Excellent cafe with very friendly owners.

Out of all of the Fisher's Cafes, this is my favorite. Not only because it's large, not only because it's nicely decorated both inside and outside, not only because the food is served in generous portions and delicious, but because I knew everything would fall into place after experiencing the stellar service. The owner is hospitable, cordial, funny, and sits down at each table, when taking their order. I never see that at any other eatery and, in my opinion, is a nice thing that every customer will appreciate. Our entrees were: Western Omelette (Ham, onions, peppers, with home fries and buttered rye toast) and the Town Special (2 sunny side up eggs, turkey sausage, home fries, and wheat toast). Both entrees were delicious, filling, and highly recommended. If you prefer dinner, weekly specials are available which, I'm certain, are just as good as their breakfast. This Fisher's Cafe has won me over, we will definitely return, and enjoy your meal(s), here.

Walking in gave me a homey kind of feel. Autumn/Halloween decorations were up. Before 11 on a Sunday, the restaurant is lightly filled. Our waiter was friendly. He even took our orders while sitting down at our table He provided health conscientious recommendations when asked. The food came out at a decent pace. A cup of water is not automatic, so be sure to ask for one if you want. I got the Eggs Nova Scotia. The dish was definitely savory. So savory that I felt the urge to drink my sweet Peach Snapple between bites. The home fries were somewhat bland and needed a good helping of ketchup for flavor. Overall, the food is meh but the place is homey and welcoming. Wouldn't mind going back for brunch when feeling something different.

This is a great local breakfast spot. It has a homey feel to it. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food is good. I went there on a Monday morning for breakfast and it was fairly empty, we got our drinks and food fast.

Grabbed an early breakfast with a friend on Saturday morning. I had been to Fisher's Cafe in Fair Lawn, and I'm not sure if this place is affiliated, but they have pretty similar decor. There is a old school counter, where the kitchen is in full view, with some tables and booths in the other areas of the restaurant. I believe there is parking in the back. I got my usual breakfast staple, corned beef hash with eggs. The eggs were cooked as I asked, the corned beef hash was definitely the canned kind, which isn't bad but nothing special. The breakfast deal also came with coffee AND juice, so the value is great.

This place is a hidden Gem. You walk in and automatically feel like you're transported back 25 years. The decor, picture's, and overall ambiance of the place give you the old school vibes that are hard to come by these days. I regularly come here for breakfast , so this review is only for that They have some of the best omelets ive gad anywhere and I love their different kinds of eggs Benedict meals (they have quite an extensive list). You can tell they make their hollandaise in house which makes all the difference The place is also very clean and service is always on point!

I have lived in the area for 20+ years and never made it over to this iconic eatery....until today that is! On a rainy Saturday, we decided to finally make the trip. Ordered the western omelette and a short stack of banana nut pancakes. Everything was AMAZING! Better than any other local diner. The omelette was not greasy at all and had a great helping of peppers, onions and bacon. The potatoes it came with were great! And then let's talk about these pancakes....I have no words. They were better than any ihop pancake I've had...and I love ihop. They bake the bananas and nuts inside the pancake which i love...not all places do that. I didn't want to eat as much as I did but they were so good I couldn't leave any behind. Coffee was good! And the best part....prices are great! Can't wait to go back for lunch!

Behind the counter, the have different options for teas, cereals, coffee enhancements.

ordered the Town Special, it comes with two eggs, home fries, your choice of meat, and toast. When your in search of good home comfort food this place hits the spot. Service is friendly and food is cooked fast.

Just stumbled across this gem on the Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights. The food was amazing the customers and staff friendly. It's a great place for breakfast or lunch and the prices are perfect for the customer on an recession budget. (Has a very inclusive vibe)

I really have a love for Fishers cafe ever since I started going to the one in Fairlawn and I was thrilled to find out that there is another location is my area. I have now been here on two separate occasions and both experiences were excellent. I always order the Jersey Boy Eggs Benny and it is so delicious. I love that Fishers is consistent in serving quality food each and every time. The decor is very old school and makes me feel like i stepped back in time. The staff never lets your coffee cup get empty and always serve with a smile. Just a side note: don't wait for your check just walk up to the cash register and they will ring you rite up!

The servers were nice and polite, but the overall service felt more friendly than genuinely warm or welcoming. I ordered the tonic, which definitely did wonders for my stomach, but I wasn't a big fan of the taste. It was a little too tangy and bitter for me. The chicken tasted similar to frozen breaded chicken tenders, and the waffles were pretty simple. Overall, the dish didn't really wow me. That said, it wasn't a bad place. The restaurant has a clean aesthetic and a cute atmosphere, so it may be worth checking out if you're in the area. It just wasn't quite my cup of tea.

We found this place on yelp and has decent hope of the food and service. We ordered starvin Marvin,…read moresmashed burger, and mangu sliders. Starvin Marvin was very subpar, the potatoes were deep fried and too tough, French toast was bad no taste (some burnt, some under cooked), syrup was standard store bought, over easy eggs were oily and for $21, this plate was a dissapoinment. The mangu slider was delicious, I guess it's their speciality in this place as most guests ordered this dish. We ordered two coffees, with cream and sugar but came without any spoon, so we used dining fork. No one offer the refill when the cups were empty (but they charge $4 for bottomless coffee), so you had to flag them. They have many staff working for the size of the place but they seemed to have very inexperience servers, despite they are nice and courteous. I am still eating, they cleared all other plates. My husband was drinking the coffee, they took away the saucer. I think they need to train the staff for better service especially your price is on the higher side for breakfast. The place is small but acceptable, they open the doors but wish they have better air circulating system if they decide not to use the ceiling fans or AC.

They chatted with everyone and were extremely open to us asking for recommendations. They even accommodated request for our a corner piece from the tray of cinnamon rolls :) Seems like a bit of a silly request but they did not make us feel bad about it at all, and happily boxed it up for us. We got a blueberry cinnamon roll, the brown butter banana bread, and a turkey BLT. Plus a honey lavender latte for my daily caffeine dose. The cinnamon roll was fluffy and the icing with blueberry topping were perfectly balanced. It was not overly sweet! I don't particularly enjoy banana, but the brown butter banana bread was divine. It wasn't dry nor overly moist and was the perfect bread/cake hybrid texture. The brown butter icing added an additional layer of nuttiness. The turkey BLT was served on their foccacia with tomatoes from a farmer's market - recommended by the staff. This was a great savory addition and they didn't skimp on the turkey bacon. The tomato was juicy but not too watery, and held its own in the sandwich. I didn't think I'd be writing about the tomato but it was very fresh and high quality! It's obvious they care genuinely about the menu items they put out, and the service they provide. It was a bit pricey, but well worth it. I can't wait to visit again.
