a plate of food with rice and vegetables

This is my favorite place in NJ !!! I eat here at least 3 times a week. My only complaint, is it's not open for dinner !!! The hot lunch is great !!! I also love the sandwiches, empanadas and salads !!! The owner is super friendly and the food is always on point. The lunch plate is amazing, I'm always on the move and I can get a quick nutritious meal here that doesn't break the bank. Words can't describe how much I love this place.

This is always a good quick place to eat at. They make fresh juices. The only this is the last time I ordered my sandwich they kitchen messed it up. Luckily I do not live far so they delivered me another one! Otherwise, staff is nice!

looking for places to eat breakfast? Go to the Lincoln Grill Cafe. Didn't know where to get breakfast so I looked online and saw "Lincoln Grill Cafe". Our waitress was so nice and friendly. I got freshly squeezed apple juice. You could taste that it was fresh. It was a little small in there. There isn't much parking space but overall, I had a great breakfast! (again)

Everything at the Lincoln Grill is amazing, but you have to try the steak and eggs. For $10, it's a large portion of the most flavorful steak you've ever had! Honestly, it's the perfect hangover cure. The service is great, the food is well packaged for take out and the pricing can't be beat!

Look for the sign as you're driving on Lincoln Rd.

As my hunt for a great Taylor ham, egg and cheese continues, I wound up at this little corner grill. Employees were excellent. I called in my sandwich order and it was ready 7 minutes later as I walked in. Can't beat that. As I'm waiting on line, the five customers ahead of me were each getting an empanada or two as well. Now my curiosity is racing. So obviously, I had to get a chicken and a beef empanada as well! Let's start with the breakfast sandwich. Excellent. Gooey cheese and layered perfectly. 2 pieces of Taylor ham, egg in the middle and 2 pieces of Taylor ham. The formula was perfect. I always get it on a round roll. These guys use a sesame seed roll which i wasn't thrilled with but........ it wasn't a game change luckily. The Empanadas were out of this world. They were juicy and spiced just right. They weren't skimpy with the meat either. This was stuffed to the gills. What a find that was!!! This place has its breakfast and empanada game on point!

Happy Customers!

Sundays with #DaddyScoopsAndLaylaBean. Breakfast at Lincoln Grill Cafe on Lincoln Ave in Fair Lawn, NJ. Latin Fried Steak & Eggs with Home Fries and Toast. Pancakes with Strawberries & Bananas with Peanut Butter. She's saying "Eat Eat," while doing the Sign Language. Then off to Rosemont Park. #MajorLeagueGrubbin #NomNomNom

Chicken and cheese empanada.

Been wanting to come here for a long time, but never stopped in I'm glad I did today. Nice clean well kept place. Very friendly service. So many choices but I was in the mood for empanadas and a burrito. I got a cheese empanada and the chicken empanada both very good size and very tasty along with some pink sauce. Then I topped it off with the steak burrito. Nice size burrito for a great price. Will definitely be back to try their hot lunch specials. I would love to have this place for dinner one day but they close at 4:00 everyday.

Great local spot for breakfast and lunch with Latin flair. The empanadas are a favorite. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The prices are fair as well

Lincoln Grill Cafe is a good place to visit for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. You get good food for the price you pay, a great bang for your buck! The inside is simple, yet clean and nice. I came here for a late breakfast and started off with some empanadas. I got one beef and one cheese with no complaints from either. They are a good size at a fair price! I then got the Latin fried steak and eggs which came with home fries. Let me tell you, for $9, you get a very generous portion. I try not to overly eat much for breakfast and even took some food home. The meat was as good as you can get for $8 but do not get me wrong it was satisfying and the eggs were cook well. What is also nice here is that they got a juice bar which serves some fresh drinks, that also includes shakes and coffee. I got the "Bugs Bunny " which has carrot, ginger, and apple. It was a nice drink to have in the morning! With the great prices here, I would definitely come back to try some of their other offerings and any specials that are available! NOTE: This place is CLOSED on Saturdays and they are not open for dinner.

Lunch special! Stewed chicken, rice beans and veggies.

I have only done take out for this place; we order here frequently for work. You can't find a better lunch deal for Latin American food in the area! They literally fill the lunch container so it's about to burst. Rice, beans, veggies, plantains, and your choice of meat and a drink all for like $8. It's enough food for 3 meals for me and it was delicious. The workers are nice and the delivery is always fast. Definitely a must-try for a lunch spot!!

Pancakes with strawberries Banana mango milkshake

Perfect place to stop by and grab lunch and breakfast. Pricing might be a little higher than usual but for the quality you get it is really nice they have staff that speaks English as well as Spanish with is always nice to have.

