side just in case we wanted to split the bill, which we did! So job well done by him. There is NO DOUBT we'll be back now that we're aware an actual diner is located in Ridgewood since we 1) love going to Ridgewood to eat and (2) we absolutely loveeee diners.
