4.5 stars -- only because I've only been there once. Once I return, I'm sure I'm going to pop up to 5 stars! This tiny place in Ho-Ho-Kus was a truly lovely brunch experience. The food was fresh (how did they find a flawless avocado in the middle of winter???) and the flavors delicious. The service was outstanding -- weekend brunch was packed, and they put your name on a list in case you want to walk around town while you're waiting. Don't go too far, because somehow they're able to move the tables without making folks feel rushed. Each person we encountered -- the host, the folks at the counter, our server -- was nicer than the last. I got a bowl that had slightly cooked spinach, poached eggs, sweet potatoes and that GOHgeous avocado I mentioned above. One thing I really liked about this bowl is that it didn't have rice in it -- something that would've made it too overwhelming. This was the perfect combo and portion size. Came in on Valentine's Day for brunch! There is plenty of parking in the front and the back. It is a small space so take that into consideration during busy times. But overall it is a cute spot. We came here for weekend brunch. Seemed to be really popular spot among locals as it was packed. Luckily we didn't have to wait long as few parties had just left. The interior of the restaurant was so nice, modern and well lit. There were outdoor seating area available as well. Other than street parking, they also had free parking spots at the rear side of the restaurant. We ordered the egg benedict, steak and egg, and pancake stack. They were served within a short time. Overall all the dishes were good. Steak was cooked well. But the pieces were thick. I wish it had more flavor. The chimichurri sauce on the steak saved the dish. Pancakes were fluffy and little sweet, my daughter liked it. The service was decent as well. Both the owners (father & son) were present at the restaurant, helping out rest of the staff. Graze is a charming brunch spot located within a strip of businesses in pretty Ho-Ho-Kus. There is free parking at the rear of the building and outdoor seating is available. Upon entering, you're going to see a very clean interior, nicely spaced out tables, and a welcoming atmosphere. Ciera did an exceptional job at treating us like her only customers and checked on us at perfect intervals. My Cafe Latte was beautifully crafted and served in a large mug. Our entrees were, as follows: Graze Omelette (mushroom, spinach, swiss, home fries, and a side salad) and the Gran Marnier Pancakes (whipped butter, orange zest, Vermont maple syrup). The omelette was fluffy, almost every bite had all of the ingredients, and the potatoes were the optimally crunchy and soft. Those pancakes were T.H.I.C.K., the orange zest added the perfect hint of deliciousness, and couldn't be finished. Both items are highly recommended, as well as this restaurant. read more

Hello again, I forgot how I found out about this place and I'm so glad I did. After months on planning on going, I made my way to this lovely place. I use to live closer but I move further down the parkway now so I don't always feel like going all the way up north. I talked a little to the co owner/host and he was so nice and welcomed me with open arms. So I had finally got the French toast and boyyyyyy was it good. Crunchy on the outside and so custardy on the inside. They made real caramel not the fake shit and it wasn't too sweet and complimented the French toast perfectly. Came for a late brunch/lunch on a weekday closer to 1pm and was greeted warmly both outside and inside. Offered a high chair for the little one and we got right to ordering within a few minutes. Matcha latte for my wife and ice coffee for me to start. I ended up getting their version of Shashuka with a side of bacon, perfect choice for me to have a bit of salty and savory in each bite. What a gorgeous space! My dad and I stopped in on a whim and I was immediately in love with the decor and aesthetic of the space. Modern, with lots of greenery and exposed brick. he playlist was 60's-70's classics (which I loved), and there is an old record player and some albums by the door. A lovely mix of classic and modern. They do have some more "fancy" coffee drinks - the women next to me ordered iced shaken espressos, which look like gorgeous cocktails when served in the glass (as opposed to plastic Starbucks cups haha). My dad ordered the Salted Caramel French Toast. It was absolutely delicious if you have a sweet tooth. I opted for something more savory - the Spring Harvest Bowl - it had sweet potato, wilted spinach, roasted tomato, huge hen-of-the-wood mushrooms, and two poached eggs. It was fantastic. We spoke with the owner George for a bit afterward; they only opened a few months ago and are doing really well. This is a great place for a quick coffee, or to stay for brunch. There is a counter with pastries and if I lived closer, I'd probably come here with my laptop to do some work. read more

One of my favorite spots I've visited for Satueday Brunch, dying to go again. The ambience is a mix of old and new. I went twice, ordered multiple things off the menu that sparked my interests. Photos did not do the taste justice and the staff was extremely pleasant to chat with in between. They checked in on me to ensure my order was coming out or if there was anything needed on my end. A tip for the staff to make the experience a little more highly elevated would be to watch the beverages - when you see all empty glasses and mugs, just pour more coffee and bring out a new bottle of water without asking. If a meal comes with toast, include room temperature, salted butter. A little disappointing you cannot substitute or modify any dishes. Coffee was amazing - really good blend and roasted well. As an app we got the burrata was which really delicious. I enjoyed my Scramble Roll - I haven't had eggs in a brioche hot dog bun like that before but it was a nice variation. My brother had the veggie bowl which he was found good, but not as flavorful in terms of sauces/dressings - however he noted the ingredients were very fresh. My dad had a classic omelet which was good. My friend brought us to this place as she had a great brunch here. We stopped in at 2:40 initially thinking of take out coffee however, the owner said they accept people in to sit until 3. We decided to try one of their speciality coffees. We asked which one was good and she abruptly said they all are. We got the coffee and the peppermint mocha had zero peppermint flavor and they were lukewarm. The matcha was super bitter. The waitress came over and rudely said the kitchen is closing and asked if we wanted anything. According to the manager we had time. She brought us coffee and the check immediately. If they didn't want us to sit then don't invite us to sit down. There were also other people still here eating and relaxing. If you want lukewarm coffee and rude service, this is the place to be. The entrance is a little confusing but once we made it in we were seated right away with quick service. Arrived on a Sunday at 12pm during a peak time! Worth the wait, but have learned my lesson to come during an off-peak time in order to avoid a close to 1 hour wait outside in the sun. Inside is beautiful and comfortable. It's a vibe, though small in size and busy. The staff is werking it! It took three reminders for a refill on our water, for no other reason but our server being incredibly busy. All good. The food was fresh and flavorful. The steak in the steak and eggs was small but delicious. I loved my salmon BLT. I'm looking forward to going back to try some other things. read more