Steak lomo

I'm amazed because of the ridículos amount of food you get. To top that off you also get a nice portion of mixed green salad. Which was very tasty yum yum. Steak lomo is Served with fries, white rice, green peppers,2 eggs over easy and of course steak. All for $11.50 You cant beat that. Rediculos. Unbelievable. ;-)

Catalano Coffee - Hot Maple Latte

I had high expectations for Catalano Coffee Company given their impressive variety of coffee…read moreroasts, but the experience was inconsistent. The cold brew is stand-out, uniquely smooth with a natural hint of sweetness. I had some serious crackhead energy after this drink LOL. I was ready to run for president, start a YouTube channel, and take over the world!!! All jokes aside, you gotta love coffee that is not only tasty, but STRONG. Catalano Coffee is a small business that does it right. The owner is super passionate and knowledgeable about the industry. They serve locally roasted organic coffee from around the world. This is the place to experiment with different roasts and origins to find the pour of your dreams. Pricing is a bit higher than other cafes, but I'm willing to pay more for high quality beans. I've tried a couple of different drinks and my favorites are the specialty lattes. I recommend the maple and mocha lattes if you want something that is on the sweeter (but not sickeningly sweet) side. The baristas know how to create the right balance of steamed milk and espresso. The espresso is deep and rich. The additional flavors are not overpowering and add the right amount of natural sweetness to the bitter notes. This is a quiet and cozy spot to sip on a drink while getting work done. There's comfortable furniture, free wifi, and outlets. Very simple decor with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. It's easy to miss because it's located in a small plaza, but don't hesitate to try their coffee if you're around the area!

He had tried it at a friend's mosque and he says he's been chasing that high ever since. We figured we'd try to get some at Mokafe. It wasn't too difficult to find street parking, but the cafe was surprisingly busy for a late Sunday night. We placed our order for Adeni Shai, Dubai Knafa Brownie, and a Lotus Biscoff croissant. Everything was delicious. I have never had Yemeni tea before so I didn't have a bar to measure it against. I really enjoyed the tea though my friend said it wasn't exactly what he was looking for. I feel like it could've done with more spices but it still tasted very good. The Dubai Knafa Brownie was excellent. The brownie by itself was nice and moist with the perfect texture for a brownie. The Knafa set it over the top with the crunch and pistachio flavor. I'd definitely get this again. The Lotus Biscoff Croissant was good, but I liked the brownie more. It was about an average croissant but the Biscoff spread added some nice flavor to it. I think it could've used more though. It was buttery and flaky; pillars a of what a croissant should be. However, I'd try another pastry before ordering this again. The place is clean, they play great music, and the service is prompt and friendly. Mokafe is a wonderful Coffee House and I'd love to come back.

Since Yemeni coffee and tea options aren't common for everyone, they take the time to explain the menu and answer questions, which I really appreciated. However, the Adeni Chai was the only saving grace of the visit. It was flavorful and well made, but the coffee was a massive disappointment. I tried the Jubani after the staff described it as a delicious light-roasted coffee packed with caffeine, but in reality, it tasted like bland cardamom water with absolutely no coffee flavor or body. It felt like I was just drinking hot spiced water. The atmosphere was also a major issue as there was no seating available whatsoever. The crowd was mostly of Middle Eastern descent and many were incredibly rude; people will bump right into you and not say a word. Even worse was the way some customers spoke to the workers, it was absolutely deplorable. Honestly, who raised you? It was uncomfortable to witness. The dessert selection was even worse. Most of what we ordered felt stale and old. The only thing worth eating was the bubble dessert with cheese because they actually toast it. We tried both the pistachio milk cake and the pistachio dream cake, and neither was impressive. The khattafi in the pistachio dream was the biggest letdown; it was so stale and bland I can't believe they actually put it out to sell when it was clearly weeks if not months old. The basboosa was also a disappointment, as it was a very small square of semolina cake for almost $5. Overall, It is not a good place for coffee or desserts, so if you do go, stick strictly to the Adeni chai.

(cappuccino.) the second time I went I blame myself. This time I noticed both employees did not wash their hands and I ordered the same thing. There's an old gentleman that made my coffee while the other employee wore a black apron and decided to go smoke cigarettes and mingle with the people on the sidewalk. Both times I noticed that the employees don't wash their hands considering they didn't put their hands in the coffee. It's still unsanitary. The sink area was completely disgusting and wet just like if no one cared of hygiene or cleanliness. I guess they are plenty of chairs but when you have these old creepy guys sitting there watching you, it's creepy. I don't recommend this place or I don't recommend the employees that clearly don't care. I will not be going back to this place. The people that sit on the outside are obnoxious, always smoking cigarettes, and it makes the place unattractive. It's as if they're trying to reenact the Sopranos. Your first view of this establishment when getting out of your car are grease bought douche bags that clearly don't have a job sitting around before noon smoking cigarettes on total Avenue. I don't believe this is an adequate environment to sit outside and drink, coffee or inside. Fix the ambience and get rid of the employees that don't do their job properly or don't have a considerate attitude for hygiene. One thing I almost forgot to mention I don't believe that politics should be spewed by employee employees while customers are being served. Including sprinkles of Reese's rhetoric.
