Surprisingly good and fast Latin-diner food at 2015 prices. I got an impressively fast workday lunch here this week. Chicken on the bone, black beans rice and veges (cabbage and carrots). It took maybe 3 minutes to arrive. I got lunch, can of soda, and a coffee to go for like $16. read more

Great place with so many options. Tried Lomo Saltado for the first time, with added sunny side eggs for breakfast and it was so flavorful. The Greek omelette was delicious. The portions were amazing for the price. They seated us and took orders from our seats but you can also just order at the counter. Either way, their service is very pleasant. read more

Very disappointed with lunch today. I ordered the Chicken Francese with black beans and vegetables and unfortunately, every bite was very bland. The entire meal lacked flavor and seasoning, which made it very unenjoyable. I was really looking forward to lunch, so this was especially disappointing. read more

Service - Super friendly and courteous staff, came right over to bring us a baby seat and then provided us with menus. Ambiance - clean restrooms but don't have a changing table which seems to be the norm in small places so not a big deal since I'm use to it. Food was good. Well seasoned and good portions. read more

As my hunt for a great Taylor ham, egg and cheese continues, I wound up at this little corner grill. Employees were excellent. I called in my sandwich order and it was ready 7 minutes later as I walked in. Can't beat that. As I'm waiting on line, the five customers ahead of me were each getting an empanada or two as well. Now my curiosity is racing. So obviously, I had to get a chicken and a beef empanada as well! Let's start with the breakfast sandwich. Excellent. Gooey cheese and layered perfectly. 2 pieces of Taylor ham, egg in the middle and 2 pieces of Taylor ham. The formula was perfect. I always get it on a round roll. These guys use a sesame seed roll which i wasn't thrilled with but........ it wasn't a game change luckily. The Empanadas were out of this world. They were juicy and spiced just right. They weren't skimpy with the meat either. This was stuffed to the gills. What a find that was!!! This place has its breakfast and empanada game on point! read more

I got freshly squeezed apple juice. You could taste that it was fresh. It was a little small in there. There isn't much parking space but overall, I had a great breakfast! (again) read more

Excellent service, great food, and low prices. Good selection of different foods as well.

What a perfect little brunch spot. Surprisingly the second time we went, there wasn't as much of a crowd. I attested it to the summer shore months. This place was PACKED the first time we went but they still found a way to seat us in a short period of time. There are several people that come in and out for takeout as well. That's always a good sign. The food is absolutely delicious and insanely affordable. They do fresh juices and smoothies too! Think of your favorite diner/brunch spot and sprinkle a little Latino sass on that bad boy and VOILA! Out comes Lincoln Grill Cafe! The food is absolutely DROOL worthy. I mean, the type of drool worthy where you see your food coming and you already need a napkin. It's not super oily either, it's well done brunch food. However, you can taste the fact that there's definitely a Hispanic grandma in the back firing out all her tricks! The service folks are always very kind and helpful. I think the only thing preventing me from giving it a full 5 stars is that it's a little confusing regarding table service/menus. Each time I've been here we weren't sure if we go to the counter to order then sit...Sit and wait for menus... We've gotten menus and weren't sure if it was the same thing on the chalk board behind the service counter... Idk what it is but something could be slightly more clear. Even a sign that says "seat yourself and a waiter will be with you shortly" or "please wait to be seated." Not saying I have the answer to this one but something is a little confusing about the dine in experience. All in all there's a massive part of me that really looks forward to a Lincoln Grill Cafe lunch. Yum----my oh my is it good! read more

I noticed after eating here a second time that I have a strange cough. It was not there before and I am not sick. I regret leaving a tip.

Been wanting to come here for a long time, but never stopped in I'm glad I did today. Nice clean well kept place. Very friendly service. So many choices but I was in the mood for empanadas and a burrito. I got a cheese empanada and the chicken empanada both very good size and very tasty along with some pink sauce. Then I topped it off with the steak burrito. Nice size burrito for a great price. Will definitely be back to try their hot lunch specials. I would love to have this place for dinner one day but they close at 4:00 everyday. read more

Lincoln Grill Cafe is a good place to visit for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. You get good food for the price you pay, a great bang for your buck! The inside is simple, yet clean and nice. I came here for a late breakfast and started off with some empanadas. I got one beef and one cheese with no complaints from either. They are a good size at a fair price! I then got the Latin fried steak and eggs which came with home fries. Let me tell you, for $9, you get a very generous portion. I try not to overly eat much for breakfast and even took some food home. The meat was as good as you can get for $8 but do not get me wrong it was satisfying and the eggs were cook well. What is also nice here is that they got a juice bar which serves some fresh drinks, that also includes shakes and coffee. I got the "Bugs Bunny " which has carrot, ginger, and apple. It was a nice drink to have in the morning! With the great prices here, I would definitely come back to try some of their other offerings and any specials that are available! NOTE: This place is CLOSED on Saturdays and they are not open for dinner. read more

Great food, great service!!!! My go to brunch spot for great pancakes and their empanadas are awesome!

I have only done take out for this place; we order here frequently for work. You can't find a better lunch deal for Latin American food in the area! They literally fill the lunch container so it's about to burst. Rice, beans, veggies, plantains, and your choice of meat and a drink all for like $8. It's enough food for 3 meals for me and it was delicious. The workers are nice and the delivery is always fast. Definitely a must-try for a lunch spot!! read more

Fantastic breakfast and very kind staff. Will absolutely come here again! Fresh squeezed juice a plus

Just OK, don't see what the hype is about. Got a 4-meat omelette. Chorizo tasted old and funky. I asked for cheddar and they gave me American. Toast wasn't toasted and they put some margarine like product on it, not butter. Wife got an egg white omelette that was really overcooked. They don't skimp on the meat which is unusal these days. Home fries were pretty bland. Cute place and people there were really friendly. I think they need some better help in the kitchen. read more

Very Nice Cafe Excellent Service Fantastic Food With A Latin Flair Lincoln Grill Cafe has a spotless modern look & feel with a decidedly Latin approach to their diverse menu offerings. Comfortable seating, clear menu, great service and the place was clean top to bottom. This eclectic blend of American / Latin comfort food had my attention immediately, from the moment I read the menu on their web site to the time I got in my car drove over to Lincoln Ave. and had the food in front of me was less than a hour. Maria was quite helpful and knew the menu inside out, her suggestions where spot on as my breakfast meal was as described and very good in addition the fresh juice she whipped up was excellent. This place is pretty good! So eat here, support local business and have some good food. read more

Oh my god!! There empandas are AMAZING!! They have 3 different kinds, chicken, beef & cheese for only $1.50 each. They are pipping hot, delicious, and crispy. If your on a diet, stay away because you will even see the grease sifting thru that brown bag. I decided to try the panini sandwich with fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and pesto sauce which did not disappoint. For $5.50 which included a bag of chips was a great lunch deal. Service was great, the young lady was patient, answered my questions and was very polite. They have an array of foods to choose from that can easily be modified to your liking. This place is great when your craving a Spanish meal or a light snack. read more

I was craving Latin food for lunch and Lincoln Grill hit the spot. I've enjoyed their empanadas here before but was in the mood for a Cuban sandwich. It was my lucky day, cause their Cuban panini was delicious. Pressed between the perfectly toasted bread were tender pieces of pernil, ham, pickles, swiss cheese, with a mayo and mustard spread. The size is about a foot long so it can be shared, but I practically devoured the entire thing. What a tasty and delightful sandwich. I also ordered a side of tostones and snuck a couple pieces in and brought the sandwich over the top! Their empanadas are fantastic too. Delicious deep fried pockets filled with either chicken, beef, or cheese. The filling is what sets these babies apart from other empanadas I've had. The chicken is moist and flavorful. The beef is not the typical ground beef but tender slices of slow roasted beef that is seasoned well. It also comes with a side of spicy green sauce or spicy mayo, which is a must in my book. My family ordered take out so I can't speak for the dine in service, but our order was ready within 15 minutes which is pretty good considering it was an order for 6 ppl. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. $1.50 for an empanada, $6.25 for a Cubano. Overall, a great spot for a Latin lunch and I'm definitely coming back again for that Cuban sandwich. read more

Nice cafe on the corner of a busy street bordering Hawthorne and Fair Lawn. The two young ladies behind the counter were very friendly and took the time to help me decide what I should try. Being in the mood for lunch (they'll serve breakfast later in the day!) I went with their chicken and beef empanadas, with a side of yellow rice, black beans and sweet plantains. Everything was fresh and delicious and the empanadas were great - Generous fillings and not greasy. I also had their "bugs bunny" juice. Fresh from their juicer - apple, carrot with a hint of ginger. Very good! Good luck ladies - nice clean, comfortable inviting cafe you have here. Oh, and there is a small parking lot around the side - helpful. read more

I love Lincoln Grill! The only down side is that it's not open on Saturday. :/ The girls manning the restaurant are always friendly and know many of the regulars by name. I have never felt rushed, pressured, or unwelcome at Lincoln. There's a great selection of hearty breakfast items. The empanadas are DELICIOUS. Whatever was left of my willpower to eat moderately easily crumbled when I had the empanadas for the first time... "betcha can't eat just one" or so they say! read more

A family owned hidden gem! The staff was very helpful and courteous. The menu was simple to look at. The prices are reasonable. The food speaks for itself! The presentation was simple and perfect. The portions are just as perfect as the food. To say the least it's difficult to type and eat at the same time. That's how fast you'd like to let everyone know how good this place is and at the same time the conflicting feeling of not letting everyone know your little secret. read more

Ordered empanadas from here for a work appreciation lunch. Right from the start, Annecia (not sure if I'm spelling that correct) was kind, helpful, accommodating and patient with my dozens of questions. She made sure to confirm the order when I called the day of and followed through on my request to have "lots of extra sauce." The empanadas came on time (a little earlier which was even better), and they were delicious!! We got beef and chicken, and they were LOADED with meat. The empanada shell was crispy and warm, and the fillings were well seasoned. These were also a large size, and everyone was full after two. The staff ran to eat these with the provided sauces. I wasn't a huge fan of the sauces, but everyone else was. I considered a few other places like Gourmet Express and Noches de Colombia in Paterson, but I am so glad I got to try this place. It was a great experience, and for $2 an empanada , a wonderful value. Thanks Lincoln Grill! read more
